A heavy rainstorm was passing over Royal Woods, Michigan. As we pan to an all too familiar house, a young teenage brunette was looking out the window, disappointed. "Man this rainstorm sucks, I can't believe the championship game got canceled." The young Brunette said in a bitter tone. This was Lynn Loud Jr. the fifth eldest sister of the Loud House. Wearing her signature number 1 Jersey with some Cargo shorts. "It happens Lynn, think about it this way, this gives you more time to strategize for the big game." A tall curvy blonde said to her as her eyes were glued to the screen of her cellphone. The young lady was Lori Loud, the eldest sister of the Louds and as per usual, she was talking to her boyfriend.
It was a typical rainy day with all 11 Louds doing their own thing, little did they know an unexpected guest was gonna show up. A young male in tattered clothes running through the rain. He takes shelter under the porch of the Loud House, breathing heavily. The young man seemed to be around 14 years old. The young man was shaking violently from the cold and rain, even though it was the middle of the summer. He could barely keep his eyes open as he passed out on the porch with a loud thud. The noise caught the attention of the Loud children. "What the heck was that noise?" Asked the young Blonde child with a red baseball cap. "Maybe it was a spirit sending us a message." A girl dressed in all black said in a monotone voice. "Lucy, don't say stuff like that, you'll freak everyone out." A young boy in an orange polo shirt said.
The young man opened up the door to see the passed out boy right there on the porch. "Guys, someone unconscious out on the porch." The orange shirt boy said. The girls all come up behind the boy and are shocked to see he was right. "OMGosh, he looks like he's really bad." A blonde girl in a teal dress said. "Lori, can you go get some towels?" Asked a brunette with a pixie cut and a purple shirt. "Okay I will." Lori said, hurrying upstairs to the bathroom. "Lynn, Lincoln, help me lift him up." The purple girl said as she grabbed the boy's upper body. Lynn and Lincoln nodded as they grabbed his legs and helped get him to the couch.
Soon after Lori came back down with towels and a pillow. "Here Luna I got what I could from the closet." Lori said, handing her what she had brought. Luna, the third oldest child, and probably the most caring of the siblings, dried the young boy off as best she could. His clothes weren't helping though, Luna removed his shirt and what the Loud kids saw made them gasp in horror. The young man's body was covered in welts, bruises, cuts, and sores.
"Oh, my, gosh." Was all that came out of the young blonde girl dressed like a princess. "These are a large number of injuries, and some are very old, I highly doubt these were all done in one day." Said a small brunette girl with Glasses. "How old we talkin Lisa?" Lynn asked, still shocked at the sight. "Well the bruises are still fresh, I would say perhaps a few days to a week old, the other injuries look like they go back months." The girls gasped again. Months? What could've happened to this kid to cause these kinds of injuries. "Man, I don't even think I can make a pun to lighten the mood." Said another brunette with braces.
Luna continues to dry the young man off being sure not to press too hard on any of the injuries. After that the boy laid on the couch, still unconscious. "Man, whoever this guy is, he's been through a lot." Lynn said still thinking about the injuries, she had some from sports but they were honestly never that bad. "I know, I can't even begin to think what happened." Lincoln said maranting his soda. Lisa was checking his vitals to make sure everything was fine. "Good news fellow siblings, no major injuries have befallen our unknown guest. It seems most of them are superficial." Lisa said, looking over the papers. "Unfortunately I couldn't find any information on him in the Royal Woods database, so he must be from somewhere else, and he doesn't have any identification on him."
Before the others could say anything the front door opened. "Kids, we're home." A burly male voice came from the door. A man dressed in a green sweater, with a woman in a pink blouse right behind him. "Kids, who's the person sleeping on the couch?" The woman asked, confused and concerned. "Mom, Dad, before you say anything, we don't know who he is." Lori said, trying to curb her parents. "We found him, soaking wet and passed out on our porch." Lynn interjected. "We couldn't leave him out there." Luna added. "So we brought him in and dried him off." Lincoln finished. The parents looked at each other and the father spoke up. "Kids, you should've called your mother and me, or at the very least an ambulance." Then Lisa spoke up. "Negative father, it would've been a waste of time for all parties as he has no significant injuries." Lisa said, adjusting her glasses.
