"Well... Back home everyone noticed how you disappeared since saying that you left to warn Sonic about Knuckles... We checked your lab, your monitoring equiptment and notes which led to us discovering that the one known as Robotnik has sworn his allegiance to Rava the Destroyer... After the Chaos Emeralds that the Master Emerald split itself into..." Bunnie explained as Sonic did a double take.
"Back up a moment... Rava the Destroyer? Isn't he just a myth?" Sonic asked as Tails looked his way.
"Did you think similar to the Master Emerald?" Tails pointed out and Sonic conceived.
"Can we pretend that we have humans here who have never heard of this Rava the Destroyer?" Tom asked as Bunnie gave a nod.
Bunnie cleared her breath and said "The story goes like this as we researched..."
Long ago in the world that was home to the Marble Zone there were the Lizards Clan who hadn't discovered the power of the Rings and thought that the people of their world were alone in the universe. They were led by the wizard caste and the warrior caste protected them. The Order of Owls came to their world for the first hiding place for the Master Emerald.
They kept guard until one member of the wizard caste called Rava began covetting the Emerald's power but he wasn't strong enough to go beyond it's defenses. Using deceit and manipulation he created dissent and took advantage of the chaos; stealing the rocks that powered their staffs to absorb their powers and the life of his fellow wizards until he alone remained and became immortal as a result.
He used his new magic to claim the Master Emerald and commanded the warrior caste as they laid waste to the planet; no structure survived and lava filled most of the planet. Rava planned to expand beyond the world before the Owls came back; a gruelling war as Rava lost his army and the Owls defeated him to take back the Master Emerald. They left as Rava alone remained as the sole inhabitant of his decayed world; unable to die or escape...
"So... Robotnik found this urban legend wizard... Irony must be in play since Robotnik has found another mortal enemy of the hedgehog to ally with; we heard as he told you that he claimed the life of your father." Knuckles spoke as everyone looked towards Sonic who sighed.
"...I guess I am sad that I never got to meet my real parents but I had Longclaw and now Tom and Maddie..." Sonic admitted and this caused Tom and Maddie to smile as they pulled him in.
"Thanks Sonic; we are glad that we met you and our other alien kids!" Maddie said as Tails and Knuckles joined in on the embrace but after they let go Randall cleared his breath.
"Sorry but I'm just curious... Rabbit whose parents named Bunnie... How exactly did you get those metal appendages? This might be too personal so if so I am sorry..." Randall asked and Bunnie sighed and gave a look towards Tails who suddenly looked nervous and didn't look her way.
"Excuse me; but can we go back to the subject on Robotnik being back and how he is apparently after 7 Emeralds?" asked one of the nearby GUN soldiers as aid were coming in to see to them.
"Oh right... Back at my old lab; we could use the computer to trace where the Emeralds could have ended up..." Tails pondered as Bunnie brought out a Ring ready.
"So interplanetary road trip adventure time!" Sonic said as Randall noticed Rachel getting her blaster ready but Randall put her hand down with a shake of his head.
"We will take care of your wife and stepdaughter while you accompany our friends there Randall." one of Randall's squadmates Drench as Rachel looked annoyed as Randall quickly gave them a kiss goodbye. There were agents recording the conversation to send to Commander Walters to see about how to continue.
In the forests of Florida; a group of poachers were setting up traps when they noticed a group of animals surrounded something in the ground. Gunshots scared them away as they looked to see what they were staring at and it was a glowing red Chaos Emerald; the leader carefully picked it up but then they heard blaster fire and they aimed their weapons only to be surrounded by Badniks.
Then floated down was Robotnik smirking as he was controlling the Badniks and in a rebuilt version of his flying mobile pod with Stone joining him. "So any of you fancy being the new Tiger King?" Stone asked joking as Robotnik raised an eyebrow as he faced him. "Oh yeah... Sorry sir but it was something that was all the rage over at Netflix not long after you were gone... If you want to look at real life evil such as yourself..." Stone explained as the poachers began firing at the Badniks with the bullets just bouncing off at them.
The Badniks fired and the leader yelled as he held up the Chaos Emerald and red blasts destroyed Badniks; he then looked at it in awe as he held it up. "I feel it... The power in my hands... I am power incarnate..." the poacher yelled as from behind he was blasted by Rava using his staff as he then snatched the Emerald from his hands. "Give me back my stone rock thingy...I warn you; I have bagged plenty of lizards in my time..." the leader warned grabbing his gun only to be blasted into dust by Rava using the Chaos Emerald.
