Heath Pov:

"Gotta say the new blood here are pretty funny, from that wolf girl asking if humans are good to that lizard guy who wagged his tail around. Though me making smoke was a bit messed up, but that's why their freshmen. Their fresh right off from the schools, though I can tell it's going dull as ever since most of the monsters and Kaiju are going be on their phones. Not like me and Rhodey. Who's like me, a fire head with his head in the clouds. Maybe that's because how his dad was this oversized bird called 'Rodan', the fire demon. We helped out when his wings were damaged during the great fall, sure enough he's made sure no one messed with the Burns. Then he got a kid and we became friends, so far we're considered the blaze of Monster High. And I couldn't ask for a better wingman like him."

Monster High-Football Field

With classes over and free from his schedule, Heath decided to do some practices for the first grave ball game that was coming up. Looking over the sky was a orange scaled pteranodon Kaiju wearing similar jock clothing from the team. He was in the air swooping around trying to see if Heath could bring him down.

"Come on hothead! If you wanna show off to those freshmen we still got game you gotta make sure to knock me down!"

Rhodey teasing him as the fire teen watched at how he was moving to fast. Since the union between monster and Kaiju children, the sports became more unpredictable and exciting. Especially when it came to Kaiju's flying in the air. Though that didn't stop Heath as he decided to try and light up the ball to get his friend caught off guard.

"You shouldn't have said that buddy."

Heath snickered as well was about to throw a fastball at him, as Rhodey seemed ready to catch it and whirl it back at him. The pteranodon was about to prepare for a response, he noticed at the concession stand was one of the new ghouls at Mr. Komos class. Abby Bominable, which both she and Tusk were looking over the foods that were offered to the new students.

"Cool as ice."

Thinking to himself from how Abby was noticing the looks from the other jocks that he and Heath hang out. They tried to be smooth with her, only to then be turn to ice in seconds by her hand shake. Tusk on the side laughed at the sight along was able to reverse the freezing process, to then give them a scare having them run away.

"Better to run from Abby than me! Cause it be permanent ice friends!"

Shouting out to them as Rhodey thought about how the two could be a couple, or possibly best friends which Tusk could pound him for making a move on the yeti girl. Flapping his wings in the air still he didn't notice Heath's throw which hits the side of his beak which sent him flying down to the ground scorching the grass.

Heath stating while holding a laughter as the fire Kaiju merely grumbled at the ball. Since he was distracted by Abby as he saw how the two frost based students made their way back to their own business, meanwhile for Heath he noticed his friend acting odd.

"Dude. Are you already falling for the snow girl? She'll freeze you before you try to squawk at her."

The fire elemental stating that shew was both new along might not be able to be with her since he was a second year. However Rhodey ignored it since compared to the other new freshmen, Abby was out of the afterlife.

"Maybe. But you never know, I mean if a couple like Deuce and Cleo could break maybe there's a chance for me that I could get a chance at a ghoul right?"

Asking Heath of how it was a shocker for Cleo and Deuce to break up since they were considered a fearsome couple. However over the summer there seemed to be a issue which lead to a breakup, though the question seemed to be a bit bad timing since behind them was both Deuce and his adoptive sister Mira noticing them as the pteranodon moved behind Heath freaked out at the sight. Deuce merely groans of how the news have been going about the entire school lately, but still it was his business.

"Relax. If I'd turn you to stone it already happen, but I just wanted to see you guys practice. With the upcoming Founder's day, somebody got to keep a eye on you two."

Advising how that he knew the two always had to keep the grave ball tough and ready for anything. Meanwhile for Mira she took a moment to notice one of the passing students such as Junior, the lizard Kaiju that had everyone laugh at him due to his tail incident.

"Has anyone talk to the new lizard Kaiju? He seems a bit upset with what happened at class."

The moth girl asking if they had time to speak with Junior since while he may not seem that much of a social Kaiju. It wouldn't help but to see if he was doing alright, the school was made for both species to be welcome and open up to one another.

"It's the first day, give it time and I bet he'll warm up. I mean the first time I came to Monster High I tried to do a water sport. Which ended with me lighting it up on fire, even today Headmistress Bloodgood is baffled about how that happened."

Heath admitting that being the new kid was tough, but knowing how the school would be open to both monster and Kaiju it be possible for Junior to lighten up. Meanwhile for Rhodey, he didn't seem so convinced since there was something bothering him when he heard about the new student.

"There's something off about the guy, the guitar he has. I heard rumors in town about a 'prince of rock' who gets into fights with other Kaiju. He had a guitar and always used it in a fight. And I mean a lot."

Stating that he heard about some Kaiju getting into fights as well always causing a bunch of trouble everywhere he performs. Pulling out his Icoffin he showed them a video about a performance from the prince of rock, however no one could get a proper look at the performer.

