Episode 11- Underground Part 3
"I don't know about this," Sweetie Belle concerned.
"I know this doesn't feel right to just lie to him but what choice do we have," Scottaloo said. "We got to do it, call Alex, get him to let us in the Underground."
Hey Scoots, Are you and the others okay?
"Yeah, why would say that?"
I saw the news about the rally.
"We're fine. Do have time to get some coffee?"
Sure, meet me at the coffee shop down in Appaloosa.
"Sure, Okay."
"Kinda, you called," Alex while he and Scttooaloo chatted. "I need a break."
"From what?" Sctooaloo asked.
"Been pile upon work."
"Sweetie Belle wanted to be sure you were okay, she went to your house just before she got there, there was some kind of fight, I'll spare the details of what she found inside about what happened with Maya. I'm sorry."
"Anything else she finds out?"
"Yeah, she also find out that you're The Cyber-Knight, we want to help you but you got to be straight with me."
"First, I'm sorry that the others were harmed at the rally. If those Crusaders hadn't shown up it would have been a lot smoother. And second, don't try and talk me out of it, I already made up my mind and I know what am doing. And that goes for the others."
"Okay."
"That's my big secret and why am I so busy all the time."
"And your excuse?"
"A lot has happened... school, helping out Miss Candance's rally, and I've been taking a lot more than I can handle, reasons I can't tell. That made me so distant from you. I want to know what it's like work with the Underground."
"Sure but I warn you, they're a little hostile with guests."
A couple of hours later Alex took Scootaloo to the Underground home operation.
"Here we are, where the plan comes together," Alex as his mask came down and they walked around.
"So, your plan how does Nuform fit in?" Scootaloo asked. "Hailey's said your stole a shipment."
"I stole a couple of canisters, I'm making some adjustments don't worry about it. Take a good around.
"Right."
"Good your back boss," An Underground sniper greeted him. "Gavin needs you."
"Can't I got showing the guest around," Alex replied as the sniper scoffed off.
"Dang, you built all these?"
"Yeah, long as the new weapons keep coming, the Underground stay loyal."
"Is that a programmable matter sword?" She asked while touching it.
"For every new enemy, new solutions are made. Scootaloo, I need to handle something, hang tight?"
"Sure, I can do that," As her phone went off.
Have you made it?
"Yeah, their base is awesome, but not point, I need to find where she keeping the Nuform."
She walked around and saw James Conner's face being scribbled.
"Yikes, Conner would like this..."
"Heh. Guy had secrets and trap doors all over the place. We cracked them all. We own his tower now."
"Did you get that?" Scootaloo asked Trevor.
Yeah, a perfect place to hide a deadly fuel source.
She continued to see more of the place until she saw stacks of cash.
"That's a lot of dough."
"Even more bills downstairs. The old man has cash."
"That sounds promising." Then look over the masks of Bedlam's gang. "Aren't those part of Bedlam's group."
"Yeah, trophies, got to establish dominance if we want to replace Conner and run Canterlot."
These must be well trained if they took down Bedlam's op.
"Makes you wonder where they train?"
"Break time's over, kids, Group 2 head down for training!"
"That's more like it," Then Alex came back.
"So, how do like it?"
"Honestly it's not bad, but I promise Rainbow Dash to help her out with something. I need to go."
"It's okay, if not feeling go right ahead. Don't have a problem."
"Thanks."
As Scootaloo left, she went into her Rocketblade Costume and headed downstairs, once she got there she found a room where Alex and three Underground goons were talking to each other, to avoid being caught. Rocket Blade used her Ghosting and made herself invisible to them allowing her to eavesdrop on the conservation.
"You moved the Nuform?" Alex asked them. "Safely?"
"Yeah, the lab uptown," The gunman said.
"Trevor, they move it," Rocket Blade spoke to him on comms.
"We're not sure if the canister is safe," The brawler asked. "It's hot, buzzing like it's unstable."
