Chapter 3

→ Nazarick, Spider Paradies / Arachama and Entoma ←

After the talk was over Arachama took Entoma with her and woke up with Entoma cuddling with her in her cocoon. Happiness flowed through her body as she remembered Genjiro, the arachne-player, who would take another route than her. He always liked to play the dark version of her.

Rousing from her tiredness and memories Arachama took the sleeping Entoma like a baby and began moving towards the canteen. Once there she took two plates full of "albion Sheep" and placed the two plates at two seats. Once that was done she woke her Enti up and both ate their plates. After a short interval other maids walked in and began to eat. Most of them kept a respectful distance to our duo.

"I will have to do my duties, mom" Entoma said and Arachama simply nodded.

After breakfast and letting Entoma go for the day Arachama moved to the office of Ainz. Once there she saw Ainz wearing a black armor with golden trimms, a red cape and two giant swords.

She went to her couch and stared at Ainz. Albedo then went in and looked deeply saddened.

"So. You will be playing your role? Where is Naberal?" Arachama asked.

"She is on her way." Ainz said.

"You know, this armor could maybe have a higher worth than multiple villages or even fiefdoms, right?" Arachama asked.

"Yes. But sadly I can't go with lower grade equipment or the NPC wouldn't let me go" Ainz replied

"Ok. Albedo, dear. Could you go and get two homunculi-maids and Yuri Alpha?" Arachama asked Albedo.

"Of course" Albedo replied and moved out as fast as possible. Meanwhile she nearly ran over Naberal Gamme, who tried to enter.

"Ara ara. Narberal Gamma. How are you doing?" Arachama asked

"I am doing well my lady." Narberal Gamma replied.

"What will be the covernames Ainz? Surely you don't want to spread the name "Ainz" through the world when you have it connected with Nazarick?" Arachama asked.

"I will be going as Momon and Narberal will be Nabe. How will you name your pawns outside and what exactly will you do?" Ainz answered and asked.

"I will have Yuri Alpha as a rich daughter of a merchant. Her family ordered her to flee a country in turmoil. She will be named, hmm, Yuri Yamana. I will send a homunculi-maid with her. The other will write the entries of the "Spider Papers", so that we have our intell. I will try to sell things through Yuri. Then I will see where this leads." Arachama answered.

The homunculi-maids were quite liked by the 41 members of Ainz Ooal Gown. They were nearly humans, as the name suggests they were homunculi. Homunculi were artificial humans. These maids had no combat-value. But that wasn't their purpose. They were simply used for roleplay and to bring life to the empty building of Nazarick. Now they cleaned everything and cept Nazarick cared for. All of them wore similar french–maid dresses and were blond. The only clear differences were the different colors of blond and the style they used for their hair.

When Momon was ready they went through a portal and left Arachama in Ainzs office. She simply sighed and started knitting, till a knock was heard on the heavy door.

"Come in please." Arachama said and Albedo went in with Yuri Alpha and two homunculi-maids.

One of them had long hair with a darker shade of blond. Arachama believed she was called Cixous. The other homunculi-maid had a blond color which went more into gray. She had shoulder long hair with two bangs hugging her face. She was Fith.

"As ordered. Yuri Alpha and two homunculi-maids gathered here." Albedo said.

"Yes. I have two assignments. One would be for one of the two homunculi. I have these "Spider Papers" It will be likely that in some days written passages will appear. I will need one of you two to write them on separate papers and store them for Albedo, Monga or me to read." Arachama said.

Cixous and Fith began to argue about who would do the job until Albedo nearly lost her cool and threw a coin. Cixous won and would therefore get the assignment.

"Now to the second assignment. Yuri and Fith will go on a mission on my part. Fith will not need a new identity, since she will act as maid. Yuri, you will live as Yuri Yamana. You will play the role of a daughter of a rich merchant. Sadly your country got into a terrible turmoil and your father paid for you to flee. You heard that the "Baharut Empire" is amongst the best alternatives, and therefore you went there. There are multiple goals. One of them is to get information. Then there is my personal plan to acquire most of their economy. That is where I come into play. I will deal with that part off the mission while Yuri will act as my proxy, alright?" Arachama asked and Yuri and Fith nodded.

