Hi, I'm Dipper. Our parents told us that they were sending Mabel and I away for the summer. So they decided to send us to our Great Uncle Stan. They sent us to a small town in Oregon known as Gravity Falls.

Apperently, he owns this gift shop known as the Mystery Shack, and it's where we will be staying. I'm not quite sure why they sent us all the way from California to Oregon. I've asked and they always told me to finish packing, even though I was already done. Mabel's the one who takes forever to pack. She sat in our room for three hours trying to figure out if she should bring Mr. Fluffles or Ms. Pancake. She settled on both...and five others.

The Mystery Shack is located at the edge of Gravity Falls on 618 Gopher Rd. Weird how there isn't a zip code though...

Okay so we made it to Gravity Falls and Stan wants us to call him 'Grunkle' because "Time is money and Great-Uncle takes too long to say." He led us to an empty room in the shack, also known as the attic, which is actualy much better than I thought it was going to be. It's just like our room back home. Small, but enough room to house both of us and whatever else we want. It's perfect.

Mabel has warmed up to Grunkle Stan pretty quick, however, he seems like a difficult person to get used to. First of all, he's, like, sixty, and secondly, he's obssessed with money. But, if Mabel can warm up to him, maybe I could too. I've never been very good with talking to other people besides Mabel but, if I hang around him enough, I should be able to manage...hopefully. Let's not get my hopes up too high for this one.

Stan took us on a tour of Gravity Falls. He said if we're going to stay here for three months, we might as well get to know where everything in the town is.

The weird thing is, everyone calls it a town when it's more like a city. Sure, the population is kind of small, but Gravity Falls has it's own mall. Towns don't have malls. The streets are kind of dangerous too. There's all sorts of stuff lying on the ground that someone could easily use for a weapon. Or you could just trip on it. Still not safe though.

Stan said that we could help ourselves to anything and that we would need to help out in the shack sometimes. Not that I mind or anything. He has a vending machine and we could take whatever we want from it. We just need to tell him to restock it is all.

He introduced us to Zeus, who is an employee at the Mystery Shack. Then, the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen came in through the door. She had the loveliest red hair, green eyes and a flannel shirt. I couldn't ask her name because I kept stuttering, so Mabel did it for me. Her name is Wanda. The most wonderful person I ever met works at the Mystery Shack. It's official: I like this place now.

Author's Note

Okay, so I just finished Gravity Falls, like, three weeks ago, including the shorts, and it was AWESOME! Thanks, Alex, for a wonderful tv series!
Anyway, I thought of this yesterday, so I wanted to get it out of my head. Just a collection of one shots.
