So its actually been quite a long time since I originally posted this story, and honestly this has always been something more to share with friends than post, and way back when I posted this in 2009, it didn't get a lot of traction. That said, there seems to be some renewed interest in it as of late, so I decided to repost it to this new Story.

Now that I'm posting it again, I do want to be clear about this story. While it takes place in the settings of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, it is extraordinarily AU, with major systems, powers, and backstories reimagined to fit with the plot I had in mind. This includes changes to the Main Cast, including the renaming of the character known as Yuuno as Lance, since while he is immensely important to the story and has the same general design and abilities, he is in many ways much different than the OC, and so his name was changed to reflect that. The titular character of Nanoha also has a completely different backstory, but it was needed in order to allow the plot to evolve properly, and so while she is definitely a main character, she is not the only, as well as not the central main character, who is revealed a few chapters in, but you will have to read further into it to find out. While I admit its derivative of the original work, it is a completely different beast, and so I hope that you will give it several chapters to try and capture your attention, as I don't believe that one can fully grasp this story without getting at least a few in (as I've been told by the various people who have read this.)

Now for the changes. As I said, this was originally a story that I posted 13 years ago in 2009, and something that I started working on while I was in middle school. Obviously, that's a lot of time to both learn new things, and improve on those that you already may know. In line with that, I feel that over that time, I've probably improved immensely as a writer and more solidly found a style that I can call my own. As such, in many ways, including stylistically, grammatically, and tone wise, there are what I would call vast changes to the current version of this story compared to the original, and that is before the new plot points and corrections that were made. Because of that, I'm leaving the original alone, which you can still find on my profile page, and instead uploading this as a fresh new story.

And as a last point, something that I wish to share with all those who are kind enough to take interest in this story, I wish to give some good news. I am an avid fanfiction reader (currently on a Boku no Hero Academia kick, especially since I've found some of the best crossover fanfics there recently), but there is always one thing that as an avid fanfic reader can always drive me up a wall, as I'm sure it does to other, and that is falling in love with a story, only for it to stall out and never be finished. This of course is not a gripe against other authors, for I know how hard it is to write, as well as what its like to have life and other circumstances get in the way, and so I'm sure when this occurs there are good reasons we the readers are never privy too, and that's alright. That having been said, the promise that I make right now, a guarantee, is that this story WILL be completed, 100%, no compromises. Now as anyone who has ever written a story of any true substance or length will tell you, that is a lofty goal, and one that shouldn't be so casually stated, and so to you, I will reveal the reason that I can, after all that, still make this guarantee, and it is for the simple reason that this story, which was started over a decade ago, has already been completed, in its entirety. Thus the only thing holding me back is simple final editing's of the chapters in order to post them here, which are simple things to be sure, but important. I will always want to double check spelling and grammar, though I know that I'll never get it perfect 100%, as well as for the fact as this was originally passed around as a word doc, there are some stylistic aspects such as font size changes and additional symbols and characters that I know don't translate to the sites formatting well, and so I will take my time to make sure they are put up in a format that I and hopefully my readers will be happy with, and so I'll be uploading it one or two chapters at a time after the initial upload. That said, my final promise to you will be that, if at any point I find this process too cumbersome or complicated, or lose motivation, that I will simply dump post the raw finished version of all as of yet unreleased chapters so that this story can get that coveted "completed" marking and so that you who dare to trudge through this epic may find a conclusion.

Sorry for the long winded preamble before the story begins, but I felt that it was important to give history and context before people really dove in, and so I thank you for your patience, ask for your attention and hopefully grab your interest (and hopefully your reviews) as, after more than a decade, we begin the journey again…
