Chapter 0: Getting It Together!
Part 1: Blaineley's Bizarre Campaign!
So, this is technically an alternate continuity to Ultimate Islands, though it might as well have been a sequel in disguise and a spin-off in name only!
2023's the year of this fic, as a good majority of this year's dedicated to the planning of this one and working on a lot of the big episodes of Ultimate Islands!
I'll try to finish Ultimate Islands by 2024 or mid-2024 if things get too long, so that this fic can really get into gear and honestly, the two will be very different compared to each other!
Honestly, if anything, this fic is much more likely to get cancelled than Ultimate Islands ('cause I'm compelled to finish that, while this is just getting started) and you should probably expect updates to take a while.
"Okay, can you stop asking me? I don't think you're in the right headspace to copy Chris on that multiverse idea...especially with still way too big cast."
Don had a very good reason for being suspicious of Total Drama's official new host, Blaineley Stacy O'Harra Andrews, as he had...quite a few bad expriences throughout the years of Fresh TV exprience, Celebrity Manhunt slander included to go along with it.
And since Chris was off on a swan song of the third Cross season, Blaineley's judgement was word in the official Total Drama lore and Don was not surprised to what extent that the second host of Total Drama had used her power.
"Believe it or not, I'm a better host at Total Drama than the OG. Remember those two other seasons?" Blaineley asked.
"Yes, yes, they are fine. What do you want?" Don was real tired of the shenanigans.
"To beat Chris." Blaineley said. "And I did...'cause Total Drama's doing good and it has nothing to do with the has-been."
"...You're technically a has-been! Considering Chris is on his third Cross season, you're still behind!"
"Someone needs to put some Canadian teen victims through some torture and I'm that someone!"
Blaineley had about six normal TD season under her belt and her ego still showed in certain places.
While that conversation may have continued on and hell, the original show did...there was one thing that it could have never done even with the return of the original cast that was surprisingly popular.
Start a conversation and go crazy and stupid at the same time, which set in when Total Drama Silver Island kinda...did good but nothing compared to the total enigma that was Cross: Ultimate Islands.
Even if it was a much better watching experience and a year after the season had wrapped up, Chris was still on top of the world and Blaineley looked like shit.
"Hey, Blaineley, how's the old show doing?" Chris snidely asked. "Heard it ain't doing numbers."
"Good, good. At least people can watch it." Blaineley said. "And it's simple."
"Yeah, that's true."
Chris just sighed, as he had a much better plan for the next season.
"And I'm about to fix that problem while still having a big killer cast! You're going to love this, Blaineley!" Chris declared. "52 or something contestants are gonna be up in your business."
"That's...still a lot, but at least you're opening up my spotlight." Blaineley had to brag, as Chris just scoffed at her. "At least you've got whatever it is you've got going on here."
"Good luck on the ratings!"
And now, it was time for the next Total Drama Cross to happen.
But there was only one thing blocking that from happening, as the executives and producers were just down for another season of chaos and madness...the fact that he had to get all of them here.
Well, he had a guy for that exactly.
"Happy Chaos, my dude, what's shaking?" Chris asked.
"Crabs, but aside from that, not much." Happy Chaos stated, still being a blue guy with the mini horns. "So, what do ya need?"
"I need you to get all of the contestants that have either signed up or are likely to sign up! As much as last season was awesome..."
Chris just left a pause there.
"...we need to get some more people that would be down to do this instead of a bunch of unwilling guys."
"There's a lot of people that like to crazy stuff for free and to get money. I bet you've got some wild picks!" Happy Chaos declared with his improved portal gun.
Chris just nodded affirmatively, as he didn't need to pay this guy with money, but a good time to watch regardless...and that was apparent with the list that he had given the magic man.
At least 65 of the wildest choices that had auditioned for...

And a lot more contestants will be revealed not so soon, 'cause I'll have a lot of requests by the Part 2 and especially Part 3 will be out!
To be continued in Part 2 (in late October) with the next set of twenty-something campers, as I've got a bunch of weirder picks and you guys have probably got a bunch of weird picks!
Some of them will be familiar to long-time viewers!
Some of them will be not that!
And some of them will have barely existed at the time that Ultimate Islands was being worked on and so, they'll get a chance here!
Since early 2021, there has been a lot of stuff that I have watched, a lot of characters that came into existence, characters that have gotten the spotlight again and a lot more unusual requests that have spawned from so many new viewers
So, there's at least 18 contestants that you guys can suggest from whatever source you have (besides any 18+ content, which isn't really that much!)
