"What are you doing?"
"Taking matters into my own hands." Jordan said through gritted teeth and flaring nostrils as he made his way to veruka, assessing the damage as he went.
"Cyper!"
"She's recovering." Cyperous said.
"Fine. Body scan. I need to know what we're dealing with here."
"You want me to assess for medical injuries?"
"Yeah. Do it now!"
"Okay, but what in the world are you doing?"
"Finishing the race." He said. The ground shook before them. Revealing a very wide circle off in the distance.
"What? Just one?"
"Just one."
"Okay well she's got internal brain hemorrhaging. Looks like her heart is overworking and one of her lungs is shot."
"That still doesn't explain how she can rewind time in the current state she's in." His eyes squinted before widening. "Unless Canaletto prepared for this again and was just biding his time."
"That's not possible." Urdu said coming into the room, everyone else waited outside of it at Urdu's request. "This device shows all hidden powers. It doesn't show anything new or intense."
"Can she rewind time?"
"Anything's possible."
"What do we do to stop it?"
"Offing her is the only way to go."
"I don't want to hurt anyone."
"You went into the army Jordan." Molly spoke up. "Surely you knew what they were going to have you do."
"I'm still a greenie Molly. My heart hasn't been hardened into a wall quite yet."
"Fair point. But what do you suggest? We could send her to the Crogs, however if she makes it out of there, none of them stand a chance. Unless they bow to her will." Aikka muttered.
"Yeah I don't see that happening"
"I've dealt with murder let me do it."
"Tenari."
"The sooner the better." He picked Veruka up. "I need a rope, rocks and a large body of water."
"Instead of killing her, why can't we erase her memories?" Arianna asked.
"Someone's bound to find her orb. You want to take a chance of her coming to power again, be my guest."
"Not with the orb. With that!" Arianna said, pointing to the glowing circle.
Sakki glanced at it ruffling his feathers trying to shake off the crazy hauntedness he was feeling by this whole situation. "Well then. I know everyone here has their own sneaky agenda, but just this once why don't we all work together?"
"What the devil?" Delabarte exclaed as the ground shifted, along with small pebbles, leaves, etc. It was forcfuk enough to scoot them backwards, as well as put the circle back under the ground.
"Oh no you don't." Jordan made it rise again. "She's getting stronger."
"I can see that."
"Dammit wait." Jordan said. "There is no Ultimate Prize. I was looking for a successor because my life was in danger. I was dying. As it stands right now. I cannot rewrite the code as it was the Creators decision. So whoever goes in there. Has to stay."
No one moved for a moment. "Sakki."
"Berou?"
"Mind lending me a hand?"
"You're going to do it?"
"Yes."
"Ah." Delabarte murmured. "He wishes to stay beside his girl."
"Correct. Come on Sakki, let's get moving."
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Sakki bellowed up at him.
"What other choice do we have?"
"I don't know. Drowning her seemed like the better option." He said. "All this for some girl?"
"You'd do the same if you had someone of your own."
'Highly unlikely.' Sakki thought to himself. The two of them stopped right in front of it with Sakki still flying in the air.
"You know. We could both go through it. Share it together." Sakki eyed him strangely. "I'd just have to get up close and personal with your head."
"What a weird request. Very well. Do as you must." Bei Nervous shifted himself. Almost falling off of Sakki's neck a few times. But he managed to finally get a grip. "Ready?"
"Let's do this."