Arachama then signaled them to come closer to a table with a map of the Baharut Empire, as close as they could get it at least.

"Good, I will let you take a carriage. You will sadly only have horses. I will also leave 500 gold coins with you. I will drop you off with a "Gate" close to Arwintar, where your first step is to buy a nice mansion. When that is done you will contact me per "Message" and I will then take some goods from our treasury, which are older and will not be used anyway. We will sell them and then we will start. Any questions?" Arachama asked.

Fith shook her head while Yuri Alpha looked thinking, then she also shook her head. Both then left and

Yuri and Fith went to prepare a carriage and two horses. Arachama meanwhile waited for them in the office and knit another pillow. When the two NPC were finished they came back to report their readiness. There were another four pillows inside the office.

"Ara ara. So we can begin our fun, right?" Arachama stated.

"I have only two questions for lady Arachama." Yuri Alpha begann.

"Yes, Yuri?" Arachama stated, while looking over.

"One would be how many "Message", scrolls we could take with us."

"For the time now you will take ten. Cant be careful enough." Arachama answered.

"The second would be why you need us as proxy. I mean you're a supreme being. One as exalted as you should be welcomed with open arms?" Yuri asked.

"Sadly humans fear beings like Monga and me. Therefore we need to keep it a secret, this also counts for your races. You will play humans, but dont act stupid. Also try to keep the meetings organized, so I can go without fearing to be seen." Arachama replied. Yuri nodded while Fith looked shocked.

"L-L-lady Arachama? May I ask what all the pillows there are for?" Fith asked and pointed to a pile of 20 pillows and quite a lot of knitted clothing.

"Let's call them gifts. I can't let you go without anything. I already feel bad for not bringing something to eat for you." Arachama stated and looked into another corner, while Yuri patted her and Fith packed the pillows and clothing safely into another carriage, which was behind the main carriage.

"We will be fine." Yuri Alpha stated.

"Good. Then "Gate" Goodbye my dears." Arachama said and aportal opened.

The carriage together with Yuri Alpha and Fith disappeared.

Arachama then proceeded to get to the sixth floor.

→ Sixth floor / Arachama and Aura Bella Fiore ←

Arachama appeared at the entrance to the Arena. Aura was preparing to move out and Mare meanwhile read a book. Arachama identified it as "The Hobbit".

"Good day my lady Arachama" Aura greeted and began to kneel.

Mare immediately looked up, placed the book back in her back and practically flew towards the two and then bowed.

"Good day my lady Arachama." Mare said so fast, that Arachama was surprised.

"Aura I wanted to talk to you. Let's walk a bit, since I don't want to interrupt Mares reading a good book" Arachama said and patted Mares' head.

Aura nodded and both began to walk. Arachama only saw how Mare took her book out again and continued to read.

"I am sorry for my brother's behavior" Aura shot out once they began to walk through a forest.

"You don't need to be sorry. I can understand if he is reading." Arachama said.

"Did Monga already tell you to scout the forest south of us?" She then asked. Aura nodded.

"He ordered me to scout and find potential beasts. They could either help him to infiltrate the adventurers guild or be captured and trained." Aura explained.

"You know that Monga and I had a battle close to the forest. I used "Giant Tarantula" to summon a giant tarantula. I then let it go into the forest. When you find it. Either let it live in peace or let it live either in this forest on the sixth floor or close to my den." Arachama told Aura.

"That should be no problem. Since I don't have a giant tarantula, might I ask to keep it in this forest?" Aura asked.

"As long as you treat it well," Arachama said. Aura nodded.

