A/N: HOW AM I ONLY JUST FINDING THIS SHOW!?
Not my first fanfiction, but definitely my first Royals one. I have no idea where this is going to go, and I have no idea how long this is going to get... one of my fics made it to over 110k words! 99% sure this wont be that long though!
There will be things that happened in the show that will happen in here... but things around them will be different.
Anyways enough of my rambling... different take on the Jaspenor relationship and how Liam helps them keep cover. Always rate my fics as T as I do not know what's going to happen!
I own nothing but the mistakes.
Eleanor sat in the back of the SUV with Liam next to her. His bodyguard, Jasper was sat opposite them. He appeared to be staring out of the window, but in reality he was watching for threats.
Liam was watching Eleanor with amusement, as she could not take her eyes off Jasper. He watched this for few minutes.
"Ok. I can't stand this any longer. What's going on with you two?"
Both Jasper and Eleanor spun their heads to face him.
"I do not know what you mean, your highness." Jasper said, his English accent straight laced, straight faced at the same time Eleanor replied "Nothing".
Filing away the fact that they looked at each other when they said it, Liam let it go. He would get it out of one of them eventually.
"How long?" Liam shouted at their driver. They had been stuck in traffic for what felt like ages.
"I don't know your highness. There has been an accident on Tower Bridge which has closed it, and we're too close to simply turn around."
"Come on! I am starving!" Eleanor whined.
"I would not recommend making an unplanned stop outside of this car." Jasper warned.
"Jasper. She is right. We'll never make it back to the Palace by lunch time, and I know you're nervous about us sitting still like this."
"OOOO. Burr is close by. We can try get in there." Eleanor exclaimed.
"Len, that place is packed. We're royals and we cant get a table in there" Liam told her.
"Can we at least try?"
"Your highness, I would not recommend this."
"Jasper. I am starving, we may be sat here for hours and I'm getting bored. I want to eat!"
"Fine, your Highnesses, but as this is an unscheduled trip, please do as I say when I say it. IT is my job to be concerned for your safety, and as I am by myself with two Royals, keeping my eye on your both is twice as hard."
"Whatever." Eleanor said, rolling her eyes, reaching for the door handle. Jasper beat her to it, and stared at her. Blue eyes locking on green.
"Len. He has a point" Liam pointed out.
"Fine." She huffed, letting go of the handle so Jasper could alight first.
Jasper climbed out of the car and held his hand out to assist Eleanor out of the car. He grabbed her wrist to stop her walking too far while Liam climbed out of the car.
"Ok. This is how it is going to go." Jasper said, his hand still clamped around Eleanor's wrist. A fact Liam had not missed. "I want the two of you to walk in front of me. Side by side, with enough of a gap between you for me to jump through should I need to. If I say run, we shall meet here, back at the car. Should I get left behind for any reason, tell the driver to go without me. Your safety is more important than me. Should we run into a crowd with cameras, I will clear a way."
"Jesus Jasper. I think that's the most I have heard you speak!" Liam joked.
Jasper let go of Eleanor's wrist and she proceeded to lead the way to the restaurant that she wanted to try since it opened five years earlier.
