A.N. Hey everybody! I want to take a moment to thank everyone who read and who replied! You guys are amazing! I'm going to try to update more frequently because the plot is finally moving and I want it to keep moving. Thanks again.
"I hope you know, it's on."
Chapter 28: Talk that
The last thing I wanted was to sit through breakfast with the Mikaelsons part deux. It wasn't like I was trying to make a beeline for the nearest exit with my tail between my legs, because that was not it. I didn't even mind hanging out with Rebekah and Marcel. I had been through much worst than the two of them, think being trapped in a car for eight hours with the triangle of doom. It was a miracle we had actually made it to our destination in one piece. Back to the present, the only problem I had with this whole scenario was Elijah. He had crossed a line with me, and I had given him a grain of salt of a chance but now, that chance was over. I don't think I could sit across from him and play nice because I was done playing nice with someone who deserved absolutely nothing from me.
"Come." Klaus says sensing the flight or flight swarming through me. Peering up at him, I almost marveled at the fact that he knew me so well so fast. We were in sync even when we weren't in sync and the only other person who had known me that well was Damon. "Surly you aren't going to let Elijah run you out of here?" He dimples whilst linking his pinky with mine.
Our eyes meet. "Never." I say after a while. "I'm a Bennett, and we don't back down from anything."
His eyes light up. "Thata girl." Klaus says his hands swarming around my hips.
I hold at my hand pushing at his chest. "You, however owe me."
He raises his eyebrows high, while he tries to hide a smile, but his dimples give it away. "Me?"
I look up at him. "Yes you. You're from a vampire family that doesn't even need to eat real food, and yet you subject me to breakfast with the Mikaelsons" He opens his mouth to speak and I put my finger to his lips. "You owe me."
He takes my finger into his mouth and lets his fangs nick it before sucking the blood that flows.
When I pull my finger away he grins a wolfish grin, before pouncing on me. Once he's got me into his grasp, he buries his nose into my neck. "Fine, name your price." Klaus murmurs. "Would you like diamonds, pearls, or rubies?" He pauses his eyes are dark as he looks at me now. "Or perhaps shoes and lingerie is more your type."
I shake my head. "I don't want any of that." I say easily. "All I want is access to your spellbook library."
He clicks his tongue. "You noticed that?" Pause. "And here I thought I was your only focus."
"Vain much."
He grabs a hold of the sheet that I had wrapped around my body earlier and tugs me to him. "Well have to try again in the library this time with me being the only thing on your mind, the only thing you focus on while your riding me."
His eyes have dilated so much that it reminds me of looking at a full moon. "Klaus, focus."
"I am," He says in that charming way, that makes me putty in his hands. "On you. However, I realize that this is not the time nor the place for the shenanigans I have in store for you."
I snort. "Glad you noticed.
"You want access to my library." He says his hand on my cheek as his thumb strokes me face. "You got it."

Klaus
When she jumps into his arms in pure excitement he cant help but hold her tight and relish in the this moment.
"Thank you, this will help with a lot of things." Bonnie says, excitement in her voice. Her eyes are vivid and beautiful and color he will never be able to paint, so instead he just relishes in moments like this, moments when he can look into them freely.
He chuckles while still holding onto her, not wanting to let her go. "You welcome. Now about last night and your dress."
They both look at the said dressed he had ripped clear off of her body the night before now in shreds makes him swell with pride. The things that occurred between them had been heated, intense and overwhelming, but right now she was what he wanted, she was all he wanted.
"You ripped it clear off my body." She reminds.
"I know. It's the wolf in me." He says with a wink.
She sends him a scathing look that goes straight to his dick. Had they had more time he'd snatch the sheet that is artfully wrapped her small frame and keep her in bed for the rest of the day. Sadly that wasn't an option for today, but he'd keep the notion in the back of his mind. He had plenty of homes all over the world, homes in exotic locations, in the homeiest of small towns and the busiest cities. He could easily whisk her away from her vacation for a klauscation. Of course when he whisked her away from Elijah and more importantly Damon, she would have to do everything he wanted. He could only imagine how that would go over and the mere fact had him feeling tingly all over.
She pulls at his necklace and it reminds him of the way she held onto them the night before as they joined over and over again. "The thought of putting on something one of you're hoes wore is making my gag reflux start to kick in." She say pushing away from him, as he follows behind watching her every movement.
"What gag reflex?" He asks snickering while she hypnotizes him with her eyes.
