What's funny is that when I was writing this story, I forgot what a fucking samurai is. That's pretty hilarious, and it didn't hit me until I posted chapter 7. A awkward moment for me, for a bit of pre history to fix my mistake and not rewrite the whole story. Back during the middle ages, when there was knights and all that stuff. That influence from Asia affected the people of Japan. Cultural diffusion or whatever, and now into what this story is. Some generation before the actual story, that's all. Once I finish the story, I'll start rewriting the stories and others that I wasn't proud of like Moonless Nights.
Ok bye
Posting this right after finishing another chapter, chapter publishing is a joke to me. Now I don't care when and what date I post it, if I post it I post it, I mean at least keep it on there for some time. That's all, bye.
"Follow me, Endure," The Queen said.
I followed as it was my duty to be ordered and protect Queen Kimoto. We walk into a secret chamber, seeing a swirly dark and moist stair. Queen Kimoto lights a candle and hands it to me as I hold it with my two fingers. We took our steps down into the stellar, it seemed to go down further than I thought. I wanted to ask questions, but I should not question Queen Kimoto's ways.
"You may ask as many questions before we reach our destination, this will be a big burden that I'll place in your hands," She says with a sweet tone that I always enjoyed.
"Shouldn't I be using my powers to help defend the kingdom, the other army is approaching," I say, confused.
"Please don't worry about that, it won't bother you anymore where we're going."
"Where are we going, and what's gonna happen?"
"Sigh, we're going somewhere special, as well as talk to you for a bit."
I didn't know what she meant by that, we reached the final step of the floor. The eerie darkness fills the room, and using my powers I light up the room even brighter. This place was not attended to for some time, probably a good decade or two. In the middle of the room was a capsule. A big one that I can fit in, we walk over towards it. It looked so unnatural in this place, it was well kept up and smooth. Queen Kimoto took the candle from my hand gently, setting it near a table.
"Ok, if you would please go inside this capsule," She says.
"Yes ma'am,"
I proceeded to go in, it was very spacious with even my giant claymore in there. Whatever this is, the color is slightly throwing me off. It smelled better than the stench of rat pellets down here, maybe I'm doing makeup as she did as a child. I didn't mind, if she was having fun and happy, I'm happy as well. She made sure I was all the way in before the capsule closed on me. She smiled at me, a hiss was made from on top of me. These smokes coming in, see her smile still looking at me.
"Stay safe, Cryptic Knight Endure."
That's. That's what I last remembered.
A sort of beeping went off, It woke me from my slumber. My head hurts for some odd reason, but I can't recall what happened. I was fully awake now, looking around to see all blue. However, a passage opened from the side, walking through to find me in an abandoned place. The walls are falling apart and I can see the sun from here, odd. This place was starting to bring back memories, and soon recall what happened. I looked at the table, the candle withered away and a piece of paper. With my powers, I restored the paper to read it.
"Endure, once you read this note. I have died and passed away, I lied about telling you what happened. However, I did this for both of us, I am gone forever. That's why I left this page for you when you wake up, I can still tell you something even after my death. My order, and your final order. Do what's right how you see fit and make your path. I felt horrible that I had power over you, I am truly sorry that I will be gone. This ancient flower, wear it. It's a memory of me." Reading the final words of Queen Kimoto.
"Queen Kimoto. then my promise was broken," I say, looking at both of my hands and gripping them tightly. "Do I deserve the title of Knight at this point? I serve no more purpose."
I mourn for some time, my white shining armor glimmers in the sun's light. I didn't want that, to me, it was something that I didn't deserve. Changing my appearance from a white knight to a knight shrouded in darkness. I look back to the flower, the white petals and the golden stigma in the middle. I didn't know if I wanted to accept, but I placed it on my chest plate. It didn't look in place, but what I saw in my vision shocked me. I saw Queen Kimoto, she's a ghost! My words couldn't shock me more, kneeling before her. She smiles, walking up to me and hugging my head, gladly hugging me tightly.
"Oh Endure, how many suns passed over you, look at you. Oh poor you, I'm sorry that it had to come to this, sigh look at me in the eyes. Change back to your valiant white," She says, I proceed to change my pallet's back, "Please, stay how you are, I foresaw the disasters ahead. Much worse than what was happening, that's why I did this. Please, make the path that you choose to combat the disaster ahead, the future is now yours."
She disappears into thin air, I was lost for words. What kept me going was my purpose, but without it. No, I shall keep her word, I look up to see a gift left behind from where she was. A wooden chest that was unlocked, putting my hands on the lid and opening it. Inside, spiritual magic was in it, holding out from underneath it. It was her last wish, turning into a soul. Inheriting this, I feel much more powerful than I was, my armor changing to its final form. With time, I manifest into a Knight that's beyond anyone can comprehend. With a new outlook and found knowledge from her last wish, I take my eyes into the light. Approaching the crack in the wall, I manipulate it to make a path. Walking outside, it was bright. In the distance, it is a city, why call it a city? This looks like an empire, but Queen Kimoto's knowledge is nothing to fathom. The sun was about to set over the city, and it was time to move on. I shall fulfill her wish, and prepare for the disaster that shall soon appear here in this world. However, when will that time come?
