In the afternoon, at a campsite near the woods, an eleven-year-old named Lincoln Loud. He had white hair and a small scar on the left side of his head; he wore an orange collar shirt, blue hoodie, blue jeans, white socks, a large brown backpack, and black shoes. Lincoln walks into the woods with a smile on his face. He goes further into the woods until he stops near a stream of water. The boy set his backpack down on the ground.
"This looks like the best place to stay for the night," Lincoln thought.
Lincoln POV
You may be wondering what I'm doing in the woods somewhere in Ohio. I ran away from home about four months ago. I can't tell you why, but I've been doing well on the road. I slept in weird places, and I got my health. The only bad thing that happened was that I ended up getting chased by some crazy guy and his dog, only to get a scar on my head.
So yeah, everything is good for now. Anyway, I got to set up camp before nighttime. Who knows what's going out here in the woods? Anything can happen.
Third POV
At night, RV campers arrived at the campsite. Max Tennyson came out of the camper, an older man who wore a red buttoned-up Hawaiian shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes. Coming after him in the RV camper was his grandniece, Gwen. She wore a blue long-sleeved shirt with a cat symbol, white capris, and white shoes.
"Smell that, Gwen; that's the smell of fresh nature," said Max.
"Yeah Grandpa, It smells nice, "said Gwen.
"Too bad Ben isn't here with us."
"Yeah, what a shame," Gwen said, then thought, "Thank god."
"Anyway, I'm going to start cooking dinner."
"What are we having, grandpa?"
"It's a surprise."
Thirty minutes later, Max puts down a bowl of brownish worms moving around in it at the panic table.
"I'm going to be sick," Gwen thought.
"So what do you think of Gwen?" said Max
"It looks nice, grandpa, but what is it?"
"It's Marinated mealworms. It's hard to get them in the states but I manage."
"Oh boy."
Max takes a fork, stabs into one of the worms, and eats it in front of Gwen, who tries not to throw up.
"Want to try it?" said Max
"I'll try it later," said Gwen
"Suit yourself," Max says, taking another bite of worms.
"I think I'm going to take a walk grandpa."
"Okay, but don't get too far into the woods."
"Alright grandpa."
Gwen walks in the woods with several things on her mind.
"If I knew I had to eat grandpa's weird cooking then I would stay home," Gwen thought; she sighed, "but at least Ben is at that all-boys summer camp and not annoying me."
Gwen then notices a light in the distance, and she goes to check it out. She sees a white-haired kid reading a comic on a long log next to a big flashlight, and behind him is a small tent.
"What is he doing alone in the woods?" Gwen thought
The boy glances up from his comic and sees Gwen. "Um hello."
"Oh hi sorry if I interrupted your reading," said Gwen
"Don't worry about it."
There was awkward silicone between the boy and Gwen until the boy introduced himself to her.
"I'm Lincoln," said the boy extending his hand for a handshake
Gwen shakes Lincoln's hand. "I'm Gwen," the two stop shaking hands
"So what are you doing in the woods?"
"I'm just going for a walk. What about you? "
"Just camping,"
"By yourself ?"
"Yep my parents trust me in camping out here by myself."
"They sound pretty cool."
"Yeah, they are." Lincoln changes the conversation and goes into his backpack, where he grabs a bag of gummy bears. "Want some?" he asks.
"Sure." Gwen sits next to him and grabs a handful of gummy bears "it beats worms."
"Anyway, how long are you going to be at that campsite?"
"My grandpa and I were stopping here for the night before going on this three-month road trip across the country."
"That sounds exciting."
"It is, but my grandpa has a weird taste in food."
"Like what?"
"Marinated mealworms."
"Oh got it."
Gwen looks up in the air and sees a shooting star. "Lincoln lookup."
Lincoln does what Gwen said and sees in the air, "Woah we should make a wish."
"Sounds cheesy, but sure."
The two make a wish in their heads but then see the star begin to descend to the ground and crash into the ground a few feet away from them.
"I guess that wasn't a star," said Lincoln.
