Welcome fans of Emperor to...CELESTIAL WAR! I spent the time from Emperor's ending to now working hard on several chapters for this and another story of mine. So enjoy the pop culture and internet culture references, meet some new folks and come along for the ride!
The docks of Domino City were alive. Not with the usual workers, cargo haulers, and dock managers. No, it was also alive with teenagers. They were the students of the prestigious Duel Academy, founded by Seto Kaiba. Many of them wore different colored blazers; Red, Yellow, and Blue. Each blazer represented a different dorm and Egyptian God Monster card.
Blue; Obelisk the Tormentor, home to prep school students and considered the Cream of the crop.
Yellow; The Winged Dragon of Ra and where those who did fairly well on their entrance exams.
Red; Slifer the Sky Dragon. Once considered the worse of the worse. But that had all changed last year when a certain duelist arrived.
His name?
Jaden Yuki, Alias Supreme King of the Ring. The youngest pro duelist, he was hired by several groups of parents to find out what had happened to their missing children five years ago. The pro had gone undercover but he had met several obstacles.
He finally had no choice but to reveal himself after several students, led by a Criminal named Titan, kidnapped and molested four women; three from the girls' dorm and their headmistress.
This led to them regaining their memories of their past lives as Jaden's wives and an improved Slifer dorm, courtesy of Seto Kaiba himself.
After that, it was revealed that the school was made to protect three cards called the Sacred Beast monsters. Seven duelists of the school were chosen to protect the keys. They did their job and managed to prevent the beasts from being released.
Then came the Grad match. The duel was one for the ages between Zane Truesdale and Jaden. Their duel, however, led to the beasts being unlocked and used by Kagemaru.
Jaden dueled and bested the man, gaining the Sacred Beasts.
Finally, he dueled the Prince of Hell, Beelzebub to regain all the stolen souls.
Now it was time for his second year.
EODGX
A dirty blonde haired girl in a blue blazer, mini-skirt, and heeled boots walked among the students, weaving her way to the boat. She bumped into a red head, said red head snapping up.
"Hey, wat-Alexis!" The red head exclaimed, first angry at being bumped, then happy.
"Jasmine!" Alexis smiled.
The two hugged, making many nearby boys smirk and wolf-whistle. The boys were silenced by glares from the second years. The two were soon joined by a black haired girl, sporting a large smile. With a cry of 'Mindy', the three chatted, joined up by a small blue haired teen with glasses and a yellow blazer on and a black haired teen wearing a black blazer.
"Alexis! Glad to see you after the summer!"
The three turned to see the two.
"Syrus, Chazz! How was your summers?" Mindy asked.
The two said it was alright.
Another teen in a yellow blazer joined them. Chazz saw them.
"Bastion, ready for your third year?"
"Quite. How are you all?"
They gave replies in the positive. As they got onto the boat, Alexis noticed someone around Syrus. It was a blonde haired woman wearing a large hat and a dress. Jasmine and Mindy saw the woman too, jaws dropping. The woman noticed and winked. Syrus caught their gazes before looking behind. Seeing the woman, he blushed and smiled sheepishly.
"I'll...uh...explain in a bit."
The three nodded, entering the boat. After getting settled in, they rejoined in a large area. Chazz, Bastion, and Syrus were already there, Syrus holding out his deck.
"So Sy, mind telling us how you got Dark Magician Girl?" Mindy asked, sitting down.
Syrus nodded, telling them about the Duel Spirit Day last year. She had given him her card after everything was said and done. That made the five stare in shock. Syrus then told them of how he entered a tournament and got a new set of cards from Pegasus himself! THAT really threw the five for a loop!
"So, what are they?" Bastion asked, genuine curiosity on his face.
"They're called Techno-Mages and most of their power comes from Fusion and the latest form of Summoning, Synchro."
"Synchro?" Everyone echoed.
"Mhmm. According to Pegasus, this is one of several decks that have the power to do so. We're getting a teacher about it this year!"
"Oh wow. Betcha Jay has a few of the cards given his pro status." Jasmine pointed out.
That led to the next line of questioning. Where was Jaden Yuki?
