disclaimer i wanted to add in a bunch of stats based around what the character is good at but im no good with that stuff so i will reference it less often.
I selected one of the fishes that i had captured at the lake from out from my inventory and thrown it at the wolf. It looked slack jawed but otherwise was amazed that i had such a power, i Impressed it since it was so hungry its stomach looked very small like the belly had not had anything in a while. As it was devouring the first fish i had thrown out a couple more fish. I then started a small fire cooking them for the wolf, the fish of notable size were cooking sense anything else wasn't worth spending time on.
The description on the wolf told me that i was the cause of famine in the area. wonder if reincarnated gamers were bad for the ecosystems that they just killed anything and everything for xp. How many worlds had to adapt into the mindset of survival of the fittest just to survive the gamer. That would probably cause the levels of ordinary animals to increase. It would probably cause some extinctions too in that case i feel like just sticking to ocean creatures and ocean dungons for now.
"Was this thing a dog or a wolf?, Boy or Girl" I checked out its description again i had changed its entire life stye by hunting inside of its watering hole. "Your not that bad of a human you know" the wolf spoke "no one believed me when the bears had started hunting the rabbits it usually isn't worth it for the bear to hunt smaller game so it turned its attention on us wolves"
Animals needed to hunt to survive small game became more scarce and everyone else was suffering the consequences. I felt solely responsible for these animals and took it as a sign to leave this watering hole, The wolf on the other hand was looking in my direction while he was finishing the meal. The wolf asked the asked if he could join me on my adventures throughout the world joining me as a companion. looking down i noticed a small screen from the gamer system asking if i wanted to accept this wolf into my party. Seriously considering it until i remembered all the time i spent trying to level up my swiming skills.
The gamer system label said that the wolf's name was fenrir to the system, while it was clear that such a companion would be undoubtably helpfull on an adventure this companion wasn't very aquatic, please let me join you "no" i said aloud this weird wolf "let me join" the wolf spoke louder, "no" i answered it in a flat tone, back and forth this went for a while.
"No my journey will take place under the sea" "you my friend definitely cannot swim or dive or follow me underwater, so you cannot simply join". After a while it stared at me raising it's ears. It was probably listening to the sound of rushing water. It jumped over my head running a short distance into a large raging river this idiot of a dog jumped in and realized its mystake. If it wanted me to be its master so much i was going to put it through hell after this, i had to go and save it. After rescuing the mutt and pulling it out of the water i was mad but i pushed accept on the party screen.
How fast does your life Flash before your eyes is it in the span of a few seconds the wolf was coughing feverishly but after berating It decided to let it tag along as long as it stayed on land for the foreseeable future. Will you wait for a reward if you were to give me peace. The dogs powers over the gamer system was limited but diffrent he somehow found a way to access where i kept all my food, so i had to beat some sence into fenrir and also had to teach it how to store food instead of eating everything.
This little dog, I had to go and push its buttons then I had to teach you until it was competent in the water.. Our 1st adventure I decided near the shore was best Not that many things were found on the beach since we were near the cove but I knew it was the perfect place to start to see the difference between fishing and fighting attacking fish for xp is that im actually swimming in the later half.
A giant crab stood on the shoreline it was standing between me and the first glimpse of the sea that i had seen in this life. I wasn't going to try and find a diffrent spot but since this guy was hogging up the entire shoreline at least from where i was standing, it looked like there was only a small piece of shore between two huge rocks. This giant crab was going to become my next meal since me and the wolf had finished everything i had stored in my inventory at the time. Allready thinking about how i was going to store the thing mumbling to myself "store the legs first then see if the claws can fit, afterwards clean it and cook it inside the shell then steam it with its legs.
It soon noticed me walking towards it and then it took an aggressive stance ready to snap at me i think i looked like a snack to it. Right when it swung through i punched it in the gut it was heavily armored so i think i only bruised it. Some of its shell looked to come off and the place where i punched had a spider web of cracks but it was ready to go again as it realized i wouldn't be an easy lunch.