They both then walked back to the arena and Arachama then decided to do some paperwork. She therefore teleported back to the office from Ainz, knowing that it will not be occupied by Ainz for quite some time. Once she entered she saw Albedo placing her table directly to the sides of Ainz. There also was a table to the side with "Spider Paper" and some normal papers.

Arachama then took the seat from Ainz and placed it against the wall. She then took her couch and placed it so that she could use the Ainz desk.

"Albedo dear, how does the network in Nazarick precisely work?" Arachama asked and Albedo then explained it in detail.

Arachama was shocked. There was little communication between each floor guardian. Even the communication towards the guardian overseer was limited. The floor guardians would give a monthly report and let it be brought to the office of Ainz. Albedo then would look over the ones from the higher levels and that would be it.

"That's horrendous" Arachama thought while Albedo explained it over an hour.

"Albedo, I want to increase the communication Network. I will let you work it out. I also want to look over the finalized plans. Meanwhile I will eat. I am hungry. Do you also want to eat something?" Arachama asked.

"I am not hungry. I will also immediately begin the task you gave me." Albedo stated and sat at her desk. Arachama meanwhile began her trip towards the canteen.

→ Close to Carne village and Forest of Tob / Nigun ←

Nigun, the leader of the sunlight scripture, woke up from a long and dreamless sleep. He was in pain. Everything felt like it was on fire. He just knew one thing.

"I must warn the Cardinals and the Pontifex." was the only thing that shot through his head. So he stood up, as best as he could, and lumped over to the streets. He didn't know how long he was out, but he needed to travel fast. He knew that he didn't look to the villages east. He moved southwards, since they would have proceeded to decimate villages there. So he knew that those villages were fine.

"Once I see a village with a horse, I will steal it and ride back home. Fast since an arachne running amok is dangerous." Nigun thought.

He traveled for hours, until he saw, not a village but an inn. Outside of it was a horse. He went quietly and got closer. Once close enough he took its reign and placed himself on top. Then he let the horse gallop towards the Theocracy.

Unbeknown to him, a red glow could have been visible under his clothes. It was in his abdomen and would have been painful to anyone. Sadly for Nigun, he had pain everywhere and therefore did not recognise this pain as something new.

→ Near Arwintar / Yuri Alpha and Fith ←

Yuri Alpha was slightly concerned. The main reason was for her sister Entoma, since Entoma was doing less work. The second reason was Arachama. Arachama obviously has big problems, either with herself or with the world. Then on the other hand, that would be questioning the supreme beings, which could be seen as heretical.

She exhaled while fith used drove the carriage. Yuri had to play a role and would play it dutifully. She thought about a good accent, until she decided to pronounce the letters "r" and "s" stronger.

"This should suffice" thought Yuri and spoke on low volume, so that she could get used to it.

She also looked outside the window from time to time, since it was still a trip towards the capital of the Baharut Empire. She then went through the information she had.

"Let's see. The Baharut Empire, while having an adventurer-guild, taxes it heavily. It also has a strong professional army, called legions. The emperor is named Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix. His legitimacy is questioned, because he has only four names? There I need to get more information. Ahh he is also called "bloody emperor" because of his purges of the nobility. The Baharut Empire also has a problem with a criminal syndicate and slavetrade. But in comparison it is far more meritocratic and therefore friendlier to people, if you have the merit." Yuri thought. She had to find one or two good reasons why she could have "fled" to the Baharut Empire.

She was so deep in her mind that she didn't realize that the carriage stopped. She looked out of her window and saw a man in shining, iron, plated armor. He looked inside the carriage and ogled her, until his superior knocked on his head and signaled them to move. Yuri meanwhile waved at the superior, signaling for him to come closer so she could ask questions.

"Ahh. Yes mam´?" asked the soldier.

"I would like to ask how I could buy a mansion in Arwintar, since I am from far away. I want to have it legally and I am quite new to all this and am therefore quite unused to this" Yuri exclaimed.

