The New War may have ended and the mystery of the Zariman has yet to be discovered but fools tampering with the Void and drawn the brave and honorable Tenno to topple yet another Empire. Fools seek to challenge God to a duel to the death and in response God answered the challenge and sent forth his devils to punish them. Now I ask what is a King to the eldritch power of the Void?

9. Stage 9 The Nightmares Dance to the Void

ESKK: It's a brand-new chapter people let's get started.

(Start Platform Base Research Lab)

The Research and Development center of the base was in full swing. Foundries were hard at work constructing equipment for the Tenno while also providing their allies with their own means of protection. Their hangers were filled with Burai, Glasgow's, and Sutherlands as well as a few new additions to their arsenal of weapons. The Burai's were donated to them by the Kyoto Group curtesy of Lotus though the Tenno found it odd to say the least but seeing as they had been causing trouble for Britannia the Kyoto group gave them the equipment as a possible sign of good faith.

The Burai's of course were checked in case their offer of good faith was a boobytrap of some sort. Ava and a few other Tenno confirmed them to be clean of any such surprises. The Glasgow's and Sutherlands were mostly stolen from Britannia with a few of them donated by this Kyoto Group as well but not many. But that was beside the point as two weeks prior to the factory job three particular Knightmare Frames had arrived for the Tenno and were instantly moved to the lab for modifications.

One of them was donated to them by the EU as payment for a job and thanks for all the Tenno had done for them. It had a sibling allegedly, but those rumors had yet to be confirmed. the Knightmare was called Alexander when it arrived but after the modifications it will be reborn as something for the Tenno.

The other two were a combo deal that the Lotus managed to acquire. The first was the long-awaited Gurren Mk. 1 and when it arrived the Tenno were unimpressed no doubt several of them found out about its successor. At least until they saw the successor of Mk. 1 and the predecessor of Mk. 2 known as the Byakuen. When these Knightmares had arrived, work had begun on them as well to not only equip them with the ability to use Transference but also to add a few new bits of equipment to them.

As the Lotus oversaw the construction the doors suddenly slid open allowing Ava and Sayak to charge in. "Are they done do we have them?!" Sayak asked as Ava glared at Sayak.

"Sorry Lotus I tried to stop him honest I did." Ava said as Ven, and Eureka calmly walked into the lab.

"Yes, our efforts are paying off." Lotus said as she presented the two newly acquired Knightmares. "We've finished the required modifications and more so have begun using the data of the Mk. 1 for other projects." Lotus said as she then started with the now former Alexander. "The first one is known as Django the wolf the gunslinger a deadly mercenary whose sharpshooting skills are only matched by his bestial savagery." Lotus introduced as she introduced Django. "Django was modeled off of Mesa with key differences her equipment is a pair of high-powered pistols with armor piercing rounds within them capable of breaking through even the Lancelot's shields with sufficient enough force." Lotus said as images of the weapons began to show.

"Should Django run out of ammo his combat dagger will help him out of a tight spot." Lotus added showing the dagger in question. "Should the knife not be enough we've also equipped Django with a heat whip that should be able to slice through just about anything against it." Lotus said showing the heat whip as the team saw it. "Alexander is capable of entering a beast form to traverse through difficult land venues and said beast form is also equipped with a pair of rifles on his back and blades on his side." Lotus explained showing Django's other form. "Eureka, I believe your levelheaded nature will be ideal to command Django." Lotus said looking to Eureka.

"I won't let you down, Lotus." Eureka said as she nodded to her leader.

"What about me where's my Knightmare!" Sayak asked as he was excited to see it but then the Lotus sighed.

"I'm sorry Sayak the lab teams and I are still working on it." Ava said cutting in for the Lotus knowing Sayak would be upset about it. "We don't enough Gurren data to work with or to be more precise we don't have ANY data on the Gurren Mk. 2." Ava said and in turn Eureka saw what this meant.

"Which means until we can see the Gurren Mk. 2 in action to get sufficient enough scans on it... we can't work on Sayak's Gurren based Knightmare." Ava said causing Sayak to go wide eyed in shock to this before he deflated in disappointment.

"Well at least we have three aces now when it comes to Knightmares." Sayak said but Ven begged to differ.

"We have two." Ven said surprising Sayak who then saw what Ven was doing.

"Oh, come on lover boy just because you have the hots for Princess wheelchair doesn't mean you need to keep her out of the fight." Sayak said as Ven glared at Sayak for that one.

"You're lucky we're in the research lab otherwise I would have shot you." Ven said glaring at Sayak who smirked at Ven knowing he hit a nerve.