It took a more aggressive stance seeing me as a threat to its territory. I grinned as i dogged the giant claw that wanted to turn me into a smear on the ground. The giant dust cloud masked me in it's presence using that i ran up the giant claw and kicking one of its giant black eyeballs. It was a critical hit as i saw the crab shriek and start attacking at me more aggressively.
Almost getting snipped in half on more than one occasion. I seriously needed to defeat it with some serious firepower, after kicking it's other eye i think it was going to retreat back into the water. I blocked its path and started on my kamehameha, I shouted as it was trying to enter the ocean. I think it was dead when i seen it lying on it's back very singed all over it's belly.
The wolf had an amazed look on its face as it witnessed my fight with the crab. It was getting rather late as i finished setting up the camp, the stone firepit shone as i finished parting the crab meat. I secured the crab claws to a couple of sticks and cooked them that way over the fire. I was going to hunt some more in the water tomorrow afer a well fought meal and some rest.
It was morning when i began my decent into the ocean water as i sunk down into the water i noticed a crab just sleeping there. This crab had sharper claws than the other one and also i wouldn't know if i could beat one underwater just yet. The crab looked like it was related to the other crab monster i had defeated on the surface. lets just hope that these crabs dont hold grudges over family.
It occasionally started walking around the floor and snapping at random fish that just passed by it. It seemed to be trying for its next meal when i found my next target.
I had left Fenrir the wolf on the shore i told it to start hunting small things around the beach but if it couldn't even do that i also taught it how to fish with some equipment i found in the cove. After i invited the wolf into the party, I was shown an evolution progress bar and a whole tree with wolf variations. This was it's evolution branch just that the wolf needed to had to have a certain amount of stats before it could evolve.
After swimming for a while i began noticing fish that would net me hgher xp 5xp 4XP3XP2XP1xp Sure it was a slow grind but but I was down there they're a whole day to my total XP gain that came was based on how many fish I caught not including brakes So 50XP if I caught 10 large size fish. There was this fish that put up a real struggle since it was so much so larger than the other fish i had to deal with that it game me 50xp when i killed one it almost swollowed me whole. I have been doing this for a few days now my stat point gain was far larger than my total xp gain. Which is fine since i cannot wait to see how the deep sea pressure develops my body.
i could catch a 50xp fish but it would more time efficient to catch a lot of smaller fish early on it would also be more swimming which will boost my agility. I don't mind a good fight whatever wants to fight me i will fight it back i headed back to shore but the sight i was greated to was my pet wolf on a recliner tanning where did he even get the mirror recliner unbrella towel and suntan lotion, that lazy wolf was leeching off my exp gain from the shoreline while i was greeted back. There were a pile of fishbones from where i was standing so this leach was also eating my food.
Sure xp was a two way street but since i didn't want it to die and i was busy in the ocean i just let it laze around here. But that wolf was getting to be a rather large size just by accumulating xp and getting to eat large portions of fish that i brought back. It just gaining a huge size by eating almost everything i caught, "hey" i asked "are you a girl or a boy" "uhh a boy".
They were the best of buds man and canine sitting together on a beach while a fire sat perfectly placed between them and a beautiful sunset shone a beautiful orange the crack of the fire setting up a beautiful local ambiance. I decided to evolve fenrir into a watertype today and it was as simple as pushing on her evolutionary tree after a rather intense and aburpt howl came from him as i noticed his fur changeing into a odd mix of a regular beach dog. His hair turned sharper and i would guess turned more water resistant.
In the morning when i awoke i was greeted to the sight of an odd dogwolf, my odd dog wolf he looked happy that she could swim now. So happy was it now in fact that he began swimming everywhere happily. So we decided to go on an adventure into deeper waters after packing everything up we went on a journey it looked like we reached the start of the abyss and where my real training begins most sea animals will only swim directly at you then snap they're jaws at you to attack like a shark or they have weaponry attached to themselves so be ready to defend yourself fenrir.

i am allocating time into writing now hopefully i will finish more also had to change the writing process to see if it would go faster but that seemed to slow me down looking for it dont worry i found a replacement in the end. Bye see you next time on dragonballroshi
