"There she is. Our ticket out of here." Korg said to the rest of the former prisoners he had taken along for the revolution. But a tiny device on the ground caught his attention.
"Hey, what's this?" Taking it in his hand, he clicked a button on the small remote control. A second later the group could hear a groan coming from the floor to their feet.
"Thank you." Loki sighed in relief, finally having been freed from the electric currents running through his body.

"Hey, man. We're about to jump on that ginormous spaceship. You wanna come?"
"Well, you do seem like you're in desperate need of leadership."
"Why, thank you." the pile of rock responded, to what obviously hadn't been a compliment.
The smug grin reappeared on Loki's face at having found a group consisting of obviously stupid people. Without so much of a complaint they let the prince take charge of them. He led them towards the device for activating the extension of the spaceship's boarding bridge. But to his surprise the stairs leading to the gate were already lowered.

"Oh, someone already prepared the way for us. How nice of them!"
"I'm not so sure whether that's a good thing… This seems like a trap." the God of Mischief began to voice his suspicion. But Korg had already begun to ascend the stairs, the rest of the weird creatures in his tow. Loki scoffed at their lack of brain power. He wouldn't come for their rescue if whoever was already on that ship had other intentions than helping them out.
"Thank you mysterious person!" Korg called out towards the opened door.
"Aww, it was nothing. I'm glad to be of help to the leader of this little revolution~" a female voice unexpectedly replied from within.

Surprised, Loki's gaze shifted to the opening and he gaped when he caught sight of Luciana's figure at the top of the bridge.
"Oh, are you a friend of the Lord of Thunder, beautiful lady?"
"Indeed I am. He sends his regards. And now hop on, we've got an anus to pass through." she chuckled.
"You heard her, everyone, let's hop on!" Korg announced and soon the group had made their way onto the spaceship.
Except for one person.

"Are you planning on getting up here anytime soon or do you want me to leave you here?" the brunette called out. It was only then that Loki finally snapped out of it and hastily ran up the stairs. However, he stopped right before the top.
"What are you doing here? Didn't you leave with my brother?" he asked in disbelief.
"Well, I changed my mind. Besides-" she replied cheerfully. "I promised someone that I wouldn't leave ever again~"

He stared wide-eyed at Luciana as she hopped over the small gap, back into the ship. A warm feeling rushed over him and he couldn't help but smile at her words. It seemed like she remembered after all.
"Need a hand?" she teased, holding out her palm to him. The sight drew a chuckle from him.
"I think I might." Loki replied, an affectionate smile on his lips. Taking the last few steps, he reached out for her hand and was soon pulled onto the ship, the doorway slowly closing behind him.

It gets too much
And I don't know if I'll be good enough

Exhausted from the recent events and having to use her powers to a rather high extent, Luciana sat on the ground in front of the huge glass window, staring into the vast infinity of space. Millions of stars, planets and galaxies were competing in the way they shined, making it impossible to determine which of them was the brightest. Their way through the Devil's anus had been without any issues, due to the enormous size of the spaceship. Now they were safely traveling towards Asgard. She didn't know how long it would take them to get there, but given the acceleration this vessel was capable of, it couldn't take them much longer. Everyone else had scattered across the ship, exploring the hundreds of rooms while preparing for the upcoming battle in their own way. As it turned out, Loki had been the only one capable of flying the whole thing and so he was currently at wherever the spaceship was navigated from.

Luciana glanced to the side. Next to her stood some kind of fancy chair, most likely reserved for the captain of the ship. Loki would definitely like that one, she thought to herself. She could practically picture him proudly sitting on it and the image brought a smile to her lips. However, it soon vanished when she remembered what was laying ahead of them and she turned her head back to the front.

"Enjoying the view?" a voice, followed by an amused chuckle, reached her ears from behind. She slowly turned her head and raised an eyebrow upon seeing Loki walking up beside her.
"If you're here, then who's flying this ship? Don't tell me you left the navigation to Korg."
"Most certainly not. I don't have a death wish. But as it turns out this thing flies completely on autopilot once you enter the correct coordinates."
"Convenient."
"It sure is." he said, casually running his hand along the armrest of the captain's chair. But to her surprise the God of Mischief decided against taking a seat on it. Instead he sat down next to her on the floor.

"You're saying no to the throne of this ship?" she teased.
"Well, I don't really want to sit on something The Grandmaster sat on before. Who knows what he did on this thing."
Luciana chuckled and twisted her face, feigning disgust.
"Besides, the view from this angle is much better." he continued, slightly turning his head to look at her. "As is the company."
Luciana laughed. "Smooth."
"I'm trying."