Though that lead to a Kaiju being thrown out the window, so far it's gotten several hundred views for how entertaining it was. The four soon noticed Junior passing by several other students trying to keep to himself as well looking for a place to relax.

"Maybe we shouldn't go investigating about if this guy is the 'prince of rock'. I'm trying to lay off from the trouble making and looking into if the lizard is this guitarist. We should focus on the sports and maybe just keeping our heads up."

Deuce offering a suggestion for his friends due to how most gorgons have a way of causing trouble. So he wanted to try and turn a new scale and possibly stay 'good' while coming back at Monster High. The others merely sigh at the comment and decided to go back to their activity, meanwhile by a table was Cleo who was having several mummies treating her due to her being royalty. By the side was Caesar who was watching over the students along noticing Junior who held his guitar close and not letting anyone notice it.

"I don't like him."

Saying merely a few words while also being given a drink by one of the mummies, however Caesar did a quick growl making the mummy move away not interested in a beverage. Meanwhile for Cleo, she merry raised a eyebrow at her friend since both his family was considered royalty and well respected.

"You barely like anyone who doesn't equal to your strength or status. Or are you still bothered at how that lizard stood up to you?"

Cleo asking about how if he seemed to have a grudge against Junior for how the two stared at each other during the hallway. The lion like Kaiju kept silent seeing that while this type of act wouldn't bother him and it be interesting to see how good he was in a fight, there was something that urged him to beat him until he submitted.

"Whatever the case is the best thing to be our usual popular selves. Otherwise, if he starts trouble again I'll make sure he knows who rules the school."

Sounding serious along his eyes glowing red at the fact of how he'd make sure to put Junior in place so that he or any other Kaiju wouldn't try to step up to him or Cleo.

Later at the pool

After finally finding the one place that could let him relax in water and possibly be calm. Was the school pool which had free openings for aquatic monsters and Kaiju to refresh themselves. Having a towel along his guitar by the side Junior made sure to put his stuff by the side and make sure no one took it, removing his clothing and having his trunks on.

"Surprised that no one is enjoying the pool, I mean look at this place. It's like a resort."

Junior stating of how while he thought the school pool would be small and only used for sports. It was massive along could allow a party to be in the pool, heading into the water he quickly sighs as well felt at peace. Junior let the water move himself across to the center where he felt his mind slowly drifting, as that was happening his scales begun to slowly glow. Not noticing his power being shown and uncontrollable, he didn't hear that of the sound of feet running at the edge of the pool.

"Cannonball!"

A voice cried out as Junior's eyes open wide open in a shocking manner as his glow faded away in a instant. Looking above noticing a shadowy ball figure right in midair, the Kaiju swam away quickly and felt it smacking right into the water. The force of the cannonball sent the lizard moving to the side while bumping his scales, shocked at who did it. He saw coming up from the water was a spike like Kaiju with several spikes around his head and having a set of goggles over his eyes.

"Sorry. Whenever I see a good spot for me to cannonball, I have to roll up and jump."

Apologizing for the sudden jump which Junior merely nodded since from how he looked, his body seem like it could roll up into a ball. While he thought he could possibly by a Kaiju that recognized him and possibly be interested in a fight, Junior felt a strange feeling like if he wasn't a enemy but a friend.

"Names Armor, not exactly a normal name but it helps show what I am. But that doesn't mean I can be more."

Introducing himself to Junior in a friendly manner which the lizard couldn't help but smile since he wasn't trying to fool him in a sense of starting a fight. Offering a hand shake Junior introduced himself as it seem appropriate to be friendly to possibly one Kaiju that might not know his actual identity. The two soon heard groaning sound as Junior turned behind seeing a familiar sight which was Ghoulia, the same zombie ghoul that was with Cleo and Caesar when they met the others in the hallway.

"Really? This is guy that stood up to Caesar? Wow. Your lucky that Ghoulia was able to stop it. I remember the last time he fought a Kaiju that tried to prove he was stronger than him. Lost several teeth and had to get replacement fangs."

Recalling a time that his friend got into a fight which lead to a rather aggressive moment. However Caesar respected him enough to help pay for the damaged teeth, Junior looked confused on how the zombie and spike Kaiju were friends with the diva and lion.

"Not being rude or anything but how come that mummy girl was messing with those ghouls. I mean not like they were starting anything but, just out of curiosity."

Trying to not act so protective over Clawdeen and Frankie since they were trying to be friendly with Cleo. Not like he wanted them to get into trouble, the two heard Ghoulia groaning in a sad manner which meant might have something to do with Cleo's attitude towards the two.

"She's still grieving over her break up with Deuce. A gorgon she's been dating since they first met in middle school, I mean I don't know what happened. But only Ghoulia knows and isn't telling anyone."

