It had been a week since Lois and Oliver had broken up because he had to leave town without her when they were really supposed to be going on a romantic trip for just the two of them. She was in a lull because of her heart being broken and it just so happened to be Valentine's Day, the worst holiday ever for her right now. The only thing that was keeping her going right now was Smallville, which really surprised her. When she really thought about it though, she didn't know why that was the case because he had always been there for her when she needed someone.
Today, she happened to be coming home from the Inquisitor and when she got to the Talon, she remembered that there was party going on there tonight so she went up to her apartment and got a few of her things so that she could leave and not have to deal with all these happy couples. She picked up her phone and made a call.
"Hello."
"Hey Smallville, do you mind some company? They are having a party at the Talon, and I don't feel like being around all of these happy couples at a time like this." Lois said.
"Come on over Lois. Not that it matters anyways because we both know that you were going to show up anyways." Clark said.
"So, movie night then?" Lois asked.
"Yeah, it has been a while since we have had one of those." Clark said.
"Ok, I will be there in fifteen minutes. I just need to get some clothes together." Lois said and then she hung up.
Lois went to her room and packed up a pair of pajamas and she would need a change of clothes for tomorrow. Once everything was packed, she went downstairs, and she was going to walk out of the door when something caught her attention. She turned and saw a woman with a both. Lois went over to talk to the lady because some of her items she was selling looked like some things she would be interested in.
"So, how much for this lipstick? I could use this for when I find another date." Lois said.
"I will give it to you for fifteen dollars. It is a package deal with this perfume." The lady said.
Lois smelled the perfume, and she liked the scent, so she bought the lipstick and perfume.
"Before you go, there is something that you need to know about those items though." The lady said.
"Ok, I am listening." Lois said.
"These items have certain magically powers. The perfume will raise your pheromones and the lipstick we make it so that you can find your true love. The red shade comes from the red meteor rock that is around this town." The lady said.
"Well, I can use all the help I can get. Hopefully it works like you said." Lois said as she thanked the woman and then left the Talon.
Lois like the smell of the perfume so she put some of it on before she started her car. She also wanted to try the lipstick on and see how it looked so she got the mirror out of her purse and applied some of the lipstick. She liked the shade and thought it would make her look good for her next date.
She was now on the road to the Kent farm. She knew that Clark was having a hard time with everything that was going on with Lana so she thought that they both could maybe cheer each other up. When she got to the Kent house, she parked her car in her usual spot and got all her things and went into the house. When she entered the house, she saw that Clark had already ordered some food from the local Chinese place and was setting it on the table for the two of them.
"You are a lifesaver Smallville. I am about to starve. I am going to change my clothes upstairs and then I will be down to eat." Lois said.
"I thought you would be hungry. I will have it ready once you get back down here." Clark said.
When Lois came back down, she was in her pajamas but the weird thing for Clark was that she was still wearing makeup, and to make things even weirder was the fact that Lois usually didn't wear lipstick in that deep of a red.
Lois looked at Clark and she had this weird feeling that she hadn't ever had before. It was very overwhelming. Well, she was wrong about that. She had these feelings before but just not this strong and it was always happening around Smallville ever since she met him. She then got to thinking about it and it all started to make since. The lipstick was doing its work. She now knew that the woman wasn't a phony.
Clark was also having a hard time with his feelings toward Lois right now. She was just putting off some sort of energy that he couldn't escape. Not that he really wanted to. He had always thought that Lois was a pretty girl, and she was loyal to all her friends. He just didn't know if this was just a feeling that would pass of if it would get worse.
"Hey Lois, is that a new perfume that you are wearing, and also why is your makeup still on?" Clark asked.
"I didn't feel like taking it off yet and yes, it is a new perfume. I just bought both the perfume and the lipstick at the Talon. Do you like it?" Lois asked.
"I do, so how about we eat some of this food and then we can go and watch a movie." Clark said and Lois nodded as she was already digging into her food.
Clark couldn't keep his eyes off Lois. She just seemed to look more beautiful tonight then she normally does. Obviously, the perfume was going it work on him. Soon they were done eating and the two of them went to watch a movie in the other room.
As the movie was going the perfume was getting to Clark more and more. He just couldn't figure out what was going on. He just wanted to kiss her so bad.
Lois was having the same problem because the lipstick had finally made her see Clark for who he was. The love of her life. She looked over at him out of the corner of her eyes and she could tell that he was doing the same. They might as well not even be watching the movie because their minds were not on that at the time.
Lois couldn't take it anymore, so she turned to Clark and when he saw her turn towards him, he did the same. Lois launch herself at Clark and she kissed him on the lips. Suddenly Clark was feeling the effects of the red kryptonite in the lipstick, which made him want to kiss her even more. The two were now in a full-blown make out session on the couch, not paying attention to the movie now.
"How about we take this upstairs?" Lois asked.
"I have a better idea. Being that it is the weekend, I know somewhere that we can go, and no one will bother us until we get back here on Sunday." Clark said.
"I like the sound of that. We will need to go to the Talon and get me some more clothes though." Lois said.
"What I have planned doesn't involve clothes." Clark said.
"Smallville, when did you get so daring? You normally don't talk like this." Lois said.
"Don't worry about that right now. Go and change into something worm and then we will head out." Clark said.
