Ben let out a groan female voice causing him to turn around to see an unwanted female figure with an angry look.
The female appeared to be an older woman with lighter skin and shoulder-length red hair. She wore steel black and red armor with five silver spikes on each of her shoulder pads. She still wore her skull emblem on her chest.
This is Rojo.
Ben muttered," It had to be Rojo!"He looked at the enemy of his cousin with an annoyed look on her face.
On the ground, Sandra was blinking owlishly as she heard the woman known as " Rojo " appeared but she called Ben "Tennyson".
Sandra thought," Tennyson? Does she mean like Gwen Tennyson the bitch? No! Impossible ! Ben couldn't be related to that destructive bitch!" She shook her head as she looked at Ben who had an irritated look on his face.
Rojo shouted," Your cousin ruffed my girl Azul and got her a life sentence!" She looked over at Ben.
Ben muttered," Gwen is a terrible protector. Now I have an enraged tomboy after me." He faces palmed himself.
Ben sees Rojo walking towards him with the same smirk evolving into a grin on her face causing Ben to roll his eyes.
Sandra who hear the talk was looking confused but she grew concerned for Ben as she see the female known as Rojo walk towards Ben.
Sandra shouted," Ben run !" She shouts in concern towards Ben who looked unconcerned about Rojo.
Ben stood his ground as he places his arms in an " X " position with narrowed eyes.
Rojo sprints towards Ben with her left arm cocked and brings it towards Ben's head causing Sandra to shout," BEN " in her spot.
BAM!
Sandra looks at the scene with sadness as she see the huge fog of smoke with Rojo's outstretched fist but she notices a figure in the fog making her confused
Obviously, Rojo notices her expression shift to confusion as her arm felt grabbed by something.
Rojo muttered," What … the hell?" She wonder what stopped her from punching her stress reliever.
The figure clears up revealing a new figure in Ben's place that astounded Rojo, Sandra, and a few witnesses that stayed put.
The figure resembled the Gold Zeo Ranger or Kingranger but with some differences, while the bodysuit remained the same the helmet has a visor similar to the red Super Dino Fury ranger including the armor for the arms and legs mixed with the golden Zeo armor which also adds the armbands between the shoulder blade and the elbow and then with the shoulder guards and chest design of Kamen Rider Saga mixing its horns of its helmet.
Sandra gasped covering her mouth in shock with her eyes widening in amazement.
Rojo cried," What… the …he-" She was interrupted as she was nailed by a right cross to the face sending her flying.
Rojo rolled as she hit the ground she gets to her feet and she spits out some blood out of her mouth as Ben in his armor form approaches her.
Ben stated," Okay Rojo. Time for you to leave." He popped his knuckles and his neck as he looked at the red-haired villainess.
Rojo sneered," Never Tennyson!" She launched herself forward at the armored Tennyson who takes a fighting stance.
Ben charges at Rojo and they started exchanging blows with each other.
Sandra muttered,' Oh my God! He is related to that demon girl." She covered her mouth in shock.
Rojo throws a two-punch combination at Ben who bobbed and weaved around the punches thrown from Rojo then he nailed her with a sharp uppercut to the chin which made Rojo stumble backward.
Ben goes for a spin kick to her stomach of Rojo making her double over in pain then Ben held his hand, causing a golden color aura to emerge from it.
Ben cried," HA!" He fired the golden beam at the Mercenary hitting her in the chest causing her to be sent flying along with her armor breaking.
The red hand is sending skidding down the road and she lay on the ground unconscious wearing her shattered armor.
Ben looked at his own opponent and he sees she is completely knocked out causing him to cross his arms in an " X " on his chest then a golden aura engulfs reverting him back to his normal self.
He uncrossed his arms and he see many people coming from their spots then they begin cheering and Sandra comes out with her jaw hanging.
Sandra stammered," You … you…. You!" She pointed at Ben with her delicate finger as her hazel brown eyes are the size of dinner plates and her mouth is wide open.
Ben joked," You might want to cover your mouth before a bug flies into it." He chuckled as Sandra let out a squeaking sound and she covered her mouth.
Ben chuckles then he sees her giving him a pouty expression causing his chuckles to grow into laughter.
Sandra stammered," It is not funny Ben!" She looked away with a blushing expression on her face.
Ben sees this and he calms down as he sees Sandra looked embarrassed.
Ben stated," Okay I am done. " He sees Sandra still blushing which looks cute causing him to shake his head.
Ben thought," Don't think about it, Ben." He chastised himself for looking at another girl after he is still grieving over Elena.
Sandra cried," That woman called you Tennyson and the only Tennyson I know is Gwen Tennyson. Who are you? Tell me now Ben." She looked at Ben with narrowed eyes as she stared at the emerald eyes male.
