Hello Readers!

Welcome to another story of mine. This will be Professor Tohsaka at Beacon Academy! Those of you that were waiting for the next entry into Professor Tohsaka, at Hogwarts, I am sorry. I am still in the process of writing Chapter Three. I have written, thrown and rewritten several drafts, but none of them came up to my standards of success. This story was a result of one of my drafts being repurposed.

This story will be slightly AU, introducing concepts from Fate that I believe fills in the gaps or explains things never fully explained in RWBY canon. There is NO AU Fusion in that Remnant is Earth's future after an apocalypse that erased all traces of prior Earth civilisation.

Any way, enough on the side notes.

Please enjoy, Professor Tohsaka at Beacon Academy!

Chapter One "Aura and Semblance 101"

"Oh, oh! I can't wait!" exclaimed Ruby as she struggled to contain her excitement to rush into the classroom of her next class with her Semblance. "Yang, Yang! Do you think that Professor Tohsaka would give me a discount on her company's 'Crystal' or 'Gem' Dust product line since I am her student?"

"Calm yourself, Sis." said Yang as she hugged her sister into her bosom to stop her younger sister running around. "I think you should be more worried about the Ice Queen as our team leader."

"What about Weiss...?" Ruby stopped speaking as she noticed the dark clouds floating above Weiss's head. "Oh, right... Schnee Dust Company's greatest competitor is Tohsaka Industries."

"Not just the SDC's (Schnee Dust Company) competitor, but its polar opposites," added Blake in approval while trying to stop her black bowtie on her head from twitching too much every time her fellow students and Beacon Academy staff mentioned Rin Tohsaka or Tohsaka Industries. "Tohsaka Industries truly deserves to overtake the SDC in my opinion." She subconsciously blurted out without thinking so much about the depressed Weiss. "They are what all companies should look up to as a high standard of ethical business model to emulate."

"Tohsaka Industries (TI) is not the model company that businesses should seek to copy!" snapped Weiss as if Blake's comments triggered something inside the Schnee heiress. She glared at Blake and screamed, "They support terrorist organisations like the White Fang! I bet the White Fang would have been eradicated by law enforcement three years ago when they had been on their last legs. The White Fang's destruction only stopped after the timely appearance of the Tohsaka Industries and somehow became stronger than ever after the TI started making huge 'donations' to the White Fang's cause."

"Those donations helped Fanus in need! Fanus that were being discriminated against by people and organizations such as the SDC!" Blake growled.

"Ah, guys," said Yang in an awkward tone. The two bickering girls turned their necks to stare at Yang. Blake and Weiss were about to speak up when Yang beat them to the punch. "You do realize that the White Fang splintered into two groups now? Two different groups that separated due to the liberal and moderate Fanus disagreeing with their radical and extremist counterparts."

"The Fanus Rights Advocacy Group (FRAG) is just a smokescreen to deceive the general public, which I grudgingly admit has been largely successful in swaying many to become Pro-Fanus in recent years since Tohsaka Industries started supporting them," said Weiss in a dismissive tone. "FRAG is a conspiracy that the White Fang created to cover their tracks while they regrouped and bided their time to gather their strength. Mark my words, I swear my name as a Schnee that the White Fang will cause a violent uprising across Remnant if they get the opportunity."

"Argh, what was I expecting from a Schnee!?" Blake growled. "There is no way a Schnee would ever understand the plight of the Fanus face. Discriminating, abusing and taking advantage of Fanus is in your very DNA."

Ruby and Yang were about to step in to intervene when another voice spoke up.

"Ladies, please calm down," said a young man as he approached Team RWBY. "You might have not noticed, but everyone is staring."

Blake and Weiss suddenly became aware of their surroundings and they blushed in embarrassment at the stares directed at them from the crowd that had formed around them during their loud bickering. The two girls glanced at each other's eyes before humphing and looking their other way.

"Is that you, Mister Emiya!?" shouted Ruby as she noticed the appearance of the young man. "Oh, oh!" She quickly dashed around the young man, staring at every part of him as she compared him to her role model. "You are definitely, Shirou Emiya! Can I get your signature please?"

"This is the Weapon Master?" asked Yang as she scrutinized the young man. "Oh, handsome..." She quickly walked up to the young man and gently pushed Ruby aside. "Do you have time for a date?"

"Hey, Yang!" snapped Ruby as she quickly appeared next to her older sister with her speed Semblance. "I got to him first, and Mister Emiya is basically married to Rin Tohsaka, but for some reason she never took his surname."

"I appreciate the offer," said Shirou with a warm smile, "but I will have to turn down any dates. My wife would kill me if I dated anyone..." He suddenly shuddered.

