Chapter 1: God From My Frustration
Disclaimer: I do not own Beastars or Dragon Ball Super/Dragon Ball Z, or Star Wars. This story will contain minor spoilers for Beastars due to characters currently only seen in manga being present.
"The sound of blaster fire could be heard outside the heavily armored personnel transport. The armor was colored like the desert sand that has become the normal for a country that was once lush with green. Honestly, I don't know how the people of the world ended up at each other's throats since I try not to be desensitized or demoralized with the state of the world, that and I am still young." Came the thoughts of an anthropomorphic wolf.
The wolf had grey fur around his face, on his back and legs with cream colored fur on his face and torso. He wore a brown camouflage armor made of a flexible steel filament. On his back was a large back of standard field equipment along with a med pack and a tan colored blaster rifle. Every other soldier in the transport was wearing the same armor and carrying the same equipment except they were holding their rifles.
"Can't wait to prove how much of a badass I am and go back home a hero to all the hot tiger women!" Boasted an anthropomorphic tiger.
"Bill has always been a bit of a showboat and loudmouth, but he helps keep the morale up at least. While he speaks of heroics and achievements, I know that he is fearful on the inside since he knows what he and all of us are about to do, what we could face, and what could happen to us."
"So, who do you think will get the highest kill count? Me with my skills or you Legoshi, the "Virgin Freak of Nature?!" Bill asked while putting his right arm on legoshi's left shoulder.
Some of the soldiers laughed while others were making silent bets to try to take their minds off what they all were about to experience.
"I would protest how he knew that, but at least I'm a little less tense now. That "Freak of Nature" title is pretty much known by everyone in my division and by my superiors due to my mortal defying strength, speed, and endurance. I was envied by the strong and feared by the timid during our training, but now the weaker of us are looking to me for protection and the strong respect me… to a degree.. pride is still a thing even at the mouth of hell it seems."
"Everyone arm up and get ready! We will be at site delta in 3 minutes." The CO called out behind the wheel.
Legoshi gently pulls out his rifle and carefully cradles it in his hands as to not accidentally break it.
"I have always had to watch my strength as I had the habit of effortlessly ripping doors of hinges when I was in elementary and middle school. I was given extra strength muscle suppressants, normally used only on roided out predators that were rampaging, but even then I still have to be extremely careful around others and property."
Legoshi looks towards the driver.
"It is because of this unprecedented strength and speed that I was drafted at the age of 17 even though you have to be 18 to be drafted."
"OK EVERYONE OUT! DOUBLE TIME!" Came the voice of the elephant CO.
The battle hungry carnivores went out first then Legoshi along with the herbivores behind him as if using legoshi as a shield.
"Am I ready to hurt another? To kill another?" Legoshi thought to himself as he entered a forward bunker to await orders.
"Legoshi! Good that you are here! We need some heavy hitters to charge the enemy front lines, we have not been making any progress advancing and I hear that you are a goddamn monster, show these bastards how much of a monster you are and lead a strike force through the front!" The snow leopard colonel ordered with some semblance of enthusiasm or anticipation.
"Yeah but the idiot can be so airheaded sometimes… I'll guide our monster to his prey!" Bill suggested.
Bill grabbed Legoshi's and pushed him to the makeshift barracks that was just a destroyed and hollowed out 2 story building. Bill went in the back and wheeled in a section of a barricade in front of Legoshi.
"What are you doing Bill? We are charging the front lines not fortifying them!"
"I know… you'll see." Bill stated with some confidence.
Bill ran out of the barracks and came back with a gazelle mechanic a few minutes later, wheeling in a tank with a blow torch connected to it. The mechanic looked confused for a moment until Bill whispered something into her ear and pointed at Legoshi. She nodded her head, took a piece of sturdy metal and welded it into a handle on the section of barricade that was wheeled out.
"Try it out Legoshi!"
Legoshi looked a bit confused at Bill.
"I know that you are a monster when it comes to strength, but that does not mean you are a juggernaut, and I haven't seen anything yet from you that suggests that you can move at light speed. So, let's use that arm of yours as a mobile titanium wall."
"You've been studying me?" Legoshi said with a raised eyebrow.
"I needed to find someway to get a leg up on you so that I could look good you know." Bill laughed a little sheepishly.
Legoshi went up to the barricade section and grabbed the handle. With little more effort than a gesture Legoshi lifted the titanium barricade.
"Like this?" Legoshi asked as he held the barricade in front of himself.
"Exactly! Now you can shield 5 people across as we charge forward."
