A young boy with black hair sits over a disk like object holding a soldering iron. He is so engrossed in his work he doesn't notice that his friend and rival had entered the workshop. "Hello" she says suddenly. The boy jumps and falls on the ground. "Ow." The boy stands up and looks at the girl. "Hi Mei." The girl looks at and asks a question. Did you ever get the teleporter to work?" The girl, Mei Hatsume, asked. "No it doesn't work no matter what I do." Mei then noticed the disk on the work bunch. "What does this baby do?" She asked. The boy smiled and said, "That's a surprise."

Hi there. You're probably thinking who is this guy that you're listening to. My name is Jason smith. You might be wondering why we're following me and not Midoriya. It's simple really. My story is infinitely more enjoyable. I'm kidding, I'm kidding. That green glass canon has a lot more personality than I ever will. No, we're following me, because I have an idea that will change this world forever. Now that we have that out of the way let's go over the basics. This world is a super human society. 80 percent of the world has some kind of super power called a quirk. Now unlike our titular green bean I am not part of the 20 percent without a quirk, but the world didn't see it as much better. My quirk is called Intel and it lets me remember everything I see in detail. I basically have a photographic memory. Made it easy to study but it didn't really help in a fight so it was considered worthless. My first friend was Mei Hatsume. She was the one that got me into science and inventing. The difference between Mei and me was why we built things. I realized that all quirks had to abide by the laws of science. I realized they could be replicated. So I started to work on something simple, creating my own super strength. I read as many books I could find on material science, engineering, robotics and a lot more. Eventually I had a working prototype exoskeleton. I continued to study quirks and how they work mechanically. When the U.A. entrance exam came around I tried out for the support course so that I could build my own tech. I had a plan though. I would be a hero and prove that science and progression was the most powerful weapon in humanity's arsenal. The U.A. sports festival was coming up and I wasn't about to miss this chance.

The festival started with a decree made by the hero student with the highest score on the entrance exam. This "Bakugo" kid was the pinnacle of arrogance. Still he must have been strong to have gotten first in the entrance exam. He would be in for a surprise later. After his embarrassingly egotistical speech the first event was announced. An obstacle course. Everyone began running only to get stuck in the tunnel. The tunnel suddenly got cold and ice formed, freezing the entire tunnel and almost everyone in it. Jason managed to free himself and was back in the race. As a robot approached him, Jason leveled a device at it released a high pitched beeping causing the robot to shut down. He used his sonic disruptor to shut down any robots that crossed his path. When he came to the colossal zero pointer he ran under it. He continued to run as he approached the second obstacle. Jason pulled out an eclectic zip line and sped across the pit riding the wires. As Jason reached the mines he took out his sonic disruptor and detonated some of the mines. Running across the finish line he finished 42nd, just barely making it to the second event.

