Hey, everyone it's October 2022 and starting right now this right here will be a Halloween special for this month. I've been wanting to do this for a long while now and because of so, I'm gonna try and finish this story before the month ends so that'll probably be one reason I haven't updated my other stories yet.

So I hope you like it, and I hope it gives you a bit of chills.

I'd recommend not reading this in the dark or at night either though.

Chapter 1 Batsquatch

A camera flicks on and as of the moment we see a veteran hunter by the name of Earl Garcia filming himself doing his own nature channel trying to track down a decent sized buck. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much luck.

We see the middle-aged man filming the area showing the dense woods around him. " Well, so far folks as you can all see. Nothing has been around here. It's almost like all the critters here decided to high tail it outta here. "

With a sigh he picks up his rifle. " Eh, hell with it. I'll call it a day and I'll see you all to- " As he was about to turn of the camera a loud whoosh was heard sounding like wings that drew Earl's attention as he grabbed his rifle but then something caught his eye. " Huh? What? "

Curious he goes over to whatever he was looking at and in a tree he aimed his camera to show what he just spotted. It was a twelve-point buck, or rather the remains of one with it's head hanging from a few loose branches that were caught on it's antlers.

" Holy crap...I've never seen this before... " He walks over to get a closer look glancing down at the ground to see there was blood continuing to drip down onto the dirt. " This is fresh...like really fresh. The hell could've done this? "

Suddenly, the sound of a branch snapping caught his attention, causing him to whip around; he looked around, but saw that no one was there.

" Hello? Is someone there? " Another branch snapped, but where it came from, he couldn't tell; Earl turned left and right to see if he could find the source of the sound, "Hello! Whoever's out there, this isn't funny! " Though he tried to remain calm, he had the distinct feeling that someone was watching him.

" You know what? Screw it, I'm out of here-" A shadow suddenly flew right past him. He looked up, but whatever flew by, vanished before he could get a good look at it. " What the hell was that?! "

Out of nowhere a loud powerful roar was heard, causing Earl to stumble back a bit, dropping the camera in the process. Not wasting anytime, he sprung back up to his feet and made a run for it. As he did, and with the camera still rolling we see a brief glimpse of a large shadow passing by. In only just a few mere moments Earl's screams were heard mixed with the same roar he heard from earlier along with the sound of bones snapping

Batsquatch

On January 25th 2012 honorably discharged marine Orian Casper and his younger brother Simon go onto a fishing trip to make up for lost time after Orian returned back home. However, little did they know that simple trip alone became a test of survival. These are their tapes.

5:35 A.M

We see a camera turn on showing Orian smiling at the camera which was in the back of his jeep. " Alright, beginning of awesome fishing trip. Along with little bro Simon~! " Simon pops into view waving at the camera with a wide smile.

" Hey-ho! " The former marine chuckled at that and turns around filming his brother loading up some equipment.

" So you ready to catch some fish little bro? "

" Oh yeah. I'm ready. " Simon replies giving Orian a fist bump as he loads up the fishing rods.

" Let's roll! " Orian cried out as he turned the camera off.

7: 50 A.M

We see the camera turn back on which shows the jeep pulling up a local bait shop parking right infront of it. " I can't believe we forgot the worms. " Simon said with a sigh. " I'm sorry dude. That's my bad. "

" Don't worry about it man. " Orian told his little brother. " Mistakes happen all the time. Besides, I needed more line for the rods anyways. "

They enter the shop and stock up on the necessary supplies that were needed and went up to the register that had an older gentleman behind it raising an eyebrow. " What's with the camera? " He asked pointing at it.

" Oh this? I haven't been with my brother for a while, I just recently been discharged. This is just a little something to make up for lost time. "

" Oh really? Well thank you for your service. "

" Thank you. " Orian appreciated what was heard and they watched as the clerk scanned their items. " So what you boy's up to? Gonna do some fishin? "

" Yes sir. Spending the weekend up at our granddads old cabin."

" Well alright. You from around here? "

" Next town over. Also I got another question, the cabin is right around this lake but we're having a hard time finding. Would possibly give us some directions? "

Orian rolls up out a map and since Simon was holding the camera he watched as the clerk marked the map with a little pen. " You'll find it right about here, as your going down the road five miles from here there'll be a right turn and it'll take you where you want to go. "

" Thank you sir. " " Yeah, thanks a lot. "

" My pleasure. " Suddenly the clerk gave them a serious look. " But, a little bit of warning boy's. There's been a lot of weird things happening in those woods in the last three months. Just last week a local boy disappeared in the woods. So you both tred carefully you hear? " " Will do. " Orian answered as the camera shifted over to Simon who looked a bit freaked out as they exited the shop.