"You're so not funny." She says her skin heating up and showing a light blush tinting her cheeks. Her freckles stand out even more now making her look even more beautiful.
He follows behind at a slow pace, hands in his pockets. "Well then, I hate to break it to you- but this article of clothing didn't belong to a hoe of mine."
She bites her lip. "Stefans then?"
He shakes his head again. "Nope."
"I'm intrigued?"
He shows her what he's picked out of his sisters wardrobe. A pair of light blue jeans that are ripped at the knees and a cropped white top. "These belong to my dear sister."
"Oh."
"Oh indeed." He says picking up the clothing and tossing it in her direction. She catches it easily. "Now love, chop, chop."

Lucy
It wasn't often that she was nervous but as she got ready for breakfast at the Mikaelson family home, she found herself more skittish then usual. She couldn't shake this feeling that had overcome her so suddenly. Something bad was about to happen. Usually when she got caught up in her own feelings Vincent was the first person to calm her down but with him being missing in action she was left alone with her thoughts.
The fact that she was nervous, was warning number 2. She was Lucy Bennett after all, she made men crawl for a chance for her to look in their mere direction. She also left people who had felt her wrath quaking in their boots for years after crossing her. I guess that was why she was so nervous. She knew deep down in her gut that something had transpired between Bonnie and Elijah, something that had made the former closed off whenever the subject was broached.
That of course was why she had decided early on that this morning breakfast was going to be one that shed light onto every question she had thought about. She just wanted everything to be transparent before she got in over her head.
But she felt it in her chest, doom and gloom. It a was a feeling that had settled down something that was fleeting but this morning, it was more prominent.
She had well known and well documented trust issues. It came from a few select men in her life that had burned her so bad that she had become a man eater as Vincent had affectionately called her. It had been easier that way. People had seen her as the fun girl, the girl who was so busy living life and breaking hearts that she had no down time. Well, they were wrong. When she was all alone she was the same Lucy with trust issues that tended to burn people before they burned her. That was why she didn't long term relationships it was easier that way. But with Elijah, she could picture him staying around a little bit longer than her usual time span of a hook up.
Flashback
Splash they went into the water, with Elijah holding onto her she with her arm around his neck. It's only when they were further out that he finally lets her go. She dips her head back getting her hair wet and noticing how he's looking at her. When her hair dried it was going to be just as wild and free as they were in this very moment.
"You finally got me naked, good on you." She says a smirk on her lips as she swims further out with the original on her tail.
Elijah gives her that look that's between a squint and a smolder and really she doesn't know which she prefers more. "I do take great pleasure in this moment." Elijah says dipping below and disappearing quickly.
Fluttering around in the water she looks from side to side, waiting for the vampire to pop up, only he doesn't. A sound is in the distance for only moments for the sudden sound gets closer, only to move away once again.
"Haha, your not funny. I've gone up against many foes and the best part is I don't scare easily."
She feels movement in the water when Elijah pops up behind her, his arm encircling her waist. "You should be afraid Lucy Bennett."
Her heart beats so fast at the sound of his voice that mentally tries to calm down. Turning around she faces him. "Why should I be afraid of you?"
He grabs her and nuzzles his nose in her shoulder. "Because I'm not as good as you think I am. I can be very lethal when needed." Pause. He places kisses between her neck and shoulder. "I'm the bad guy that nobody see's coming and then I snap."
Her eyes close briefly as his mouth moves down to her breast. One of his hands has slid down between her legs where he plays her like his favorite instrument. First his fingers dance slowly, before speeding up. She's so close she nearly embarrasses herself. She'll prolong this moment though, even with gritted teeth. "Lucky for you, I'm the kind of girl that keeps her eyes open." She says as he takes a chocolate morsel into his mouth and sucks hard before his incisors nip at the offering.
Predictably she falls apart. She always did have a thing for biting.
When she's come down from the stars Elijah is looking at her again in assessment. "I told you I was stealth."
"What is it that you want with me Elijah?" She asks suddenly. "And I want the truth."
He only smirks. "I want you on all fours while I'm behind you. I want to screw you till your voice is hoarse from calling out my name."
Well damn.
"That could take a while, sure you have the time, and the finesse?" She asks as Elijah backs her up against a nearby rock.
He smirks now. "I'm more than confidant I can get the job done."
And then he's kissing her and she's kissing him back. When he slips into her she finds out quickly that is very capable of many things.