The second event was announced, the cavalry battle. Midnight began explaining the rules. People would make teams between 2 to 4. One person would be at the top and the rest would carry them. The points went up by 5 except for first place which had ten million. The points were represented by a headband that the rider wore. The goal was to steal headbands and gain as many points as possible. Jason approached the kid who won the race. Mr. Number One already had a friend to join him. 'That was good, everyone needs friends' Jason thought. "Hey I," "Join me person in first place," Hatsume interrupted Jason. "Hatsume, you can't just demand things from people you don't know. Use your cards." Mei takes out a set of flash cards and reads the first one. Mei began talking in a monotone voice. " I am sorry for your loss." "Nope. Wrong one. Sorry," Jason said as he took the cards a searched through them "Ah here we are." He handed the cards back to Mei and she began to read again. "Hi. I'm Mei Hatsume. What is your name? Wait for a response. I need some help." She then looked up with a smile. Jason sighed and asked for their names. "Izuku Midoriya," the boy said with a slight stutter. "Ochako Uraraka'' the girl said with a smile. "Well I'm Jason Smith and this is Mei Hatsume. We're in the support course and would like to join your team." "Why would you to want to join my team?" Asked Midoriya. "Because you're first so all the attention will be on you and everyone will see my super cute babies!" Mei responded. Uraraka then asked Jason, " Why do you want to join us?" Jason responded, "I have something to prove." Jason and Mei were accepted into the team. They started the cavalry battle with a large jump aided by twin jet packs, Uraraka's quirk, and Mei's hover boots. Suddenly explosions were heard coming from some blond. The live warhead scream "Deku you bastard! Those 10 million points are mine!" Jason looked down and saw the screaming blond kid, Bakugo, and remembered that he was the person who gave the opening speech. "He really is arrogant," Jason thought and dropped a bunch of marbles. As the marbles fell they exploded knocking Bakugo off balance. Bakugo was unfortunately rescued by his teammate. Fortunately another blond haired kid stole his headband. The living warhead then turned his attention to the thief. Jason smiled at the two blondes chasing each other. A few more minutes passed when everyone noticed that the team was beginning to fall. "Hey, you ok?" Jason asks Uraraka. "I can't hold us up anymore," she responds. Jason checks a meter on his wrist and says "It's ok. My jetpack has enough fuel and thrust to keep us airborne for another minute." Just as he says this, the jet pack stalls as after it is struck by a pillar of ice. "Or not. Brace for impact!" He screams. They crashed to the ground but managed to stay upright as they came face to face with a team headed by a boy with white and red hair. "Todoroki," Izuku mumbles under his breath. "Sorry guys, I've got nothing to deal with ice. You're on your own," Jason said. "Those points are mine Midoriya." Todoroki, the red white haired kid, and his team dashed at Midoriya. To counter Midoriya told his team to keep to Todoroki's left side. They held off Todoroki until out of nowhere Todoroki's team came forward at incredible speeds with Todoroki grabbing Midoriya's headband. Immediately Midoriya and his team chased after Todoroki. Whatever Todoroki's team did, it left them completely open. As Midoriya and his team dashed at Todoroki. Jason, having seen Todoroki put on the headband, called out "The 10 Million point headband is the middle one." Midoriya grabbed the middle headband as he dashed by, using his power to put out the flames that Todoroki ignited. Suddenly Bakugo exploded through Todoroki's ice pillar. He spots Midoriya and starts chasing him. Backing away and with both Todoroki's team and Bakugo's team chasing him, Midoriya breathes a sigh of relief as time is called.

While everyone walked to lunch Jason and Mei followed Uraraka hoping to eat lunch with her and Midoriya. Well Jason was hoping to eat with Midoriya and Uraraka. He was forcing Mei to eat with them because she hardly ever eats. However when he catches up with Uraraka he doesn't see Midoriya. While he looks around he sees Midoriya being pulled into one of the stadium entrances. "Hey Mei, go on ahead. I'm going to look into something," Jason says. Mei responds with an "Ok." When he walked over heard something. "So tell me," who sounded like Todoroki said. "Are you really All Might's secret love child or something." Midoriya responded "What. No you've got the wrong idea, that's not it at all." "That's a weird way to put it. That implies that there is something between you two. My father is the number two hero Endeavor. If I beat you with just my ice it will be the first step to surpassing All Might without using that bastard's quirk. My old man is ambitious, he made a name for himself with his power but he could never beat All Might. But he's still trying one way or another," Todoroki says. Midoriya looked confused and said, "I'm not sure I follow." Jason decided to walk away at this point. Walking back to the cafeteria he found Uraraka but couldn't find Mei. "Hey, where's Mei?" Jason asked. Uraraka looked at him and said "I don't know." After finding Mei and eating lunch Jason went back to the stadium where the halftime games were beginning. He was surprised when the girls of class 1-A came out wearing cheerleader outfits. Apparently one of their classmates tricked them into doing it. Before they started, two students withdrew from the tournament. Then they showed the brackets for the last event. Midoriya was against Hitoshi Shinso, Mei was against Tenya Iida, Uraraka was against Momo Yaoyorozu, and he was against Katsuki Bakugo. He was against the person with the highest score on the entrance exam.