EODGX
At the island, a short man was running to the docks, the large ship coming in.
The man was wearing a green vest with leggings and brown shoes. He panted, his beady eyes zeroed in on the boat and now the much smaller yacht next to it. As he ran, his PDA went off. Reaching into his jacket, he pulled it out, still running.
"Oui?!" He asked, a thick French accent coating his words.
"Bonaparte, this is Chancellor Midori. Where are you?" Midori asked, sitting at the desk.
"Currently heading to zhe docks, mademoiselle! I vant to escort our next generation of students to zhe main hall!" Bonaparte replied breathless.
"Ah, I see. Thank you and do not anger Jaden too much with your questions. While he has mellowed out somewhat, he still has a temper on him."
"Understood! Zhank you, mademoiselle!" Bonaparte said, hanging up.
By now, he had reached the docks, several of the students milling around. Catching his breath and then getting up onto a small podium, he spoke in a loud clear voice.
"CHILDREN! I AM YOUR FRENCH INSTRUCTOR, JEAN-LOUIS NAPOLEAN BONAPARTE! I AM HERE TO ESCORT YOU ALL TO THE MAIN HALL!"
Every one of the teens looked at the man, shocked. Escort? What was going on? Alexis though nodded. After the events of last year, the faculty no doubt wanted to update their security. Many of the older students all nodded, the younger ones looking confused.
"Correct, madam...?"
"Alexis Rhodes, sir."
Bonaparte gave a grateful smile at the teen. Explaining that after last year, security was tightened and many of the other instructors were prepping their own classes and in some cases, the dorms. Hence why he had been sent down.
"Now, if you would please-Zut Alors!"
Everyone turned to look at where the man was so excited about. They saw a cloaked teen walking up, eyes of gold shining. He wore a pair of blue jeans, a white tee, and had brown hair with a burnt top. Alexis gasped, rushing the boy and wrapping her arms around him. He in turn did the same.
"Jaden! Where were you?" She asked, gazing into his eyes.
"Had some last minute deals with Nappa, yes, he legally changed his name to that. Said his original name was getting too long for his business cards." Jaden said, smirking.
Bonaparte came up, all smiles.
"Monsieur Yuki, it is an honor to meet you. But perhaps this can wait until after zhe meet and greet for zhe new students, no?" The man said, gesturing to the couple's embrace.
Jaden nodded, taking his arms off his girlfriend and locking arms with her. With the French teacher at the head, all of the students walked to main campus.

Midori looked out as the students walked in, smiling as she caught Jaden with Alexis. One by one, the new and old were seated, looking up at her. Sighing, she stood up, walking to the podium, the rest of the staff behind her.
"Greetings everyone. I know last year this was done by screen, but this year, I wanted to make it a tad more personal." Midori spoke.
Telling them that she was the chancellor got some shocked cries from the previous students. Raising her hands to stall the questions, she explained that Sheppard needed some time off to set something up. It was bound to take up most if not all of the school year. What it was, she had no idea but it did involve both Industrial Illusions and Kaiba Corporation. In addition to her being Chancellor, she gestured to a man beside her.
"Everyone, I would like you to meet Doctor Adam Fudo, the man behind the next generation of summons, Synchro Summoning. He is here at Central to be both the Synchro Summon instructor AND our newest Vice-Chancellor. Please, give him a round of applause."
Everyone applauded, the man walking up with a wave. He was dark skinned, had hair pulled back in a ponytail and sported glasses. His clothing consisted of a white lab-coat, beige jeans, and black shoes.
"Thank you for the introduction, Miss Hibiki. Yes, it is true, I was one of several founding members of the latest method. While it has not gained much traction YET, I do expect our resident Pro and Younger Truesdale to surprise everyone here soon. Sorry for putting you on the spot there Syrus."
All of the previous students turned to two, Jaden giving a half hearted wave while Syrus just blushed, smiling.
Midori took back over, introducing Bonaparte once more and saying he and Miss Rosa Hernandez was teaching two new language courses this year. She bade farewell and to get to know the older classmates. She then introduced two new members for Robotics and Business. With that, the assembly came to an end.

