Okay so, I know I've got a story that's currently running, but I've been having writers block for a while now (I haven't updated A New World in a month, I know, I'm awful) but I just can't seem to get inspiration for that story at the moment. I don't want to force it either and write something just to have something, because I know that that won't be as enjoyable. I've thought about picking up where I left off with other unfinished stories from a long time ago, but I might do that when I've rewritten them and stuff, not sure, I'm not promising anything at the moment. However, I have been playing around with a few ideas for new stories for a while now and I thought, why not use one of those ideas while I can't seem to continue what I have going on, so I can provide at least something for whoever is interested.
So here ya go, I've decided to put in a prologue chapter, because this story is going to be a bit different from the other stories that I've written over the years, I've always sticked to the classic "fairytale" world, so I thought why not switch it up a bit, make it a bit more realistic and stuff. In this story the main characters that I'm going to use (Daisy, Peach, Rosalina) aren't princesses, they're just regular people. Rosalina is the oldest of the group, around 20, while Peach is 19 and Daisy is 18. The other main characters (Mario, Luigi) are still hero's, but they're not plumbers as one would've expected form a more realistic story, you'll see what I mean with the hero part in the story itself. I've also decided to not have Mario and Luigi be twins for once. Mario will be one year older than Luigi. Luigi will be 20 years old and Mario 21. Other main characters, such as Yoshi and Toad, will also be in the story. I decided because I've always imagined them as kids (because of the whole mama Luigi thing and Toad having such a high pitched voice), that they'll be younger than the other characters. Toad will be in his teens, around 16, and Yoshi will be a kid that's around 7 years old. I've also decided to add some of the Kong members in my story for a change, I've been wanting to add them into my stories for a while now but I never knew how considering that they're, you know, apes. Well, in this realistic story they're obviously not going to be apes. Donkey Kong will be the oldest of the group, he will be around 24 years old. Followed by Funky Kong, who will be 23 years old. I've always thought of them to be 2 gigantic, muscular people, so that's how they will be represented. Diddy and Dixie will be a couple and they will be 20 years old. I've also decided to add DK's grandpa, Cranky Kong, just for the fun of it. His age will remain countless. Then lastly the enemies: the whole Koopa gang. I've decided to add them all, they're basically literally a gang whose never up to any good. Bowser is obviously the oldest and the leader, while his gang members (everyone except for Junior) are close by his age. Junior will be Bowser's only child in this story and he will be around 18 years old.
I think that's about it, other characters will be added along the way, but this information was necessary to follow the story, anyways as always, I hope you enjoy!