Yang frowned in displeasure and she was about to try again to ask Shirou out for a date when she suddenly remembered the horror stories of all the women that had tried to get to Shirou in the past. And what had happened to them after trying to snag Shirou for themselves. A certain Tohsaka being a suspected individual. She shuddered in fear and subconsciously backed away from Shirou.

He turned to Ruby and said, "My wife didn't take the customary surname of her husband because of certain family traditions that the Tosaka family practices. No firstborn Tohsaka son or daughter will ever abandon their family name."

"Oh! That's why she isn't Rin Emiya!" Ruby exclaimed as a light bulb lit up. "Mister Emiya, can I see your Weapon Creation Semblance in action please! I am a weapon enthusiast that loves all of your weapons. Your weapons are the pinnacle of classic cold weapons. Every weapon enthusiast wants to either touch or own any weapons you have created by hand or through your Semblance."

"You can touch a weapon of mine," chuckled Shirou as he summoned a pair of black and white sabers. "But, I cannot let you take them."

"Kanshou and Bakuya! Your most favorite and preferred weapons!" Ruby blurted out loudly in excitement. "Thank you for letting me touch them!" She started to hug the twin sabers and lost herself in her own little world while launching into a self-monologue.

Shirou watched Ruby for a while before returning his attention to the watching crowd around him.

"Freshmen students taking Aura and Semblance 101!" He addressed the people around him. "Please make your way down the hallway and head into the nearest atrium. Rin Tohsaka is ready to begin her lecture. She will be starting in a minute from now."

The crowd around him quickly started to disperse and those that were taking Rin's class quickly rushed into the nearby atrium.

Weiss and Blake refused to look at each other and Yang tried to mediate between the two girls while Ruby was lost in her own little world. Shirou snapped his fingers and Ruby whined as Kanshou and Bakuya disappeared into motes of light and she looked at Shirou with puppy eyes.

"You better hurry up," said Shirou as he made his way to the atrium. "Class is about to start."

Team RWBY were quickly the only people left in the hallway before Weiss and Blake grudgingly put aside their feelings. The girls quickly started to make their way to class.

- O -

"Oz, I think you should reconsider your decision to allow Rin Tohsaka to teach at Beacon," said Qrow in a serious tone. "My thorough background check on the young woman points that she is likely Salem's agent. Her 'official records' were all forged. It was so well done that it would have escaped the scrutiny of even the best background check specialist. I only noticed it was fake thanks to my prior experience of rooting out Salem's spies and saboteurs over the years."

"I disagree with your assessment," replied Ozpin as he drank his hot coffee while looking at the window to the building where Rin Tosaka just so happened to be teaching within several minutes. "It is true that Rin Tohsaka's records were forged. So meticulously that it might have even fooled me if I had been a regular human, instead of the immortal." He conceded to Qrow. "But, I assure you that Rin Tohsaka is not Salem's agent. I do not know why her official records were forged, but it has nothing to do with bringing about the extinction of humanity."

"What makes you so sure?" asked Qrow as he seriously considered getting drunk after learning all his hand work of months of investigation on Beacon's nearest teacher was so casually brushed aside by his boss.

"Our newest teacher, Professor Tohsaka, is someone that I have met only once and I don't have a good understanding about her personality and motives, but that isn't the same about her partner, Shirou Emiya." Ozpin took another sip of his hot coffee before continuing. "Mister Emiya is a shining beacon of what a Huntsman should be. He does everything in his powers and truly fights for humanity's survival against the Grimm while asking for nothing in return. All payments he receives are stubbornly turned down or donated to charitable causes."

"Assuming Shirou is truly the person that he portrays himself publicly, which I also find is likely his true self, that doesn't mean his partner, Rin is the same. Love can make people blind and irrational to the truth about their partners. For all we know, Rin could be Salem's agent and using Shirou as a smokescreen to hide her malicious intentions."

"I am certain that is not the case, and I have centuries of experience to hone my mind, but I am not infallible or Salem would have been taken down long ago." Ozpin grudgingly conceded. "Please find more information, and preferable irrefutable evidence that Rin Tohsaka is Salem's agent before bringing up this topic again."

"Fine," growled Qrow at how his opinion was being brushed aside. "I will dig around more for evidence to prove my point, but don't bring Rin into our inner circle until my investigation is complete."

"Agreed." Ozpin nodded. "Do you have anything else to report, Qrow?"

"Well," grumbled Qrow as he took out a large folder he had prepared for Ozpin from his coat and placed it at his boss's desk. "Rin Tohsaka and her company, Tohsaka Industries, is not as clean or perfect as many in the public believe. I found several instances of cover-ups of several suspicious and potentially illegal activities, but nothing too serious or egregious. It is after all impossible to grow and run a very large and influential company that employs tens of thousands without breaking a few rules or laws. The worst I have discovered is paying large compensations for mistakes Tohsaka Industries has made by some employee or someone in management. Nothing that has any connections to Rin Tohsaka."

