He thought about it for sometime and then said, "No... There's no point!"
"Why not?" I asked with frustration and shrugged his hand away.
He didn't like that as he put his arm across my waist and pulled me closer to him.
"Everything is over, Bella," he said as he put his other hand on my cheek, "At some point I honestly thought I could beat Tanya and her family, but... I give up! I'm finished!"
"Just look at me!" I said, "You're not finished! I know there's a stupid social media campaigning going against you, but people who know you as you're, are out there supporting you. Your family, your friends, your colleagues, the board of your company, they all are supporting you! People will forget about those stupid posts gradually, but people who know you are always going to there for you. You will bounce back!"
"It's going to be a long journey," he said.
"And I want to be part of that journey," I said.
"Why would you want that?" he asked frustratingly.
"Because I love you!" I said, "And I don't want anything but this! I know I have made many stupid mistakes, and we can talk about it later... But I feel so content when I'm with you. Even when we're fighting, I feel... just fine! But when I'm away from you, it's just... emptiness. I can't even explain it to you."
"You don't need to explain. I know what you're talking about," he said.
"Then what's the problem?" I asked.
I noticed his eyes had begun to flicker to my lips. Before he could think further and come up with some new excuses, I threw my arms around his neck and put my lips on his. I've had enough!
He began kissing me back, and that's when I realized what being at home felt like!
I didn't want anything else other than being with him!
"I'm so sorry... for everything!" We kept repeating between the kisses.
He pulled away after some time to look into my eyes, "I want to be absolutely clear about one thing... I know you said, once a cheater, always a cheater, but I promise, I can never do that to you! Never!"
I sighed. I didn't even know why I had said those words to him. I didn't know what had gotten into me. Maybe seeing him Tanya had made me go crazy!
"I know... I'm so sorry..." I breathed and kissed him again.
Suddenly I realized we were at Emmett's place when our kisses started to get a little bit heated!
"Let's go somewhere else," I said between the kisses, "My place?"
"Umm... Let me call Marcus. I don't want to take any risk," he said.
"Edward... I swear, I'm going to kill you someday," I sighed as I rested my head on his chest.