"What was it then?" said Gwen
"No idea, but I'm going to check it out." Lincoln gets off of the log and heads to the crash site.
"I should go with him and make sure he doesn't get hurt," Gwen thought.
Lincoln goes to the crash site to see a crater in that crater, and in that pod in the middle of it. He walks close to the crater, but he accidentally falls into the crater. He comes near the pod.
"What the heck is in this pod, an alien?" Lincoln thought
The pod opens itself to reveal a device that looks like a watch. Before Lincoln could react, the watch jumped out of the pod and latched onto Lincoln's left wrist. Lincoln freaks out and tries to get the watch off of his wrist.
"Why can't this thing get off of me?" Lincoln thought.
Lincoln, after a few more tires Lincoln gives up and gets out of the carter to see Gwen coming up to the crash site.
"What's in the crater?" said Gwen.
"But now it won't come off," Lincoln says as he shows Gwen his watch.
Gwen tried to pull the watch off of Lincoln, but she couldn't because "it's stuck on your arm pretty well."
"Got any idea to get off?"
"No, but I'm sure my grandpa does."
Lincoln accidentally touches the centerpiece, and it opens to show a hologram of a figure.
"What the heck is that?" said Gwen
"Some hologram of a creature," said Lincoln. He hovers his hand over the centerpiece.
"Are you sure it's a good idea?"
"Maybe but I have to find out what this watch does."
Lincoln presses down on the centerpiece. Then, in a teal flash, Lincoln transforms into a creature with red volcanic rocks on its head and fire coming off its back. The creature has an hourglass symbol on its chest.
Gwen regains her eyesight and sees Lincoln's new form. "Lincoln is that you?"
Yeah, what's wrong? What happened to my voice? " Lincoln said, then looked down at himself, "and what happened to my body?"
"It must be the watch that turns you into some fire monster."
"Great, it's not like I don't have enough problems in my life," Lincoln says before accidentally shooting a fireball from his hand, which lands in a couple of trees and sets them on fire."crap."
Back to Max, who comes out of the camper with a bottle of water and sees the smoke in the distance.
"Gwen," Max thought
Max quickly goes back to the RV, grabs a fire extinguisher, and heads to where the smoke is coming from. He went to the source and saw his grandniece and some fire monsters surrounded by fire.
"Gwen what's going on and what is that creature next to you?" said Max
"It's a long story, but he's not actually a monster," said Gwen.
"Totally not I'm just a boy turn into whatever this thing is," said Lincoln
"Okay then." Max looks around the fire and comes up with an idea "can you make another fire to make a backfire that way the fires will snuff each other out."
"I'll try."
Lincoln made another fireball and fired it toward the fire, causing the backfire and causing the forest fire to end.
"Now I want to know how this happened?" said Max
Coming back to the Rv, Lincoln and Gwen explain what happens to Max from the crater to the watch him turn into the fire creature.
"And the watch won't get off?" said Max
"No, it's attached to me," said Lincoln, who tried to eat a marshmallow, but it was burnt to a crisp in his hand.
"So you think Lincoln is going to be stuck like a monster forever?" said Gwen
"He's not monster Gwen, he's an alien." Lincoln and Gwen looked at Max with a curious look. "I mean look at him, what else could he be?"
"Well it done come from space," said Lincoln
Then suddenly, Lincoln changes back to his regular self, and the watch has a red light before turning back to teal.
"Ah I'm back to my human self," said Lincoln. Then he tries to get the watch, but it still won't get off "still stuck."
"Don't mess with it son we might not know what else it would do," said Max
"Okay, Mr. Tennyson."
"By the way, Lincoln, where are your parents?"
"Oh they're somewhere else at the campsite."
"Then why were you in the woods by yourself?"
"I was camping by myself."
"I'll talk to them in the morning. In the meantime I'll check out the crash site where you two stay."
Max went to the crash site leaving Gwen and Lincoln by themselves. Lincoln gets curious and starts moving the centerpiece seeing different holograms of aliens before Gwen comes up to him.
"Lincoln, what are you doing with that watch?" said Gwen
"I'm just looking at it these aliens," said Lincoln
"But my grandpa says you shouldn't mess with it."
