Chapter 1: The discovery

The gods, the campers of both camps, the hunters of Artemis and the nature spirits had all gathered in the throne room by order of Zeus. Not even a month back Gaia had been taken down by the hero of Olympus Jason Grace and his 6 fellow heroes of the prophecy, Piper McLean, Leo Vdeaz, Hazel Levesque, Annabeth Chase, Frank Zhang, and Nico DiAngelo.

These 7 had fought Gaia together and after a long and fearsome battle Gaia was eventually sent back to sleep thanks to the sacrifice of Octavian who repented of his crimes and blew himself up taking Gaia with him. He was pardoned of his crimes and treated as a fallen war hero.

Many assumed that Zeus wanted to reward the heroes for there glorious deeds and as such were looking forward to a big party, although the more observent ones noticed the subdued mood of the Olympians and that sent warning bells ringing in their heads.

Zeus sent a bolt of lightning up into the air to signal the start of the meeting. All chatter instantly ceased and all eyes turned to him.

Zeus cleared his throat before starting.

"Greetings heroes, spirits and gods of Olympus. It has been a trying time, however thanks to the efforts of our children and great heroes ,Olympus is once again safe from harm. It is therefore only fitting that our heroes should recieve rewards for their great feats in saving us once again."

A great cheer rang out from everyone assembled at this statement with shouts of praise for the heroes causing them to turn red with embarrassment. This cheer was cut off by Zeus calling for order once again.

"however, this is not the time for that unfortunately "

Everyone felt a chill go down their spine at that statement

Zeus cast a sideways glance at his fellow olympians before speaking again.

"It seems that due to the fall of Gaia another primordial is moving against us" spoke Zeus looking at everyones reactions

Everyone stilled for a few seconds before pandemonium broke out and everyone started freaking out and screaming

"order, order" screamed Zeus trying to get everyone to stop but to no avail

"QUIET" came a loud scream causing everyone to stop and look at Hades who sheepishly rubbed his head after screaming out like that

" thank you brother " said Zeus after clearing his throat. " as i was saying" continued Zeus " we have no definite idea about who this primordial could be however as much as i hate to say this, we need to be prepeared"

Everyone was instantly awaiting Zeus's instructions

" we will need to ensure that the security at both camps is up to standard and begin trainning the younger campers for what is to come" said Zeus

Zeus then looked to Artemis before continuing" Artemis , you and your hunters will need to try and get as many recruits as possible and try to spot any suspicious activity, i would also like you to spend some time with your hunters at camp half -blood traing the younger campers" Zeus had barely finished before Artemis was already protesting " but Father the campers and hunters have never gotten along, those disgusting males always try and flirt with my hunters"

Zeus was instantly on his feet" ARTEMIS, this is about more then just your hunters, our top priority is getting as many people trained as possible and getting as many half- bloods to camp as we can". Artemis could only look down in defeat until a voice rang out. " what if we bring him back in"

Instantly everyone turned to Poseidon who was calmly sitting on his throne

"Bring who back in" questioned Athena , however she was ignored as Poseidon continued to look at Zeus

Eveyone took note of how Zeus, Hades, Hera and Hestia stiffined in their thrones

Zeus looked in his brothers eyes before asking " are you sure it is time". Poseidon merely nodded

At this point Athena was on her feet half screaming" who are you talking about ? "

Jason also asked the same question to his Father

Poseidon , Hades, Zeus, Hera and Hestia shared looks before nodding and turning to the stunned crowd

" We are talking about Poseidon's first born son" stated Hades with a calm look on his face