"What about Tohsaka Industries connections with the White Fang?" asked Ozpin as he placed his hot coffee to the side and started to briefly scan through the large folder Qrow had made.

"The Tohsaka Industries had some dealings before the White Fang splintered into peaceful and moderate Fanus rights group, the Fanus Rights Advocacy Group, and the extremist terrorist organisation that should be called White Fang 2.0, but that all changed after the White Fang turned to terrorism under the leadership of Adam Taurus."

Ozpin sighed in relief at that news. The White Fang that now turned to terrorism greatly troubled Ozpin. Precious manpower, resources and his time was being misdirected to deal with the White Fang when it should be better used to combating Salem and the Grimm. If Tohsaka Industries supported the White Fang then what had been a very minor headache could have turned into a more serious matter to deal with.

"That's great to hear," said Ozpin. "Is there anything else you would like to bring to my attention?"

"No," Qrow shook his head. "Everything else is on the file. I added supplementary notes that could be found on our encrypted database if you want to know more about certain aspects of my report."

"Thank you for your hard work." Ozpin smiled gratefully. "Why don't you take the next few days off. Spend some time with your nieces."

"That was just what I was about to do, Oz." replied Qrow as he made his way to the door. "If anything pops out just call my Scroll!"

- O -

I mentally sighed as my students made their way into the atrium and sat down. My plans for what I was going to teach at Beacon Academy had been made months ago, and I practiced for hours, but I was still hesitant if I was making the right decision.

The doors to the atrium soon closed as my husband, and loving partner, Shirou Emiya was the last to enter. He offered me a gentle smile that might have well screamed, "I support whatever you want to do, Rin."

The moment my eyes met his, I wanted to confide with him before putting my mental feet down. I had already made the decision and there was no point in second-guessing my original goals. I took a deep breath before addressing my class.

"Welcome students to Aura and Semblance 101," I smiled as I spoke up. "Many of you may have already learned the basics about Aura and Semblance, but there are some that have never used Aura or Semblance before or you have never learned about this topic properly. So as your teacher, I believe we should start from the fundamentals." I paused to gauge my students' responses before continuing. "Can someone tell me what is an Aura or Semblance?"

I saw the hand a white haired girl raise up. I immediately noticed who the girl was given that her family was the largest competitor to my company, Tohsaka Industries.

"Miss Schnee, please go ahead." I nodded.

"Aura is a manifestation of the soul, a life force that runs through every living creature on Remnant, except for the soulless Grimm." replied Weiss Schnee.

"A textbook answer," I nodded in approval. "Yes, Aura is exactly what Miss Schnee says. Then what is Semblance?"

This time a black haired boy raised his hand.

"Yes, Mister Ren," I addressed him as I remembered his name being Lie Rie from the student roll. "Please tell us what you think."

"Semblance is the next step after learning to use Aura. It is a more tangible form of your soul. Each Semblance is unique to each individual, but there are some similarities between relatives. The most famous similar Semblances being the Schnee family's summoning glyphs."

"Full marks to you, Mister Ren." I smiled. "This next part of the lesson is heavily based on my own research and what the Tohsaka Industries has discovered regarding the human and fanus soul." I took a deep breath as I mentally prepared for my students' surprise. "Aura and Semblance turns out to be the result of devolution. Humanity and Fanuskind once had the ability to use..." I suppressed my urge to call it Magecraft as Remnant was not the Earth where True Magic and Magecraft had very specific in what they could do. "...Magic."

Some of the students stared incredulously at me or looked to me as if I had playing a very dumb joke. What caught my attention the most was those that seemed neutral and undecided in their opinions, likely waiting for more information before making their minds.

"Students!" said Shirou in a soft, but clear voice.

Every student turned their eyes to Shirou. It was not surprising as I might be their teacher but my students didn't respect me as much as they did for Shirou simply because I was not a Huntress. Shirou on the other hand was a very popular Huntsman whose deeds and conduct was a shining standard for Huntsman to live up to.

"My wife is not joking with you," continued Shirou as he looked around the atrium. He grabbed a nearby student's book, who didn't so much as care about the loss of her notebook. "Everyone knows my Semblance is a Creation Type. Yet, it shouldn't be able to do this."

Several students' eyes widened and gasped. The more reactive ones had slack jaws. Whatever their response, every one of my students stared at the notebook that had changed into a wooden statue, about the size of Shirou, placed beside him.

"Tohsaka Industries has recently come across several archaeological sites containing artifacts filled with knowledge and capable of feats that are outside the common understanding of Aura and Semblances." Shirou turned to me and smiled gently as our eyes met. "Professor Tohsaka knows much more on the topic, but I, Shirou Emiya, vouch that my wife is nothing else, but the truth. So please, no matter how hard it seems to believe, give Professor Tohsaka's lecture some serious thought."

