BOOM
In a destroyed wasteland, where dust is falling down the sky, someone is slowly breathing after being wounded in battle. She starts to move, flinching when it hurts. And as soon as she in on her knees, a ship flies over her and crashes, the shockwave causing her to fall forward to the ground. The woman the quickly crawls on the mud and dirt, heading to a location. There, she sees someone else falling to the ground, gasping for air.
"No." She said.
As she was carrying a respirator on her, the woman grabs it and removes the other person's mask. The face of Neon Katt is shown, scars on her face. Neon gasps for air as the respirator is put over her face. The woman holds her hand.
"I'm sorry. Please forgive me."
Neon would continue to struggle breathing for a few more seconds, before her head drops to the ground and she closes her eyes, dying of her injuries. The woman then presses a button on her left wrist.
"Ozma!"
She continues to crawl in the mud.
"This universe is done for! It's up to the whoever's next of her list! They must be the one's to stop her!"
The woman then crawl to a nearby wall. She would then remove her mask, revealing Velvet Scarlatina, her hair combed over one side, revealing one of two scars on her head. Scars where her rabbit ears used to be at. Velvet painfully positions herself so that her back is on the wall. She then cover up the wound that's on her abdomen. Feeling that's she's not going to make it, she presses the button again.
"Ozma...you have to send the signal...yes. She's already destroyed 12 universes. This is number 13...do you have any idea how big the Multiverse is? A lot...so send the signal."
Velvet's breathing starts to labor as she rests her head on the wall.
"Remnant-2...that's where she's going next...they must be ready...they mu-"
She wouldn't say her last words, as she exhales her last breath. Velvet slowly slumps to the side until she is lying down on the ground, no longer living. The world suddenly begins to violently shake, causing the nearby ruins to break and crumble.
THE VANTAGE POINT
A sigh is heard as a man in a white suit watches on a screen, showing a world disappearing from it. Ozma lowers his head in defeat.
"Another world gone. And her getting closer."
Ozma raises his head and begins typing.
"Never give up. Computer. Find Remnant 2. Give me a status of that world."
"Understood."
The screen then starts swiping and swiping. Ozma waits a few seconds before the swiping stops. He sees a world similar to the one he saw dissapear. But more green and with oceans.
"Remnant-Two. Population: 4.5 Billion. In this world, the people of the planet never experienced the many tragedies on Remnant-Prime."
"And Team RWBY of that world?"
"Status: Active. All four remain together to this day. Though one of the them..."
A picture of Ruby Rose is shown on screen.
"Ruby Rose, had undergone a Semblance switch by means of a Dust explosion. She now possesses enhanced strength, agility and her senses have gone up. Though that last one, she is keeping a secret from her peers."
"And how long will it take...before she arrives?"
"...3 months, 2 days from now."
"Hmm...this world will be vulnerable by that time. We must alert our remaining forces. Send the signal. Have them assemble in the Turning Point."
"At once."
Ozma sighs and walks to a chair to sit down.
"Ruby Rose of Remnant-2 was chosen to lead for this mission. She will brief the others when the arrive at the Turning Point."
Ozma nods.
"...let's just hope it's not too late."
He then turns his head to a glass with alcohol in it. He reaches for it and aims it towards his opening mouth.
REMNANT-TWO
Soda enters the mouth of the drinker.
"How many cups is that now?"
Yang Xiao Long stops drinking and looks at the rest of Team RWBY, who are nearby with a cake next to them.
"Was that her 5th cup?" Blake Belladonna asked. "Or 6th?"
"I'd say...her 15th cup of soda." Weiss Schnee said. "If she has anymore, she'll develop cavities."
Yang groans in annoyance. "Fine." She places the plastic cup down. "It's just...we've gone through our first year in Beacon. How have we managed to accomplish that?"
Ruby puts her own cup down and walks to Yang.
"With determination...teamwork...and a whole lot of trust in each other." Ruby said.
Yang chuckles and gives a hug to her sister. "So true."
"And let us keep all 3 the same for this team in our remaining time, here in Beacon." Weiss said, smiling. "Now then...cake time."
Ruby notices that Weiss is slightly jumping. "Weiss...are you getting excited for cake?"
Weiss shrugs. "Eh. Got to have a favorite something. Right?"
"That is true." Blake said. "Otherwise, you become boring for the rest of your life. Now let's eat."
Team RWBY begin to walk towards the delicious cake. But Ruby's smile fades to shock as she stops moving. The rest of her team notices.
"Ruby?" Yang said.
Ruby begins to back away as images of destruction appears in her head. She grabs her head in pain and falls to her knees, yelling.
Yang quickly crouches down to help her sister. "Hey, hey hey. Ruby. What's wrong? Is it happening again?"
"Happening again?" Blake asks. "You mean it's happened before?"
Yang turns to Blake. "The past 4 years, it's happened. Most recently was a year ago. Before Beacon."
Ruby suddenly stands up, look of horror on her face.
Yang stands back up as well. "Ruby? What did you see?"
Ruby, shaking, turns to her team. "Death and destruction. World's crumbling...universes dying."
Her team looks at her with confusion.
"That's new." Yang said. "Ruby. What do you mean by 'universes dying'?"
Ruby rests her hands on he knees and does her best to calm down. She then takes out her Scroll and looks at a portal icon on the screen.
"You'll all know soon enough." She said, before taping on the icon.
Yang, Blake and Weiss looks surprised as Ruby is engulfed by a white light. They close their eyes for a second. And when the light is gone...so is Ruby.
"Where...where did she go?" Weiss asked.
TURNING POINT
In what appears to be a large rock in space, a facility lies on the surface. Inside a large room, where there is a table in the middle, the same white light appears. And Ruby is now in the room. She looks around and notices that no one else is there. Ruby then takes her cloak on and places it on the table. She rests her hands on the edge of a chair, which has her rose emblem and a 2 etched on it. Surrounding the chair are 9 other chairs, each with different emblems that Ruby is familiar with, along with numbers. She then focuses on a chair, with the same emblem as hers. But instead of a white background that she has, this emblem has a black background. And the word Prime is under the emblem. Someone appears and rests her hands on that chair.
Ruby sees herself, another Ruby Rose approaching the Prime chair. But this Ruby Rose looks older, her cloak replaced with a white one, and is wearing an eyepatch. Her right leg, underneath the knee, is replaced with a metal prosthetic, painted red. Ruby Rose of Remnant-Prime looks at her younger version of herself with confusion.
"So you're our leader huh?" Ruby-Prime said.
"Guess I am." Ruby answered.
"Then would you mind telling me what's going on?"
Ruby is hesitant to answer. But she eventually does. "Crisis."
Ruby-Prime reacts with shock, knowing what that means. She lowers her head, while Ruby looks at her, not knowing what to do next.
The Crisis is coming.
