WELCOME TO ANOTHER BLUE BLOODS FAN FIC! This one's a little different then others I've done and read. This story's main character focus is Joe Hill! I've grown a love for him as we got to see more and more of him in the show! This is going to solely based on his love life more then anything. Of course have the rest of the family included here and there with different things but this is mainly about him, finding love in this crazy new world of his.

Saturday night

Joe had met a girl online a couple weeks back and they planned to meet up at a bar a couple blocks away from his place.

He ordered a beer while he waited. He didn't know much about this girl, she was nice though, and pretty in her picture, her name was Taylor. They've been texting back and forth for the last 2 weeks and finally found a night they could meet up.

15 minutes went by and still no Taylor. He told himself he'd give it another 15 minutes and if she didn't show up he was leaving.

"Bartender, check please?" Joe called out after seeing another 15 minutes had passed.

"You got it." He said and went to the computer.

After Joe payed he headed out, scoping around one last time to see if she maybe snuck in without seeing him.

He went out the doors and held it for a couple girls coming in. None of them were Taylor, two were blonde and the other red headed. Taylor had brown hair.

"Thank you!" They said, he glanced up at them but wanted to keep walking, he was mad he wasted his time and got stood up.

"Hey." The one said giving him a look of interest. Joe got caught staring at her. She was beautiful, blonde hair, and had green eyes that were going to be impossible to forget.

"Hey." He said back, off guard a little.

"Are you leaving?" She asked.

"I am." He said clearing his throat.

"Oh well wanna get a drink with us?" She still offered.

"Uh actually got stood up so I'm not in the best mood." He told her, instantly regretting the extra information. She was gonna think he was weird or something was wrong with him now.

"Well she's dumb. I'll give you my number. Call me when your in a better mood." She was very flirty and wrote her number on his arm with her name. He looked at it when she was done and smiled at her.

"Alright Kelsey. Will do." He said and then they went there separate ways. Joe was in a good mood now. He didn't really care about being stood up anymore. He was looking forward to this Kelsey girl.

——

Just as Joe got to his apartment building, Taylor called.

"Damn." He said to himself. He didn't know what he'd say, he figured she was calling to apologize so he answered it.

"Hey." He said.

"Hey didn't you get my message?" She asked. Joe looked through his phone. He felt like an idiot, she texted him an hour ago saying she was held up at work and asked about a rescheduling.

"I didn't until just now, sorry."

"That's okay. I didn't know if you were mad at me or-"

"No of course not. I mean not gonna lie I waited at the bar for about a half hour but it's all good."

"Oh no I'm sorry!" She was very sincere.

"It's okay. Really." Joe made sure she knew that.

"Well are you still there?" She wondered.

"No I just got back to my place actually."

"Oh…well…I just got out of work…maybe I could come over?" She offered.

"Uh yeah. Yeah sure, only if you feel up to it. That could be fun." Joe was all about it.

"I wanna make it up to you. Send me your address I'll be there."

"Alright." Joe was happy, they hung up and he send her his address, then he practically ran up to his apartment to clean up a little.

——

20 minutes later he buzzed Taylor up. She was in a short leather skirt, black heels and a red halter top. She had dark brown eyes and long brown hair. She was smaller then Joe thought, skinny and short.

"Hi." She said with a pretty smile.

"Hey, come in." He opened the door fully and then closed it behind her. She set her purse down on the table.

"Want a glass of wine?" He offered going into the cabinet.

"Sure." She said slipping off her heels.

"Red or white?"

"Definitely red." She answered. Joe poured each of them a glass and they sat down on the couch. They talked about all kinds of stuff, she rambled a while about her job and how stressful it was sometimes. Joe told her his job and talked about that a little, answered all her questions. She was very interested in it.

Before they knew it they had drank an entire bottle of wine, they were having such a good time, and laughing at everything. They were both a little drunk.

"Wanna hear a secret?" She asked laughing.

"Of course." Joe said laughing back. She leaned in to his ear and said

"I wanna have sex with you." She started laughing again when she backed away.