End of flashback
She had fun with Elijah the night before, in fact she could even see the two of them dating, without all the labels and stuff. She and Elijah were not in any realm that Bonnie and Klaus seemed to glide along in, but she could readily admit that she liked his style. And if last night was any indication he seemed to like hers as well.
Looking at herself in the mirror she pilled her hair high in a bun. Though she would love to delve into a semi lovey dovey breakfast. This was her chance to finally get the answers to all the questions she had about the Elijah and Bonnie situation.
Once outside, she was surprised to see her lawn covered in black roses the spelled out the words traitor you're next, hell do to you like he's done to the rest. Next to the roses was an manila envelope. Picking up the item she opens it to find pictures of her and Elijah from last night. They had a problem, and it looked like it stemmed from Elijah.
Damon
When he came to, he was back at the Augustine. He knew it to be true because the pungent smell of spoilage, decay and misery was something that clung to them all. He sees frail vampires who were used as test dummies, some that were on their way on to a better place and others that were in wait. He shuts azure eyes wishing to be anywhere but here. If he closes his eyes really hard, maybe even clicks his heels he could be back where it didn't hurt anymore.
A hand reaches out to touch his face, a hand that is soft and feminine. When he opens his eyes, he's no longer in that place, the place where he met Enzo. Though it was long gone he still could remember everything. Now though, he sat in a psychiatrist office.
"Welcome back Damon, I've been waiting for you." The woman says causing him to look up at her. She wears glasses with hair that reaches her shoulders, if he squints he would've said she was...
"Bonnie?" He asks his mouth dry.
The woman before him smiles, though it's not the smile he's used to. When Bonnie smiles, his Bonnie– something about it reaches his soul. When his Bonnie looks at him she tugs on his heartstrings without even trying till he can barley catch his breath. This person, this fake Bonnie she makes him feel cold.
She grins again. "Is that who you want me to be?" She asks leaning forward, her low cut white shirt giving him glimpse of a blood red bra. "Or would this face better suit you?" She asks changes to Elena.. Or Katherine he's not quite sure. At this point in time they were very damn well the same person, though Elena lacked the creativity that Katherine possessed. While Katherine was a liar, she never lied to herself, Elena, had the habit of lying to others and herself. Elena also really believed the lies she told herself.
"Who are you? And what do you want?" He asks finding that he's rooted into his seat.
"You know," The Elena/ Katherine imposters says. "It was very hard to get to you." She says dragging her words out slow in that Elena style. She smiles then, but it's all Katherine. "I guess that's what happens when a witch falls in love with someone like you, and vice versa." She says this time her voice sounding genuine.
"You're the witch after Bonnie," He grunts out. "I won't let you hurt her."
She chuckles, well more like cackles. "We've established that before, but I'm still here ready with another plan b,c,d and so on."
"She's a Bennett witch, one of the strongest witches to ever be born, she'll stop whatever you have planned and if not, I will. I will not let you hurt her."
"How would you stop me?" She says flexing her hands which cause slashes to run across his face and chest. "How can you stop me when you can't even save yourself." She cackles. "Some big bad vampire, you let your model looks get you out of trouble but what happens when those don't work on people? You're a wrecking ball, that I'd never lay eyes on except, she cares about you."
He swallows hard. "You never told me your name."
She smiles again. "I also never showed you my real face, but I'll throw you bone because lord knows you need it. I'm bored of this game and I mean business. I want the Mikaelsons to pay for what they've done and currently they seem to have their eyes set on two of the most powerful witches, aside from myself. First I want to dismantle Klaus and the only way to truly do that is through your Bonnie."
"Why would I help you?" He asks as he fights to hold his head up.
"Because, you want her more than you hate me." She says simply.
"I don't even know your name, why would I help someone who not only refuses to show me who they really are, but doesn't tell me their name either."
"I've been called many names most people call me Sabine," Pause. "But since we're being transparent I'll let you know my name is Celeste, if you agree to my terms, I'll always be transparent with you- but first I need you to do what you do best."
He chuckles. "And what is that."
"Wreck shit. You've always used the women that cared about you, you use their feelings against them and it works. For some reason they eat every bull shit line throw their way. Bonnie is the same way, she loves you and you love her. Go after her, get her away from Klaus and then I'll let her be.
He tilts his head to one side. "And what do you get out of this besides watching Klaus get humiliated?"