Most of us know the iconic cryptid Bigfoot or Saquatch, whatever you want to call it.

Known all over the world, it goes by many names, this applies to America as well engraved in many native tribe legends and folklores for hundreds & even thousands of years. They're stories are still engraved into today's modern world.

But this one also sticks out, because this is literally a supposed bigfoot with wings. While there have been accounts of flying humanoids over the years, this story defiantly sticks out.

The first documented encounter of Batsquatch began in the Ro Grande Valley of Texas.

On January 14, 1976 when a man named Armando Grimaldo was attacked by a creature out in his front yard. He claimed it had simian and bat like features with leathery wings. Afterwards reports began to pour in. Many first depicted it as a bird, but over time it's true look came into the light.

When people hear about this thing, they think 'oh so it's a 'flying monkey?' No, this thing would make a flying monkey from the Wizard of Ozz look like Curious George.

8: 40 A.M.

As Orian drove, he noticed Simon looking out the window. " You've been quiet for a while. Something on your mind? " "

Hmm? Oh, nothing, it's just, that clerk was kind of creepy." The younger brother replied, " What do you think he meant when he said something weirds been happening?"

" Don't know, maybe just some animal attacks. But still, going missing, it's easy to get lost around here if you're not prepared. "

It was then that he noticed something ahead; it was a park ranger's cruiser and a cruiser from the Sherriff's department. Seeing the oncoming vehicle, one of the officers motioned for Orian to stop.

As he pulled by, Orian rolled down the window and asked, " Something wrong, officer? " One of the officers approached the truck.

" Something like that. You boys from around here? "

" Um...no actually. "

" License and registration please? " Orian passes him what the officer requested and examines it closely. " From out of state I see. What brings you both here? "

" We're just going fishing up by our granddads old cabin. I just got recently discharged and I'm just looking forward to spending time with my brother. "

"Well, thank you for your services, but I'm afraid you boys came at a bad time." The officer stated grimly This made Simon frown a bit.

"Did, something happen? "

The officer shifted a bit, almost as if disturbed, "Well, a boy went missing a week ago in these woods and, well... let's put it this way... he's not missing anymore. At least, what's left of him." He turned around; the brothers followed his gaze, just in time to see a few paramedics rolling a body bag to an ambulance.

" Jesus Christ, what happened? " Orian asked, unable to imagine what happened. " Hard to say, a hunter found him two hours ago. Animal attacks aren't uncommon, but I've never seen anything like this. "

" Was it a bear attack or something? " Simon asked out of curiosity. " Hard to say. We've yet to find out that answer for ourselves. " The officer proceeds to pass Orian back his stuff. " Look, I'm not trying to scare you two off or nothing, but just be careful, ok? That's all I'm asking. "

" We will do just that officer. I swear we will. "

The officer nodded his head in approval. " Alright. Carry on fella's. " With the signal given they continued driving off while Simon took the camera looking back at the ambulance over the seats and back before sitting back down.

" Holy crap that was ominous... " Simon breathed out.

As they drove, neither brother noticed a shadow in the trees, as one of the cruisers' cameras caught footage of something following the truck. But only briefly.

9:20 A.M

"And here we are! Granddad's cabin!" Orian announced as he parked his truck and got out. In the frame was a nice sized cabin that overlooked a beach next to the lake; the rays of the sun reflecting it's shimmering image.

"Yeah... look, let's not worry about it. We're not too far from the cabin." Orian wanted to be optimistic, despite what he saw. He just wanted to spend time with his brother and not worry about bears, wolves ,mountain lions, or whatever was roaming around.

" This is it? " Simon asked sounding a bit confused. " What year was this built? " " About somewhere in 1977. " Orian replied back as they exited out of the jeep closing the door behind him. " At least that's what granddad told me. I tell ya though, it's been years since I've been up here. Hardly anything about it has changed at all. "

" When was the last time you were here? " " It was before I enrolled into the military. Before I got shipped out I spent one last week with granddad here. You were only about 8 around that time. "

" You don't say. " Simon replied back as he moved the camera around glancing at the woods surrounding them. " This place is nice but were really way out here. " He proceeds to bring out his phone and showed the camera that he had no bars. " And no service either. That's nice to know. "

" Don't worry about it, you need to get back to nature. You'll be fine for a few days without internet. " Orian patted his brother on the shoulder. "

" Come on, I'll show you the inside." As he approached the front door... he notices that something was off; the door was slightly ajar. Not only that, but there were also scratch marks on the front.

