Yes, I've started a third story even though I am nowhere near to finishing the other ones!

Charlotte Whitman was sitting huddled on her couch, shovelling ice cream into her mouth. The yellow wool blanket around her shoulders enveloped her like a cocoon and kept her warm.

"No, Lucy! Don't marry Peter! You love Jack. Tell them you love Jack."

Charlotte had watched 'While you were Sleeping' several dozen times, but nevertheless still commanded the fictional characters to do this and that and always mourned that moment when all was almost lost. (Even though Rom-Coms always had happy endings.)

The doorbell rang. Tossing the blanket and almost empty tub of Cookie Dough ice cream aside, Charlotte tramped to the door and opened it.

Outside stood two incredibly hot vampires. She swore, as she was still in her Spiderman pyjamas. She hadn't even brushed her hair; it looked like a bird's nest.

"Hi! I'm Alice Cullen and this is my husband, Jasper. Can we come in?"

Sure! Charlotte thought. Let two strange vampires into your apartment. Then, they can easily kill you and suck your blood.

"Umm-" Alice's smile dimmed a little.

"It's okay. I wouldn't trust two strange vampires either." She smiled kindly at Charlotte. "We heard you're half vampire and half human. Is that correct?"

"Who's asking?"

"We need you to show the Volturi that humans and vampires can conceive children. My niece is like you. But someone thought that she was an immortal child and reported it to the Volturi."

"So, I'm like proof that I half vampire children exist?"

Alice nodded.

"Yeah, I'll go with you. I just need to get changed." This was followed by Charlotte's nervous laughter. "I'm gonna close the door then. But I'll be back." Charlotte knew that if they wanted, the hot vampires at her door could just kick it down. But closing it gave her a sense of privacy.

Alice nodded again, and five minutes later, a still slightly dishevelled looking Charlotte exited her apartment.

"Ready for take-off." She quipped.

They all got into Carlisle's sleek black Mercedes, which was probably the most expensive car Charlotte had ever been in in her roughly a hundred years of immortality. The black leather was stainless and smooth. The inside of the car smelt clean and there were no empty water bottles or McDonalds Happy Meal boxes. Well, they were vampires and couldn't eat human food but the car was still surprisingly clean.

"Are you rich? Like loaded rich?" Charlotte blurted.

"I can see the future, a very useful tool for gambling and stocks." Alice proclaimed, grinning.

"Woah." They drove in silence for a while. "So... Where are we headed to?"

"Forks, Washington. There's a large clearing where everybody's gathering."

"Alice? Can I call you that?"

"Yes," her laughter was like the sound of tinkling bells.

"How high is the chance that I can die. You know with you seeing the future and stuff."

"If everything goes as planned, nobody will die." 'Except Irina' she mentally added.

"And if things don't go as planned?"

"Then a lot of people will die."

"Me being one of them?"

"No." Alice lied. They needed her.

"Okay. Good." Charlotte didn't want to die. Rings of Power was being released soon and she hadn't seen the Statue of Liberty yet. Plus, an Amazon shipment was supposed to arrive on Friday.

When the two vampires and half vampire got out of the car it was cold. Not for Alice or Jasper but for Charlotte. Her weak human side was very much susceptible to the cold. She pulled her coat tighter around her shivering body.

They walked for about half an hour with no sound but the whistling wind and crunch of snow around them. Then, they reached the clearing. Charlotte saw the black cloaks and wolves before anything else.

Edward had just let Aro read his memory from when her had seen Alice's vision from her mind.

"What if you were sure that she could remain concealed from the human world?" A voice from the clearing asked.

"That cannot be known." Someone declared.

'Showtime' Charlotte thought. She cleared her throat.

"I'm half vampire and half human." She waved her hands in the air so everybody would turn their attention to her, on the side of the clearing. "The vampire seduced my mother, who died giving birth to me. My Aunt raised me. After seven years I was an adult, by human standards in appearance."

"Where is your aunt?"

"She is dead. She refused to be turned."

"How old are you?" Judging by her eyes it was a newborn, and by the way she clung onto the child, the mother of the child.

"Over a hundred years. I am immortal."

"What do you eat?" The Volturi asked.

"Everything. Human food or blood. I can survive on either."

"They are much like us."

"Regardless, the Cullens have been consorting with werewolves, our natural enemies."

"They are not werewolves but shifters. They can control their changing and don't have an urge to kill."

The other man smiled. "They pose no immediate threat. We will not fight today. However, we must monitor this half vampire half human. She must join us in Volterra."

"Woah, woah, woah. That was NOT past of the original plan. I'm going back home and spending as much time as I want there. I will not go to so evil vampire hideout city. Nu-uh." The eerie smile of the Voturi's leader was the last thing she saw before fainting.

"Well done, Alec. Felix, bring her to the jet." As the strange black smoke resided, a tall man picked up the half vampire. The Cullens and their witnesses were already long gone, eager to leave before the Volturi would change their mind.

As Felix was carrying the girl Demetri showed up beside him. "What an interesting creature. No wonder the masters want to bring her to Volterra." He brushed a stray strand of her hair out of her face before leaving Felix to talk to Alec and Jane.