"You should ask at the city hall. Since the purge there are many free mansions and houses. But they belong to the Empire, therefore the Emperor. If you want one and have the financial means you can buy one there. But go now, since the queue is only getting longer, mam´have a good day" The soldier explained and Yuri knew what to do.

"Thank you, good sir." Yuri said and left two gold coins. The soldier looked baffled but regardless took it.

It took much time for Yuri and Fith to find some traders. Once they had found some willing traders the real problem started. They needed to exchange the coins from Yggdrasil into gold coins. This took much pain and gave them headaches. In the end they exchanged the coins for the value of the gold and the 500 Ygdrasilcoins were worth 1500 gold coins. Sadly they needed many traders for this exchange.

The carriage moved through Arwintar, sometimes stopping, so that Fith could ask for directions. Once they were close enough, Fith stopped the carriage and Fith pointed to the city hall. Yuri nodded and walked to the building. Once she entered the building, she found herself in a maze. At least her search for the right burau felt like a walk through a maze.

Once the right clerk was found, it went fairly quickly.

The clerk was a smaller man, wearing black pants and a tucked in, blue shirt. He had a blond beard and blond hair. His figure would be described by Yuri as a ball. He sat behind his deck and read a book, when Yuri knocked at the opened door frame.

"Come in, come in. What can I do for you, miss?" He said.

"Good day. My name is Yuri Yamana. Sadly I only came here today and I would need a home for the foreseeable future. I hear that there are buildings sold in the city hall." Yuri explained.

"There are houses, or more accurately, mansions. But those are expensive and range from 100 gold coins to up to 350 gold coins." The clerk replied.

"If that is it, we don't have a problem, how would that be done?" Yuri asked. The clerk looked and signed for Yuri to sit.

"SInce the purge of the nobility, the sacked nobles' mansions became officially property of the Baharut Empire, or more accurately the Emperor. My office is tasked with selling the properties, since they have worth but are a liability on the treasury.

If you want to buy a house, we will look at the specifics that the mansions should fulfill. Then I will go through files and we select a few mansions. Then we will take a tour, so that you have a picture of the mansions and know what you buy. Once that is done and you decide on a mansion, we will come back here and you will pay the sum to the treasury, with me and the treasurer as witness." the clerk explained.

"Then when will we start?" Yuri asked.

"First, what are you looking for?" The clerk asked and got the files of the mansions out of a Shelf

"We will need a big storage room and, if possible, a big room, which can be used as a bedroom." Yuri explained.

"I see," the clerk said.

It would take much more time to go through quite a number of mansions, until a selection of three mansions would be visited.

"We should go now, so that you can pay this evening." the clerk said.

"How close are they?" Yuri asked.

"We can move on foot." the clerk answered.

"I just need to tell my maid to wait." Yuri explained.

"We will meet at the entrance of the city hall. I need to close this burau." replied the clerk.

Yuri went back to the carriage and saw Fith waiting at the seat for the rider, having her arms behind her back and resting.

"That is strange, since when do they rest?" Yuri asked herself, she then noticed a glint underneath Fiths head.

"Fith, I will have to go with the clerk, once that is done I will take the money and we can move in and report to lady Arachama." Yuri explained.

"Heh, oh yeah. I understand. I just need to keep awake." Fith said in a monotone voice. She then took the pillow and placed it inside the carriage.

"What is going on? Aren't you usually more cheerful?" asked Yuri.

"I took one of the pillows from lady Arachama. It is so fluffy." Fith replied and Yuri just shook her head.

"Did you understand what I said?" Yuri asked.

"Yes. Look after the carriage until you have paid and we can move in and report today evening." Fith smiled and nodded.

"Good. I will see you later" Yuri stated and got back to the entrance of the city hall.