The former Marine motioned for his brother to remain where he was as he slowly approached. As he got to the door, he hesitated for a bit; dread beginning to creep its way through his body. Taking out a survival knife, he took a deep breath... then quickly opened the door.

Something quickly ran pasted him, causing him and his brother to scream! Only to see it was a possum as it ran straight for the woods

" Oh come on! " Saimon groaned while Orian sighed in relief. " Is this what you had in mind about getting back into nature? " " No. Bro listen, I'm gonna check the cabin just to be sure nothing else is around. You just start bringing out the stuff ok? " " Alright. "

10:30. A.M

The camera turns on and Simon films the forest around them as they walking down a trail. Simon continued to film while Orian was paddling the boat they were on getting to the middle of the lake, but making sure they weren't to far away from shore. They'd just finished setting up the cabin and Orian made sure they didn't have any other visitors. So this meant now they could start fishing.

" Geez, dude. These woods are thick! " Simon commented as he glanced around holding the camera showing their surroundings. " That's for sure. We haven't seen anybody else. " Orian replied back. " Then, again there could be a couple hermits living around here somewhere. "

" Or old prospectors protectin' their gold from us whippersnappers. " Simon said in a western tone imitating an old man making them both laugh. Orian then stopped paddling and dropped a small anchor. " Ok, this look's like a good spot. "

" You sure there's fish here? "

" Oh yeah. I caught my first fish here when I was a little myself. " Orian replied as he started attaching bait to his pole." A big one too. Bigger then my arm. "

Simon mused, "So you say, bet I can get a bigger one though." "In your dreams." Orian nudged him. The two began to laugh as they continued their trip; despite the scratch marks on the front door, nothing seemed to be out of place back at the cabin.

Sure, there was a mess here and there, but that could've just been the possum. Still, a critter that small couldn't have made marks like that on the door... it was then that a loud roar echoed through the air, causing some birds to fly away in fright. The two stood up on the boat and looked around. "What the hell was that?!" Simon exclaimed; his breath shortened.

" I don't know. But I don't like it either. " Orian said as he proceeded to rush over to the jeep opening the back seat pulling out a CZ 612 pump action shotgun.

" Whoa! Dude where'd you get that thing? "

" Brought it along with me for the trip. You never know. " Orian replied back closing the door and walked back to his brother. " There's also an M11 in the glove department too. "

" What do want us to do? "

" I say wait it out for a few and if nothing else happens we can cook up whatever we caught. "

Orian noticed his brothers troubled expression putting a hand on his shoulder trying to put him at ease. " Relax, you're with me. You'll be fine. " They proceed to walk inside the cabin

In April 1994, Brian Canfield was driving in Washington's Pierce County when his truck suddenly died. Canfield said a large creature landed in front of him. He said it was human-like, 9 ft tall with batlike wings and also sported a coat of blue fur. Ever since then it has not been seen and skeptics dismissed it as a hoax. Over the years though, the reports continued piling in.

Like for example, in 2009 in Washington state. Hikers on Mt. Shasta in northern California purportedly were frightened to see a flying humanoid with a bat-like face come flying out of a cave on the mountainside.

Another encounter included a family's brush with Batsquatch in Missouri in 2015 which was posted in several local newspapers including the Phelps County Focus.

The incident was even reported to MUFON who investigated the encounter.

They were driving down a dirt road, headed to the Blue Spring Trailhead in Shannon County Missouri, when the mother spotted the creature. When interviewed by MUFON investigator Dr. Emmett Reary and Gary Hart, the woman described the creature as a winged entity seven to eight feet tall with leathery wings from its shoulders to the ground, black in color with pointed ears on a triangular head and yellow eyes that made her feel very uncomfortable.

4:55 P.M.

The two brothers had just finished eating their dinner.

Every now and then, Orian would walk to the windows and make sure nothing was outside; there was a plethora of wildlife that roamed around, but he knew how to deal with the more dangerous animals.

He saw nothing each time, but he had the distinct feeling something was out there... watching and waiting. He shook away the feeling as he began to clean the dishes. "Hey, bro... did... did anything like this happen when you and granddad went camping?" Simon asked nervously.