Armor stating in a sad manner of how that while he was friends with Ghoulia and Caesar, it seemed that the answer lies with his zombie friend. Junior looked confused at the blue haired zombie girl as well seeing a empty expression on her face as he didn't understand how armor understood her.

"Question. How is it that you understand zombie? Is that a elective language or something?"

Curious that the only way for a Kaiju like armor to understand zombie was if he took a language class that helped him. It quickly resulted in a nod and smile since he was proud to understand zombie language as well know what their saying.

"Yep. I wanted to learn sea folk, but everyone took it. So I got offered zombie as a elective, though I needed someone to help me learn. So Ghoulia offered to help me out, since you can see I'm more 'hard headed' than intellectual."

Explaining his case as Junior was genuinely surprised how the two had a strong friendship despite of them being a Kaiju and zombie. As the moment felt relaxing he soon noticed Lagoona and Titan coming into the pool and noticed the three talking.

"Isn't this a sight to see, new friends being made. Mind if we join in?"

Lagoona asking as it seemed to be a group chat that seemed to fun to be involved in. While Junior felt comfortable with Armor and Ghoulia since they didn't seem like the type to cause any problems, he got defensive when he saw Titan as his scales began to ache like if they were about to ignite. Trying to keep calm he decided that he'd had enough for the day and decided to head back to his dorm.

"Actually there's some homework I got to get to. Also that my roommates are there, but it should be much quieter there. But I guess that's what happens when you shack up with the daughter of Dracula."

Junior kindly taking his leave as he decided to head out of the pool and grab his things. It was odd for him to rave so quickly when he saw them head out, though still it might be freshmen instincts to try and stick with a small crowd.

"Bummer. Would be interesting to see how good he was in swimming. Maybe have a race since that tail of his could give him a advantage."

Titan suggesting since it look like a good opportunity to recruit him for the swim team. Though that moment slipped away quickly as Junior was able to leave without wasting any time. While the others decided to enjoy the water, Ghoulia seemed curious of how Junior reacted to the mer folks that came in right where things seemed relaxed. Curious about this leave she decided to investigate on matter and see what had the lizard Kaiju so spooked.

Back at the Dorms

It had become night time and right now monsters and Kaiju were returning back to get a good night's sleep as well keep up with their assignments. Clawdeen however was doing her own hobby which involved a sketch book and array of colored pencils, right now she seemed to be working on a sketch of clothing.

"What'd you doing?"

A voice scaring Clawdeen as she didn't know someone was watching her, looking over it was a curious Frankie who noticed the drawings that her roommate was doing. Each one designed for a different monster as well both looking fashionable and freaky at the same time.

"I was working on some sketches for some clothing I could do for art class. I've been dreaming about being a designer since I was a young wolf."

"I wasted a whole hour trying to get a skeleton key for the bathroom since we apparently don't have a lock. Seeing that it's easy to open."

The vampire girl stating as she walked over making sure it would lock whenever someone would use it. Meanwhile for Clawdeen and Frankie they continued to look at several more sketches showing undone dresses which needed to be finished. The reanimated ghoul took a moment to see how that Clawdeen only had monster styled clothing and not Kaiju's.

"Do you plan on doing Kaiju clothing? While most of them have worn the standard clothing to conceal large portions of their body, along protection so their claws or large tails don't break anything."

Explaining about how most Kaiju's seemed to have a issue with customizing their own looks due to their forms along sharp attachments cutting up clothing and their environment. Clawdeen thought about that idea and could figure out a look that could help out, deciding to let their friend work. Frankie noticed the door opened which showed Junior making it just before curfew as well yawning since he seemed to have explored most of the school.

"Well look who has returned, the canine lizard. Your trending on the ghostly gossip with what you did to Mr. Komos heater."

"Well since everyone is here. I thought a good way for us to get to know each other is with the Founder's Day paper that we got assign in Komos's class."

"Is the reason why you two don't want to work together is because Junior might have gone into the bathroom after class when Draculaura was in during that time? Which is strange since you don't have a reflection, no offense."

The vampire girl merely sighs at the moment as she decides to turn in due to how embarrassing it was, Junior. Merely decided to look at the window since this felt like the first time being defeated with words, Frankie looked confused by the moment as they didn't know what they did.

"Maybe we can try spending time together tomorrow."

Clawdeen offering her friend another opportunity for them to get to know each other in a matter that didn't involve them going to sleep. Frankie nodded as they decided to hit the bed so they could recharge for tomorrow, while for Clawdeen couldn't help but feel sorry for the two as they might now dislike one another for the rest of the semester. Which wouldn't do good for her since she wanted to have friends, so she's had to come up with a for them to get along as well with her if they were all going to survive Monster High as a group.
