Preface: Void of Infinite Options
Beginning of the Multiverse - 2016-2022
At the start of the multiverse there was nothing and then there was something. Something that transforms into an infinite amount of possibilities. It can be described as the first light to exist in the center of the void of space. Everything is outstretched from the one point in the center. Some would consider it the center of the universe, but it would be more accurately known as the center of everything. This point is the beginning of all. Beginning of time, space, and all multiverses. Perhaps it could be described as a tree? Infinite branches that sprout from a major timeline called "One" or the "Main Timeline" as if that branch is the truth and all other branches are things that are not supposed to happen. But that isn't true either. There are multiple "One"s out there. Maybe then it would be better to describe it as a web where light connects each period as strings? A labyrinth where there are twelve main paths instead of one. These twelve that are separate universes similar to each other but not quite connected as to form a multiverse.
No, that's not right either. Allow me to start over.
In the beginning, there was nothing, and then there was a singular light. That light split into eighteen lights. And those eighteen lights, or eighteen universes contained within a multiverse, split into strands, or branches. Eventually, six of these universes were erased from the webs of time, leaving the twelve universes of which we know from Super. Yes, I think we can follow more easily in noting the similarities to what we may already know.
These universes are connected in a sort of bubble between hundreds of thousands of millions of versions of the same thing. All branched through time. We know of the seventh universe. The universe of our protagonist Goku through Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super. Well, you know how it wouldn't make sense for both GT and Super to occur? It's simple really, the universe 7 is simply split between time space due to the butterfly effect. In one, Beerus the Destroyer awakes, and in the other he doesn't. Or something to that affect.
It gets complicated when time travel is involved, but basically when one multiverse interacts with another, it creates a web link. A worm hole that connects them together.
These are just details. An introduction. An explanation.
There is a particular Universe 7 we will be exploring now. A "One" of which branches parallel to GT. The story of Dragon Ball AS splits as one instance allowed more saiyans to survive the destruction of Planet Vegeta. Six saiyans escaped from their home planet in search of refuge and happened upon the peaceful planet of Earth. They'd settle and have children. Until they are found and wiped out where all but one are killed. This singular survivor is our new protagonist. This singular girl who grows unknowing of her heritage and her connections to the world she grew in.
