"I know it's difficult for you," Marcus said, "We're trying our best."

"I know," I said.

"We're with you, Edward," Dad put his hands on my shoulders, "If you ever want to talk about anything, just come to me, okay?"

"Thanks, Dad. It means a lot," I smiled weakly.

"They're running a social media campaign, and it's really going to be hard to beat them considering you've accepted the having flings while she was in Coma! We'll get back at them, but it's going to take time."

I had no other choice other than accepting it. If I hadn't, they would have tried to dig up all the dirt.

"I know," I said as I checked my phone again.

"Men are fucking pigs!" I read a post with my face on a Pig's body!

I sighed.

Keep calm and try to survive the storm.

That was my motto.

That was the only way I was going to survive this.

Tanya had become a wounded lioness after getting from the Coma.

It made her just... worse!

According to her, life had been unfair to her, and she wasn't going to lose anything else now.

She was aggressive, much more than we had initially imagined.

"I wish I was handsome enough for some heiress to marry me!" A comment from one tech guy said, "And here I am! Trying my best to find investors with my ugly looks!"

"The secret behind Edward Cullen's success? Marrying Tanya Denali!"

"Is Edward Cullen really anything without the support of Denalis?"

I was being destroyed.

My talent, my success, my image, my character... Everything was being questioned.

I had turned into nothing but a walking meme!

But I was glad I was the only one being destroyed right now.

Marrying Tanya was my mistake and I should be the only one paying for it!

I was glad Bella wasn't with me anymore.

Something that wasn't in the initial plan was, she had been dating some Mike Newton for the past two months. Tanya had no reason to believe that we indeed ever had anything serious!

That's when I received a call from Bella.

I wasn't sure why she would call me.

It had been three months since she had resigned and we hadn't even seen each other, and it was for the best.

She shouldn't have any connection with me.

I disconnected the call, but I received a message from her.

"Edward, can we please talk?"

I kept staring at the screen for some time, before I blocked her contact.

Everything was a mess.

And she was better off without me.