" What you mean the animal attacks? Sure, every now and then. " Orian replied back. " But you know, granddad always told me a bunch of interesting stories when he was growing up. "

" Oh yeah? " Simon set the camera onto the table setting it down so it could film them both. " What was he like? "

" You don't remember too much about him huh? "

" No. "

Orian chuckled, "Yeah, you were pretty little. You wouldn't think a man his age would be a good hunter." He sat down at the table as he continued, "He taught me how to start a fire, use a bow and arrows, and how to better prepare fish." "Man, wish I knew him better." Simon mused.

Orian chuckled, "Yeah, you were pretty little. You wouldn't think a man his age would be a good hunter." He sat down at the table as he continued, "He taught me how to start a fire, use a bow and arrows, and how to better prepare fish."

"Man, wish I knew him better." Simon mused. " He was a really good guy. Very stern, but he meant well. " " So what stories did he tell you about? " " Some about him during his service in Vietnam, other times just funny ones with his friends back in the day. " Orian paused for a moment. " But, there was always one that stood out. " " Stood out? " Simon was confused. " Stood out...how? "

" Because I tried asking him about it for years. But he wouldn't budge. Then when I was sixteen, he finally told me. "

" You gotta bear in mind. It took a lot of convincing to get him to tell me about it. And it was for a good reason, because he was scared of it. It takes a lot to scare a man who's been the line of battle. He said to me, what happened that day was the scariest thing that happened before going to Nam. "

" What was it? " " It happened back when he was about 15, he and older relatives used to own a farm about twenty miles west of here. It was about a 100 acer farm, a lot of land. Recently around that time, something had been taking their livestock. They were loosing cattle. "

"What was it?" Simon asked "Don't know. But apparently, whatever it was, it was able to lift fully grown steers. Granddad said that had to make a fence to keep out what it was." Orian shifted a bit. "That didn't work out, one day, they say that part of the fence was broken... and there was blood everywhere."

Orian stretched his arms. " It was...it was like somebody put that thing in a wood chipper. " Simon winched at that. " Whoa...What happened next? Did the killings ever stop? "

" For a while. " Orian answered back. " But then, one night something damaged the house. "

" Damaged the house? How? " " According to him, there was a large rock in the backyard and this thing was thrown up against the side of the house leaving a huge dent. He said that rock weighed at least two tons. It'd take a while to move something that big back then.

They no idea how that happened. " Orian paused for a moment trying to remember the story he was told. " Then...two weeks later his parents went out into town and he was in charge of looking after his siblings. "

Simon was beginning to feel creeped out, but kept calm as he asked, "What happened after that?" Orian shook his head, "I don't know, he always stopped right when he-"

CRASH!

It was then that a loud crash was heard from outside.

The brothers looked at the front of the cabin. Orian looked to his younger brother, " You heard that too? " Simon nodded, " Yeah..."

CRASH!

Another crash was heard, this time closer to the cabin. There was something out there! The two quickly made their way to the front door and looked out the window; they didn't see anything out of the ordinary. It was then that the two jumped as another crash was heard... this time on the roof!

" What the hell!? "

" Get down under the table! " Orian instructed motioning his little brother to the said piece of furniture while the former marine grabbed the shotgun making sure it was loaded.

The elder brother slowly made his way to the front door, keeping low to the floor in case anything appeared near the windows. As he moved, he could faintly make out the sounds of scraping and scratching along the roof; almost as if whatever was there was moving around.

As he reached the front door, he slowly opened it and snuck outside. Adrenaline was pumping through his veins as he soundlessly hopped off the porch, then turned around and backed up. He didn't have to move back much when he spotted a dark figure atop the cabin.

What it was, he couldn't tell, but he could faintly make out the sounds of growling as whatever the creature was tried to find a way into the cabin. Though he was scared, the former Marine kept composed and took aim at the creature, but as soon as he loaded the gun... the creature whipped around and spotted him!

It let out a loud roar, forcing Orian to shoot at the creature; this seemed to merely irritate it as it jumped off the roof and lunged at him. Falling back, Orian reloaded his gun and fired another shot, this time, it seemed to have a better effect.

The creature swooped over the ex-Marine, who landed on his back, and flew passed him. Orian rolled around just in time to see the creature disappear into the woods.

" Holy shit! Bro! " Simon rushed over to Orian helping him up. " Orian! You alright!? " " Yeah, yeah I'm fine. " Orian replied back a little bit out of breath as he got back to his feet.

