Hello everyone! Hope everyone's New Year went well. I admit I relaxed at home (had to work the next day). Anyways, I wanted to give everyone a gift for the new year. I've recently gotten into Tian Guan Ci Fu and absolutely loved it. And my muses being their usual selves decided to give me inspiration. So without further ado, here's another story they've concocted. *grins*
Eternally Yours
-Prologue-
"We'll be the best of friends forever!" A young Xie Lian held up the red pearl he had in hand that had a red ribbon threaded through it to the other young boy in front of him. "My most precious treasure."
"I….I can't accept this," the other boy replied with a shake of his head; his black hair somewhat messy with the right side a little longer, covering his right eye that had an eye patch over it.
"Nonsense. You're my most precious friend." Xie Lian pulled a lock of the raven black hair forward on the right side before braiding the ribbon in with it so the pearl hung down at the end. It was slightly messy.
"I….I don't know what to say." The raven haired boy gave a small smile as he pulled the lock of hair forward and looked at the red pearl before looking up to his friend. "I'll cherish it forever."
"Xie Lian! Time for dinner!"
Xie Lian looked up at the sound of his mother's voice in the distance and sighed. He stood up and brushed himself off. "I guess I better go before my mom gets after me." He gave a smile as he helped his friend to his feet. "See you later!"
Looking at his friend running back across the field to the houses in the distance, the young boy gave a small smile as he touched the braid and pearl.
"I promise I'll find something special to give you in return some day."
Well that's the prologue. Don't worry. It's just beginning. I've got lots planned for this story. *smiles*
