She let her fingers trail along the old books, as she searched the Black library for a book to read, just as she rounded the corner strong arms wrapped around her from behind, kissing her neck as she sighed into his embrace.

"Fuck, I missed you." He whispered in her ear, turning her around so he could see his secret girlfriend. They met in this very library the first week of the summer holidays, and sparks flew strongly between them as they secretly continued to meet in said library. It actually hurt to leave his witch, when he had to leave for a week for work, after helping his family settle in, and move them from the Burrow temporarily to this place, after things progressed with the Death Eaters.

"Bill," she said, her eyes brightening as their lips met.

"I'm not sure how much longer I can stay here, Hermione. It hurt like hell to leave when I did, love." Her petite fingers are threading through his long ginger-ish brown hair, his hands on her ass holding her to his body, her back resting on the bookshelves as they snogged between talking.

"I understand, it hurt for me too. I've never felt like this before, not for Ron or Viktor Krum." She whispered. "I am so thankful I used the time-turner now, as it's aged me a couple of years to adulthood, or else we would not be able to do this." She kissed him.

"We will make it work love, I don't want to lose you, now that I have you. I've brought you something back from Egypt that'll help with communications." He pulled a pretty silver locket out of his pocket and showed her how to open it by pressing it to her lips, revealing a picture of him and moved his other hand off of her ass to reveal the same heart-shaped necklace around his neck. She was surprised to find a picture of her in it.

"I had to beg Fred and George to get me one of you, it wasn't easy... It cost me rather a few gallons to keep their silence." She kissed him in acceptance and he placed hers around her neck, then Bill moved her hands to hold it, closing both of them and got his own locket to place it on hers. A bright white glow lightens up the gloomy library, as they watched the lockets do their thing. They watched as little ropes appear around the heart and tie it in a bow-like shape, then burst into silver hearts, as the locket and chain it sits upon each other.

"Now all we have to do is kiss the heart and speak into it, whenever we are free to do so, I want to be closer to everyone with the war progressing, so I'm going to try and find a job closer to home," he said.

"If it is truly what you want to do, then I will support you with whatever you decide." He leaned in to kiss her softly.

Hermione knew this was probably going to be the only time they had alone for a while, at least until the Halloween holidays when they planned to stay together. Bill said he has booked a cottage on the coast, for a break away from everything before they'd even met. She didn't have any parents anymore, after erasing their memories of her and this world to protect them from this war, she did it on her last break back home, only her head of house, Dumbledore and now Bill knew. They are living their best lives, retired in Australia.

It is how her boyfriend had found her in tears, the first night they all got here, in the library. It was the start of everything between them on the first of July, as they grew close throughout July, and into August. They now walk through the library together holding hands, until they find two comfortable chairs next to a fireplace.

She knew what was coming and has fully accepted this new stage in their relationship. Bill led her to the chairs and transfigured them into a double bed, placing a silencing and blocking charm around the area in case someone should come in and find them. They are so deep within the Black library he didn't think they would, but just to be on the safe side he warded the area. He lifted her up and kissed her as he lay her down on the bed crawling on top, she flicked her wand and removed their clothing.

They both moaned as the skin-on-skin contact became real, other than a few quick hand and finger moments over the summer, she was surprised they even had. Harry is due tomorrow, the 6th of August and this was probably the only chance they had to take their relationship further.

All thoughts are completely gone, as his locket rested on her chest next to hers, they explored this new part of their romance. As hard as it had been they had decided to keep the relationship a secret from everyone. Bill didn't want his mother taking over or putting pressure on them.

And neither of them wanted to hurt Ron, who had tried to get with her several times since they arrived, much to Bill's annoyance after he officially asked her to be his witch, the second weekend of July. He couldn't do anything about his little brother's advances... yet. Things were already tense and preparing for Harry's arrival. They didn't want to create any more atmospheres by revealing their romance in stressful times.

"That was amazing, love." Bill kissed her lips.

"I'm glad I waited," she said kissing him back.

"I'm glad too," he said.

They knew they didn't have much time to sneak around, or hide in their private space much longer, so they reluctantly rose and she flicked her wand so their clothing came back on, and Bill transfigured everything back to the way it originally was. Just as he finished removing the wards, he held her hand, to lead them back to the entrance of the library, as Molly Weasley's magically enhanced voice yells dinner is ready.

They shared a brief kiss and Bill squeezed her hand, letting her go first, she bumped into the twins on the other side of the library door.

"Didn't find a book then, Hermione?" Fred or George said, his eyes twinkling with amusement! Her eyes widened in surprise, she'd forgotten about that. But how the fuck would they know what they've been doing?

"Our brother that good?" She choked on air and moved past their chuckling forms as fast as she could. Bill had heard everything and took his twin brothers by surprise, by yanking them into the library once his girlfriend was out of sight, and gave the boys a good talking to before they all went down to dinner.
