Baby, let the games begin...

Keep your mouth shut.

Those words can lead to two different paths, no matter in any perspective or atmosphere that you wish to toss the words into. The more intimidating part is the fact that either path can lead to one conclusion.

There's the positive impact. The words can get someone caught off guard, or even agitated or a tad upset. But, if it's followed correctly and manages to connect the way it should, the outcome ends with acceptance and understanding that the path you took was done correctly.

Then there's the negative impact, one frighteningly more common than the positive. The words can change from an attempt in hopes of a quick solution to a screaming match between multiple people, or even you and the conflict itself. It will lead to a moment where everything is quiet, and the conclusion comes earlier than expected.

That conclusion being,

It's. All. Your. Fault.

It's quite amusing, isn't it? That even after all that happened when trying to fix the conflict or attempting to conclude it, there's a way all of it twirls, and everyone's gaze shifts to place the blame.

But, where are my manners? Another mistake on my end. Allow me to introduce myself before I dive any further into my story.

I'm Cloudjumper, sometimes called CJ by a few friends of mine.

Recently, I had come here to this large, ongoing, and growing village known as Berk, for the first time after 20 years since I last saw it. Truthfully, it had grown more than I expected from how far my memory can dig up, along with it not being on fire.

My upbringing was in result of our previous alpha's death, the challenger using their power granted from the kill to telepathically toy with me and hundreds of other dragons on our original land.

Everything was blank after that moment, my mind clouded with visions of gray and red shades of the world, a large blurr visually and mentally for me to never break out of. If the truth is told, I thought I wasn't gonna make it out. I thought that was how I'd live for decades, until my dying breath.

But once I broke free from the trance, I didn't know what I was seeing, before I saw the new claimed alpha within the water, staggering as the madman, Drago Bludvist, yelled from the top of the Bewilder's head.

That's when I saw him.

The sunlight beginning to peek through the clouds shined its reflection off his darkened scales. A bright electric shade of blue drawn from the middle of his tail, trailing to the back of his neck. A symbol of power, a symbol of leadership, a symbol of dominance.

Bolt, after bolt, after bolt struck the large feral beast, the madman yelling for them to fight back against the Night Fury. The large being hadn't gathered the strength, but the roar calling for the dragons in the region was enough to remind everyone within 30 miles who was in charge.

Following the command, we all collectively took a turn at the creature. Firing our own elemental strikes at the Bewilder until it howled out in defeat, giving into submission. With one strike, the Fury's blast came in contact with the horn of the large creature, striking it clean off.

Finally, roaring at the larger opponent, the Beast submitted to the Fury and plunged into the sea, causing the Vikings of the village to cheer out with the knowledge that they had won this attempt of war, and that they were currently safe.

Once we all landed, allow me to state that I was proudly the first one to see the new alpha as he entered the village, the small human climbing off of his back as the other villagers rushed to him. Although, my gaze was too busy locked on him.

Toothless, was his name. I don't know if that was the name he was given, or if that was his birth name. Even then, such a rare title to happen in the first place to have a name at birth.

"How do I look?"

Those words quite confused me as I saw a smile form over his lips. I couldn't help but do the same, slowly lowering my upper torso and head to the ground in a respective motion, before speaking up myself to answer the question that he had asked me earlier.

"Stunning, my alpha."

After saying that, I heard the slight chatter before heading the sound of shuffling from all around me, taking note that the other dragons within the region had done the same that I was doing, bowing their heads in respect.

"Heh, Alpha," I heard Toothless speak up in a quite amused tone, going quiet for a moment before he spoke up again. "I like the sound of that."

Once I rose my head, my gaze looked back to him, before I raised my head to the sky, feeling my throat beginning to heat up before I launched the stream of flames upwards, a few dragons following up and combining it with mine to work as a beacon.

This was a mark of a new start of the lives of many dragons, from the cove where we had originated from. A new life, a new era, a new home.

And that's how it all began.

Hello everyone!

Before everyone gets confused about what this is, allow me to specify. This is a rewrite of Wings of a Fallen Angel, a fanfiction I wrote back in the Summer of 2019. But that's not the reason I'm placing this warning here.

This here is a warning for the new readers that happen to stumble across my fanfiction without knowing what the old one was about. I want to elaborate that this is a more detailed rewrite where the plotline remains kept, but again, that's not the issue here.

In this book, we will be speaking about topics that may not make everybody comfortable during reading, even if many others don't find it remotely offensive or uncomfortable. The elements this story will contain in the future will be listed below, you have been warned.

Sexual Assault

The biggest thing og-readers know about this story when I wrote it is the fact the story is about Toothless, our main character's love interest, who is sexually assaulted by his mate during the time and undergoes a terrible mindset of pain and regret. Although in the original, it hadn't looked as important as it should've been.

In this version, we will be diving further into Toothless' pain and suffering of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from the assault, resulting in Toothless being tenser and cautious about who to trust and if he will be able to grow from what, he believes, he threw himself into.

Sexual Content

Generally, without the factor of sexual assault, we will be witnessing a fair amount of sexual hints and moments throughout the fic. Sex scenes will not occur in this variant of the story, as I am not in the mood to be harassed by Critics United. Although, the Sex Scenes can be found on Wattpad.

Violence

While slight fights will occur within the storyline, that is not necessarily the violence I am referencing to. We will be seeing a lot of bloody moments with Cloudjumper as he continues to clear his path and clean the blood left behind..

Language

As predicted, the swearing done by characters will happen but will not be overdone. Just to clear things up.

Abusive Relationship

Along with the issue involving SA, there will also be signs of an emotionally and mentally abusive relationship between Toothless and his first mate. Again, this may unsettle viewers and I heavily apologize if I do in the future.

With these warnings all into place, you may begin!