" The hell was that thing!? " " I don't know. " Orian answered shaking his head keeping his eyes focused on the tree line where the creature disappeared. " I do not know. " " Wh-What do we do? W-We gotta get out of here! "

" No! " Orian whipped his head back turning to his brother. " Right now, whatever that was, has the homefield advantage and it's dark right now. We gotta stay bunkered here for the night. "

"Are you crazy?! What if that thing comes back?!" Simon shouted, when he realized something." Hey, your jeep has a two-way radio, right? "

Orian looked quizzically at his brother, " Yeah, why? "

He questioned, when he realized they could radio for help. Running to the vehicle, the older brother put on a frequency, " Mayday, mayday, this is Orian Casper, we're in need of assistance, do you copy? Over! "

All he got back was static much to Orian's irritation while Simon groaned not liking this one bit. " I'm not getting anything. "

" Well c'mon we gotta get out of here! "

It was then that a miracle happed, static gave way to a female's voice, " Come in, I repeat, come in! Over. This is the sheriff, what is the situation? Over. " This was a huge relief for the brothers as Orian answered,

" Come in, sheriff, this is Orian Casper, I'm here with my brother, Simon. Over. There's something out here! Over."

" What is it? And what's your location? Over "

" We're at the cabin by the late. Something attacked us! We don't know what it was! We scared it back to the woods, but it might come back! Over. "

" By the lake? Damn, it might be a while before we can get there, we're about thirty miles on the opposite side, it might be a while before we can reach you. Listen, it's getting dark, don't try and travel. Get back inside and barricade the doors and windows. It'll be some hours before we can reach you, but I need you to remain inside. Over. "

" Roger that. " Orian replied back. " Please, hurry as soon as you can. Over. "

" Just hang tight, were on our way now. " The sheriff replied on the other end of the line. Orian put the radio back into place and passed him the shotgun. " Hold this. " Orian quickly reached over to the glove department and pulled out the M11 pistol he had stashed into there. Once he had it, Orian closed the door and traded the pistol to his younger brother. " What? Bro you can't be serious we gotta get out of here! "

" I know, I know. But right now, we got hold the fort. " They start making their way back to the cabin. When they did, the brothers heard the roar making them whip around to where the sound was coming from. Not wasting anytime, they quickly rushed back to the cabin with the older brother slamming it shut and locked the door.

8:30 PM.

After barricading every opening, the brothers hid in one of the bedrooms; both on their toes, waiting for help to arrive. As the hours went by, everything became eerily quite, no birds, no crickets, nothing.

It was as if everything in the woods was afraid of something, not that the brother could blame them. Whatever was out there, it wasn't going away for a good long time and it was hunting them like a silent predator.

" It's too quiet out there, I don't like it. " Simon whispered. He wasn't sure if talking out loud would attract the creature, but he didn't want to take the chance.

" Me neither, but take it from me, we may have scared it away; it's still out there, waiting for us. " Orian whispered back. All he wanted was to spend time with his brother and not worry about danger right after he had been discharged. But now, he was once again fighting not for just his life, but the life of his little brother.

He was gonna try do everything he could to get him out of there. However, one part of him felt that maybe there was the light chance of one of them not making it. If so then he'd be the one to take it, but even if he did, his little brother would still be in danger. He had to survive this, somehow.

Suddenly a loud whoosh was heard. It was then that something filled the air, something both the brothers began to dread; a loud roar echoed through the night. The creature was back!

" Keep low to the ground! " Orian hissed as he pushed his brother to the floor. Another whoosh was heard as the creature slammed into the side of the cabin; thankfully, it was the opposite side.

Orian's grip on his shotgun tightened aiming it at the direction where the slam was heard. Not wasting anytime, he put a finger up against his lips telling Simon to keep quiet. The two brothers sat in silence keeping still and keeping their breathing controlled as much as possible.

Outside they could hear heavy breathing and footsteps from outside of the cabin's walkways as Simon continued filming.

Simon, pointed the camera towards the barricaded window, just in time to catch a glimpse of a shadowy figure walking by; the brothers crawled under the bed as the figure stopped. They made sure no part of their bodies were exposed... when a loud thud came from the window!

The creature was trying to break in! The two held their breath when, after a few thuds, whatever was blocking the window ended up on the floor. To the horror of the brothers, a heavy mass walked onto the bed, then, a pair of clawed feet stomped onto the floor; both legs covered in a greyish fur.