"Thank Rocket Blade for that, her powers mess with it, tell everyone not to touch it."
"They have three hideouts, and one of them has to have it."
I need a clear picture, then I can narrow it down.
"No problem."
"We don't have a damn clue about this stuff, where it comes, or what it is..."
"It's amplified dark matter," Alex said. "And my sister created it. She was the chief chemist for TAS Corp and they killed her."
Rocketblade sends Trevor a photo of the Undergrounds Bases.
"I won't stop until TAS Corp is burned to the ground. Are you with me?"
"You know we are."
"Good, now we move on to stage two, I need power, from generators to car batteries, whatever you can find bring them to the theater."
As they left, Rocket Blade escaped through a vent and called Trevor.
"Got anything?"
Yeah, I clean up the photo and looks like they're using the Conner construction sites as they're staging ground.
"What about a theater? Alex mentioned one."
That would be Crystal Theater. Ground Breaker is near there.
"Great, that's where the Nuform is, let her know, me and Sweetie Belle have things to tackle."
Will do.
Unbeknownst to any of them, The Phantom heard the conversation and radioed in on someone.
"Yeah, Crystal Theater; The Cyber-Knight yours, but Ground Breaker out of it."
"Are you sure that's what you heard?" Applejack asked Arctic Ace.
"Every word, and were right about TAS Corp being snakes," He replied as was beating the escape Cozy Glow. "So far, Apple Bloom is heading toward the theater, good thing that Hurricane's beat is around there. You're not mad at her."
"No, I'm sure she and the others have reasons for not telling us."
The day had approached dusk as Ground Breaker headed to the Crystal Theater, and to her surprise, it was crawling with Underground. Once a part of the roof was clear, she jumped down to take a look at the entrance she could use; the hatch was electrified, with no way to get it open without accessing the system. Spider-Girl walked over to the console that was next to the hatch; it needed an access key card to open it.
Ground Breaker muttered to herself, "One of the Underground guys must have a key; time to ask around." She jumped up to a vantage point to scope out the area, she counted a total of seven guys on the roof.
When one went off on his own, Apple Bloom seized the opportunity to take him out. She shot two rock shards down to his shoulders, she then pulled him up to her, making him drop his gun; Twilight knocked him out before tying him to webs.
Before leaving him, she quickly searched for a key; sadly, he didn't have one. All she could do was carry on looking.
Two thugs were distracted by talking to each other, a guy and a girl; the guy said, "So why can't I meet your parents, are you embarrassed by me or something?"
"No babe, of them." The girl one responded.
The guy sighed in relief until he saw his girl get pulled away by webs; before he could do anything, he was shot with an Impact Rock, sending him to a wall. The girl was then swung into him, sticking them there together.
Ground Breaker searched them both, "Still nothing." She grunted.
Suddenly, across the roof, a door was thrown open; and a brute of a man marched out of it. He began barking orders at the Underground thugs, "We got a security alert, Ground Breaker's here; spread out and find her."
Twilight then thought to herself, 'If anyone had a key card, it would be that guy; so now playing it safe was out of the question, it was time to attack with brute force.
After shooting a shard at them, she pulled herself forward and knocked the brute onto his back; she then leaped off him and was surrounded by the Underground. They each tried to attack her, but she would either dodge or counter the attack.
The first guy charged toward her, but she leaped over him and threw a punch on his back, pulling him back and throwing him into another. They were both knocked down, leaving just two guys left; and the brute, who had now got back up.
She began rapidly, firing rocks at the brute; Apple Bloom then shot a grapple line at him and pulled him forward; she swung him around like a wrecking ball, and his weight made him perfect for knocking out the last two thugs. Once they were down, she let go of the web and sent the brute flying toward the wall; the web stuck him to it like glue.
Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to stop him; the strength given to him by the Underground tech, allowed him to break free from the sticky stuff. Using the tech again, a mace and a shield materialized in his hands.
