Hey guys and gals, welcome back to Konooo Suba and you may be wondering what's going on here?
Well you see I thought it might be interesting if I try and show a bit of what Kenji and Tamazaki's past were like before they were reincarnated.
The first one of these will be on Kenji and what led up to him dieting and reincarnating, as well as a bit of remake of his interaction with Eris.
And then later on I will do a chapter on Tamazaki's origin as well as a bit of what he did before meeting Kougami,
So with that said, let's do this!

Dreamscape
Third person P.O.V.
"WAAAAAHHHH!" A man in his 20's yelled as he was thrown down a set of stairs by a green Mantis monster only to be grabbed on the shirt by a floating bird themed hand.
"Ankh? Why are you trying to save that human" The monster asked, as the hand placed the man on the ground.
"You, what's your name?" The now named Ankh asked, as Eiji blinked "Huh, uh Hino Eiji".
"Eiji huh? Well you've actually impressed me, so I'll tell you how we can get out of here alive." Ankh said, before a glow dimmed from his body a stone slab fell out of the forearm before he grabbed it.
"Is that…the Seal?!" The Mantis Yummy gasped, stepping back.
Ankh then placed the stone on Eiji waist as it glowed and shattered, turning into a black-and-blue belt with 3 slots and a silver the right side of the belt, was a round scanner-like device and on the left side was an oval container.
"E-Eh" Eiji said, looking at the belt as Ankh turned to the monster.
"These sticky fingers took more than just Core Medals" he waved his finger at the mantis humanoid before looking at Eiji "Eiji, if we all want to make it out alive,then you're gonna have to fight him."
"F-fight him? Seriously?" he asked nervously.
Ankh then pulled out 3 medals, a red one depicting a hawk, a yellow one depicting a tiger and a green one depicting a Grasshopper.
"Use these 3 core medals…" he said, before gesturing them to the belt "and place them here"
"Don't listen to Ankh. You'll pay a price for using it." He said, slowly walking towards them.
"Oi," Ankh grabbed Eiji's cheeks to get his attention. "What's the harm in trying? It's better than us dying" he 'clenched' his hand into a fist "Henshin"
"No!" yelled the mantis monster.
Eiji looked at Ankh before a grin grew on his face as he turned back to the monster.
"If I've learned one thing, it's saving lives…ain't cheap!" he said, walking towards the monster.
He then flipped the red medal in the air and caught it, before placing the red medal on the 1st slot.
He then grabbed the green medal with a grasshopper symbol, placing it on the 3rd slot.
Finally grabbing the yellow medal resembling a tiger and placing it on the middle slot, then tilting it.
Ankh went to the right-side of the belt and grabbed the scanner.
"Use this" he gestured to the scanner and handed it to him. Eiji grabbed hold of it, and a noise started echoing from it. He swiped the scanner through the belt, each medal being 'scanned' until fully swiped through, with his left hand raised up.
"Henshin"
TAKA!
TORA!
BATTA!
TA-TO-BA! TATOBA! TA-TO-BA!
Several medals surrounded EIji's bodies before they merged into one giant medal and landed on Eiji's chest as black energy covered his body, transforming him into his rider form.
"So cool!" we hear, as the scene moved back to show us this was a tv show being watched by a 10 year old kid and his mother.
"You really like that show don't you Kenji?" His mother asked, as the now named Kenji looked at her "Eiji is so cool! I wanna be just like him when I'm grown up".
"That would be a good role model" she said, before turning to Kenji "Kenji, I want you to promise me when you're older that you'll be a good boy and never leave anyone that needs help…okay".
"?...Okay" Kenji nodded, when the door opened up.
"Young master, it's time to go home," A man in a suit said, as Kenji looked over at him.
"Oh! Okay, bye mom" he said, following the man.
"Bye…dear" she said, as we finally saw that the room they were in…was a hospital room.
The scene then shined as we moved to the present.
"Mom…" Kenji said, as we see him in a classroom sleeping on the desk before slowly opening his eyes.
He was now 18 years old, with long black hair going down to his next and blue green eyes. He was wearing a simple white buttoned up shirt and brown trousers, and black shoes.
This was Kenji Fujima the son of the president of Fujima Industries
He blinked a bit before looking around, finding himself in the lecture hall where they were currently watching a video for the class.
'That's right, still have class' he thought, looking out the window seeing some teens playing and hanging out.
'Hah…I wish I could be like them…' he thought before shaking his head.
'No…NO! Tomorrow is finally going to be the day! Man, I can't wait!' he thought with a big smile on his face as he looked out the window.
A few hours later
Penthouse Apartment
Third person P.O.V.