Jaden and the group were all outside now, looking at the new students as they exited out. Many were excited to be there but scared at seeing him. A couple of bolder ones came over.
Their 'leader' was a blue haired boy with green eyes. He wore a Slifer Red uniform, but had it opened to reveal a cream colored shirt underneath. On his hands were a pair of white fingerless gloves, cream colored jeans and red sneakers with a white stripe on them.
"Hey there! I'm Maurice Oglive." Maurice said, a large smile on his face.
The group introduced themselves to the boy. A girl at Maurice's side chuckled. She was of fair skin, had blue eyes, red hair in a bun, wore a Obelisk Blue outfit, but unlike the Girls' uniform, she wore dark blue camo pants with a pair of flat boots.
"We really don't need to be introduced to you, Mister Yuki. Everyone worth their dueling salt knows you. I'm Salome Alice Cornwell."
"Please, call her Sally." Maurice said, chuckling.
The next one to introduce himself was a blonde haired teen, darker skin with blue eyes, wearing a Yellow Blazer, though it was shaped like a uniform.
"I am Anthony DePardieu."
Chazz looked up at that, stating that sound French. Anthony nodded, stating that his family was from France. But due to his hometown being New York City, he didn't have much of a French Accent. Here, a girl with tanned skin, blonde hair in a long ponytail, green eyes, wearing the Girls' uniform with a cowboy hat on her back, laughed.
"Not true, Sugah! Ya do got an accent, ya'all just don't like using it publicly."
"Bonnie..."
Salome introduced them to the girl. Bonnie Raboh, girlfriend to Anthony. She gave a wave as a large teen with fair skin, purple hair, green eyes walked up, wearing a Yellow Blazer with purple jeans and gray sneakers.
"Howdy. Names Ronald Tusk." Ronald said, a small smile on his lips.
There was a sudden commotion and everyone heard a loud voice.
"KEEP YOUR GRUBBY PAWS OFF OF HIM, YOU BIMBOS!"
Salome slapped her face, groaning. From the large crowd, two more figures walked up, one boy, the other a girl. The girl had tanned skin, blue eyes, red hair done up by a yellow bowtie, and the girls' uniform. The blazer was opened, revealing a black belly top, pants, two belts, steel-toed boots, all black. Under her arm was a young boy, blonde hair pulled back into two ponytails, blue eyes, a yellow blazer on with white jeans and sneakers much like Maurice's.
Salome gave a glare at the girl, who ignored it, setting the boy down. The Central Top could see that the boy was Syrus' height as he was fussed over by the girl.
"Fiona, really?!" Salome hissed.
Said girl looked up, an ugly scowl on her face.
"Couple of bimbos grabbed Miles, Sugar Queen! They were going gaga over him!"
"It's true, Auntie Sal." Miles said, sighing. "Fi got me out of there thankfully."
Fiona returned to the boy, a warm smile on her face.
"No problem, Babe."
Seeing the looks, Maurice explained. The girl's name was Fiona Vixen, yes, that was her real last name. The boy at her side was Miles Percival Rower. Hearing his name, he peeked around and gasped.
"J-j-j-jaden Yuki!?"
Fiona spun around, her own mouth agape.
"No fuckin' way!"
"Fi! Language!" Salome snapped.
Jaden chuckled, shaking his head.
"Yes, I am a student here despite being a pro. I actually came back to continue my aide of the Slifer Reds."
"Whoa, you teach?"
"Only a study group. Jay is like the rest of us." Mindy said.
Fiona smirked, stating that Maurice was gonna need all the help he could get. Maurice groaned, the rest all chuckling.
"You're not letting me live that down are you?"
"Nope!" Fiona said, popping the last words.
The two groups sat down, talking. Miles told them he was Fiona's boyfriend. Fiona wrapped an arm around the teen, smirking. She told them she had a rough childhood, bad parents and an even rougher teen life. Thankfully, Miles helped her out of a VERY bad spot in her lifetime. Jaden sympathized and understood her. He too had a bad childhood and teen life until recently.
"So-" Maurice began when there was a ear splitting shriek.
"MAURICE-KUN~!"
