It's an unnaturally slow day at the office when Sherlock arrives, barely knocking before he barrels on through Hannibal's door.

A suspicious murder sparks the interest of the FBI striking fear that this might be the work of an old mass murder the Chesapeake ripper. Not wanting to risk anything Jack Crawford calls for help from a well known brilliant mind from Britain in hopes that the case will be solved before anything terrible can happen.

He must protect his closest friends from an elusive threat. Death paralyzes the city of London, and as the infection spreads, certain people realise how helpless they are while Sherlock is dead. Dr. Hannibal Lecter makes his motive clear and personal to the consulting-detective-in-hiding, delivering his disturbingly frightening ultimatum.

After months of being unable to capture the Ripper, Jack calls Sherlock and John over to help solve the crime. Unfortunately, the gruesome nature of one of the crime scenes triggers John's PTSD. John goes to Hannibal for help, and Hannibal helps John quell his PTSD, and lust to kill. Soon, A new killer starts working along side the Ripper. SH and Will hardly keep up. (M for gore.)