In one of the tallest apartment buildings in the city Kenji walked into the tallest room after a long day at University where he was met by many maids and butlers.
"WELCOME HOME YOUNG MASTER KENJI!" They all said, as he nodded.
"Yup I'm back" he smi;ed, as one of the butlers walked up to him "Let me take your bag sir".
"Richard I keep telling you guys you don't gotta. I can handle it myself. You guys already do enough work around here" Kenji said, as the servants slowly nodded.
"So did my package come?" he asked, as the servants nodded "Yes, we left it in your room unopened".
"Sweet thanks guys" he said, running up ahead towards his room.
When he was walking towards the room he noticed one of the doors was open, as he looked inside to see his younger sister was doing her homework with her tutor.
This was Yui Fujima, Kenji's 10 year old younger sister who had long black hair going down her back and blue eyes. She was also wearing a school uniform.
"Hmm?" she blinked, turning around to see Kenji standing there making her smile.
"Welcome back big bro!" she said, as Kenji smirked "Hey, who's home?".
"Well Big Sis is still doing her practice and father is still at work I think" she said, as Kenji nodded.
"Oi! Don't get distracted" The tutor said, making the girl jump as she continued her homework.
Kenji frowned at this before sighing and closing the door as he walked towards his room.
This life he and his family lived, the life of a rich person wasn't what it was choked up to be, at least for Kenji.
Growing up he always had to live under his father's pressure as well as the expectations people had of him as the President's son and the future heir of the company.
His whole day would be filled with classes, either through school or classes to prepare him as the heir such as self defence and business classes, with all the work he never had a chance to make proper friends.
However even with all this he still had a desire, one so great that it was impossible…
"Here it is" Kenji said, opening up a large black box and a smaller with the design of a hero on it "Got to try it out".
Kenji then got back up as he began changing out of his uniform to a new outfit and to put on the thing in the box.
A few moments later we see Kenji now dressed up in new flashier clothes which was a white shirt with blue and purple paint over it over a Orange, grey and purple striped shirt, he was also wearing brown baggy pants and brown shoes. Around his waist was a toy version of the belt Eiji wore, the CSM OOO driver.
The CSM driver came with a number of medals that the hero used in the show.
There were the red medals depicting birds, yellow medals depicting felines, green medals depicting insects, blue medals depicting aquatic animals, grey medals depicting mammals, orange medals depicting reptiles and purple medals depicting dinosaurs.
There were also the new core medals released. There were medals depicting arthropods, more aquatic animals and insects, arctic animals and forest animals.
In the second box there were also some extra one like three super medals, a second pair of the red, green, yellow, grey and blue combos.
There was also a Kangaroo, Panda, Yadokari along with some special Rider ones the cracked Taka medal as well.
He was excited for it he had also made some medals of his own, grey ones known as cell medals though he may have gotten a bit too excited as he made more then he needed/
"Man, I look just like him!" he said, happy to be cosplaying as his hero, Hino Eiji.
You see, what he admired so much EIji was the fact that he was happy to live day by day with so little, helping as many people as possible just so he didn't have to live with regret.
His desire was to get a power like Eiji's and go on an adventure where he can be free and do what he wants to do, to not be pressured by his father and others expectations.
But Kenji this desire was impossible for the time being he was happy to imitate his hero and use it to maybe make some for friends.
"Alright, no classes, no work and no obligations" he grinned, as he looked towards a ticket "Tommorrows… IT'S GOING TO BE GREAT".
"OH! I should try this baby out first" he said, reaching for three medals in the box before looking to the mirrorand taking a deep breath.
"If I've learned one thing, it's saving lives…ain't cheap!" he said, imitating Eiji's words.
He then flipped the red medal in the air and caught it, before placing the red medal on the 1st slot and placing the other two medals in the other slots.
He grabbed ahold of the scanner, as a noise started echoing from it. He swiped the scanner through the belt, each medal being 'scanned' until fully swiped through, with his left hand raised up.
"Henshin" he said, pressing the button on the toy
TAKA!
TORA!
BATTA!
TA-TO-BA! TATOBA! TA-TO-BA!
When the song finished Kenji stared at himself in the mirror, as a smile crept up his face.
"MAN THAT FELT SO COOL!" he grinned, gushing a bit "I can't wait for tomorrow".
"Young master?" he heard, from the other side of the door, making him jump.
"U-Uh Y-Yeah?" he said, grabbing the door to keep it close.
"Your father has come home early, he wishes to speak with you" the servant said, making Kenji blink.
"My…father…?".
A few moments later
Third person P.O.V.
"Kenji…" His father said, as we see Kenji now in new clothes as he stood in his fathers office.