"2 Emeralds down and 5 shall remain... I feel the power connecting and I will be able to track down the rest of the pieces to my power..." Rava yelled as he then faced Robotnik. "Get ready to leave underlings..." Rava yelled as he then placed the Emerald to join the other in a special high tech vest that he was now wearing underneath his vest.
Robotnik nodded as he smirked as his readings as the vest had a special purpose for later; plus he was reading the progress of his re-program of Project: Metal to serve him. Stone smirked with them as they then headed off as Rava opened up a new portal for them.
At Tails' world they were now in his old lab in a hut in his village; Tails went to check on the computer. "This isn't good... It says that Rava and Robotnik already have 2 Chaos Emeralds so far..." Tails muttered as he had his computer to track energy readings of where the Chaos Emeralds would have ended up.
"This is where you lived fox? Seems quite small..." Knuckles muttered looking around.
"Yeah... Just me here as I lost my parents when I was really young..." Tails muttered as Sonic put a hand on his shoulder.
"Well you got 2 best buds here who know about losing loved ones when we were young..." Sonic replied and Knuckles smiled with Sonic and Tails gave them a smile as well. "Plus is this where you spied on me which isn't at all creepy BTW." Sonic joked as the Wachowskis shook their head.
"You are one to talk consider how long you spent spying on us all in Green Hills..." Tom reminded him but then there were animal creatures in blue military garb armed with blade weapons and spears barging in pointing at them especially Knuckles.
They got ready as Bunnie came in front saying "back of you'all... Everyone is cool here... Yes even Knuckles believe it or not and believe me; ah am still trying to grasp it mahself..."
"You needn't to say anything Rabbit... I would have been able to take on an army twice as large when I was only but a decade old..." Knuckles told her as there was a teenage female voice:
"Stand down..." the voice said as the army then exited the hut as there was a fancy dressed animal with a scroll.
"Presenting her majesty the ruler of Mobotropils... Princess Sally of the House of Acorn!" he said as then entered a chipmunk girl about Sonic's age with short red hair, a golden tiara and a white gown.

Sonic looked at her open mouthed as Sally then embraced Bunnie; "glad to see you are all alright plus you too Tails as you had people concerned when you didn't return..." Sally said as she then ruffled Tails' fur on his head.
"Don't worry about Tails as he has a new family looking after him including his personal hero right here. So you're the princess?" Sonic asked making a flirty pose causing the Wachowskis to go wide eyed as Sally shot him a smirk.
"So you must be the famous Sonic the Hedgehog; disciple of Longclaw, heir to the Order of the Owls and defeater of the one called Robotnik? It's an honor..." Sally asked as Sonic nodded.
"Yep and it seems that you need me to save the day from him for a 3rd time." Sonic said as Sally sighed.
"HIs new master is the bigger threat to be concerned about: Rava the Destroyer. The legends I read about in the tomes showed him to be dangerous enough even if he no longer has the Master Emerald... We have to stop him from reassembling it's power..." Sally retorted.
"I think you will find that Robotnik will find a way to betray his new alien animal pawn as he has done that before." Sonic retorted and Knuckles nodded.
"Indeed he betrayed his last pawn and I should know since I was that pawn... Wait..." Knuckles stated but then thought it over.
"Princess Sally; I was there when Robotnik got a hold of the Emerald and trust me he isn't one to be underestimated..." Tails put in as Sally studied their words.
"I will take your word for it and can I ask for your other new friends... Besides the obvious confusing one..." Sally asked.
"Well Donut Lord Tom and Pretzel Lady Maddie are our parents here basically; Tom is a protector of our hometown and Maddie looks after animals." Sonic explained as they waved.
"Well what about him? You haven't exactly explained who he is?" Bunnie asked looking at Randall.
"A deceiver who wormed his way into the family by use of a catfish..." Knuckles explained as there were wide eyes from Sally and Bunnie as Randall sighed.
"It's complicated... I'm a trained government agent... I have had some real cool adventures that you would be impressed by if I could tell you all about it but classified..." Randall said as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Tom and Maddie shook their heads.
"Well we should focus on finding the yet to be discovered Chaos Emeralds..." Sally said as Sonic smirked.
"Don't worry Princess; you can see for yourself the great Sonic the Hedgehog in action!" Sonic stated looking confident.
"Looks like somebody has his first crush he is trying to impress..." Maddie whispered to Tom who nodded.
