1 – End to Beginning

After Sigma's calamitous maverick crimes and Redips' betrayal were eliminated by the Maverick hunters, world peace was restored.

The people, both humans, and reploids, went to their daily lives. Some of them continued their friendships and some of them discriminated against their kinds.

All of them thought 'it was normal' until the huge blazing inferno rose at Abel City. The people were screamed in terror and hunted down by mavericks.

The maverick hunters rescued the people and slew their foes. Suddenly, Sigma was revived with new dark armor.

The powerful heroes, X, Zero, and Axl fought him in the deadliest battle. Both the good and the evil were wounded but their battle was still ongoing.

When Sigma became fragile, X pulled the trigger as he fired his powerful charge shot and perished Sigma for good as his body turned into ashes.

Zero sighed and wiped his sweat. "Finally! We did it... again!"

"Why Sigma didn't stay dead since we beat him twice?" Axl asked as he sat down on the ground.

"Actually, Zero and I defeated him six times, plus two times with you as our comrade," X corrected.

"Nani?! (What?!) Sigma doesn't know how to give up!" Axl was shocked, yet still amazed.

"Well, he's dead now. So, we can go home now," Zero said.

"Yeah," X mumbled sadly as he glanced at the damaged and the city in flames. The victims and maverick hunters were injured and others were breathless. He felt like that he was too late to save the rest.

Zero patted X's shoulder as he was concerned and understood his best friend until they heard a burst of sinister laughter.

"Bwahahahaha!"

"The hell?!" Axl got up and readied his guns.

The ashes merged into one and completed Sigma's existence. He let out a smirk on his face.

"Shit! How the fuck did he revives?!" Zero unleashed his light saber. X tried to raise his buster but he felt weak after using his last shot.

Sigma laughed once more. "You all are no match to me! With this power of the core, I AM UNSTOPPABLE! BWAHAHAHAHA!" he raised his canon as he charged it.

X tried to recharge his buster but it was broken.

As Sigma fired the canon, Zero rushed in to protect X but they were protected by the pink barrier as Sigma's shot bounced back and hit at Sigma instead. Sigma screamed in agony.

"Whoa! I didn't know you guys have shields," Axl surprised.

"I don't have a shield," X blinked.

"Me neither and I don't like pink," Zero commented.

"Sigma Butthead Baldy!"

Everyone glimpsed to the sky. They saw a girl with long pink hair, a school uniform, and light blue armor. Her face was covered with a golden butterfly mask and red shades. She stood on a floating pink platform.

"Your immorality scheme is a disgrace as the humans and reploids want to perish your existence! Your life will end today!"

"Oh really! Well, you can't stop me! I can revive myself anyway-"

The girl snapped her fingers as the huge 'Hello Kitty' shaped meteors struck down at Sigma multiple times.

X, Zero, and Axl felt the ground was shaking. Axl fell off while X and Zero hugged each other tightly. The three maverick hunters and other people in the city were surprisingly protected with pink barriers. The meteors continued to crash Sigma as the fog blocked their sight.

After the meteors halted, the entire city was rebuilt, the hunters got healed and the people were revived by the unknown miracle.

As the fog cleared up the way, Sigma was completely vanished and turned to dust as the girl appeared in front of the hunters. The dark violet gem was floating on the girl's hand.

"So... Sigma used the core to control life and death," she spoke.

Axl stood up as he went closer to her. "Excuse me, miss," he tapped on her shoulder but she vanished with a speck of glitter dust. "Oh my god! She's a ghost!" he dumbfounded.

"No, she's not. She was just teleported with pixie dust," Zero joked.

"Zero, can you please let me go?" X asked as he noticed that Zero was still hugging him.

"Oh!" Zero let X go of the hug. "By the way, any idea who she is?"

X and Axl shook their heads.

"I want to ask her but not today. Besides," Zero looked around as the city and the people. "Did she use the 'core' to fix the city and heal people in a snap?"

"Most likely yes... The core healed me. So, I'll investigate the city," X answered as he got up.

"You're not tired after the fight, aren't you?" Zero asked as he raised a brow.

"Nope. I felt fine," X added.

"Guys, I didn't know Sigma has the last name as we heard from her," Axl remembered. "Sigma Butthead Baldy?"

The trio looked at each other in silence... And then, began to laugh loudly.

"Hahaha! Butthead Baldy! It's perfectly fit for that dumbass!" Zero commented.