Ben sighed," Is there anywhere we can talk privately?" He looked at Sandra with a secretive look on his face.
Sandra looked around and she see in the far distance across the street her car which is a black Chevy Camaro.
Sandra smiled," Follow me." She gestured for Ben to follow her as she begins walking in the direction of her car.
Ben followed behind the Hispanic beau with a curious expression and was led to a black Chevy Camaro.
Sandra and Ben made their way to the front of the car where they took a seat on the hood of the car.
Sandra smiled, "Well, now. We have a place to talk. So tell me, Ben. Who are you and how were you able to down that?" She looked at Ben with a curious expression on her face.
Ben looked a bit conflicted as he heard Sandra's question but he takes a deep breath telling his true identity.
Ben stated," My name is Ben Tennyson cousin of the so-called Hero of the world Gwen 10." He says the name with disdain.
Sandra cried, "That bitch! She killed so many innocent people and they let her go free."She looked angry.
Ben stated," Yeah I am related to her." He sighed to himself as he couldn't stand being with Gwen.
Sandra stated," "Well your way better than her."She smiled at Ben who snorted at her statement.
Ben stated," The creator of the watch that transformed Gwen into those alien heroes doesn't think so." He rolled his eyes with annoyance in his emerald green eyes as he recalled Amzuth's words.
"We'll he's senile if he doesn't see the deaths and destruction she caused."
Ben had to stop himself from smirking after hearing Sandra's statement but he gain a sad look as he recalled someone he held dear saying something similar to that.
Sandra notices this and she looked at Ben with concern in her hazel eyes as she saw his dimmed eyes.
Sandra asked," You lost someone to Gwen haven't you ?" She looked at Ben with concern in her eyes.
Ben nodded and he said," Elena Validus. I don't how but Gwen has been involved in her death." He clenched his fist in anger.
" Wanna share with the class?"
Ben's eyes dimmed as he looked out the window of Sandra's car and thought," Should I tell her?"
Ben see in the reflection Sandra looking at him with a patient expression and he said," It's a long story."
Sandra stated," I got plenty of time." She smiled at her companion who takes a deep breath as he begins to tell his tale about Elena's death.
He told her more about Elena Validus and he told her about the relationship he had with a young woman named Elena Validus and how they were partners. Ben was going to propose to her after a mission with Gwen and her personal squad but something went wrong and it cost Elena her life or at least what Gwen claimed.
Ben finished," I was told of her death but they didn't bring back her body. I know Gwen had something with it as she looked all happy." He recalled the smug expression on Gwen's face when she returned from her mission.
His fist clenches up in rage as he thought his beloved 's death and he believes that Gwen has something to do with her death.
Sandra see this and she looked at Ben with sympathy in her eyes as she heard his tale about his beloved.
Sandra thought," Poor Ben." She looked at Ben with sadness in her eyes as she feel his pain and his anger.
Sandra said softly," I am sorry about your loss Ben." She grabbed his clenched hand with a sad look on her beautiful face.
Ben stated softly," It's fine. You don't need to apologize to me, Sandra. You weren't responsible for destroying my happiness in life. My life is ruined" He smiled sadly thinking about Elena Validus and his life.
Sandra frowns upon hearing that. "It's not too late for a better life Ben. Your life is not ruined!"She looked at her companion.
Ben stated," I don't know. Maybe I don't deserve life or a chance at happiness." He sighed to himself.
Sandra said, Yes you deserve a life of happiness. know you do, you just need a place to be free." She looked at Ben with an encouraging look on her face which caused Ben to stop his brooding.
Ben muttered," A place to be free." Maybe you are right. Earth isn't for me. As long I am here I am stuck in the shadows of Gwen." He thought about the earth as he had always been in Gwen's Shadow even before people saw the destructive side of Gwen.
Ben wonders how would he have a chance to be free until he gets memories of him gaining his powers.
Ben said," Hey Sandra wanna be let on a litter secret?" He sees Sandra looking at him with a curious expression.
Sandra asked," Sure. What is it, Ben?" She looked at Ben with a curious expression on her face.
Be smiled," What if I told you there was a way for me to have a chance to be free?" He sees Sandra title her head at him.
Note: Here is the second chapter of Dive into the Heart and we see Ben isn't so defenseless as he created an armor based on the Gold Zeo Ranger or KingRanger, the Dino Fury Ranger, and Kamen Rider Saga and I would like to thank my homey Red Dragon 112293 for assistance. I wonder what weapon could Ben add to his armor and what should Ben be called when he is wearing his armor. I wonder what should Ben fight for.