Just then the young man woke up, looking around as he noticed the house he was inside. He started to silently panic as his thoughts raced through head. "Oh, hey guys he's awake." The blonde in green said. The Louds entered the living room as the young man was silently panicking. Leni, the most nurturing of the Louds, walked up to the young man slowly and put an arm on his shoulder. "Don't worry, we aren't gonna hurt you." She said in a soft voice, calming the young man down.
"Wh-who are you people? And where am I?" The young man asked in a scraggly voice. He held his throat in pain as he winced. "I would highly suggest you refrain from speaking for a few hours. I took the liberty of checking your health and you have a fever along with a sore throat." Lisa said, adjusting her glasses. "But how is he supposed to talk to us?" Leni asked. Just then the Young man noticed a sketch book and pen on the table. He grabbed it and wrote down "I can write for now." He looked at the family still weary of all of them. "Can you tell us your name, son?" Lynn senior asked, trying to get a grasp on the young man and who he was. The young man was starting to write down something, with his right hand shaking. He finished writing the name "Sora", the only name he felt right putting down.
"Sora, could you tell us where you're from?" The blonde woman in the pink dress asked. Sora clutched the book close to his chest as his face twisted in pain. "It's okay Sora you don't need to tell us if you don't want to, but don't you have a family?" Rita asked the young man, seeing the pain on his face. Sora wrote in the book saying that he doesn't have a family, he's all alone. Lincoln looked at his parents, "Mom, Dad, is it okay if Sora stays the night? I mean that storm looks really bad and he's already sick." Lisa Chimed in, "I have to agree eldest male sibling, to send him out might cause him to catch hypothermia." Lynn Sr. and Rita looked at each other, knowing full well they couldn't let this child stay out in that storm. "Alright Sora can stay the night." Sora smiled and mouthed 'Thank you' to the Loud Parents.
"Well since you're staying with us for the night, I'm Leni, it's like, totes nice to meet you." Leni said starting off the introductions, soon all the siblings and the parents would follow with the intros. "And finally we have Lily here, our totes adorbes baby sister." Lily giggled as Sora smiled and started tickling her belly. "Alright kids, it's almost 10 o'clock, time to get ready for bed." Rita said as she looked at the clock. The kids made their way upstairs as Sora laid back down on the couch.
Hours later Sora heard something from upstairs, he got up to investigate and heard the noise coming from Lisa and Lily's room, he opened up the door to see that Lily was awake and crying and Lisa was wide awake. Soon after the rest of the Loud kids joined them after. "Did Lily have a nightmare?" "We should get mom and dad." "I hope Lily is okay." All the loud siblings started talking amongst themselves while Sora went inside and picked her up and sat down with her rocking her slowly as she sang John Lennon's Beautiful Boy, while replacing the Lyrics Boy, Daddy, and Sean with Girl, Big Bro, and Lily. Lily soon fell back asleep and Sora placed her back in the crib, kissing her on the forehead. "Goodnight Lily, sweet dreams." He then walked over to Lisa, who fell back asleep. Patted her on the head and wished her goodnight. He slowly made his way outside and quietly shut the door.
"Dude, that was amazing. And a good choice of song." Luna said impressed with their guest. "We should get back to bed, you guys need to be up in a few hours." Sora said before he felt the twins tugging on the t-shirt Mr.Loud gave him. "Um, could you sing us to sleep?" Lana asked while they both have the young man puppy dog eyes. Sora smiled at them and picked them up. "One private concert for the little ladies coming up." Sora brought the two to their room and started singing House on Pooh Corner to the twins as he tucked them into bed.
The rest of the Loud kids looked on in the room, Luna paid attention to how he sang while Lori and Lincoln noticed how brotherly he was acting towards everyone. The loud house was very quiet that night, and Sora, for the first time in a long time, felt at peace as he drifted off to sleep.
