Lucy POV

" You really think you can actually win? I'm the king of dragons... I've bathed in their blood, Destroyed all the dragons, and as if this littlerfire dragon could oppose me? "

I looked over. There was Natsu, unconscious on the ground, the other dragon slayers slumped over out cold as well.

"Na-na-na-Natsu? "I said in disbelief. No one ever beats him... he always... he Always gets up . Not even Zeref defeated him...

"The terror in humans eyes has always amused me.." Acnologia said, suddenly wrapping his one arm around me, "You know. You smell kind of like that filthy dragon over there. I think I'll kill you too, dragon lover... "

"No! Please no. Natsu!!!" I yelled as his hand started closing around my throat...

"Lucy, wake up! It's a dream." said a familiar voice.

"Lushiiii... it's okay" said another familiar voice.

"Happy, go get some water. I've got her" the first voice said again. The sound of it comforted me. That voice has always comforted me... Natsu... My eyes fluttered open and there was his, onyx and staring in to my watery brown ones. Concern was written his gaze.

"Natsu..." I said tears pricking at the corners of my eyes as his toothy smile came across his face.

"Yo" he said, "are you alright? Happy is brining you some water. What were you dreaming about Luce?"

Tears started to fall as I sat up and wrapped my arms around him. His warmth flowed into me, soothing me, and burning away the fear. Natsu... you're okay...

"I was trapped, with Acnologia. You and the other slayers were beaten. Lying on the cold ground not moving. He... he... was trying to kill me next. He wanted to rip me apart. I called for help, you, but you were down" I stammered as the tears flowed faster.

"Luce... Acnologia is gone. It's been almost a year. You are safe. We are safe. Besides, I'd never go down..." Natsu said cupping my face with his hand. "I won't ever let anyone or anything keep me from protecting my family or you." He said his eyes Serious and voice assured. "Now, we need to leave its already first light, when you feel up to it I'll be outside waiting for you."

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"On a mission of course, we're partners!" He grinned.

"Lushiiiiiii !!!" The little blue cat yelled flying in carrying me some water, "are you okay??" He asked, tears in his eyes.

"She's alright Happy, let's wait for her outside." Natsu said patting the exceed on the head.

"Aye sir" he yelled as he flew out the window. Natsu turned back to me, " take your time Luce . I'll be right outside", he said jumping out my window. I wanted to yell at him for not using the door, but he is Natsu after all. He will still use the window regardless. Gathering my things I packed up, put on my belt and keys on as I headed downstairs.

"So where are we going?" I asked Natsu. He we was leaning against the wall arms folded wearing his one sleeve get up and of course Igneels scarf.

"Hargeon, where we first met! Apparently there's a job for us to pose as newly weds at this resort. People have been disappearing. They want us to find out why"

"Newly..weds?" I asked, in disbelief. Natsu doesn't even understand love, how is he going to play doting husband???

"Happy, stay with Wendy and Carla, we can't bring you on this one bud" he said grinning, "maybe she'll accept your fish while we're gone."

"Aye sir! I'll make it happen this time for sure!" He said flying off.

"Poor Happy." I said smiling as he flew away.

"Poor Carla" Natsu chuckled, "let's go"

"Ughhhhhh why Luce, why couldn't' we have walked????" Natsu said groaning in his seat. Motion sickness will always be his greatest weakness.

"Because walking would have taken ages! I want to pay my rent on time you know!" I said. Getting up I switched to his seat and pulled him down into my lap. "Close your eyes, this will help." I said running my fingers through his pink silky locks. Soft...