"Ok break it up meat heads." Ava said as she pushed the pair apart. "If you wanna brawl it out like a pack of Kavats, do it somewhere else otherwise shut up and get your shit together." Ava said stepping in between the two boys.

"Fine." Ven said as he backed off for now as Sayak did the same.

(Scene Break Ashford Academy Evening)

Inside the main swimming pool of the academy, Lelouch and C.C were busy; actually, Lelouch is the busiest one as C.C is just swimming on the pool. Currently Lelouch was checking on his laptop the list of his new recruits, each one with its own biography. As he scrolled the screen of the laptop, he noticed one recruit named Diethard Reid, a Britannian who was by profession a reporter of TV according to the resume and what they had heard. "A Britannian?" Lelouch voiced with curiosity as he read his application. "He's a rather public man, for a spy. I guess he's anti-imperialist, too." Lelouch deduced but one could never be too careful with such men.

"How nice that there are so many trying to enlist" CC spoke while she was floating in the pool upon the water's surface.

"It's been easier than I expected. The vast majority of Elevens hates Britannia but cannot justify using terrorism to fight it." Lelouch said as he used this to his advantage.

"And so, the majority of the elevens support the Black Knights." CC said with a matter-of-fact tone used.

"Yes, it certainly makes our work much easier since the citizens refuse to report our activities to the authorities. Even this group called 'Kyoto' said they would send us some Knightmares." Lelouch listed off the support they have been receiving from the people. "Plus, our ability to gather information is increasing exponentially." Lelouch spoke as he went over the data. "Even more, now that I have Tenno on my side, there's nothing that can stop me." Lelouch finished with satisfaction, everything seemed to be perfectly fine in his plan to destroy Britannia. Thankfully contacting the Lotus was simple enough but also difficult they had defensive measures to ensure her identity remained hidden while also preventing anyone from figuring out where she is.

"Now that you mention them, I'm very interested on what they are capable of. " CC said with interest and curiosity that she used to hide the fear as well. After CC had met the Man in the Wall, she tried to avoid meeting with the Tenno if it can be helped. Thankfully, the being had not reappeared after their first meeting which suggested CC had yet to do anything to earn his ire. The fact the eavesdropper as Ven had called her had not been noted may point to it either not caring or not being aware.

"Why is that?" Lelouch asked as he noted that CC had taken a vested interest in the Tenno and the one Ven had called Nemo. Nemo translates roughly into the word nobody it sounded like a name he would use if by some off chance Lelouch was born a female.

"It's really strange that this organization appeared out of nowhere." CC began as she suspected that the Tenno were hiding something about themselves. "I have wandered this world for a long time, and I haven't seen a trace of them through history." CC said as she figured the Tenno might not be from this world.

"What?" Lelouch asked while almost amazed by what he was hearing.

"And there was also that feeling…" CC added as she got out of the pool.

"What feeling?" Lelouch asked and thus CC sighed a bit.

"Before we met, I felt that something appeared in the world, like a rift." CC said as she was not out of the pool.

"A rift?" Lelouch asked with interest evident in his voice. "Do you know where?" Lelouch asked curious as to where the source of this may have originated from.

"I don't know, it could have been anywhere" CC confessed walking over to a spot near Lelouch. "But I'm sure we will find out soon." C.C as she grabbed a towel and began to dry herself off.

"Maybe you're right, I should focus on my own problems right now" Lelouch said as he decided that after he has destroyed his homeland, he would investigate this matter starting with the Tenno.

(That Same Evening the Tenno)

"Jeez we got applications coming in from the wazoo." Sayak said as the Lotus was going over the applications.

"I don't even know what we're supposed to do with them after we leave this world and go back to our own." Ava said as she and Sayak brought some data in for the Lotus to look over.

"This is intriguing." Lotus suddenly spoke up and in turn focused on the information she found.

"What is?" Ava asked with curiosity.

"Cornelia is amassing a large number of soldiers she's doing it quietly and under the radar. I suspect she's planning an assault on the JLF." Lotus said causing Ava and Sayak to scoff.

"Ok and let those assholes crash and burn not our problem." Sayak said as he placed a container down.

"It might just become our problem soon enough and remember the Hotel jacking was done by a splinter cell not the actual JLF." Lotus said as she had acquired the information from one of her sources among the Eleven population.

"A mission?" Ava asked and thus Lotus nodded.

"Yes." The Lotus confirmed and in turn Sayak sighed.

"I'll go the stuff we'll need." Sayak said as he took his leave to prepare for a possible mission that he honestly didn't want to go on.

