Coming to Silent Hill

After so much to do since reuniting with "family", Danny needed a break.

He plopped his stuff on the side of his bed and landed, facing up.

"This superhero secret life is getting heavier and heavier… I so need a vacation." He said to himself.

Amity Park was safe for now as he thought about going out to the East Coast.

Since Danielle made a brief return, Danny had thought about where she went. He couldn't get his mind off where she went, he was worried for her. He wanted to check on her and see how she was doing. But he knew if he went looking, so would Vlad.

He then sat up, thinking of ways to keep himself from getting bored.

Video games? Nah, played them all. Movies? Nothing new. No new figures, no new comics… heck, if I got attacked by a ghost I've never seen before, at least that's new. He thought.

"I wonder what everyone else is up to?" He said as he got back up, heading to the door. "Mom? Dad?" Their door was open, but nobody answered. "Must be in the basement…" He reasoned.

He headed down to the lab, but found it empty.

Huh… not a single stain of ecto on the floor or walls. He thought.

Danny looked back up the stairs.

"Well, I guess I better-" He took notice of something on the desk nearby. On closer inspection, it was a brochure his parents seemingly ignored. "Huh… what's this?" He asks, looking at it. "Some place in Maine?"

He looked at the pictures of the location. It was a resort town in Maine, surrounded by mountains and a beautiful body of water called Toluca lake. An old fashioned movie theater called "Chastain Heights Cinema", a music store called "I Love Groovy Music", a cute looking shop called "Green Lion Antiques", and even a nice looking restaurant called "Lake Shore Restaurant". All in all, it looked like a quaint place to visit.

As he looked, his desire for a vacation was growing.

He felt like a place like this was perfect.

"Huh… looks good to me." He said to himself.

He needed a break from all things spooky.

As he walked up, he had no idea what this place was going to cause.

The next Day, at Casper High's Cafeteria.

Sam and Tucker both observed the brochure.

"Huh… never heard of this place." Sam said.

"Really?" Danny asks.

"If a place looked this sappy, no way I'd hear of it." She said.

"From the looks of it, I'm assuming there'd be no babes or technology to keep me busy." Tucker said.

"So you guys don't wanna come?" Danny asks.

"Count me out. Way too mainstream looking for me." Sam said with a disinterested groan.

"Unless there's free wi-fi, not a chance." Tucker said.

"Well… I'm going, if just for a day." Danny said.

"You sure? We never even heard about this place before and it seems a little… out of your reach. Why don't we just go the Skulk and Lurk?" Sam suggests.

"Or catch a movie." Tucker suggests.

"That's just it… we do that all the time. I don't know… don't you guys wanna… do something different?" Danny asks.

"Not really." They said in unison.

"Well… it's something I wanna do. Something different." Danny said.

"You do you…" Sam said, still disinterested as she took another bite of her salad.

"Yeah… you do you." Tucker repeats her words as he takes a bite of his burger.

Danny rolled his eyes, but sighed. He'd have the whole day to himself in a quaint looking resort town. No ghosts, no danger, and no embarrassment from his parents.

"If I'm right… I can ask Frostbite to show me the way to Maine." Danny said to himself.

It was worth a shot. He'd pack light, since he didn't plan to stay that long.

He had no idea he'd be encountering something truly terrifying.

All that mattered was the town he thought looked like a fun place to unwind.

Silent Hill.

The Next Day, Saturday

Danny stepped out of the portal. He took a deep breath.

Wow… even the air here smells cleaner.

He took a look at the landscape. The place was big with mountains, trees and bright sky.

As he flew, he didn't see a few ghosts exiting the portal just to see him go.

There were Skulker, Ember, Johnny 13, the Box Ghost, the Lunch Lady, Technus, Desiree, Spectra, Bertrand and Youngblood.

"There he goes." Skulker said.

"Let's rock!" Ember said.

The ghosts followed.

'They saw him fly by and wanted a change for payback.

So, they followed him.

Danny was too far to notice the ghosts, much less have his ghost sense triggered by their presence. All he cared for was the sign he saw up ahead.

Silent Hill. 10 more miles? Awesome. He thought as he sped up.

He still did not see his foes following him.

''Finally... no friends or Thermos around." Skulker whispered in anticipation.

"Let's rock!" Ember says with a sadistic grin.

As the ghosts were drawing in, Skulker took notice of the sign.

His face became one of pure horror.

"STOP!" He went, his flight braking to a hard stop.

The ghosts behind him all collided with him, disliking the abrupt end.

"What the heck?!" Spectra went.

"What are you doing?! Dipstick's that way!" Ember points out.

"Yeah! Let's go rough 'em up!" Johnny said.

"We can't go there!" Skulker snaps to them.

"Well why not? What's such a big deal about that spot?" Ember asks.

Skulker gave all of them a quiet, almost haunted look in his eye.

"Silent Hill…"

Many of the ghosts looked lost when it came to the name of that town. All but one.

"Silent Hill?! AAAHHHHHH! Wait, what is Silent Hill?" The Box Ghost asks absentmindedly.

"The one place all denizens of the Ghost Zone are forbidden to ever go. A place of horrors… Why he'd go there is anyone's guess… but no amount of revenge or satisfaction is worth going there." Skulker said to them.

"Oh, come on!" Johnny went.

"Let's go!" Technus complained.

"Let me find that little dipstick and-" Ember went, balling her hands as if to indicate she was grabbing Danny harshly, but Skulker held a hand out.

"I said no." He said. He then looked over his shoulder and, for once, had a look in his eyes as if he were afraid for Danny's sake. "All we can do… is hope he's among the lucky ones… and leaves."

With Danny

As he flew, he saw what looked like a mist coming up.

"Huh… looks like an unscheduled rain or something. I better land close. Don't wanna hit a flagpole or something I can't see." He said to himself.

He spotted a clearing in the woods nearby and headed there.

As he landed, he thought he briefly saw a shape in the mist.

It looked like a person, someone of muscular build, wearing what looked like a long skirt. They also had some kind of weird hat. It looked triangular. There was also a scraping sound briefly as they were pulling what looked like luggage. He didn't pay much mind.

Must be an anime convention here. He thought.

Once he landed, he changed into his human form and decided to head to the road.

As he got out, to his shock, the mist was gone.

What…? He thought.

He took a few steps further, looking around.

He scratched the back of his head.

"C student or not, I know mists don't just disappear. Did I see things?" He asked himself.

He shrugged, deciding weird weather was not worth his time. He walked in the direction of Silent Hill, not knowing what he was going to see.

Special thanks to Flower Princess11 for helping me on this.

You read that right, Silent Hill. I'm keeping the age rating T to be safe for now.

This won't be a 100% horror fest like a usual Silent Hill game, since Danny's not what a typical SH protagonist is like, namely having superpowers.

Most of it is to build up him fighting Pyramid Head.

This is also just for fun.