They went over the first two mansions quite fast. While they fulfilled the conditions that Yuri had set up, they had major disadvantages. One was much too public. It was easy to see inside from the streets, which would make it much harder to hide Arachama. Depending on how close you were and the angle you could see the spider webs in the corners, just by standing at the fence of the grounds. The second was closed off and even had much room for storage. The problem here was the mosaic. Those depicted a hero fighting many heteromorphs, many of those being insectoid. Yuri would never forgive herself, if she had to invite her mistress to such an insult.

At the final mansion, Yuri was quite happy with the results. It was a big mansion. It had an extremely large ground, surrounded by a fence with spikes. The fence was on top of a small wall and was built in the gothic style. The mansion itself was in a small forest. The front was built in the gothic style, fitting the fence. The way to the entrance was wide enough for carriages, even if slightly overgrown, but small enough that the forest was a solid piece.

"This is the final mansion, before we move in one word." The clerk said and Yuri nodded.

"This mansion costs around 380 gold coins. This price is quite low, but it has a reason. In this building many of the nobles who opposed our current emperor were slaughtered. Please keep that in mind, I don't want to be labeled as a silver tongue." The clerk explained and Yuri nodded.

"Why does he tell me that? It is not that I and a few homunculi could take care of that. But if I get it cheaper then it's worth, then so be it." Yuri thought.

Then they moved in. The floor, walls and ceiling was made from black marble. The walls, while not decorated with paintings and such, had heavy curtains before them. The Ceiling was held by white pillars, which had patterns with gold. The foyer was big and carpeted with a red carpet. Yuri nodded and then the clerk and her went through the building.

The halls, while having windows, could not be seen from the streets. Thanks to the forest around the mansion. It had the same structure as the foyer of the mansion.

Once Yuri saw the storage building she was sold. It was, according to the clerk, a vince cellar. It was below the whole mansion and had a second floor, even when the second was smaller. This was the biggest storage room from the three mansions. They had entered the cellar through a hidden entrance at the small connection between the foyer and the kitchen

The mansion was subdivided in three areas. Every area inside the mansion had a bathroom, a living room, a study and three bedrooms. Every living room was connected to the foyer. One was west, one was east and one was north of the foyer. Just behind the foyer was a giant kitchen, which was shown to Yuri and she had to hide her disgusted face at the primitive technology.

The living rooms were equipped with multiple couches and small tables. While the studies only had a desk, a chair and empty shelves. Then there were the bedrooms, which were equipped with a large bed with black blankets and pillows and a drawer at its sides. A big closet was opposite the bed and a window was either south or westwards. All in all the mansion would have been much more expensive, if it hadn't had a massacre within its halls.

Yuri already knew that she would buy this mansion for lady Arachama, and had therefore planned improvements. The clerk had already realized that Yuri would buy the mansion and showed where the massacre had taken place. Yuri still saw bloodstains, even if she was sure the humans wouldn't see them. She added new curtains for this place. Inwardly she shrugged.

When the tour came to a close, the clerk looked at her.

"What do you think, Yuri Yamana?" the clerk asked.

"I will buy it. When we head back I will go to the carriage for the money, 380 gold coins, right?" Yuri asked and the clerk nodded. Both began to go to the city hall. Once at the city hall she got the money from the carriage while the clerk prepared the transfer.

Yuri went from her carriage to the city hall, 380 gold coins in a pouch, and waited for a short while at the entrance of the city hall. The clerk fetched her and brought her to the treasurer. Once in the treasury the clerk places keys and documents on a table.

"These are the keys to the mansion. Per law we don't have any other key to the mansion. These documents are proof of your ownership over the mansion, once you, as the buyer, me, as the seller, and the treasurer, as witness, sign them." The clerk explained. Yuri nodded, opened the pouch and placed 380 coins in small towers of ten in front of the treasurer.

"These are 380 gold coins." The treasurer had counted them and then opened a chest, placing the money inside. Afterwards he brought the chest into a safe. Then he came back and the clerk signed a paper for the treasurer.

"It is for him. It says that I saw him placing the chest with the money into the vault." The clerk explained.