"He'll get over it." Ava said as she followed after him to prepare as well.

(Meanwhile in an unknown location)

In a place where there's only orange skies and clouds but has nothing but a large white temple-like structure hovering in the endless space, it is also considered to be a place where it could be called another world, on the temple-like structure known as Sword of Akasha stood the emperor of the Holy Empire of Britannia, Charles zi Britannia.

Charles is currently staring at the endless sky, he is deep in thoughts about what happened these weeks, he felt a great disturbance right before his speech on the funeral of a departed ally, it was like an unnatural distortion that formed a small rift in the world or to be more exact, the universe.

Then Zero appeared with his organization the Black Knights, which had become a headache, and now a mercenary nation appeared to make things worse. The group that caught more his attention were the Tenno.

He could still remember that day when they first appeared on the TV, at first, he thought that they were just a regular terrorist group, but after 2 weeks he witnessed all the havocs they caused in his homeland and the Areas, he clearly underestimated them, and they might be as powerful as Zero and his Black Knights.

"Just what are they, the Tenno?" Charles said to himself. Ever since their first official appearance during the Kawaguchi convention center, more and more people from all over the world started to join him because of his speech.

"Have you felt it, Charles?" A new voice spoke from behind him.

"Yes, VV." Charles replied with a calm tone as he turned around to face his older brother who looks more like a kid then anything.

"That rift, what could have caused it?" VV asked as he had sensed it much like CC had.

"I'm not sure VV, but whatever it was, it must have been made by someone more powerful than us." Charles said as he had a possible theory as who it could be, but he did not want to assume.

"Who could it be?" VV asked suspecting it to be CC rebelling against them and if not her then another Code Bearer entirely.

"I'm not sure who, but in due time our main concern is that of the Tenno and the abilities they displayed." Charles said almost angrily over the possibility of another group having Geass users like that assuming they were in fact Geass users.

"I know Charles; they have proven to be stronger than the Black Knights." VV said as he could understand Charles rage seeing as the Geass order had the sole possession of most if not all the Geass users in the world as well as Code Bearers.

"We must find a way to stop them. You know what would eventually happen if we don't resolve this matter." Said Charles said but that was a ball faced lie on his part. He long suspected it to be the Tenno and from the looks of it now that they were out in the open the Tenno were acting like they were trying to get attention. Or more specifically they were trying to get a certain someone or group of someone's attention.

"Yes, they might be able to stop us from accomplishing our goal." VV said as he had seen what the Tenno can do. "But before, we must know what other feats they can perform." VV added as he wanted to see exactly what the Tenno were capable of.

"What do you suggest?" Charles asked with a raised brow and a glare.

VV then let off a smirk as if he were five moves ahead. "The Irregulars are some of our experiments into Geass research they will be ideal to test these Tenno for us." VV said as he had long since suspected that their powers were either Geass related or something else entirely. "Some people have been calling them, Warrior Gods, and a few Britannians who survived them called them devils." VV said which got Charles attention. "I wonder for those who seek to kill God would God send forth devils to defend himself?" VV wondered aloud as he looked to the structure with a long of curiosity.

Charles had heard the rumors of the Tenno how they were Warrior Gods to the people and Devils to their enemies. The only true way they could possibly decern the origin and source of their power was to capture a Tenno for study. But they were crafty as they were powerful so their best option would be to catch them by surprised but the chances of finding such a way were slim to none. If the Irregulars prove to be successful, then they could deploy other Geass Users to work on capturing the Tenno and bringing them in.

(Scene Break the following Night Black Knights)

In an abandoned warehouse the lights came on revealing several Knightmare frames standing and ready for battle. They were Burai's but they were currently deactivated until a mission began for them to be used. Many of the Black Knights were amazed over what they received as these Knightmares were gifts from the Kyoto Group who supported almost every major resistance group in Japan.

"Those guys from Kyoto they believe in us." One of the founding members, Sugimiya said as he looked upon a Crimson Red Knightmare frame.

"They sent us this a completely made Japanese Knightmare." Another member, Minami, said as Kallen looked upon the Knightmare.

"The Gurren Mk. 2." Kallen announced as she looked upon the newly acquired Knightmare.

"Did you guys read the user manual?" Ohgi asked looking to his allies in this war against Britannia.

"I'm really loving this. The big shots in Kyoto are recognizing us we got their approval." Tamaki said rubbing his nose with a grin on his face.

"And with the Tenno backing us up we'll be unstoppable." Yoshida said with a grin on his face over their growing power.