"Come at me, girly." He taunted.
Ground Breaker was happy about that comment, and she had just noticed the brute thug was standing in front of the electrified hatch.
"Who needs a key card, when I do it the old fashion way?" she said to herself.
Jumping up into the air, Apple Bloom came down and full force kick to the brute and smashed right through it.
"Well, that didn't take too long," Ground Breaker said as investigated the large red machine in the middle of the room then Trevor called her.
Hey, I was thinking what if you and others told Alex that you're the Crusaders?
"One problem, not only did we lie about joining his club, but also we're the guys trying to stop you."
There are better ways, to deliver it.
She came across the large red machine in the middle of the room.
It was a large generator-looking device, which doubled as some kind of container;
There was a computer next to the machine, it looked like it was the controller.
"Can you access it?"
Sure give me a minute, really feel my gaming rig is underpowered right now.
"Alex's has gone full super-villain lair. You do see a large-ass containers right?"
Yep, 100% think the Nuform is there.
"Have a hunch, anything from the computer?"
Yeah, according to this, the machine wasn't just going to store Nuform, it was going to super-charge it. But doing that would make it unstable.
"Which explode the bridge."
If Alex goes through with it, he'll blow up TAS Corp Plaza.
"How could he do such a thing?"
It's open to the public, so no one would get hurt.
"Even so, We can't let him do this!"
Ground Breaker backed away from the monitor and was about to the case when a voice caught her attention.
"The Nuform is mine!"
Suddenly, without warning; A figure came out of nowhere and tried to attack, she jumped off the way. A good thing too, because someone had leaped forward and smashed into the computer desk; Ground Breaker looked up at the one responsible, it was him, The Cyber-Knight.
He had the same tech as his minions, then formed a one-handed sword.
"You shouldn't have come here."
Ground Breaker came at him, but he was too fast for her attacks. Cyber-Knight launch a grapple on her and threw her across the room. She tried to get up, but he quickly grabbed her and slam her to the ground making her groan in pain, then The Cyber-Knight walked toward her with his sword at her neck.
"You had a lot of nerve coming here, I going to ask one question, Give me a good reason not to kill you."
Before she could answer another one had crashed the party it was Zavok.
"It's nice to see you again," The Zeti exclaimed as he grabbed both of them and sent both into a wall knocking them out. "Lights out."
All was blurry, the lenses in the mask were opening; allowing Apple Bloom to see her surroundings. She then remembered what had happened; Zavok attacked her and The Cyber-Knight in the Underground lair. Ground Breaker tried to get free, but her arms were restrained to the chair she was sitting in.
"I must say, I'm very disappointed with you." A voice said.
"Hailey?" She asked seeing Amanda sitting in a chair.
"Yeah, see, Mr. Wright, I kinda knew she was going to be a handful I guess I was kind of hoping you and me would see eye to eye."
"Where are we?"
"You're behind the curtain; our most secure facility in the entire city. This is where the magic happens."
"You're a prick, you know that?" A voice belonging to Alex.
"You know his sister and I were developing Nuform..."
"All you did, was sign your name on the patent."
"Well, at least I'm still breathing!" Amanda snapped at him before turning back to Apple Bloom. "But let's not dwell."
"The first thing I'm gonna do is…" Amanda reached for her mask, but the hero moved her head out of the way. The CEO chuckled again, enjoying this too much, "Let me tell you what's going to happen, freak; I'm gonna get that mask off you, then I'll find out what makes you tick."
Amanda stood up and began stroking the side of Apple Bloom's head, "Because you smell exactly like next-level biology. And do you know what that smells like to me?"
She looked up to find out the answer.
"Money; like a lot of money," Amanda replied before walking out. "Okay, well I have some business to deal with; board meetings, can't miss them." The door opened, revealing the TAS Corp upgraded Zavok behind it. Two TAS Corp soldiers walked in as she walked out, "Get the tin can to tell you where my Nuform is. Oh and hurt the brawler."