After everything with Zeref and Acnologia, he and I have seem different. Our partnership feels different. Looking down at him he relaxed as his dry Heaving slowed. Before long he was asleep. I gazed at his face. He always looks like a little boy when he sleeps. His scars though,on his neck and face, show he's been through so much. He's been so much for so many people. Especially me. My heart leapt suddenly thinking about all the things this man has done for me. Stop Luce. He doesn't feel that way for you. You're nakama only. Tears wanted to sting my eyes, but I held them back. I've loved this dragon slayer, guild member, friend, MAN, for quite sometime. When we thought he disappeared after Zeref left, my heart shattered into a million pieces. Since then being separated from him always puts me in a state of panic, thinking maybe I wrote his book wrong. We don't live together so when he goes home from the guild I panic because I won't see him until the next day. So far he's always returned to me. His eyes fluttered open as the train stopped.

"Finally!" He said shooting up, "let's get off the death trap, "ready wife?" He said grinning holding out his hand.

"Wife??" I stammered, as he grabbed my hand. Oh right... this mission is going to hurt...

Natsu POV

"Welcome to Hargeon Lovers resort and spa Mr. and Mrs.-"

"Dragneel!" I said quickly pulling Lucy into me wrapping my arm around her. "I'm Natsu and this is my wife Lucy". Grinning I glanced at Lucy, her face was as red as a tomato. I wonder what's got her so flustered.

"Yes Mr. Dragneel, we have your room ready, right this way." The attendant said as we followed her.

"The rooms are equipped with your own bathroom, a private hot spring and private balcony. There is a mini fridge, small Kitchen and complementary 'supplies' for lovers as well.

Love supplies? Why do we need supplies to love each other? Looking at Lucy, her face was as dark red as it could go, her eyes wide. When I tried to look at her she turned away. Why turn from me Luce?

"Enjoy your stay! Happy honeymoonin' " the attendant said walking back out our room door.

"Whoa this room is huge Luce, I'm going to go check out the bathroom!" I said deciding to give her some space. Walking in, I saw the large stone basin for bathing. Definitely big enough for two people... looking around I saw the large white cabinet. Opening it I now understood the supplies the lady mentioned...condoms, lubricant, and some vibrators. I may be an idiot but I know all out the birds and the bees. Igneel did teach me that... as well as master when I got older. He didn't want Gray or myself behaving stupidly. I've never really had the urge though to pursue anyone in that way...suddenly a flash of Lucy under me hair haloed out, crying out my name hit my mind. No, she's nakama, no. Blood rushed to mylower region..

"This is going to be a long week"... I groaned closing the cabinet, "Luce!!!! I'm gonna try this bath out it's massive!" I said stripping and turning the water on. I need to calm down myself... can't walk out there with my dragon on display...climbing in I sank into the warm water.

"Natsu you should see the hot spring-ahhh" Lucy yelled running in and turning around covering her eyes, " you idiot why are you naked??"

"I told to you I was trying the tub out it's massive!" I grinned, "of course I'd be naked, it's bath silly"

"Well I mean I don't need to see you naked Natsu" she yelled.

"Why not? I've seen you naked plenty of times, it's never bother me any," lies, " it shouldn't bother you either."

Is she sniffling...

"Baka," she said walking out of the bathroom with her face still covered.

"Lucy watch out for-"

WHACK!!!

"The wall..." I said standing up and getting out of the tub as she feel backwards I ran over and caught her.

"You okay?" I asked looking down at her.

"Eek" she said turning pink as she realized I was naked. Getting up she ran for the door.

"Guess I'm either ugly or she's never see a man before, which makes no sense cause she has all those Pervy melon books", I chuckled. Drying off I got dressed and walked back into our room.

"So-so-so," she's so cute when she stammers like that, "how about I sleep on the floor and you can have the bed." She said.

"Why do you have to sleep on the floor? Luce that bed is massive we can share it" I said grinning, "besides it is our honeymoon" I teased. She instantly turned red.

"I'm sleeping on the floor..." she responded grabbing blankets and her pillow.

"Night."

"Oiii hey now don't sleep on the floor, look if you don't wanna share at least let me sleep on the floor."

"Fine... " she said getting up and getting in the bed.

Ughh this is gonna be a long, and uncomfortable week indeed.