"Ha uh Taylor I don't know, your kinda drunk and I'm a little drunk-" he was interrupted when she pounced on him with a kiss. He couldn't help himself much and joined in.

——

The next morning, Joe woke up in his bed naked, he looked over and saw Taylor sleeping beside him also naked.

"Oh shit." He said when he saw it was 8:30am. He snuck out of bed and put his pants on. He had some recollection of last night but it was fuzzy.

He went to make coffee, his head was pounding, he had one of the worst hangovers he's had in a while.

"Joe?" Taylor called out from the bed. He went around the corner to see her.

"I'm here."

"Did we?" She asked.

"We did." He said laughing. Taylor was embarrassed she didn't really remember much either.

"Sorry…" she said and got up to get dressed and leave.

"I made coffee if you want some." He said going back to the kitchen area. Leaving her to get dressed.

"That would be great actually. But I can't hang around I have to be at work in an hour, I need to shower…ugh." She was stressed out and trying to get going.

"No worries I got a to go cup here somewhere." He said looking through the cabinets. He filled it with coffee and put the lid on just in time to hand it to her at the door while she put her shoes on.

"Thank you!" She took it from him only to see the markings of Kelsey's name and number on his arm.

"What's that?" She asked. Joe looked at it, he started panicking, but tried to play it cool.

"Oh that? Nothing. Funny story… when I was at the bar last night this girl-"

"I thought you didn't date around?" She cut him off.

"I don't. She gave it to me as I was leaving."

"So did you say you were gonna call her?" She asked.

"I…don't…I don't remember." He said nonchalant.

"Sure. Alright." She opened the door to leave.

"Wait I seriously promise it's nothing, I didn't even put it in my phone yet!" Joe defended.

"Yet!?" Taylor pointed out.

"That's not what I meant. I had fun last night I'd like to do it again." He told her.

"Mhm." She left shutting the door behind her. Joe was a little tense with that conversation going downhill as fast as it did.

"Well fuck." He said to himself and went to pour a cup of coffee.

——

Later that day Joe went to church (he was late for obvious reasons) and then family dinner.

He got through the whole dinner without being asked about is lateness to church. But he wasn't out of the woods yet…he was on dish duty with Eddie.

"So I'm still really confused why can't we use the dishwasher?" He asked as he pushed his sleeves up and started filling the sink with water. The dirty dishes were piled a foot high already.

"Ha, they do. But if you see…" she opened the dishwasher to show him, it was already full.

"Geez." He laughed.

"I know, if you don't wanna wash I will, you can dry?" She offered.

"Nah it's all good." He said and got started, Eddie grabbed a towel and stood beside him waiting to start drying.

"Oh? Who's Kelsey?" Eddie asked smiling when she noticed the markings on his arm, clear to read yet but starting to wear.

"Oh that? That's nothing." Joe tried to scrub it off quick and cleared his throat, he did that when he was nervous. This was the second time Kelsey's name and number got him in trouble.

"Mhm…" Eddie smirked.

"What?" Joe started blushing but couldn't look at Eddie. He stayed focused.

"Oh my god, you really like her!?" She called him out.

"What? No. Why do you say that? I'm literally just washing dishes. How do you get that from this." Joe was trying to defend himself but getting more red in the face as he went on.

"Because your blushing."

"I think your just embarrassing me." He said.

"Okay fine. I'll stop." She said drying a casserole dish.

"Thank you." He said quickly trying to finish up the last couple plates. For a couple seconds it was silent, Joe enjoyed that. But it was Eddie and of course it didn't last long.

"Now that I think about it…you were late to mass this morning… maybe this Kelsey would know something about that?" she questioned. Joe was trying hard not to blush or smile.

"No that wasn't her name. I got this girls number earlier in the night." He defended.

"Woah woah wait. You got this Kelsey girls number but spent the night with a complete different girl?!" Eddie asked, Joe laughed.

"I plead the 5th." He said looking at her followed by shaking his head laughing. Eddies jaw dropped, she was shocked. She saw a lot of Jamie in Joe, he seemed like a saint, but she guessed wrong.