Bill waved Legoshi over to follow him to where the others of the squad they were going with which consisted of 4 others, 3 carnivores and a Clydesdale.
The order was soon given and the squad charged forward with Legoshi in the very front acting as the tank while the 3 other carnivores watched the back and sides. Bill was on Legoshi's right side behind the barricade while the Clydesdale was on the left taking pot shots at the enemy as they advanced.
The sound of blaster fire became more deafening they pushed forward as enemy soldiers and placements concentrated more and more fire on them. After 2 minutes of moving forward across the desert landscape, Legoshi began smelling something foul that he never experienced before. He looked to his left and saw scattered bodies of both enemies and allies. On the right was the same story. The lifelessness of the bodies scared Legoshi immensely as flashes of memory passed through his head as he imagined what he could have done to those he hurt in past.
"AHH DAMNIT MY ARM YOU BATARD!" Bill roared as a soldier, who managed to slip past the barrier when Bill and the Clydesdale were taking cover, had clipped his shoulder.
Legoshi, fearing to see others wounded, instinctively swirled the shield to his right and bashed the enemy soldier in the head enough to knocked them out and leave them bleeding on the sand.
Feeling as though he could have done more to prevent Bill's injury, that was an inch deep into his flesh and cauterized.
Feeling as though he could do more to prevent more injuries Legoshi began to run faster and bash anything that was in front of him.
Things were going well so far for the squad as reinforcements slowly supported their flank, but that all changed when the group could see a barrage of missiles heading straight for them.
"TAKE COVER!" Bill shouted.
The others got up uncomfortable close to Legoshi as they braced for impact. Legoshi could withstand the force of the blasts but the barricade could not as one missile broke the shield in half and another exploded a few feet behind them, knocking everyone several feet away while sending shrapnel into their bodies and burning their flesh. 2 of the carnivores died instantly while the other lost her left leg. The Clydesdale lost his right leg and Bill lost his right arm and left hand. Dozens of pieces of shrapnel impeded themselves in Legoshi's back and legs.
Everything felt hot and blurry to Legoshi as he laid bleeding on the ground as he tries to stay conscious. He soon felt the grip of a large bear's hand over his throat as he is lifted off the ground. He could see the mix of savagery and extasy in the bear's eyes as he attempted to choke the remaining life out of him. He saw that the remainder of his squad was facing similar circumstances as they were being beaten and mauled to death.
"Why does it have to end like this? So dark and unfulfilling?!" He thought to himself.
"It does not have to be you know." Came a voice that sounded a lot like his own.
Legoshi saw through his mind's eye a shadowy figure slowly approach from behind the bear.
"How long are you going to keep holding back? It certainly not doing you any good or your friends."
The figure comes up to Legoshi's face and encircles him.
"I.. I can't….I.. won't kill" Legoshi protested.
"All because you fear your own power? For what? Because of what you are told? What you did to a friend's arm? No… I know why."
" Stop..!"
"Because deep down you fear that you would leave nothing left for yourself to enjoy."
The figure grasps Legoshi's shoulders and leans into his left ear.
"You have held this tension inside for 17 years because you felt like you had to even though you secretly wanted to let it free like a child with a bike. Look at where your hesitation has gotten you… dying along with the ones that depended on you."
"I….I….I" Legoshi whimpers on the inside.
But the tone of Legoshi's inner voice began to slowly turn to one of fury.
"That's it Legoshi! Get Mad!" The shadow cheered as it slowly wrapped its form around Legoshi.
"This world has tied you down and wants to take everything from you."
Everything goes dark for Legoshi
"Let go… let loose." Legoshi says in his mind.
"And?" The voice asks.
"Destroy" Legoshi growls.
Star Wars the Clone Wars: Savage Opress' theme plays
As the grizzly bear that is choking Legoshi feels his prey's life slowly slip away, he is suddenly alerted to Legoshi's eyes quickly opening and starting to glow purple. The bear didn't have time to react as Legoshi slammed his arms down onto his arms, but instead of breaking his arms or hitting him, the bear's arms instantly began to dissolve into purple and light purple bubbles that vanished into nothing as quickly as they appeared.
Before the bear could scream in horror at his missing arms, the rest of his body vanished into nothingness and he knew no more.
A dark purple aura starts to envelop Legoshi and grow in intensity as he lands on his feet. His muscles began to grow rapidly until he was twice the size that he was before. Symbols begin to shine into existence on Legoshi now bare chest. What appears to be an emblem of three claw marks pointing down and three pointing up with a sphere in the center now glows brightly on his chest.
