Dear Scarlett Alister,

I'm happy to be able to write to you. You had grabbed my attention since the first time I saw you, for I never laid eyes on someone as beautiful as you. I may not be the right one for you, though, that remains to be seen. I have so many things I want to ask you, so many things I want to know about you. The whole world seems more complete now that I have met you, it seems so much brighter in my eyes. I have my reasons to feel that way, maybe I'll tell you one day.

Despite my good relationship with my parents, they never really felt like family. I'm a man that focuses on my goals more than relationships with other people, however, your smile has stirred something awake in my chest that I never thought I'd be able to feel. Your smile is just so warm and bright, it makes me smile as well. I want to know everything there is to know about you, everything that you think is worth sharing with me. I'll even share some of my personal things with you. I know that we only just met, but it already feels like I have known you forever, even though I just know the most basic information about you. I hope to see that smile a lot more.

Now, I have talked way too much about how much I enjoy your company, and that you are visually pleasing to look at. I want to know a lot about you. I want to know your likes and dislikes.

What is your favorite colour? Mine is a deep shade of red, not unlike your hair.

What type of flower do you like best? I'd like to think it's a rose or something of that nature, a peony perhaps.

What did you want to become, when you grew up? I always wanted to be an archaeologist, I have my personal reasons for that wish.

What do you wish most in life? I can confidently say, that I wish for your happiness. Protecting your smile should be my top priority in this world.

Tell me, tell me everything. Share what is going on it that beautiful head of yours. I want to be able to understand you. To understand what makes you so unique, and what makes me long to be in your company.

I await your quick reply to this letter. However, I don't want you to feel pressured to write to me. Please consider writing back to me.

Sincerely,

Desmond Sycamore
