CHAPTER 4: A RUN IN LEAST EXPECTED
When school was over I met Scott by his bike and asked if he would mind helping me find my meds that I lost. He looked at me and said "How did you lose your meds" I tried to look innocent but it didn't work he just raised his eyebrow in a look that said (really). I told him what happened "Well even though you didn't want to go with me, I went to the preserve anyway and when I heard howling I tripped and the bottle fell out of my bag". He looked at me and sighed "Fine but only for an hour I have to be back for work, ok?". I said ok and we tossed his bike and our bags in the back, then we left to go to the preserve. When we arrived I showed him where I fell, so we started looking. After about 45 minutes we gave up and were heading back to my jeep when we heard a voice that said "What are doing out here this is private property". We turned around and I saw a face I never expected to see ever again, Derek Hale.
I stood there and stared for a minute before I shook the shock off and said "I'm sorry we didn't mean to intured we were just looking for my meds I lost well exploring the other day". He looked at me with those intense green eyes and I could help but blush. He smirked at me then tossed me something I caught it and when I looked down it was my meds I looked back up and said "thank you so much". He just shook his head then turned around and left. When I looked over to Scott he stared at me like I was crazy or something, then I realised that he had seen me blush over a guy looking at me. I could see him trying not to laugh at me so I just flipped him off and said "Do you want a ride to work or not because if you laugh at me you're walking there". He just laughed because he knew I would never do that to him. So we got in my jeep, I dropped Scott off at work and went home.
When I got there I went to the kitchen to make dinner for me and dad, when it was I put his in the fridge. Then I went and did my homework. As I finished my homework I thought about what had happened last night and today. I was so confused so I decided to do some research on my symptoms. I was typing them when I turned my stereo, as I was looking at the results I quickly realised what I was. That's when I jumped about a foot in the air when my skype went off. Seeing that Scott I answered it, we talked about his work and homework for a while as I wasn't ready to tell him what I discovered yet.
So when he said that it looks like someone is behind I told him to call me later and that it was probably my dad. We said goodbye then hung up. When I turned around to greet who I thought was my father only to quickly realise that it was in fact Derek Hale. I tried to run for the door, but he grabbed me and put his hand over my mouth. Then he said "I just want to talk, that's all". I looked up at him like he was crazy, then I saw how serious he was. I nodded my head and he let me go. So I asked him "What the fuck is wrong with you? You can't just break into the sheriff's house and assault his daughter". He looked at me then turned his head away, his cheeks turning pink. I wondered why when he pointed down I realised that I didn't have any pants on, I was only in my panties and cami. I squeaked and ran to my dresser, and grabbed a pair of shorts and put them on. As I sat on my bed blushing I tentatively looked up at him and said "Well what did you want to talk about".