X chuckled. "Guess our mysterious girl has a sense of humor. She even threw cute kitty meteors."

"Yup! At least, we're in a good mood. Well, I'm going to report this to Commander Signas. After that, I'm going to play video games," Axl grinned happily as he put his arms behind his head.

"Yeah. I need to check on the hunters too," Zero reminded.

"Good idea. It's best to split up for a while. See ya later at the MH HQ," X waved and walked away.

"Bye, X! We're going to eat pizza for a celebration," Axl reminded and waved cheerfully.

"No, Axl. X wants some salad tonight. We're going to have a vegetable party," Zero teased Axl.

"Noooooooo!" Axl screamed as he squished his cheeks and made duck lips childishly.

Meanwhile, at the large room for the secret organization, the seven elite members sat on their chairs and watched the entire incident from the monitors on the wall.

The door automatically opened as X arrived and took his seat. Before the meeting started, the scientist in black was about to turn off the monitor...

"And Iiiiiiii... will always love youuuuuuuu!

I... will always love youuuuuuu!

You, oooooooooh!"

"ANGELO! WILL YOU TURN THAT OFF?!" the commander shouted as his face blushed and the members got jumpscare from him and the video.

"Waah! Sorry, Nash!" the scientist turned off the video quickly. "At least, no one sees you bathing-" he didn't continue his sentence as he saw the commander's deadliest glare.

"You got busted, Hm-hmph!" the African-American businessman commented.

"Maverick Hunter X, how's your situation at Abel City?" the 50-year-old chairwoman asked politely.

"There was a large disaster at Abel City, led by Sigma and his army. We won as we eliminated Sigma but he was revived by the 'core' he mentioned," X responded.

"Fortunately, our humble assassin sensed the core from Sigma as she snatched it out of him," the businessman added.

"The Herrscher core of Death... It can control life and death. If Sigma continues to use it, we'll be dead meat for sure. That baldy is always the big cheater," the scientist sighed and crossed his arms.

"Did you put the core to the safe place at your lab?" the commander asked worriedly.

"Don't cha worry, Nash. My laboratory is the safest place for the Herrscher core. Only me and Baby Cakes knew the password," the scientist smiled with confidence.

"Speaking of Herrscher core, did she revive the people from the incident as well? I was working at the hospital. Suddenly, I discovered that the people who were killed in the incident got revived and healed. Not only that, the people with terminal illnesses, senior citizens, and others who didn't involve the incident, came back to life too," the Indian doctor explained.

"Oh my goodness!" the reploid general shocked.

"Indeed, it is OMG, WTF miracle. Should we use the core to make them dead again?" the scientist asked.

"Heavens no! Just let them live. The incident is too much for them," the 40-year-old chief justice responded quickly.

"I agreed with the Chief Justice. Let's give them a second chance for now. I felt helpless that I couldn't save anyone," X said sadly.

"It's alright, X. We all tried our best to protect both sides. That's why we create the organization and help each other for both humans and reploids," the chairwoman stated.

"Angelo, tell Tyronica that she did a good job. As well as for you, X. I'm glad that you and your companions defeated Sigma again. So, thank you," the general thanked.

"You're welcome, sir," X nodded.

"Well, the meeting is adjourned," the chairwoman announced to end the meeting. "Oh! Please move the seats, Dr. Angelo is going to get punished by Signas."

Everyone moved the seats, except the scientist and the commander.

"HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTT!" the scientist ran away to the door.

"I'M GOING TO KICK YOUR BUTT, ANGELO!" the commander shouted outrageously as he chased him down.

"Are you sure that no one will stop them?" the doctor asked nervously.

"Just let them go. We knew them a lot," the chairwoman answered; even she knew the scientist's shenanigans.

The surrounding was pitch-black. The boy couldn't see a thing.

When he closed my eyes and opened them, he heard screams.

When he did that again, he saw four lifeless boys lying on the blood-stain floor.

"Kiko! Yukina! Fram! Gino!"

He heard his voice cried their names. They were his friends.

When he closed my eyes and opened again, all the corpses were crushed by the mavericks with their devilish smiles and their heartless laughs.

"It's hopeless, boy! Your friends are dead now! Now, you're next!"

"You... You... I will never... forgive you... I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!"

"Ah!" Axl gasped and woke up from my bed. Then, he took a deep breath. "What a nightmare," he muttered and always believed that it was just a nightmare.