The door closed, leaving Ground Breaker and Cyber-Knight in the room with two soldiers; they seemed like they were holding a grudge. "We're going to enjoy beating the crap out of you!" One soldier said as they both activated their electric clubs.
All Apple Bloom could do was sit there whilst the two of them began beating her with their clubs, and they got a good laugh while they did it. Cyber Breaker was just watching; even if she wanted to do something to help, she couldn't.
Bash after bash was more and more painful until Ground Breaker had decided she'd had enough; she channeled all her strength to her arms and pulled the restraints apart.
Once she was free before the guards could attack, she leaped onto one of them and flipped them over, so would hit their head on the chair. She then shot a shard at the face of the other, pulling him into her knee, where she kneed him in the chin.
With both guards knocked out, Ground Breaker walked over to Alex and broke her free; Alex' looked at the two unconscious soldiers and muttered, "Holy shit."
"I'm tougher than I look," Ground Breaker said holding herself. "Look, I know we're enemies; but if we want to get out of here, we're going to have to work together."
"Agree, we can use the floor vents to move around." Cyber-Knight then opened up a panel on the floor and crawled down, Apple Bloom quickly followed her.
"TAS Corp kept Zavok, instead letting the police get him."
"Nothing about TAS Corp surprises me anymore."
Just as they were coming up to a turn, Ground Breaker heard a voice she recognized.
"You promised you'd leave her out of this!" She looked up through the floor grate and saw Amanda and Zavok talking to the Phantom. "We had a deal!"
"Look, I know I went back on my word, but I needed to get Cyber-Knight here, and she got in the way." She then turned away as to walk away, "Besides, it was because of your information that we found them."
"Let Ground Breaker go, I'll get you Nuform," He said to her. "Whatever else you need. Here's why. I've seen things, like Nuform making people sick, and what you did to Maya Wright. If I go public-"
"Yeah, but you won't, thing is you're half of what TAS Corp's been involved with, has your name on it," Amanda explained. "And as a wanted criminal, you'd be parked right into the cell next to me."
Zavok followed her as she walked away from Phantom, she explained, "Anyway, we need to check up on our guests; I would invite you along, but three's a crowd. Bye." She then turned away from him and her muscle followed.
With nothing left to say, Phantom just walked away; he left for the exit.
"Is everything okay, who was he?"
"The Phantom, he must somehow found out where was I going, but how unless..."
"He overheard one of your friends, then sell out."
"He wouldn't do that?"
"Sorry, that's the reality for you, you thought he was a friend but in the end, he left you for dead."
When they heard no more footsteps, they both left the vent system; they crawled out into a large open room, Roxxon tanks were parked up against the wall. The coast was clear, they made their way across the room; right up until a door opened in front of them.
"There's think exit," Ground Breaker said and saw Cyber-Knight's nano-tech device; she grab it and toss it back to Alex, "Here. It's better in your hands anyway."
"Thanks," Alex said as the mask came on then Apple Bloom walked to a computer and found something inspiring.
"All the current Nuform Project data's on here. Toxicity reports, Failed health inspections, safety reviews, and Hailey's name on everything. This would destroy TAS Corp, the right way." As Alex joins her. "If we give to the police, TAS Corp goes out business, and Hailey goes jail for years."
Just as the files were downloading, both heard a noise, Ground Breaker grabbed him just as Zavok smashed through the wall and destroyed the computer.
As the two recovered from the attack, Zavok walked towards them, followed by TAS Corp soldiers. The brute asked them, "Like my new armor? It protects me from your attacks, and makes me ten times stronger."
The soldiers surrounded them; Cyber-Knight turned to Ground Breaker and said, "I'll handle the guards, you get the big guy." A large sword materialized in his hand, he then began attacking the guards.