Both Jaden and Maurice cringed hearing the voice, though for two entirely different reasons. A dust cloud made a mad dash to the group, everyone in its path jumping out of the way. Maurice was knocked out of Salome's arms, landing hard on the ground. As the dust settled, they saw a girl with pink hair, green eyes and fair skin in a pink dress. Said girl's eyes were wide and sparkling.
"Amelia! Get off!"
"Oh, Maurice-kun, I knew you would be here! My psychic powers never lied!" Amelia squealed, making Fiona and Salome cringe.
"Oh jeez, her." Fiona muttered.
Jaden though was shaking. Alexis noticed, looking at him in concern. He looked up at her, eyes filled with something she thought she would never see.
Pure panic.
Amelia got up then, introducing herself to the group, glaring at Jasmine and Mindy, both who backed up. When she turned to greet Alexis, she froze, the smile on her face getting wider. Jaden, seeing it, snarled.
"Jadey-poo!" She squealed happily.
"Amelia Marian-Susan Thorn. I thought my restraining order against you was still valid!" Jaden snarled.
All it did was make the pink haired girl get closer to Jaden, her eyes sparkling.
"Oh, Jadey-poo, you know you cannot deny your undying love for me! It has been written in the stars! Both you and Maurice-kun are my soulmates! Besides, the order only worked as long as you were a pro! But here you are, a student! Null and void!" Amelia crooned, stepping closer.
Jaden snarled, backing up. Alexis herself was getting pretty mad too. Just who did this girl think she was?! She got between the two, glaring at Amelia. Said girl blinked.
"Uh, rude! You're in the way of my Jadey-poo!"
"First of all, ever heard of personal space? Second, why on God's green earth would you call him that?!"
Amelia laughed haughtily.
"Easy! I'm his girlfriend!"
Jasmine, Mindy, and Alexis looked at Jaden, disbelief on their face. Jaden sighed, shaking his head.
"That's not the truth and you know it, Amelia!" The boy snapped, explaining to the rest.
It had been one single date for a charity work. He had been bidden on by the girl's father, a rich man with more money then sense, but a good heart.
It was a disaster, the date.
She had been possessive, attacking anyone with a mace and a mallet, proclaiming that no one was touching her 'Jadey-poo.' He ended the date before the meal even got started. But she continued to stalk him and attack anyone he was cordial to. It got to be too much. So much so that he had to get his legal team to put a restraining order on her because she kept on disrupting his duels.
"Jeez." Syrus whispered. "I feel sorry for Jaden."
"No kiddin'. Girl is psycho." Chazz muttered.
"Oh Jadey, you say the nicest things!" Amelia said, smiling brightly.
Jaden scowled, backing away once again. Alexis saw and got in Amelia's face.
"Let's get something straight here. You and he, never gonna happen. He's off the market."
Amelia's eyes changed. They became cold and harsh.
"Oh really? Whose the slut who tricked my poor Jadey-poo?" The girl demanded.
"ALRIGHT! BACK THE FUCK OFF AMELIA! I NEVER NOR EVER WILL LOVE YOU!" Jaden snapped, his duel aura springing to life.
Amelia was blasted back, landing in a heap. Getting up, she saw Jaden standing protectively in front of Alexis, his eyes glowing.
"For your information...I'm his girlfriend." Alexis said, wrapping an arm around his.
The Central Top and the new students left the girl laying there in the dust.
Needless to say it was going to be an interesting year.
So, like i said, we meet some new characters and someone who has annoyed Jaden in the past. I'm not going to spoil too much here, but yes, I am introducing Synchro monsters for this story. Reason? Well, I wanted CDA to teach something new! I mean, no offense to the Anime, but if you watched enough of the Original, you'd know about Fusion right from Season 1. And yes, Adam Fudo is tied to Yusei Fudo. I'm not sure how long it has been between GX and 5D's, but I'm going with fifty years. Adam is Yusei's Great-Grandfather in this.
Now, for those of you curious, Amelia was mentioned back in the first story, but I never gave her name. I think you guys can figure out who I'm talking about. Nothing dueling on this one, but next? A certain pro comes to challenge Jaden and gets more then he bargained for!