Legoshi looked up and saw the now startled enemies staring at him with shaky hands as they try to regain their composure. No thoughts passed through Legoshi's head as he slowly began to pick up speed as he ran towards the soldiers ahead of him.
The soldier, a male lion, started to rapidly unload blaster bolts at the purple glowing, hulking and now naked monster that was charging right at him. To his horror, whenever the blaster bolts touched the purple aura around the monster, they were instantly reduced to purple bubbles that vanished out of existence as quickly as they came, leaving the monster untouched. The lion began to run when the monster was just feet away and it appeared that nothing would work against him.
Just like the bear, as soon as the aura touched the lion, he was instantly reduced to nothing.
Legoshi did not get to feel the touch of life that he wanted to eviscerate with his own hands, but seeing the enemy disappear into nothing was cathartic too, but his body wanted more destruction. All nearby assailants, including the ones strangling the rest of Legoshi's squad began to concentrate fire on the now much higher priority target, but as they thought that they needed to just pile on the fire onto Legoshi to kill him, all they managed to do was draw his sights to them as he charged them. One by one and at increasingly frightening speed they were dissolved into nothingness like cotton candy in water.
Song stops
Bill slowly opened his eyes as he regained consciousness. The first thing that greeted his eyes was a barrage of missiles head straight for a massive wolf with a purple aura surrounding him. Bill was dumbstruck as the missiles dissolved into nothing as they contacted the aura surrounding the beast.
"L..Legoshi? Is that really Legoshi?" He said shakily to himself as he slowly picked himself up.
Once Bill was standing upright, he looked to see Legoshi charging the enemy fort like a purple fireball as anything that stood in his way, soldiers, blaster bolts, missiles, explosions, tanks, barricades, boulders, even pieces of mountain blasted off to slow his advance were all reduces to nothing in less than a second.
" Heh… I guess he really is a juggernaut!" Bill laughs as he sees a hippo soldier trying to run back to base.
"Missed one you idiot." Bill chuckles to himself as he weakly pulls out a blaster pistol and shoots the enemy soldier in the head with his right hand.
Meanwhile on a floating isle the size of a planet in a system millions of lightyears away.
The trees of this world had a large variety of vibrant colors ranging from lime to lavender. The trees were accompanied by the same vibrant colors of grass. Sitting on the bank of a massive lake is a large anthropomorphic kamado dragon, roughly 7 feet tall, wearing a regal vest with shoulder pads stretching a foot away from each shoulder that has a tan as its primary color with a brown outlining that goes through the right side of the vest with a grey circle next to it on the top. He wore baggy, yet formal looking pants that were pale blue in color along with a waistcloth and a front cloth stretching from underneath his best down to his knees that are lime green in color. Along with white boots that went up a foot past his heels he wore green Potara earrings even though he has no visible ears.
"Still awake Gouhin?" Said the kamado dragon with some concern but more teasing.
"Still alive Gosha?! Yes?! Then do not ask dumb questions. We both know the only reason why I'm awake and you're not dead." Came the voice of a slightly annoyed anthropomorphic panda.
The panda in question, Gouhin, is wearing a set of simple robes that stretch down past his knees and are a simple tan color. Over his robes is a long vest that makes a large "X" shape hugging his frame that have wide shoulder pads that is black with white outlining. A piece of long cloth, that has an orange rectangle reaching down one third the length of the cloth, outlined in a gold color, and has the symbol of was looks like 3 orange claw marks going down and 3 going up with a white circle in the middle that is towards the bottom that ends at a triangle head, stretches from around the neck to the top of his knees. Underneath the cloth he has a waist cloth that is dark blue in color. He is also wearing white and black boots that reach up to a few inches below his knees. Lastly, he has a light blue halo floating behind his head while also holding a long staff that is gold on top and bottom and white in a large middle portion with a black sphere and halo vertically around the sphere floating on top of the staff that he holds in his right hand.
"Yes I know, even though Kyuu was forcibly removed as Destroyer of universe 13 by Zeno for her Hostile behavior towards everyone even towards Zeno himself, I am still alive and you are still awake can only mean there was another candidate for Destroyer before she was erased. And that was….ummmm…."
"17 universe standard years ago." Gouhin finished.
"Have you had any luck finding them?" Gosha asks sincerely.
Gouhin dead pans towards Gosha with a "are you serious" look on his face.
"No Gosha! I thought that I would just sit here and talk with a pain in the ass for all eternity instead of having a purpose. What do you think I have been do… Wait… do you feel that?!" Gouhin was ranting until he felt a familiar kind of energy.
