In a large business room, multiple men were sitting around discussing the topic of a new show. One of the older ones groaned "ugh, we gotta make ten more shows for the streaming service or else no one is going to pay 20 bucks a month"
"Well, what show could we bring back that the kids love?" A short woman asked "we don't have that many shows we haven't already rebooted"
One of the other men rubbed his bald head "maybe we should… make something new?"
Everyone else looked at him before groaning "come on man try doing something realistic!"
One of them rested their chin on their hand "so… do we just wanna roll a wheel and just take an early vacation?"
Everyone looked amongst themselves before quickly nodding "yea, yea, sounds good to me"
"Alright, roll the wheel!" A man pointed away from their table and towards the front of the room. An intern slowly walked in carrying a wheel with multiple franchises listed on it.
"Alright, let's get this over with quick" the woman picked up three darts and rapidly shot them towards the wheel. Landing on two shows that don't matter in the slightest. However, the third one landed on Chris's head with the letters 'TD' under it.
"And it looks like we have our shows!" All of the executives were already dressed for their summer vacation as they started walking out.
"B-but what about the shows?" the intern asked as they were already a step out of the office.
They look at each other before shrugging "just call up the companies that made them" without another word they were already out.
She sighed "I guess I'll just call Chris McLean first…" she got out a phone to start calling his number they had written down, before just being forwarded to a nearby prison.
"Well… that doesn't work" she murmured before ringing up another number she had found on the producers' table "yes, Nurse Nelly? I don't know if you're still interested but it appears the show has been green-lighted. Are you still interested in taking a cohost role?"
She just nodded her head as she listened to her talking "ok, thank you. We'll just get that old contestant to host, Topher or something like that. The producers also decided to tell you that you will have total authority to do as you please for the season…"
The voice on the other end just sounded more excited at that as they soon hung up.
"At least this job is easier than what my friends are doing" she murmured before getting to work on another project they wanted to start.
AN: so, as RR has moved along and so I decided here at the start of the summer I should try going back to TD syoc proper. Naturally, I won't blame anyone for not submitting after the cancelation last time, but this time I feel more confident in it. Last time I just didn't like how things were going or how they went, unlike with RR. so i thought I should give this another go