Her face changes now, to the face he had seen before he left for North Carolina. She's Bonnie, but not Bonnie. The color of her eyes are green but its not the green he's use to. "I get what I want, and you," she says standing before him unbuttoning her shirt. "You get what you want, Bonnie." She gets closer to him setting so close he can feel the chill of her body. It reminds him that she's not Bonnie.
He tries to scoot away from her, only to find he still cant move from his spot. "Get away from me."
"I can give you a sample of her, to show you what you're missing. Isn't that all you want?" She asks climbing on him. "You can have her, she'll be yours but you have to go after what you want."
Her face gets close to his. "Say we have a deal Damon, and she's yours all yours." She says her voice seductive, low and throaty, the exact way he had always imagined Bonnies voice would be.
He grabs her face then and plants his lips on hers. Its not how he ever envisioned his first kiss with Bonnie but he'll make up for it. When he pulls back the fake is blinking at him rapidly. He spits to the side and grins when he see's the fury on her face. "You'll never be her, and I'll never work with you to get her."
She gets up now rage on her face as she changes into Rebekah. "Suit yourself Salvatore." With a wave of the hand he's back at the Mikaelson home, where Rebekah has him chained up. He remembers this clearly because he can see Bonnie as if she's really in the room.
He then see's as Klaus has an arm on the lower back of his favorite witch as he leads her out of the room.
He counts her footsteps as if its real and when a dagger rips through his flesh he screams wishing to wake up from this nightmare.

Rebekah
Rebekah Mikaelson Gerald had seen many things in her life. The many seasons she had gone through with her siblings had been endless. Being the only girl born with too many brothers she had a way with each of her brothers that bonded them. Right now as she watched Elijah butter a biscuit with barley concealed, shaking hands, she had to wonder what happened. For once in their lives destruction hadn't reared its ugly head in their direction and for that she was sublimely happy. She wanted each of her brothers to reach for their happiness and hold onto it. However, she had a feeling that the moment she wanted to bask in was a fleeting one.
For starters, she knew something was up with Elijah, if not be the ever so slight tremor in his hands. Her eldest brother seemed so far away even with him sitting across from her, while chatting along with Marcel. On the surface Elijah looked well put together, in fact he looked like he always did, everything was perfect, his suit, tie, hair, cufflinks and shoes all screamed put together. But it was his eyes that were starting to freak her the fuck out. Elijah could bottle up not only his emotions but the worst part of him, but when she listened to him speak so elogantly it didn't reach the madness in his eyes.
As for Niklaus, well he was falling in love even though he wouldn't admit it. She had never seen him happier, except for when he was with Hope. Watching he and Bonnie together, made her smile in the inside and on the outside. For the first time in a long time, Niklaus was in love and her brother who had always been a lone wolf type of guy– now he had someone at his side if only for a while.
"Rebekah?" Elijah calls.
"Hmm" She answers distractedly.
"Where were you just now?" Marcel asks worry swirling in his coco brown eyes.
"Right here." She says touching his face. Out of the corner of her eye she can see Elijah for a moment he's let his guard down and he's her Elijah again. He's the same person who likes to cook up a storm for family dinner on Sunday's. The person who shoos everyone out of the kitchen because she, Klaus and Hope are always sneaking food out of the kitchen before dinner. He's all of those things until the sound of footsteps get closer and closer to they reveal Niklaus basking in the glory of falling in love, with Bonnie Bennett on his side.

Bonnie
When we get to the breakfast room, all eyes are on the two of us. Klaus puts his hand in mine, such a simple gesture but it meant the world to me. When I look up his eyes are telling me everything I need to know. Together we sit down, with Klaus pulling out my chair while he sits at the head of the table.
"Good morning everyone." I say a perfect smile on my face.
Everyone answers good morning, while Elijah looks anywhere than at me and Rebekah is looking at me with full interest. "Are those my clothes."
Klaus chuckles while Marcel looks at what I'm wearing. "Didn't I buy that for you?" The man with the brilliant smile asks his wife.
I feel my face burning. "Yes." I answer the question Rebekah poises. "Klaus thought it was a good idea to let me wear your clothes." I say slowly. "Surprise."
Rebekah turns blues eyes that have turned into daggers at her brother and I can't help but snicker. "Why were you in my closet, let alone my room?" Rebekah asks looking from me to Klaus.
"We kind of, had a mishap with my dress." I chime in.