"Y-Yes sir…" he said, as his father looked at some records "Seems your grades have been going well".
"Y-Yes, I've been working very hard…" Kenji said,as his father looked at him.
"Listen, I have a job for you to do" he said, making Kenji blink "A job?".
"I'm working on a deal with Harvey Industries in America, I want you to come with me in order to seal the deal" he said "It'll be a good experience for you".
"O-Okay…when is it sir?" Kenji asked, as his father worked on the computer "It's tomorrow".
"EH?" Kenji gasped, as his father looked at him "Is something wrong?"
"I…N-No…it's nothing sir" he said, as his father went back to work while Kenji turned around and walked out of the room.
The servants looked at him, seeing the sadness in his eyes as he walked to his room.
They knew how excited he was about the convention, to get to meet new people…so to have it taken away from him for his fathers goals, they couldn't help but feel bad for him.
We then see Kenji walking into his room, as he looked at the cosplay he had prepared for the event before throwing it away.
He then leapt into his bed before hugging his knees, not wanting to do anything for the rest of the night.
The next day
Third person P.O.V.
The very next day we see a suited Kenji in the back of a car as he was driven to the airport.
Kenji hadn't spoken much since he had heard the news, he had looked forward to today so much but his fathers job for him completely ruined that.
However much to Kenji's surprise, the car he was in soon stopped "Huh?"
"Your father will not be joining you on this flight as he's busy with work, so you have some time before you have to leave Young Master" the driver said, before pulling out a bag and giving it to Kenji "So we'll give you four hours".
"What do you…" Kenji said, looking into the bag only for his eyes to widen when he saw his cosplay, the CSM OOO driver and the Core Medals.
"These are…!" he said, looking at the driver who smiled "Have fun".
"Thanks!" he said, quickly getting out of the car to get to the convention centre.
"AH I KNOW!" he said, as he passed by a bank "I should take some money out for it as well".
Kenji quickly ran into the bank to get the money, excited for the event he's been looking forward to for so long and maybe make some real friends.
However…fate isn't always so kind…
"EVERYONE DOWN NOW!"
Kenji's eyes widened as he looked behind him to see a man with a gun coming in causing everyone to get down.
"Stop right there!" The guards said, running towards him but the man then grabbed a woman and used her as a hostage.
"You fucking pigs get away or this girl's head is going to get blown to bits!" he yelled, as the guards nodded quickly getting to the floor.
As the man took the girl to the front desk so he could get the money Kenji couldn't help but look at the girl's terrified face.
He then pulled something out of his pocket, which was revealed to be the Red Hawk Medal and as he looked at it some words crossed his mind.
"If there is a hand reaching for help, and I don't reach out my hand when I can, the regret would make me wish I were dead... I reach out my hand, because I don't want that."
Kenji gripped his hand as he grabbed his bag before getting up and dashing towards the criminal.
The Criminal quickly aimed his gun at Kenji but was surprised when Kenji threw his bag at him, knocking him back.
"Grab my hand!" Kenji yelled, reaching his hand out as the girl reached out and grabbed it before Kenji pulled her in.
The criminal growled as he held up his gun and fired right as the guards tackled him to the ground.
However the bullet continued flying before piercing right through Kenji's chest, shocking everyone in the building.
Time seemed to freeze a bit as K-Kenji looked down to the hole in his chest.
He stumbled for a few moments before falling back next to his bag.
Everyone rushed towards him, and as it got closer to keep his eyes open Kenji could only look up at the woman he saved before smiling.
'At least…I could reach out to someone…and help them' he said, shutting his eyes and going limp, however as he did the red medal in his hand began glowing.

Kenji P.O.V.
"Wake up…young one"
"H-Huh?" I blinked a bit, before rubbing my eyes and stretching "Man what happened, I feel like I've been asleep for weeks".
However when my vision refocused I blinked in surprise as I found myself sitting on a white chair in a completely black void with chequered floor made of different shades of black.
"Where am I?" I said, getting up and looking around the black space trying to remember how I got here "Man everything is a blur, I just can't place it".
"Well that's to be expected after what happened to you" I heard, turning my head forward to see someone sitting opposite of me.
It was beautiful girl who looked a bit younger than me, she had glowing purple eyes and long silver hair with a violet tint to it as well as a purple coif on her head which matches the shade of her purple eyes, as well as a matching white and purple one-piece hagoromo dress with yellow trimmings which goes slightly passed her knees. She also wears purple shoes and white stockings, as well as a necklace with a pink diamond-shaped jewel in its centre.
"Hello there" she smiled, as I slowly nodded "H-Hi".
"Could you please take a seat?" She asked, as I nodded, sitting back down on the chair.