"Thank you, Shirou." I flashed my husband a warm smile before adopting a professional demeanor expected from a professor. "The name of the units and how Aura is measured varies from slight differences to major disagreements between nations and scientists. Newly discovered archaeological evidence suggests that our ancient ancestors called the life force that powers Aura and Semblance as Od. They also called what we know today as Dust by a different name. A longer name, Mana Dust, and the modern iteration of the name likely was the result of our ancestors preferring to call it Dust and their descendants got lazy until no one ever called Dust, well as Mana Dust."

Shirou came up to the front of the room and started to unpack some of the boxes that I had brought in for my lecture. He took out several objects and placed them on the table beside me.

"Tohsaka Industries discovered several artifacts, and many are still being investigated, but these are some artifacts that we were able to get working." I tapped on a crystal ball and it lit up. "To our great shock, we find evidence that the Brother Gods of Light and Darkness may not be mythical beings, but actually real gods. A more unbelievable discovery was that our ancestors wielded magic and seemed to have risen up against the Brother Gods for reasons that Tohsaka Industries has yet to discover..."

The projection that appeared was spotty and not very clear, but it played a video that was too real to be fake. A video showing what looked like thousands of humans wielding too many abilities to be brushed off as a Semblance against a seemingly invincible two gods. It didn't last too long. The video was only a minute long, but my students stared in shock at the crystal ball.

I was about to continue my lecture when a black crow, which I had not noticed before, fell from the open glass windows above the atrium. It slammed into the ground. I quickly rushed to the downed crows side and carefully inspected it.

"Students," I called out as I lifted the black crow with my hands. "Everyone knows that I am incapable of using Aura or Semblance."

The students nodded their heads as that was the "common knowledge" the people of Remnants had been told to believe about me ever since I had become a well-known figure as the founder and owner of Tohsaka Industries.

"Using the knowledge and artifacts recently discovered by my company, I was able to unlock something that hadn't been possible for thousands of years since we had lost it." I spoke out with a mysterious smile. "Let's use this black crow as an example." I looked around for someone until I found the perfect candidate. "Miss Schnee, would you please come up and inspect this crow for me."

"Oh course, Professor," replied a surprised Weiss as she snapped out of her shock. She stumbled over to me and took the twitching crow that I passed to Weiss. "What am I looking for, Professor?"

"If the crow has any injuries."

"I don't know too much about crows," said Weiss as she carefully probed around the crow's body, "but I think it has several broken bones."

"Thank you very much for clarifying that for everyone in the class." I smiled as I gently took back the crow. "I will demonstrate some simple magic that I have managed to learn from the magical artifact that my company has discovered."

It hurt my pride as a prodigious mage, but I pretended that I was under great mental strain as I channeled Od from my Magic Circuits and cast a simple magic spell. My act lasted for a minute when in reality it had taken less than a second to heal the broken crow's bones when I loosened my grip on the crow and feigned exhaustion.

"Please tell the class the crow's current state," I said while passing the crow to Weiss.

The Schnee took the crow and probed around gently. "It..." She stared at me incredulously and I prompted her to continue. "The crow no longer has... any broken bones. It has been completely healed..."

My class soon launched into an uproar as conversation erupted around the atrium. Much of what I heard was expected. It was why I had chosen Weiss as my assistant. Everybody knew that the Schnee family hated me, so there was no way that they would ever cooperate with me to help me achieve my goals. So I had created situation where Weiss would be my critic if she found any flaws that disproved my demonstration of magic.

Weiss yelped in surprise as the black crow that had been in a state of shock suddenly started moving. It flapped its wings and escaped Weiss's grasp and flew out the ceiling windows that it had first dropped through.

I swear that I saw intelligence that a crow didn't possess glowing in its eyes. Intelligence on the level of a human. No one except me and Shirou was able to use Magecraft. All evidence that my company had found so far had suggested that the Brother Gods had reseted human civilization and forever robbed Remnant's humanity of magic. There was no way that the crow was a shapeshifting mage or a magical familiar. It was just smarter than the average crow if I hadn't mistaken the intelligence that I had noticed.

My eyes turned to my class and I cleared my throat to get my students' attention before resuming my lecture.

- O -

"Oz!" shouted Qrow as he rushed into the office and slammed the door aside. "We have a situation here!"

"What's the matter, Qrow?" asked Ozpin calmly as he carried a hot coffee cup in his hands and sipped on the beverage.

"Rin Tohsaka is capable of Magic and Tohsaka Industries discovered ruins of your magic civilisation!" Qrow shouted as if not believing his own words. "I also felt her use healing magic on me."

The Beacon Headmaster's grip on his hot cup slipped. The coffee hit the desk and spilled all over. The steaming liquid caused minor burns as it sprayed all over Ozpin. He wasn't even fazed as some of the hot coffee landed on his eyes.