Ground Breaker headed towards, she knew could take him head as Sweetie Belle did. She needed a new approach. She got on Zavok's back and rode like a mechanical bull and send him to a tank. When the tank exploded from the impact, the energy fuelling the vehicle electrocuted him leaving him vulnerable. Ground Breaker punching and kicking him.
As a finisher, she pulled him forward and slammed his face onto the ground; but after that, he got back up and knocked her away.
"That hurt him, keep doing that," Cyber Knight said as he kicked down one of the soldiers.
Ground Breaker saw four of the tanks and use them to her advantage.
The brute of a villain got down on his knees and was ready to charge again, he then charged forward towards Ground Breaker; she pulled the same trick as before, jumping over him and sticking to his back. She steered him towards another tank and like before, it exploded when he crashed into it.
"Ouch!" Zavok cried.
She paid no attention to his wine of pain, she just webbed herself towards him and began punching and kicking the air out of him. This time, the finisher was her jumping over him again and pulling herself down with force; her feet slammed into the back of his head and pushed his face down to the ground, slamming it onto the floor.
During the fighting, Apple Bloom heard what Alex say to her, "We need to put him down, permanently."
"I'm not going to kill the guy," Ground Breaker said.
Now Zavok was tired of this, instead of charging toward Apple Bloom, he ran for one of the tanks; using his strength, he lifted the vehicle above his head. Cyber-Knight figured out what he was going to do with that.
"Oh shit, he's throwing a tank."
He did exactly that, Zavok threw the tanks towards them; they both jumped out of the way and watched the tank explode. Ground Breaker noticed that from the wreckage of the tank, was the energized engine; this gave her an idea.
Ground Breaker grab the engine and throw it at Zavok; when it hit him, the energy electrocuted his body, and he once again fell to his knees. Apple Bloom jumped forward and started punching and kicking him again.
Once she was sure Zavok was weak enough, Cyber-Knight jumped toward him and slashed his armor with her large sword. This disabled his armor, leaving him open to regular attacks.
"His armor is down, finish him!" Alex shouted.
Zaovk ran over to another tank, he picked it up and attempted to throw it, Apple Bloom jumped out of the way again and watched it explode. She then grab the engine and throw it at the brute; without his armor, the attack was way more effective.
Apple Bloom began punching and kicking him, a lot harder this time; and this finisher was the last to be done. She jumped onto his back again and steered him towards the last tank; when it exploded from the impact, Zavok was thrown to the ground, unable to get back up.
Coincidently, at this time, Cyber-Knight had finished the soldiers.
She saw that he was down, she walked over to him, wanting to finish this; but Apple Bloom stopped her and explained, "Make sure he doesn't do anything, I'll be right back." She ran over to the lab to try and find something though the monitor of the computer was destroyed, the hard drive remained intact; she unplugged it from the PC, and now she had the evidence she needed to stop TAS Corp. Before she could walk back over to Jupiter', another computer caught her eye; this one showed the energy results and blue prints for the Nuform reactor.
"According to this, Hailey supercharged the reactor to make her deadline. If Alex goes through with her plan…" Apple Bloom ran a simulation of what would happen if an overcharged Nuform canister was loaded into the reactor; the blast radius covered the entire city. "Ponyville would be destroyed."
Meanwhile, Cyber-Knight was doing as instructed, keeping an eye on Zavok until he started talking to her.
"You know," Zavok talked exhaustingly. "Amanda told how your brother died, I have to admit it was amusing.
"Shut up," Alex said to him.
But he didn't, he continued, "She also told me, it was your fault. You could have saved him, but you chose to save yourself and run like a coward."
"Go to hell," Cyber-Knight said as he drew his sword and trusted right into Zavok's chest making him bleed a little. Ground Breaker kicks him from behind stopping it.
Both crashed through the wall and fell into an old subway tunnel that was next to the underground TAS Corp base.