All three then signed the documents and the clerk placed the keys and documents into a small chest, for easier handling.

"Before I forget. You should register at the center for immigrants. While it will be a formality, it is still necessary. You should have time till next year." The treasurer stated and Yuri nodded.

"I have the papers necessary, placed to the keys and documents. When you have filled them out you can bring them to me and I will manage the rest. Look at it as part of the transaction" The clerk stated.

"I understand. Is it a problem if I send my maid to bring them here?" Yuri asked.

"It is not. As long as your signature is on them." The clerk explained.

"Thank you. I should go now, since there will probably be much to do with my new mansion. I wish you both luck for your endeavors." Yuri said and left.

Once she left the city hall and got back to the carriage she nodded to Fith. She explained the route and they moved towards the mansion. Once there they planned the renovations and wrote documents for the necessary resources for Nazarick to approve. Then they message Albedo to ask for a "Gate" and ask 20 homunculi maids to help them clean, clear, restock and renovate the mansion as far as they could without the resources they asked Nazarick for.

→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Entoma ←

Deep in the night Entoma appeared and brought the resources in question with her. Entoma had asked multiple homunculi maids to carry them. She also brought with her many pillows, blankets, clothes, lesser weapons and some scrolls of lesser spells.

"Ahh mother. Why do you knit so much? And give it away? You are far too nice to us and hopefully you will not spoil us rotten" Entoma thought.

She looked for Yuri Alpha to talk with her. Once she found Yuri Alpha she waved for her and they left for a study, which was ready. Once there Yuri signaled for Entoma to sit.

"How can I help you sister?" Yuri asked.

"I am here to deliver these" , Entoma said, placing scrolls, multiple documents and more Yggdrasil coins in front of Yuri.

"The scrolls for "Gate" will make it far easier to move between Nazarick and here. Does Arachama have orders, aside from renovating the building?" Yuri asked.

"Our lady had collected items, which are of lesser quality, but could be sold for profit. She wants you to gather a list of prices for all items you can. She also wants you to check the quality of the products that are usually sold." Entoma replied.

"That should be easy. How are the supreme beings?" Yuri asked.

"Lord Ainz is infiltrating the Re-Estize kingdom. If I believe mother, he is doing well. He will use a creature called "Wise King Of The Forest" to advance his "career" as an adventurer. Mother meanwhile improved aspects of Nazarick, which worried her. She will try to move in tomorrow to start her plans in the Baharut Empire. Expect her in the morning." Entoma said and Yuri nodded, a drop of sweat forming.

"Do you need help? I could ask more maids, since it is short notice." Entoma asked.

"No, if we gather too many maids, Nazarick will get neglected. That could neither of us do to the place the supreme ones call home." Yuri stated, Entoma nodded.

"Lady Arachama also ordered me to give her gratitude for your quick success. She also ordered me to look around the mansion, could I ask you to lead me after we are finished? I also want to ask something" Entoma asked.

"We can do that. But I also have documents to fill out." Yuri said and showed those documents.

"No problem." Entoma said and then watched Yuri fill out documents. Entoma meanwhile ate a cockroach, which she catched at Nazarick. The paperwork was finished quite fast, thanks to a monocle which translated all the written text.

After the paperwork was done Yuri and Entoma walked around the mansion, staying clear of the fence and only looking over the forest. The only memorable things in the forest was a shed with utensils and a shed for carriages, which Fith had parked Yuri's carriage inside, and with a stable inside.

Afterwards they walked back in and were greeted by 21 maids trying to lift an utensils into the kitchen. Yuri and Entoma helped them and the maids then proceeded to replace the old kitchen with a fitting one from Nazarcik. Yuri and Entoma, after they helped, moved back to the study.

"Now we need to organize the rooms." Yuri said and Entoma looked at a map.

"We will use the northern part for Lady Arachama. The eastern part will be used by Fith and me and the western part can be used according to the situations." Yuri thought loud and Entoma nodded. Yuri explained where everything was within the mansion, at least the parts that weren't shown to her.