Klaus shakes his head. "Translation is I ripped her dress clear off of her." Klaus says way too proud for his own good. Rebekah and I share a look that suggest the nerve of Klaus.
Marcel cuts into his waffle. "Cut him some slack wifey, it's not like we haven't done worst." His words seem to soften Rebekah because she got a small smile playing on her lips and a far away look in her eyes.
I share a look with Marcel while he winks my way. I wonder if he can teach me some new tricks because lord knows Klaus could be intense and dramatic depending on his mood.
Across the table Elijah mutters something that causes the mood to darken around the room. I know it's bad because whatever he's said as Rebekah looking between her brothers with wide eyes. She says something loud and direct to Elijah in a foreign language before looking to Klaus and saying something else. I was watching the two of them while Marcel was drinking some orange juice looking unbothered. He had probably seen and heard it all with this family.
Once Marcel is finished with his juice and Elijah says something else, Marcel sends a glare to Elijah that is so hard it rivals Klaus. "Not cool man." Marcel says in English. "We all just want a peaceful breakfast and you've apparently woken up on the stupid side of the bed this morning."
I chance a look to Klaus, who is radiating so much heat, it shouldn't surprise me how angry he looks. He's glaring so hard at his brother I was surprised that Elijah hadn't shrank away. No instead he was looking Klaus in the eyes while all eyes were on Klaus because you never knew when he was about to snap and start breaking shit.
I decide now is my chance to talk my shit because I still didn't like Elijah and we were nowhere near even. "Such quiet words from across the table, in a foreign language at that." I muse. "Why don't you say it in English and a little louder- you got something to say about me, say that shit with your chest." I snap. "I'm no delicate flower."
Elijah holds up his flute of champagne and orange juice and takes a delicate sip. Seconds later the flute in his hand explodes drenching his hand and long sleeve shirt in his drink of choice. He smirks at that and then looks directly at me. "Well since, you and I are supposed to be letting bygones be bygones,
"Screw your bygones." I snap.
"Very well," Elijah says with such a dramatic pause that I tilt my head back and roll my eyes. "I said with the way you two rut around like animals it's a miracle that the dress isn't the only thing torn to pieces."
I tilt my head to the side and look over at him. "What can I say, I'm a resilient girl."
Elijah continues on as if I hadn't said a word. "I thought for sure, Niklaus would've done his worst." Elijah says wiping at his arm. "But then again, you do have a way about you." Pause. "No wonder Niklaus cant seem to keep his hands off of you."
My eye twitches but that's about it. If Elijah wanted more of a reaction, he wasn't going to get it just yet. I'd wait for the perfect moment for that. "If you're trying to provoke me, its not working." I say while picking up a fork and cutting my french toast. I pop it into my mouth and once finished I continue on with my words. "I do however, hope you heard every dirty detail and it gives you nightmares."
Elijah chuckles and I want to rage but I play my hand close. "I have no doubt you'll be the star of all my nightmares Ms. Bennett." Elijah says way to conversationally. "And I'm not trying to provoke you, just being transparent, no more lies, no more games, just transparency."
Klaus finally speaks, he looks down at me his face full of rage. "Love, he's not trying to provoke you– he's trying to provoke me." Klaus says way too calm.
It's only then that we all kind of realize that shit is about to hit the fan. Its almost funny because I swear I made eye contact with just about everyone. Rebekah looked like she was the most invested. At first she looks at Elijah with a squint that told him he wasn't shit. Then she looks at Klaus like, she may intervene but then again she looks down at her ring like, I'm not about to have either one of you break my ring on accident. Marcel is eating his waffles like it's just another day with this family. I can only imagine what he's seen over the years. I mean he didn't even flinch at the coldness that laced Klaus's voice. Elijah looks surprised but not that surprised he doing this on purpose, but he doesn't expect too much to come of it.
"And," Klaus says while he picks a piece of bacon off my plate. He chomps on my bacon like we share food now, and then looks back at his brother. "It's working."
Soon enough Klaus goes flying across the room. Elijah has taken off his jacket like he's ready.
My eyes travel to Elijah who had a slight smirk to his lips. It was obvious that Elijah was doing this on purpose. When he said he was being transparent he was being truthful. He was trying to make me look like the bad girl in all of this. I was the homewrecker, who destroyed his family by making he and Klaus fight. If he was going to try and bring me down, I'd take him with me. But first I'd enjoy watching Klaus hand him his ass.