"So you may be wondering where you are and what happened to you but first I should introduce myself" she said, motioning to herself.
"My name is Eris, I am the goddess of fortune and the one who guides lost souls to the next life." she said, making my eyes widen.
"Lost souls… does that mean?" I asked, and she nodded.
"Yes unfortunately, your life on earth has ended." She said, sounding sad as I looked down as my memories of what happened came back to me.
"I just have one question, was the girl I saved and everyone in the bank okay?" I asked, as she nodded "Yes everyone made it okay, the security stopped the criminal but your family was-" "THANK GOODNESS".
"I'm so glad everyone is okay" I smiled, as she blinked looking at me "I would have thought you'd be more concerned about yourself since you did die".
"Well it is pretty surprising but, as long as I was able to help everyone else then I'm happy" I smiled, before noticing her looking at me with a surprised yet curious expression "Is something wrong?".
"Ah no it's nothing I've just never seen a human that's gone through you did act like this" she said, as I scratched my head with a smile.
"Well, now what do I just stay here or what?" I asked, and she smiled at me.
"Well I have three choices for you," She said, making me nod, "1, you can be reborn on earth into a new family or 2, you can lose your physical body and go to heaven."
"Geez, that sounds kinda boring" I interrupted her, making the girl giggle.
"Yes it really is."
"And number three?" I asked, with curiosity in my voice.
"Yes number three, you see there's another world out there that is in danger" she said, making my eyes widen "Eh? Really!".
"Yes… currently it is being ravaged by a being known as the Demon King and his army so we send youths like yourself to go there to defend the world" she explained.
"If…if another world needs my help then I'll do it. I want to be like my hero so I'll reach out to anyone who needs it" I said, making her smile.
"Seems like we're pretty similar" Eris said, making me blink in confusion "What do you mean?".
"Oh nothing" she smiled, as I slowly nodded "So is there anything else?" I asked. and she nodded
"Yes, you will be sent to this world with one item of your choosing." she said, before giving several sheets with pictures of weapons on them.
"And whatever you do, please don't choose me." She asked,with a chuckle making me raise my eyebrow.
"I can do that?"
"Yes the goddess who used to have the job before me was chosen by someone to bring along into the other world".
"Wow." I said before looking through the sheets she had given me.
Some of them did look interesting like a sword that can turn your body into fire and can form armour around you or a ring that can let you copy something's appearance and abilities…but…
"None of these feel like there for me." I said, as I looked at the sheets that I laid on the ground.
"What do you mean, Kenji?" she asked, as leaned back.
"It's gonna sound kind of weird but since I was a kid I wanted to go on an adventure with the same kind as my hero, but I doubt that's possible" "No it's possible".
"EH?" I blinked, looking at her as she smiled.
"You're not the first person who's asked for something like this, as long as you have the item with you it should be alright" Eris said, as Kenji blinked and spun around.
"Maybe…" I said, looking around before noticing a bag next to the chair making me smile "There it is!".
I then ran towards the bag before pulling out the Ooo driver and the medals.
"Then could you try making these real!" he asked, as Eris looked at them "What are these? I've never seen jewels like these before".
"These are Core Medals from a show I watched, kamen rider ooo, they hold the power of different animals. It definitely took me awhile to gather them all together." I said, before grabbing another booklet that was in my bag that held the new medals combos as I opened them up to show her and she was mesmerized by the coloured medals.
"They definitely look kind of familiar…" she said, looking at them before smiling "But I suppose I will allow it".
"Really!" I said, a bright smile on my face which made her smile back.
"Of course, though there is a chance the medals will be scattered so you will have to find them again" Eris said, making me blink.
"Oh…well that's right! Then I'll just go searching for them again!" He said, as Eris nodded.
"Very well then, please step in the middle of the room" she said, summoning a magic seal.
I walked on to the magic seal before being engulfed in a bright light as I floated towards portal above ke.
Switch to third person P.O.V.
We see Kenji flying through a portal of light, barely conscious as he floated to the new world.
However as he flew, several of the Ooo medals in his bag began falling out; however six of them stopped in midair.
4 of them flew out towards the world, the Lion, Kuwagata, Shachi and Sai while the Taka medal flew back into his possession,
The sixth medal, a pterodactyl medal flew up before entering his body causing his eyes to glow purple before he closed them again.
The scene then flashed as Kenji was brought to this brand new world.
And done, wow that was a lot quicker then I had expected but it was just a side chapter.
This chapter was actually meant to be a complete remake of the first chapter but it was running too long and I wanted to work on other things.
But I hope you guys like this looking into Kenji's past and if you want I'll do one for Tamazaki and Shara as well.
