"Human speak"

"Ow...my head..."
The unknown speaker opened his hazel eyes to see that he was in some deep dark forest area. Then, he began rubbing the back of his aching head. Starting to get up, when he stumbled. He looks down and notices that his right leg is bleeding, and his red shirt and blue cargo shorts are in shambles. Looking through his pockets, he finds nothing in them but lint. He sighs, but pays it no mind, as he is determined to figure out where he is, other than deep in a dark forest. With or without anything on his person. It doesn't matter that he has nothing, right now he is more concerned about getting out alive. Noticing that his black tennis shoes have holes in them, and the laces are ripped, he starts walking-or rather limping-anyway. As he's limping slowly through these giant woods, he realizes he has no memory of who he is, or where he came from.
(Who...who am I? Where am I? Where is my home? What is home?)
This perturbs him greatly, but he keeps walking around inside the forest. It feels like if he explores the forest and finds a way to leave, then he will be able to restore his memories. It's just a gut feeling, but it's all he has to go on at this point. And as long as he can keep holding onto that thought, he should be ok...right? He keeps hearing rustling above him in the trees, and it's freaking him out. So he calls out into the trees, with his voice shaking a little, and his natural stammer comes out, though even more pronounced than usual.
"Wh-wh-wh-who's out there?"
The rustling continues, but otherwise there's no response, and he just wants to leave the forest.
(How big is this place? Where's the darn exit?)
He starts limping faster, until he trips on a fallen leafy branch and starts rolling down a hill headfirst.
"Ow! Oof!"
When he reaches the bottom, he feels like his head is spinning. He's so dizzy! Shaking off his dizziness, he gets back up. (I have to leave this place!)
He hears more rustling right behind him, and he starts panicking.
(P-please...please let whatever's out there be nice! I don't wanna die!)
He presses himself up against a big tree to hide from whatever or whoever is making that rustling sound. Hopefully it's friendly.
(Please go away! Please go away!)
Then once it stops, he shakily moves out from behind the big tree and starts darting off.
(Whew.)
His limp is causing him to stumble, and he almost falls over again. He gets his (albeit shaky) bearings and presses on, since he is still looking for an exit.
(Why is this forest so big?)
Then, a scary thought hits him, and causes him to worry.
(What if I am just going in circles?)
Quickly looking behind him, he sees a shadow move behind a tree. He gets scared and darts away again.
(I gotta hurry and get out of here!)
His bleeding right leg is starting to throb from putting pressure on it, but he keeps on going, feeling like his life depended upon it.
(Gotta...keep going...I need to escape!)
*huff huff*
Huffing and puffing really hard now, he is feeling very exhausted, and is starting to wobble on his leg.
(Cmon...the exit has to be here somewhere...)
At first, he was in high hopes that he could find his way out. Now, he's not sure he will ever make it.
(Is this...hopeless? Am I hopelessly lost?)
The forest seems to be never ending, and at each turn he is presented with trees, trees, and more trees. What's worse is that it's turning night, meaning he won't be able to see very well. He is now also getting very worried that soon any forest creatures can come out to eat me. He hopes that it won't happen...but he is still worried. He keeps on running in between the dense trees.
(Man...I'll have to find somewhere to sleep soon.)
He starts thinking that he will never see my family or friends again. Then a depressing thought hits him.
(I have no memories, so even if my family and friends came up to me, I wouldn't be able to recognize them.)
A tear escapes my eye and slides down his cheek at that thought. His mind starts going crazy with worry, and even more depressing thoughts quickly spring into his head.
(What if they are all dead, and even if I escape these woods there is no one who could help me get my memories back? What would become of me then? Why was I here in the first place? Was it a form of punishment? Did I run off? I'm so confused...)
He shudders at these thoughts, and then a few more final terrible thoughts enter his mind.
(What if...I never had any family or friends to begin with? What if I am...alone in the world? Am I doomed to be forever alone?)
He panicked and then began to cry, hopelessly lost and very, very lonely. Eventually, he hears the rustling come back, but he doesn't care anymore due to how depressed he's just become.
(So...tired...I can't...keep going...)
He slid down against a tree, his throbbing right leg finally getting a break, and closed his now tear-filled eyes in acceptance of his fate.
(If someone or something is gonna kill me, at least it'll be in my sleep so it'll be painless.)
He collapsed against the giant tree from exhaustion.
(Maybe it's for the best...)
Soon, sleep overcame him.