Alex Wright got up and walked towards Apple Bloom; Spider-Girl got up as well and said to Tinkerer, "What in the hell…" before she could finish, Alex ' whacked her down with his gauntlets.
Like she was doing with Zavok, she started beating the life out of her; all while she was saying, "You broke into my lair! Stole my secrets! Got me kidnapped!" She eventually stopped, she kneeled down and said to her enemy, "If you come near me, or try and stop me again; I'll kill you, and that goes for the others."
"But..." Ground Breaker weakly said before she pass out.
"My family's dead."
Alex leaped out of the tunnel, leaving her. She got up and tried to follow but she collapsed not as long as she radioed for help and to her surprise, Arctic Ace arrived to help out and carry her.
Hours later, at Sweet Apple Acres, Arctic Ace was carrying her to her room through the backway and put her on her bed, among them, was Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, who had their mask down and ran to her.
"Oh my god," Sweetie Belle gasped in horror. "Who did this to her?"
"Cyber-Knight did given the slash marks," the icy hero explained. "Both he and Apple Bloom were taken to hidden TAS Corp facility by Zavok."
"How did he wind up with them? And more importantly, how did TAS Corp find out about the theater?" Scootaloo asked.
"Talk to your uncle, he told them where she was going."
"I can't believe he sells out one of my lifelong friends to TAS Corp of all people. Is she going to be okay?"
"Yeah, she will I got some antibiotics in my car, I'll be back," He left them out of the window but before they heard Applejack's voice.
"Apple Bloom?" Applejack said before entering with Rainbow and Rarity. "Where have been-
All three of them saw them being banged up.
"What the hell happened to you?" Rainbow asked.
"And what are you wearing?" Rarity added.
"We have to tell you something," Apple Bloom as everyone sits down.
"So, let's get this straight, Alex is the Cyber-Knight, and he using the Underground to attack the plaza," Rainbow tried and put the pieces together.
"Yes that's the story," Scoootaloo said. "But no matter what we do, we always make this worse, and now this."
"Scoots, I'll be blunt with you," Rainbow sat down with her. "There will be no amount of screwing up from being an idol to you, including this."
"Rainbow's right," Rarity agreed. "We'll always love, no matter what. Love is what gives us strength."
"That's all a hero really is, someone who's brave enough for the people they care about," Applejack said as they did a group hug. "But we got important things to do, we get the evacuation started."
"Pinkie just texted me, she used the app to warn everyone in Ponyville to evacuate before we go door to door. This leaves the question of where the Nuform that Cyber-Knight has."
"Got his location, the Science research center that has been close for renovations," Trevor said looking at his screen. "Holy-. The energy converter that Alex, Tyler, and I worked on got first place. That's how he's gonna finish making the Nuform unstable enough to blow TAS Corp Plaza."
"Not, only that, Hailey changed the specs, it would only not blow the plaza, we're talking full-on meltdown in Ponyville."
"Oh, dear, it's like he picked it to get back to you," Fluttershy said.
"It was," Sctooaloo as she headed out. "But first things first I need to take care of something."
"Okay, I need to set things with Ridley, tell that I'm done with, no one selling my friends, and walk with it." She said trying to find him. "If was able to hide like a ghost where would I be?"
She continued to swing around the city when something unexpected happened; out of nowhere, a blast of energy was shot at Scootaloo, stunning her. The hero rolled onto a rooftop before she came to a stop at someone's feet.
Her vision was blurry from the blast, she couldn't make out who this figure was; all she heard him say was, "I'm sorry, but this is for your own good."
After that was said, Scootaloo passed out.
When Scootaloo came around, she wasn't on the rooftops anymore; she didn't know where she was. She couldn't leave the room she was in, because she was trapped behind a green energy shield.
The shield was see-through so Rocket Blade could see where she had been taken; it looked like an old underground subway station, one that had been abandoned. The question that was on her mind now was, 'how did she get here?
"I didn't want it to come to this, but you left me no choice." A voice said.