For a while they sat in silence, both staring at the sea of glistening lights in front of them. Now that Loki was next to her, the brunette felt herself relax. She hadn't been particularly stressed before, but being on your own meant one had to be at least somewhat alert in case of the unexpected. But with him here, that wasn't needed of her, at least not in the moment. With her guard down though, there was nothing stopping the exhaustion in her bones from getting the better of her. Up until now she hadn't noticed how tired she really was. But now her eyes kept on falling shut.

"Someone seems tired." Loki chuckled next to her.
"Hm, only a little."
"You should rest a bit then."
"It's fine. I'll manage."
He shook his head. "No, you won't. You saw what my sister did back on Midgard. We'll need all of your strength once we get to Asgard. It will still be awhile until we get there, so there's still some time for you to lay down and recover some energy."
"Alright, alright, Mom. Calm down, I'll rest."
"Good. I found some rooms with beds earlier. I can show you the way, so you can lay down… there. Eh-"

Loki stopped mid-sentence when he suddenly felt some weight on his shoulder. Glancing to the side, he saw Luciana's head leaning against him. "Wh-what are you doing?"
"Resting." she replied in a tired tone, her eyes closed.
"What? No! You can't stay like this. You should go and lay down on a bed."
"Hmmm~ I prefer this though." she cooed.
"Why?"
"I feel like I can relax more on your shoulder."
"Yeah, well, I can't." he snapped. Her being this close already sent his heart in a frenzy again. He was glad Luciana's eyes were closed. At least that way she couldn't see the red on his cheeks.

"Why not~ I used to do this all the time when we were little. You never had any problem with it back then. So, what's the problem now?" she asked innocently.
"Lucy, we're not kids anymore. Things are different now. Especially after we…" he trailed off.
"After we kissed?"
"!?" The brunnette felt his body twitch and there was an awkward pause before he answered. "...Y-yeah."
Luciana chuckled.

"...You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?"
"Maybe~"
"That's kind of unfair, you know? First, you make me believe that you forgot and now-"
"I didn't. I remember. Everything."
He drew in a sharp breath.
"I'm sorry, Loki. I know I'm not being fair." she admitted in a somber tone.

"But I will be. After this is done, I won't run away anymore. And I'll answer all your questions. I'll tell you everything." she spoke softly, her words barely above a whisper. But he could tell she was being sincere. And despite himself Loki decided to trust in her words, believe them. "Alright. But you better don't die on me later, Lucy."
She chuckled slightly. "I would never."

Silence filled the room and not long after Loki could hear her breathing evenly beside him. She had fallen asleep. Knowing she wouldn't be able to hear him, he quietly whispered. "I wonder what you are going to answer when I tell you? Lucy… What will you say when I tell you that I…" He stopped himself, shaking his head. "No, I'll tell you properly later."

If I had 5 more words I'd say I wish you were mine

"Are they gonna be ok?" the brunette asked, looking down at the rainbow bridge. They had basically thrown Korg and Miek down there, and things weren't looking so bright for the Asgardians on the ground.
"Ah, don't worry. They'll live." Loki replied nonchalantly as he steered the spaceship directly next to the rainbow bridge. "Anyways, are you ready?"
"You're going to make a big entrance, aren't you?"
He didn't reply, instead conjuring his Asgardian armor along with his trademark horned helmet. A confident grin on his lips, he stepped forward towards the edge of the bridge.
"Well, at least we're back to the green cape…"
Luciana followed after him and after emerging from the fog, she saw him spreading his arms while yelling from the top of his lungs.

"Your savior is here!"

"Achem." she coughed, stepping beside him.
"Saviors. Your saviors are here. Plural." he promptly corrected himself.

On the ground, Loki immediately ordered Asgard's citizens to board the ship, getting them away from the battle, after which the two joined Heimdall in the fight.
"Welcome home. I saw you coming. Both of you."
"Of course, you did."
"Save it for later. We've got some asses to kick." Luciana interrupted them, gesturing towards the horde of zombie soldiers storming towards them. And soon they were engaged in a full on fight. Loki wielding his daggers, Heimdall fighting with the Bifrost sword and Luciana piercing enemies left and right with her rapier. They made a good team, however, it seemed like there was hardly an end to the numbers of Hela's army.

