I didn't get what Edward had been trying to do.
He was definitely trying to push me away for whatever reason.
But why?
"Do you want to ask Tanya? Ask her! I told her I loved her back in High school!"
What the hell was that?
Was he even listening his own stupid arguments?
"You know what?" I decided to go back.
But I was taken aback to see what I saw!
Tanya was there!
And she had her arms wrapped around his neck.
And he didn't flinch seeing me, not even a bit!
As if he didn't give any damn about me or my feelings!
So maybe this was what he wanted after all!
Maybe I was trying to read too much?
Maybe he wasn't lying!
He might actually be getting annoyed with me!
He might have felt bad when Tanya humiliated me, but maybe that was it!
I mean, he did decide to stay with her! He must have some feelings for her!
And looking at him right now, he didn't mind having her arms around him!
"Sorry, I'll come later," I said and left.
I wanted to run away from there.
Why was I letting myself get humiliated again and again?
Were these heartbreaks ever going to end?