"I know but when I was that alien was like a different person."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I'm just curious about what else the watch can do."
"Still don't think you should mess with it."
"Don't worry, I think I know how this watch works."
Meanwhile, Max got off track to the crash site to see Lincoln camp and thought.
"Lincoln is hiding something."
Max then arrives at the crash site and sees the pod in the middle of the crater.
"This is not good," Max thought.
Back to Lincoln and Gwen, when the watch was ready to use, Lincoln picked an alien. He transforms into a blue humanoid moth-like alien whose wings fold around his body like a poncho.
"I went from hot to cold," said Lincoln
"At least you won't burn down forest," said Gwen
Lincoln unfolds his wings and flies up in the air, "and I can fly, this is awesome."
Lincoln flies around in his new form until he sees two flying objects coming near him. It turns out to be drones who begin to shoot Lincoln. He dodges the laser. He suddenly turns invisible and flies through one of the drones, and it freezes up and falls to the ground.
"Cool," Lincoln thought.
Lincoln becomes visible and tries out his cryo power to the other drone, freezing it as well. Lincoln comes back to Gwen, who witnesses the fight in the air.
"Did you see that Gwen? How awesome was that?" Lincoln returns to his normal self.
"It was, but look behind you," Gwen said.
Lincoln turns to see Max with a frown on his face. "I thought maybe you'll get curious about that watch and that's why I told you not to mess with it."
"Sorry, Mr. Tennyson, but on the bright side, I know how to use it," said Lincoln.
Max sighs "well I guess you have to learn how to use it fast."
"So you're letting me keep using it?"
"Yes, but you have answered this question truthfully."
"Okay."
"I found your campsite and it would seem more than your parents letting you camp. Are you a runaway Lincoln?"
Lincoln sat down on the ground and answered, "yes."
"For how long?"
"For about four-month now and I'm not going back to my parents."
"This is a complicated situation," Max thought.
Then the three hear screams coming from this distance and see another smoke.
"I think those someone needs my help," said Lincoln
"We'll continue this conversation later," said Max
Lincoln and the Tennysons see a large robot wrecking campers and RVs.
"That must be the big boss robot," said Lincoln
"Got any aliens that would take it down, Lincoln? said Gwen.
Lincoln turns the deal on his watch until he picks an alien "this one should do." Lincoln changes into a crystal alien "oh this could do damage."
"What can he do?"
"No idea but I'll find out. You two get the people away from the robot."
"Got it Lincoln." said Max
With the plan in motion, Lincoln faced the large robot. He tried to punch it, but it wouldn't make a dent. The robot fires its lasers at Lincoln. One it's the ground, and the other hits Lincoln's sharp shoulder blade, and the laser bounces off.
"Hm I think I know how to beat this robot," Lincoln thought.
Lincoln uses his crystal body to turn his arm into a shield. The robot tries to smash Lincoln, but he moves out of the robot's way. When the robot fires a laser, Lincoln uses his shield arm to bounce the laser into the robot's torose and explodes.
"Ha, this Diamondhead guy is pretty cool. Wait minute Diamondhead that a great name for this alien and I should name the rest of my aliens."
The next morning Lincoln and Max talk next ot the Rv.
"So you don't want to go back home?" said Max.
"No I don't," said Lincoln
"Well I can't let you alone with that watch so I decided that you can come with us on our roadtrip."
"Really?"
"Yes I shouldn't be worry too much about you on this vacation you seem like a good kid Lincoln."
Lincoln smiled and said, "Don't worry, I won't let you down, sir. Let me just go get my stuff."
Inside the Rv, Gwen heard the conversation between Lincoln and her Grandpa.
"At least this Summer isn't going to be boring," Gwen thought
A damaged large alien ship is floating above the Earth in the ship was an alien named Vilgax. He had tentacles on his face, green skin, and his muscular body was in a tube recovering from his wounds. He was not happy that his robots had failed.
Vilgax shouted, "I will not rest until I get the Omnitrix from whoever has it, and I'll have their heads on my wall!"
