Foreword,

The concept for this story has been something I've been playing around with since early 2020, and honestly I couldn't help but start writing it. I've always loved the Command and Conquer series of games, and have always participated in conversations relating to RWBY and the actual real life world and how they would compare in terms of technology, population and of course military power. The concept for this story first came when I saw a Reddit post basically saying "Who would win in a war, the modern United States, or Remnant. (No Nukes) " There was bunch of heated debates in the comment section, but most agreed that American air superiority, cruise missiles, and the fact that Remnant's communications systems and population distribution were abysmal, made it likely that United States would win that conflict

Now this is not to say that Remnant will go to war with the US in this story (That's right, the US will be the faction here.) That's also not to say that Remnant and the US won't go to war with each other. But anyway I recently decided to take a nostalgia trip and play C&C: Generals, then the idea popped in my head to make a crossover fanfic of the two, and I just went with it and so far I've been having a blast writing this shit.

I believe I should say that my knowledge on the US military comes from my sparse research on it, movies and video games, so please, if I make a mistake, go easy on me, and kindly inform me in the reviews.

This story will not purely be a C&C x RWBY crossover though, I took elements from Call of Duty Modern Warfare and a few other pieces of media to fill in certain blanks, so if that turns you off I suggest you turn away. Now it's kinda obvious, but I feel like I still need to say this, but this story will be unrealistic, so if you make complaints that go "Oh, how would they build that much in just a few weeks, that's not how it works!" Please know that I am fully aware of that, though the nature of this story is US military goes to remnant, that doesn't mean that I want it to be ultra 100% realistic. That also doesn't mean I don't want at least some realism. Like I'm not going to make the US build a military base in remnant in literal minutes like it is in an actual game of C&C: Generals. So by my estimate this story will be about 50% realistic

Without further ado, please enjoy!
