Author's note. (Read this please, if you don't understand the premise of the story)
So, I have recently seen some misinterpretations of what exactly my story is meant to be about from my reviews. So, to give you a short summary, my story is set in an alternative universe where the SCP Foundation exists on Remnant, and the secrecy that the Foundation constantly tries to preserve, all crumbles down after a major incident.
The idea for my story was inspired after reading the "Broken Masquerade" canon, which is an official canon on the official SCP website. The premise of the "Broken Masquerade" canon is about the Foundation's veil of secrecy crashing down due to the Foundation accidentally making North Korea vanish, which results in the public finding out about the SCP Foundation and the true nature of the anomalous.
You can read about the "Broken Masquerade" canon or listen to it below.

Sorry, for the confusion. I could see how I made it ambiguous to people who haven't read/listened to the Broken Masquerade canon.
It was a normal day at Beacon Academy. Birds were chirping, students were constantly seen walking through the hallways.
It was lunchtime. Team RWBY was doing its usual thing: Weiss was studying for the upcoming exam, Ruby was goofing around while eating her cookies, Yang was trying to socialize with some other people, and Blake was of course reading her books.
Blake's ears perked at the comment that the television that she just heard, she lowered her book. Had she heard that right? No no, that can't be right.
Ruby had noticed that her friend was not reading her novel anymore and was staring into the abyss. She placed her head onto her hand, holding the weight of her head.
"Blake… Hello?" Ruby snapped her fingers in front of Blake, trying to divert attention away from whenever she was doing.
"Remnant to Blake, are you there?" Ruby said even louder this time.
"Ruby."
"Hmm?" Ruby replied back, slightly tilting her head.
"Do you have your scroll on you?" Blake asked, wanting to know if the other news sources and if social media were telling the same story.
Yang had come back from socializing with other students. She walked over to the team's dining table and puts an arm around Weiss and Ruby. The sudden arm wrap caused Ruby to make a very loud "Eeep!" sound and caused Ruby to flinch.
"Guess who just got team JNPR and team RWBY into a par-" She stopped mid-thru her sentence and turned her head to look at Blake, which in turn caused the rest of the team to stare at Blake as well.
Blake stared at Yang. The Faunus was on the verge of tears
Most people in the cafeteria didn't know what was currently happening in the world, as it was too loud for them to pay attention or that they were too occupied with something else. Blake, however, could hear the story that played over her head because she was a Faunus and in turn, she has more precise hearing.
Yang's facial expressions soften. "Hey, Blake what's wrong?" Her face clearly showed sympathy for whatever Blake was going through.
"The television," Blake stated with a little bit of hesitation. She pointed at the television with her index finger.
The rest of team RWBY straighten themselves and turn their heads towards the television, waiting for the newswoman to start to speak...
"The Kingdom of Mistral has observed that Menagerie has disappeared," The woman took a deep breath before she continued to speak.
Team RWY stared at the television for a few seconds, before turning to give Blake the look that one would give to a wounded puppy.
Blake tried to come out with every explanation in the book to deny the new news story. Maybe, it was Opzin was pulling a prank, then she remembered that last time when Yang pranked Opzin. She thought of another crazy theory, maybe Adam and the White Fang hacked Beacon's televisions to demoralize her and make her weak. After some critical thinking, she obviously crossed out the ladder theory.
Then she remembers. Yang's scroll.
Yang walks over to Blake and starts to hug Blake. "Blake, I am so-" before getting interrupted by Blake. "Give me your scroll." A plethora of droplets dropped from her cheeks, wetting her food immensely.
"What?"
"I said…" She paused. "give me your scroll…" The Faunus replied back, more tears dripped down her cheeks. Yang stops hugging Blake, unlocked her scroll, and threw it at the black-haired girl. Blake, with her instincts, immediately catches it and instantaneously checks every major news source and major social media.
She started to cry even more when she realized her worst reality was real. She continued to scroll and continued to see the same thing over and over.
Menagerie has disappeared, and the main perpetrator was…
The SCP Foundation