Suddenly, the Phantom uncloaked himself and appeared in front of her. "You think I wouldn't keep an eye on you after I found out about your day job."
"You've been spying on me."
"Yeah, and it's a good thing I was; Thomas explained. "Let Cyber-Knight and TAS Corp destroy each other; go back when the heat dies down."
"No, this city needs me."
"I'm trying to teach you and the others how to survive."
"If you want us to survive, then why sell out why one of my friends then?"
"It wasn't meant to go down like that; you weren't supposed to get caught, Hailey broke our deal."
"That doesn't change the fact that you betrayed my trust." She then looked at the energy field trapping her, "Now let me out of here."
"Damnit Scootaloo, I'm not going to lose you too!"
"I'm not going to let people die, just to save my ass," She prepared her Plasma Punch " You underestimate me big time."
When the force field came down, Rocket Blade pulled herself forward and kicked her uncle away. They both landed on one of the station's train tracks; Phantom activated his gauntlets, ready to fight.
"I don't want to fight you, but I will if I have to."
"So will I."
Phantom charged his gauntlet and released a blast of green energy, Rocket Blade jumped out of the way and shot a Lighting Bolt to his face; once he was temporally blinded, she pulled herself towards him and began punching and kicking him. But when Phantom pulled the web off his face, he knocked her away; she jumped backward and got ready for his next attack.
The two of them spoke while they were fighting, "Why can't you see I'm trying to protect you?!"
"Because all I see you doing is blasting me with that green energy," She replied as she jumped out of the way of one of his blasts.
Phantom grabbed her by the wrists when her guard was down, he pushed her against the wall, trying to get her to listen. He said to her, "Didn't Rainbow Dash teach you anything other than being a hero will get you killed?!"
"She taught me to do the right thing and help others; even if they don't appreciate it."
"Why?!"
"Because it's right." Rocket Blade kicked him in the chest and pushed him away. She then pulled herself towards him and began punching and kicking him again. When he was knocked away by the final kick, he decided to take a different approach to this and cloaked himself.
Rocket Blade now had no idea where he was, but that didn't mean she couldn't sense him coming; with her training with Pinkie. She jumped behind her cloaked uncle and pulled him up into the air; this uncloaked him, allowing her to kick him in the back and slam him onto the ground.
While Phantom was recovering from that, Rocket Blade flew up to one of the platforms above them; she took this time to get her breath back. But suddenly, her father uncloaked himself again and appeared next to her; she moved away from him to avoid any attacks.
"You're throwing yourself at enemies you can't beat; do you know who else did that?"
"Shut up! You lost the right to say it."
Phantom then supercharged his blaster, and he then released a powerful blast from his gauntlet; but Rocket Blade once again dodged the blast and pulled herself towards him, she once again punched and kicked the air out of him.
However, when Phantom knocked his niece away, he pushed a button on his wrist, which generated an energy shield around his body. Rocket Blade needed a way to break this shield, she knew she couldn't touch it directly, so she used objects and throw them at Prowler.
All the items she threw just broke to pieces upon impact, they weren't doing anything to the shield, Phantom just kept walking towards her. But when Rocket Blade threw a fuse box, it was disabled.
Phantom just shouted to his niece, "How are you going to stop Cyber-Knight, do you even have a plan?!"
"No, but that's the way we do things; It's called adapting,"
Rocket Blade then jumped towards her uncle and kicked him off the platform, they both fell back down to the train track, with Phantom hitting the ground first. He rolled across the floor to the wall; when he sat up against it, Rocket Blade shot an electro web at his arm, trapping him.
"Look, I know I messed up; but we're family."
"Family; that didn't stop you from lying, manipulating, and fighting me, being family isn't enough."
"It doesn't have to be like this, you and me hating each other, that's how it happens between me and Rainbow, I won't repeat it.
"I don't either, but like it or not I need to help people, and I'm going to let you down, I need to be better than that."