" Huh?... o.. O yeah now I feel it! That is definitely the signature of a destroyer, but it feels pretty far away."
"Welp I guess I should go take a look at what I will be dealing with." Gouhin stated as he got up off the grass and flew off at inconceivable speeds to the point where he looks like a rainbow-colored comet stream to those who could even keep up.
"Could you not have just looked with your staff first?" Gosha asked telepathically.
"I would rather see them for myself face to face rather than relying on my power for a first impression…. Besides it's more fun this way."
Back to Legoshi
5 minutes later:
What once was a heavily fortified base 2km in diameter was now nothing more than the sand upon which the base was built as there was not even ruins or sighs of battle left. The only thing left in the area that was not sand was Legoshi, still in an instinct driven desire to destroy.
With nothing around him that he could see except sand, Legoshi turned his attention to the very earth itself as he raised his right fist into the air. Inches before his fist touched the ground, a column of light quickly yet gently landed 4 meters away from Legoshi.
"You know that you would destroy this planet if you did that right?" Came a voice from the pillar that seemed eerily calm for what the voice said.
A low growl escaped Legoshi's mouth as he looked up to look at the pillar of light, but before he could stare at it directly, the light instantly vanished, leaving behind the visage of a panda in robes, vest, halo, and staff to take its place.
"hmm… a boy, not even a full-grown adult by mortal standards. He has already achieved destroyer form by himself which is highly unusual but not impossible." Gouhin thinks to himself.
Gouhin takes a quick glance at Legoshi as he looks ready to charge at Gouhin.
"Why is he naked?!... Don't tell me he has so little control over his Ki that he actually had his own Hakai destroy his own cloths… *sighs* looks like I'm going to have to start with the basics with him."
Legoshi charges Gouhin and prepares to through a right hook.
"Let's see what you can do boy." Gouhin Challenges Legoshi.
Legoshi reaches Gouhin and throws a right hook towards his torso, but Gouhin effortlessly side steps it and pushes Legoshi's back, without turning around, which causes Legoshi to stumble forward and fall into the sand face first.
Gouhin turns around and sees Legoshi already on his feet but looks a little startled for a few moments before charging again, this time with enough speed to instantly vanish from mortal eyes, but to Gouhin he was still so very slow.
"Not used to something being able to touch you like this?!" Gouhin shouts at him while gently pushing away an uppercut.
Legoshi's next move was a fake out even though he has never trained to use martial arts as he goes for a jab but in the middle of the jab switches for a leg sweep. Gouhin easily steps over it one leg at a time as if he were simply stepping over slow moving rope.
"His form is sloppy and unrefined, but he seems to improve as the fight continues, or at least adapt."
The little spar between the two continues as Gouhin gauges Legoshi's fighting capability.
"He is fighting instinctively which is good, but his will is unrefined and chaotic like fighting a rampaging animal, so at least he has instinct going for him but not much else. He does not have a grasp of his own Ki so there is that to work on…. *sigh* at least I will have plenty to do now!" Gouhin thinks to himself as his attitude changes from pessimism to optimism.
Gouhin vanishes from Legoshi's sight and before he could start trying to find his target, Legoshi feels a sharp pain on his shoulder before everything went black. His aura washed away as he rapidly began to shrink to his original size as he fell to the ground unconscious.
"I know where you stand now. You can take a rest now." Gouhin says after chopping the back of legoshi's neck.
"Consider yourself hired." He says to himself as he throws Legoshi over his shoulder.
"Let him go Now!" Came a voice from behind Gouhin.
Gouhin turned around and saw a tiger pointing a blaster at him.
"I'm afraid I can't do that mortal. He is very much needed elsewhere."
"What the hell do you mean elsewhere? Why would a robed panda need him for? He is my Comrade and brother at arms and I'm not letting him get kidnapped damnit!" Bill shouted in anger.
"I'll tell you what. If you can be strong enough or resourceful enough to follow me then I will let you stay with him. Until then take care of yourself mortal." Gouhin says with a two fingered salute.
Gouhin shoots off into space like a rainbow comet with Legoshi over his shoulder, leaving behind an angry and bewildered Bill who tried to fire at Gouhin but instantly found out once he shot that it was pointless as Gouhin had vanished completely even before the blaster bolt was no longer visible.
Author's notes: In this crossover, Zeno destroyed 5 universes, not 6, thus leaving a 13th universe still existing which is where this story takes place. Hope you enjoyed the chapter and that you will enjoy the next.
