In the Emperor's Palace, Emperor Belos had drained another Palisman of their life so he could live another day and keep control of the beast that laid dormant inside of him. Then, one of his soldiers burst in with a clipboard.

"Lord Belos."

"What is it?" Belos asked.

"We have prepared the parade floats for the Coven Day Parade." The guard replied. "They've been tested and are prepared for absolutely anything."

"Are there any faults?"

The guard began to sweat underneath his mask as the emperor stared down at him. "Well, it's just, you know, since Raine Whispers has technically betrayed us….Should we find a replacement? Or do we find a Basilisk to take their place?"

"Don't you fret, Darius and Eberwolf are following them as we speak." Belos assured the guard. "Along with the traitor known as Lilith Clawthorne and the toad."

Then, another guard ran in, sweating her helmet off. "Sir, I got words from the scouts that they are trying to find the time pools, what should we do? Arrest them when we have the chance?"

Instead of responding, Belos just sat on his throne doing heavy breathing. After a few seconds he said, "Let them."

"Huh?" The guards reacted.

"They won't find the time pools, they'll just be a bunch of confused witches." Belos replied. He then looked towards a wall as a shadow moved past. "Now, please leave, I have a private meeting I wish to attend to. You have more important things to be doing. The Coven Day Parade is only a couple of days away and I want things to be perfect. Now, away with you."

The guards bowed and ran out of the room, closing it on the way out. As they continued to walk, they began having a conversation.

"Do you ever wonder what goes on in there, Severine?" The guard asked.

"It's a private meeting, Steve. Of course I don't." Severine retorted.

"But it makes you wonder who he's talking to in there." Steve said.

"Do you wanna find out or do you want to be petrified?" Severine asked.

"Standing around all day doing nothing?"

"It's what we do all day. Except, we could be dead."

"Yup. Death sucks. Even for Steve."

In the throne room, the Emperor took off his helmet revealing his scarred face and placed it on a mantle before smiling sinisterly. "I know you're here Collector."

The shadow of what appeared to be a hooded child, hover above Belos, laughing. "Ooooooooooh, what are we having a parade?"

"Of course Collector, you know it's the annual Coven Day parade." Belos replied.

"Uh, it's usually the same." The Collector groaned. "Will this be the day you finally begin the Day of Unity and I can be free?!"

Belos chuckled. "I am hoping so."

"Hey, you know how you got Smallsacc to be compliant with your commands, how did you do that?" The Collector asked.

"I have my ways Collector, though they are ways that hurt." Belos replied.

"And why did you have to lie to that Andrias guy about who you were?" The Collector laughed. "You're not John Wittebane, you're Phillip Wittebane. And what even is John?! That is the most boring name I've ever heard of."

"It was a more interesting story." Belos replied. "Something I'd tell a publicist if they get too close."

"Plus, you could have told him about the draining spell." The Collector pointed out. "I'd doubt he'd mind. But, if he did then he is a dummy and a loser."

"Isn't it obvious Collector? I can not have Andrias being a delay in my plan." Belos replied. "If his forces invade this world before all those witches have been wiped out, then all the hard work I have put together for years will be for nothing and I won't be humanities saviour."

"Aww, someone's a little jealous." The Collector said mockingly. "You're afraid that your people will laugh at you for being upstaged by a giant newts?" The Collector laughed again. "That is funny and very typical of you. You know, for a so-called saviour, you sure do have an ego."

Belos, in anger, shot a tentacle at The Collector, whom only giggled as they avoided it. "Hhahahhahahahahahhaha!"

"You're mockery is insulting." Belos said to them in anger. "Now, leave me. I have my meeting with Andrias."

"Wait, you're still talking to the newt?!" The Collector asked.

"He is unique, in his own way." Belos said. "He fascinates me. Now, leave me be Collector. Leave me be."

The Collector huffed as they hovered away, impatiently waiting until he could wreck havoc on The Boiling Isles.

Belos turned to the robot frog and the holographic projection of Andrias appeared around the throne room. "Helloooo Belos, how are you…" Then there was a sound and Andrias turned around. "Wait a second, what's going on? Hey, why is there a bald human with pointy ears with another pointy eared human who needs a shave and a weird dog creature?"

Belos raised an eyebrow. "I'm sorry what?" He then turned to the robot. "Robot, show me what's going on!" The robot then made the projection a bit bigger causing a holographic projection of the Emperor's throne room to appear with a mysterious figure in a black suit and black antler-like helmet and two familiar faces. "Well, what have we here?"