"Then I shall move to mothers part of the mansion and prepare it for tomorrow morning. I might change it drastically. You as her proxy will have to avoid showing that part of the mansion." Entoma said and Yuri nodded.

At that moment Fith came into the study and looked at Yuri.

"We finished the kitchen. You might want to look over it. We will move to the curtains in the eastern part of the mansion and change them with some spare from Nazarick." Fith reported and moved out, Yuri meanwhile nodded.

"Till tomorrow morning, sister," Entoma said.

"Till tomorrow morning," Yuri replied.

Entoma walked into the foyer and then to the northern living room. She looked around and then proceeded to the bedroom. She decided that she would start there. She had prepared the necessary resources and items to renovate the room to her mothers taste. She started by taking out the bed, desk and closet. She placed them into the living room for now. She then went into the two other bedrooms and also cleared them of any items. This repeated for the study and the bathroom. She then sent the items, that were now crowding the living room, to the other items, which the homunculi maids collected.

Afterwards she cleaned the mansion throughout. Nothing remained there. Not even spider webs. Though Entoma was careful to set the spiders outside of the mansion into the forest. After the cleaning Entoma thought about which rooms she would equip for her mother. She needed an office, a bedroom, a spare bedroom, a room to store documents and a smaller storage room.

She then used a "Gate" scroll and got the items for her mother. Those were couches, two beds, many tables and desks, and many pillows. She got them over with the help of the maids and then she equipped the rooms. The Bedroom now had a bed, a knitted version from her mother, together with a thick carpet made of spider silk. The corners also were overflowing with pillows, since Entoma didn't know where to put them all.

One of the former bedrooms became a storage room. Entoma simply placed many shelves there. She did the same for the room, where Arachama would store documents.

After that she equipped the office. She placed a couch, like Arachama used in Ainz office, at the far wall of the room. Before that she placed a big desk. Entomas mother would still be able to get to the couch.

The bathroom meanwhile was a calamity, not worthy of her mother. So Entoma simply asked the homunculi maids to replace it, which they did.

After all her decorations were done she went to Yuri and collected all the documents, which were not needed by Yuri that day. Those were the documents for the mansion. She placed those on the desk and then went into the new kitchen to prepare some "bipedal sheep" for her mother.

→ Nazarick Ainz office / Arachama and Albedo ←

Arachama and Albedo were in a heated debate since Arachama told Albedo that she would visit the mansion Yuri Alpha got at Arwintar.

"My lady, please see the reason. It is far too dangerous. We don't know if there will be danger that could kill you." Albedo pleaded.

"I must oversee and be near Yuri Alpha in the beginning, so that we get a clean start." Arachama replied.

This was a part of the exchange for quite some time, until Demiurge came in.

"What do you want, Demiurge" Albedo hissed.

"I just want to report that I have a plan to stabilize our supply of scrolls. If either Lady Arachama or Lord Ainz could approve, I could start." Demiurge reported.

"What is the plan?" Arachama asked, slightly tired since she had to argue with Albedo the whole night.

"I propose that we can use the skin of bipedal sheep, or albion sheep. It is at least sturdy enough for lower but useful spells, like "Gate"." Demiurge said.

"Sounds good. Now Albedo. Like I said. I should at least overlook the start of my plan." Arachama said.

Demiurge looked between Albedo and Arachama, then placed his glasses a bit higher on his nose.

"Is that plan?" Demiurge asked.

"How does he know of my plan? Does he know my plan?" She thought. But since it seemed like it supported her, Arachama nodded.

"Ahh. Albedo. For that plan to succeed we must follow our supreme beings every word. If the supreme beings watch over us the plan will work perfectly." Demiurge stated while Arachama was stunned.

"What plan are you talking about?" Albedo asked.

"Thanks Albedo. I could cuddle you right now." Arachama thought while hugging a chibi-Albedo in her mind.