"Ok, I will be back in a few." Lois said as she went to change her clothes.
Lois returned not long after wearing the clothes that she was going to wear the next day and a thick coat. She was now ready to go. "So, where are we going Smallville?" Lois asked.
"We are going to what I call my fortress of solitude." Clark said.
"So, you mean we are going out to the barn then?" Lois asked.
"No, it is my place up in the arctic. I will explain it all to you later." Clark said as he picked up Lois bridle style and sped to the caves.
"How the hell did you do that?" Lois asked.
"I will tell you soon enough, but I need to take you to the fortress first. Everything will make more since then." Clark said as he kissed Lois again before slipping the key into the slot and then they were transported to the fortress.
"I have seen this place before. This is the place that I told you was heaven six months ago." Lois said.
"It's not heaven Lois. It is my fortress." Clark said.
"Kal-El." The fortress boomed.
"What the hell was that?" Lois asked.
"Don't worry about it. Yes father." Clark said.
"I see that you have brought a guest, and I see that it is your mate." Jor-El said.
"What do you mean my mate?" Clark asked.
"Do you think it was a coincidence that Lois Lane was the one to find you when I sent you back to earth two years ago?" Jor-El said.
"I never really thought about it truthfully, but now that you said something, it makes since." Clark said.
"What the hell is going on here?" Lois asked.
"Lois, meet my father, Jor-El. He can be a real pain in my ass sometimes." Clark said.
"Nice to meet you, I guess." Lois said.
"Kal-El something is messing with your system. Give me some time and I can fix the problem." Jor-El said as he then surrounded Clark in a beam of light and after about five minutes Clark was free of the red kryptonite.
"I also sense that something is in your system as well, I can fix that for you." Jor-El said.
"No don't. I don't want this feeling to go away. If it does, I will be back in the same shitty mood I was in earlier today." Lois said.
"Nothing will change about the way you feel about my son Lois. You have realized how you feel now and that will never go away. Just ask Kal-El if anything changed for him." Jor-El said and Lois looked towards Clark.
"No, nothing has changed. I still feel like I am in love with you. So, you will be fine. I will explain all of this to you once that is done." Clark said and Lois nodded.
"Ok Lois, I will fix you system, but I am also going to give you a gift being that you Kal-El's mate." Jor-El said.
"Ok, that sounds interesting." Lois said as she was surrounded by the same beam of light that Clark was.
When the light went away Lois couldn't see anything different about herself, so she said, "What was this gift? I don't see anything different."
"You are now a part of the House of El now Lois. Pull the right side of your collar down a bit." Jor-El said.
Lois did as Jor-El said and she saw a symbol on her right collar bone. It was the symbol of the House of El.
"What the hell is this?" Lois asked.
"It is the symbol of our house on Krypton. People don't wear their coat of arms here like we did on Krypton, so it was the best way for you to have the symbol." Jor-El said.
"Ok, but what is Krypton?" Lois asked.
"Krypton is Kal-El's home planet. It was destroyed when he was only a baby. His mother and I sent him to earth because it is a planet that was much like ours, so Kal-El would be able to fit in here." Jor-El said.
Lois turned to Clark and asked, "So, you are an alien?"
"Yes, I was going to tell you. I just didn't really know how to. Everyone else that knows who I am look at me different and I didn't want you to do that too." Clark said.
"I would never do that. You will always be Clark Kent to me. My Smallville." Lois said.
"Thank you." Clark said.
"There is something else that I gave you as well Lois. For you to live as long as Kal-El and be able to possibly have children someday if you choose to, I had to change your genetic structure. You are now a full Kryptonian just as Kal-El is." Jor-El said.
"Father, won't that kill her like it did to dad?" Clark asked.
"No Kal-El. Being your mate is a powerful thing Kal-El. She is the only true person on this planet that will be able to handle your powers. Therefore, that is the reason why she is your perfect mate." Jor-El said.
"So, what will I be able to do?" Lois asked.
"I have super speed and strength, heat vision, x-ray vision, freeze breath, super hearing, and someday I might be able to fly." Clark said.
"Wow, it will be fun learning how to use all of those powers. Thank you, Jor-El.," Lois said.
"You're Welcome Lois." Jor-El said.
"Anything else you want to know right now?" Clark asked.
"I got the CliffsNotes version for right now. I think that is good for now. But I do think that we are forgetting something." Lois said.
"And what might that be?" Clark asked.
"You didn't think to tell me that you were the Green Arrow?" Lois asked.
"Oh, that. I am sorry Lois, but I am not the Green Arrow." Clark said.
"Bullshit. I would know that kiss anywhere, because like I told you, it was the best I ever had, and I had it again tonight." Lois said.
"I didn't say that it wasn't me in the suit, I just said that I am not the Green Arrow." Clark said.
"So, it was Ollie?" Lois asked.
Clark just nodded his head and didn't say anything else. It wasn't his place to give everything he knew about Oliver to Lois.
"Sorry, I couldn't tell you, but it wasn't my place." Clark said.
"I understand Smallville. Now how about we get back to the reason that we really came here. Is there a bedroom in this place?" Lois asked and Clark could only laugh and shake his head. He didn't know what he had gotten himself into, but he couldn't upset his mate, so he led her to the bedroom, and they made love for the first time that night.