Suddenly a huge stroke of lightning struck the castle, drawing everyone's eyes towards the bright blue light. Not long after that further strokes of electricity appeared at the other end of the bridge, taking out the soldiers one after another. Next to her, the brunette could see Loki grinning. "It seems like your brother finally decided to join this fight."
"It looks like it."
"You don't plan on letting him take all the glory, aren't you?" she teased, earning a scoff from the God of Mischief.
"Lucy, I'm offended."
"Alright, Offended. Follow after me and stick close then. Let's show him how this is done!"

Not waiting for his reply, Luciana darted forward, making her way through the mass of soldiers. From the corner of her eye she could see Loki following her as he was told. Avoiding and parrying their enemies' moves left and right, they slowly advanced along the bridge. It was a bit like they were dancing, only that a misstep would most likely cost them their lives instead of just their pride. Sidestepping another zombie soldier, Luciana came to an abrupt stop. As did Loki, who turned around to face the enemies in their backs. Back to back they stood, finding themselves surrounded by Hela's underlings.

"What now?" he screamed.
"Now" she began, a smug grin on her lips "you cover your ears~"
It only took him a second to understand before a sly smile appeared on his features. "Oh, I see."
Quickly he pressed his hands on his ears, just in time before Luciana unleashed one of her skills. Like a radio she increased the volume of the sound waves created by the ongoing battle to the max. Having no chance to protect themselves from the sudden overbearing noise in their ears, the creatures grabbed hold of their heads in agony. One by one they lost hold of their weapons, some of them even dropping to the floor by the end of it.

Stopping the spell, the brunette staggered a little. The great extent of power needed to use the skill left her exhausted. On her own she probably wouldn't have enough strength left to take out all of them. But that's where Loki came in. The moment Luciana had stopped the noise he had darted forward, effortlessly striking down the wounded and fallen soldiers with his daggers one by one. By the end, they were surrounded by a sea of bodies. In an extravagant move he had taken out the last one of them using his helmet and now he was standing a few steps away, proudly grinning at Luciana.

"See, I was right all along. Together we're unstoppable."
"Ahahaha, yeah… Though, I'm afraid I won't be able to pull off this move again all that soon." she panted. Noticing the toll it had taken on the woman, he ran over to her, offering his hand to steady her. "Well, I guess I'll just have to make sure you won't have to."

By the end the group had managed to take out every single one of the zombie soldiers present. Leaving only their leader standing in the middle of the bridge. The group banded together, all of them facing Hela.
"I think we should disband the Revengers." Thor remarked.
"Hit her with a lightning blast."
"I just hit her with the biggest lightning blast in the history of lightning. It did nothing."
"I can't remember you ever paying attention during our history lessons."
"Not the point, Lucy."
"I'm just saying. Maybe it wasn't the biggest yet."

As they bickered, Hela ever so slowly moved along the rainbow bridge, closing the distance between them with every passing seconds.
"We just need to hold her off until everyone's on board." Valkyrie noted.
"It won't end there. The longer Hela's on Asgard, the more powerful she grows. She'll hunt us down. We need to stop her here and now."
"So what do we do?"
"I'm not doing Get help."
"That would be funny. But also most likely suicide."

Stepping forward, Thor uttered the undeniable truth: The only way to stop Hela would be to cause Ragnarok and ultimately destroy Asgard. He tasked Loki to head to the vault with the goal of throwing Surtur's crown into the eternal flame.
"Bold move, even for me brother." the God of Mischief exclaimed before turning to head towards the smaller of the two ships they had stolen from The Grandmaster. However, he didn't get very far as someone pulled him back by the hand. Surprised, he turned around to find Luciana looking up at him with worry. Her hand, that was almost desperately holding onto his, was shaking.

"My, Lady Echo, don't tell me, are you actually concerned for my well-being?" he joked.
"Not funny, Loki! This is extremely dangerous! What if you get caught up in the destruction Surtur will cause? You could-"
"Hey." he spoke softly, placing his free hand on her cheek. "I'll be fine, I promise. After all, I have an appointment for a very important conversation after this. And there's no way I will miss that one."

Luciana blinked at his words. They didn't exactly fill her with relief, but his promise to return and the way he gently caressed her with such an affectionate expression on him managed to at least reduce her fear and anxiety enough for her to let him go. There was no other choice for her than to trust him and so she nodded, releasing his hand.
She felt his warmth disappear from her skin and soon she saw his back retreating towards the aircraft. "You better not vanish again or else I'll kill you!" she yelled before his figure disappeared inside.

But it's these four letters that hold me back every time