"Don't you know? Lady Arachama wants to take over the economy of the Baharut Empire, so that she could destroy it from within. Once the economy is down we can more easily take over and conquer the world." Demiurge said.

"HOW DID THEY GET THAT IDEA?" Arachama thought and looked like a deer in the car light.

"How did you come to that conclusion?" Arachama asked, exhausted.

"Ahh my lady Arachama. When I was with Lord Ainz, he looked at the sky. He said that the sky looked like a treasure, worth getting. Therefore it was easy to understand the first step of his plan. Sadly I can only follow a small part of Lord Ainz´s plan." Demiurge explained.

"I should ask Ainz later. This is getting dangerous." Arachama thought and looked at Demiurge.

"So you understand that I should oversee the project then?" Arachama said, completely mentally devastated.

"Of course lady Arachama." Demiurge reiterated.

"See Albedo. We are two in this room who think that I should oversee the start of my project. I will have Entoma and Yuri Alpha there." Arachama stated. Albedo looked defeated and simply nodded.

"Don't be sad Albedo. I believe that you will manage. You shall rise to the challenge" Arachama tried to cheer up Albedo, who now looked determined.

"You are right, lady Arachama. If I can't grow at that challenge, how will I ever be worthy of Ainz?" Albedo asked and Arachama ignored.

"I will be going now." Arachama said, nodded and left the office.

Once outside of the office Arachama thought about the next steps. She needed to talk to Ainz about watching their words. She also needed to get to that mansion. Not to forget, she needed sleep and food. Arachama thought shortly and then had decided to first go to the mansion.

"Entoma, be so nice and open a portal for your dear mother, pretty please?" Arachama messaged.

"Of course mother." Entoma replied and a portal formed.

Once in the mansion she could see a living room, which was already fitted nicely for an arachne like her. Entoma kneeled, together with Yuri Alpha. The homunculi maids were heard in the foyer.

"Mother" Entoma said

"Lady Arachama, how may I serve you?" Yuri Alpha asked. As to answer Arachamas stomach grumbled.

"I am hungry, could you bring me something edible Entoma?" Arachama asked.

Entoma immediately got up and ran towards the kitchen.

"Now Yuri Alpha. How is our small project moving forward?" Arachama asked.

Yuri then led her to an office, Arachama immediately sat down at the couch behind a desk while Yuri sat opposite.

"We have enough money to begin a small enterprise, in theory. While we speak I sent Fith with documents, which will allow us to settle as immigrants. I placed a blueprint, made by Fith, to the documents for the mansion." Yuri explained.

"That sounds good. I want you to gather a list of goods and prices in Arwintar. I will eat and then go to sleep." Arachama said. At that moment Entoma came into the study with a plate full of steaks from bipedal sheep, medium rare.

Yuri Alpha stood up to do her duty while Arachama ate her breakfast. Once Arachama was finished she said good night to Entoma. She took Entoma and hugged her and went into her bed chamber.

Once inside she cuddled with Entoma while doing her last point before falling asleep.

"Ainz, what the heck did you order the NPC?" Arachama asked.

"What do you mean?" Ainz replied.

"Demiurge said something about stars and treasure." Arachama said.

"Yeah. I was out on the first night. I saw the sky while Demiurge heard me rambling, why?" Ainz answered.

"Demiurge seemed to have understood that as a hint for some grand scheme." Arachama replied.

"What? I never intended it that way. Please tell me that they don't want to do something terrible or stupid" Ainz messaged back.

"Demiurge only tries to conquer the world for Ainz Ooal Gown" Arachama replied sarcastically

"WHAT?" Ainz cried, obviously dieing inside.

"We will speak about it and how to proceed. I am going to bed since I had to argue with your wife the whole night. Good night" Arachama replied and then cut the connection.

.

After the small discussion Arachama closed her eyes, hugged Entoma and then fell asleep.