The odor it emitted was downright awful, but the two kept quiet as the creature looked around the room, then trudged into the hallway.

After it was gone, Simon pointed the camera to Orian, who motioned him to crawl out. Slowly and quietly, the brothers got up and seeing as trying to escape to the front door was out of the question, made their way out from where the creature had forced its way in.

Being careful not to alert the creature of their presence, Orian placed a sheet over the broken glass, allowing him and Simon to sneak down the walkway. Unfortunately, a piece of place gave way, and broke loudly. Hearing a roar from within the cabin, both brothers ran and hid beside Orian's jeep. It was here that the creature broke its way through the front door. As Simon peeked over, it allowed him a good look at what was attacking them.

This creature was big, freakin massive. It looked almost human but it wasn't. Standing at least nine to ten feet tall, wide broad shoulders, big arms, covered in dark grayish black hair, intimidating glowing red eyes and that was only one thing that made it scary. On it's back were two massive bat like wings!

It seemed to be looking around smelling the air and quickly Orian grabbed Simon by the back of the collar dragging him back down so he wouldn't get spotted just before it spot him.

Orian slowly reached beside him grabbing a rock listening to the creature heavily breath as it walked around. Putting the rock on his lap, the former marine pointed to the rock motioning it to distance before quickly pointing to himself and Simon and to the jeep.

Simon understood where he was coming from and quickly nodded his head causing the camera to shake as well.

Slowly he lifted up the rock getting a firm grip on it. Quickly he stood up and threw the rock at the cabin. By chance it had managed to break a window making the creature roar as it darted back inside of the cabin.

Slowly and carefully, both brothers got into the jeep keeping quiet as they could opening the doors and slowly closing them doing their best not to make to much noise.

Orian reached into his pocket bringing out the keys and put it into the ignition starting up the vehicle. From behind they heard the creature roar, meaning it now knew where they were.

" Come on! Go, go! Drive! " Simon yelled out. " Fucking drive! Go! " The little brother cried out on top of his lungs while Orian backed up quickly turning themselves around and sped off.

Meanwhile right behind them, Simon turned around and saw the creature's silhouette, and saw it spread out it's wings roaring out as it took to the air.

As they sped down the road, the creature flew alongside the jeep; bumping into it violently as it tried to get it off the road. Unwilling to allow his brother to be hurt, Orian stopped the jeep before it could be collided against.

As the creature flew ahead, the older brother took aim with his shot gun and shot at the flying beast. As he tried to shoot at the monster, Orian was briefly distracted, when... " ORIAN! LOOK OUT! " Simon shouted as the jeep collided with a tree.

The feed suddenly died for a brief moment before coming back on, a crack visible on the corner of the camera's lens. Simon groaned a bit, his forehead bleeding a bit. He looked up and saw that the front of the jeep was totaled from the collision. Though he sounded as though he were in pain, he turned to his brother in the driver's seat. Though he looked in worse shape, his breathing signified he was still alive.

Despite the pain he felt, Simon willed himself out of his seat and wobblily made his way to the driver's seat. He had some trouble, but he managed to open the door and undo Orion's seatbelt. It was then that he heard a loud thud. Spinning around, he saw that the creature had caught up and was staring them down!

Scared, but unwilling to leave Orian, Simon saw his older brother's gun and picked it up as the snarling beast slowly stomped towards them. "Well, come on! You want some, come and get it!" The younger brother shouted in defiance to his fate. The beast was just about to pounce... when the sounds of sirens filled the air.

The creature turned around facing the headlights of the incoming police cars and roared out louder then before. Enough to make Simon drop the camera covering his ears as it echoed throughout the entire holler and watched as it jumped up taking into the air.

Both brothers were taken to the hospital the next morning and treated for their injures. Simon only got minor bruises, while Orian sustained more injury from the crash. However, made a quick recovery. Local authorities made an extensive search of the area, but even though they found the cabin in disarray; they could find no sign of the creature.

Orian would go one to become a park ranger, while Simon became a paranormal investigator to try and understand what he saw that night.

Since then, the cabin was sold off and neither one have not returned to the area ever since, nor has the creature been seen again. To this day, the sheriff's department have no answer for what had happened, but the incident was coincidently similar to the brother's grandfather's story. Although there's a continued debate on strange creatures like the Batsquatch, that most think isn't real, But are they just that? Only stories... or does it live among us?

Footage of the creature lunging at a camera is shone one last time.
