Chapter 1–The Woman who lived
she couldn't belive it, James was dead.
Lily Potter was currently standing in front of her baby's crib, she only recently found out her husband died. now The dark lord was coming for her...no...her baby...that was even worse! her baby hasn't even been on this world for one whole year! how can she already go?! Lily sobbed and sobbed.
she was cursing Dumbledore for taking her wand and was cursing herself for letting him do so.
suddenly she heard the front door begin roughtly pushed open.
"Stop hiding Woman! and give me the kid! you won't be able to hide forever anyway! you're here, I know you are! and I will find you!" Voldermorts voice echoed in the abandoned apartment and Lily began to shake. wide-eyed, she looked around the room, trying to find something, anything. to keep her safe.
suddenly, she saw the invisibility cloack in corner, her eyes lighted up, she picked harriet from her crib as fast as she could and ran to the well hidden corner behind the crib, sliding down the wall she hurriedly wrapped the cloack around them both as Voldermorts Footstepts got closer and closer. as the door was kicked down, a very tall man came in, he was wearing a cloack, his face wasn't visible but his pale skin was. the dark lord. the dark lord stood few inches away from Lily...only if he could move in the room it'd be enough to make him realize he wasn't alone.
Lily's eyes clenched shut. 'God please! let him go away! let my baby live! please God!" She began to pray. soon she heard footsteps leave the room and she let out shaky breath, never daring to at least peek out of the cloack or open her eyes.
soon she heard men yelling, they sounded familiar. Sirius and Remus! Lily couldn't help but smile. she opened her eyes, only to be greeted with a terrible sight.
curses and hexes were flying left and right in whole house, Remus was in his werewolf form, he had some of his pack with him. and Voldermort was loosing.
suddenly, there was ear splitting scream and then everything went quiet. Lily was shaking. looking at the doorway wide-eyed. she didn't know what happened, who's scream was that. well, it definitely wasn't Tonks, as the yell was Man's. but still, she was scared.
suddenly, Sirius came running in.
"Lily?!" He called loudly. he was followed by Remus, Tonks, Peter and mad-eye.all looking rather worried. Lily let out the sight she didn't knew she was holding,
she took her cloack off and gave a weak smile.
"I'm here guys..." she said.
"thanks merlin!" Remus said and ran up to her, helping her up.
"is the baby ok?!" tonks asked, Lily smiled and looked down at the Sleeping Harriet in her arms. "she's just fine..." she said, and then, it was like she was hit with a heavy object, her eyes widened. "Voldermort! w-what happened to him?!" She asked in panic. Sirius sighed. "Well...he...he vanished..." "vanished? that all?" Lily asked confused.
"Yes, but I suspect he died. he was left really weak, I already arrested all the death eaters outside." "Oh alright" She clamed down. suddenly her eyes went wide again,
"Lucius! where is he?!" She asked in panic.
"don't worry, he isn't arrested, I let him go, I know he was a spy for us" Peter said with a smile and Lily clamed down for once and all.
it's been 5 years since, Harriet and Fleur, her dear cousin, were sitting in Harriet's room and playing with all the different kind of toys Harriet had while Lily and Apolline were sitting in a guest room and talking about their kids future, Lily, with help of Sirius has remade and redesigned the Potter Manor, so now it was more Beautiful than ever.
"I'm guessing, Lily dear, that you'll be sending Harriet to Hogwarts?" Apolline asked as she took a sip of her tea. Lily sighed, "no actually, I don't trust Dumbledore. I feel like he's trying to purposely pull apart my family. I mean, he did took my wand and try to take James's cloack to 5 years ago...I don't know what will he try to do with Harriet. I can't risk it." She said sadly. Apolline hummed.
"then...what are you planning?" lily shook her head with dissapointed look "I don't know..." she said sadly. Apolline smiled, "you know, I'm planning to take Fleur to BeauxBatons academy, she's turning 11 in a year. I recommend you taking Harriet there too you know, you won't have to worry about Dumbledore there, Olympe Maxime, current headmistress of the school is a lovely woman, she will take care of Harriet just fine." Apolline said with a smile.
Lily's look changed back to hers "Apolline Darling, that a great idea!" She said with a grin. causing Apolline to smile back.