"Tamaki!" A voice called from the background getting the groups attention. "Can you show me how to use this equipment?" The Female voice asked and in turn

"Sure, be right there." Tamaki responded before going over to help the girl out.

Inou then chuckled as she saw this and went over to help out with the others. "Newbies what are you gonna do?" She joked as she went to help the new members of the Black Knights.

Kallen stayed behind as she looked to her friends at least until a set of footsteps got her attention from behind. Looking to the source she saw who it was and calmed herself. "First Tamaki and now Inoue and the rest are treating this like a party." Zero said as he spoke directly to Kallen. "Kyoto is backing multiple resistance groups, correct?" Zero asked as he looked to Kallen.

"Yes, which means we finally made it in they know that we're worthy." Kallen said with pride in her voice but Zero, begged to differ on this.

"No, you're wrong there, Kallen. This is merely a test that they put to us." Zero said as he saw these 'gifts,' for what they truly were.

"So, what if it is, it's still incredible." Kallen said as she could not help but be happy that the Kyoto Group was giving them a chance.

"You're an optimist." Zero said as he then threw over something to Kallen who caught it on instinct. Looking at it she saw it was a flash drive like device that was shaped like a crimson wing.

"What's this?" Kallen asked as she looked at the key in question.

"The Gurren Mk. 2 is yours no Kallen." Zero said as he was giving their most powerful Knightmare to Kallen.

"Mine?" Kallen asked in shocked over this. "But we have a lot more people now and we can't afford to lose you we need the Gurren's defense to protect you." Kallen defended as she knew Zero needed more protection than she did, protection only the Gurren Mk. 2 could provide.

But before Kallen could speak further Zero cut her off. "You're a top-notch pilot I'm a commander I'll use a Burai but you're our only ace to play during a battle should the Tenno be unavailable." Zero said making it clear that the Tenno were still hired guns at the moment. "Besides, you have reason to fight." Zero said and Kallen gasped in shock to this.

The red-haired girl then looked back at the key in her hand and steeled her resolve. "Right." Kallen said as she looked to the key with determination.

"Zero you got a second." Ohgi was heard as he walked over to the pair. "We got some weird intel here from a Britannian who wants to join up with the Black Knights." Ohgi said as he walked in holding the data in question. Giving it to Zero Ohgi waited a moment for Zero to read it as he had his opinions on it. "This may be a trap to draw us out." Ohgi said while Zero was reading through the data. "I'd say even if we wanted to confirm the information it's too risky to contact him directly but news like this isn't something we can just ignore." Ohgi said as Zero finished reading the file. "What should we do?" He asked as Zero then closed the file in his hand dramatically.

"This weekend we're going hiking." Zero said which surprised Ohgi.

"What?" Ohgi asked as he saw what Zero might be planning to do.

"To the Narita Mountains." Zero clarified then and thus it seems the Gurren Mk. 2 and the Burai's might be getting some field action sooner than any of them had expected.

"Very well then." Ohgi said as Kallen could see they were about to earn their place amongst the resistance groups whom the Kyoto Group supported.

(Scene Break Ashford Academy Lambrouge residence)

"Sayako, we won't be need, any breakfast for my brother this morning." Nunally said as she sat up to speak with Sayako who was carrying some things for Nunally.

"He's going out?" Sayako asked with curiosity while carrying in Nunally's outfit for the day.

"He'll be leaving on a three-day trip starting today." Nunally said as Nemo sat next to the bed and rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, sure a trip." Nemo scoffed as she was no fool. The fact CC was also staying here was further proof for Nemo, but she was told not to snitch and more, so it wasn't her secret to tell. Thankfully Lelouch hardly used his Geass while at home thus it gave Nemo free reign to roam around as long as she was within proximity of Nunally. If Lelouch ever used Geass while at the house and Nemo walked in front of him, she suspected both Nemo and Nunally would be in more trouble than the Tenno have caused up till now.

Nunally gave a small glare towards Nemo who began to lay on her side and pick at her ear. "Oh, I see. My, your brother has been going out quite a bit recently." Sayako said as she smiled to Nunally. "Think it's a Girlfriend?" Sayako asked as she went to help Nunally get ready for the day by opening the windows.

"Oh, which reminds me." Nunally said as she knew the Tenno would be due to arrive. "I'll be going out myself with some friends for the day." Nunally said which got Nemo's attention erecting a grin on her face. "I hope it won't be much of a bother." Nunally said as she could feel Nemo getting excited to be back in control again.

"Not at all, these friends of yours seem quite interesting." Sayako said as she knew now to prepare for some company even if it was a brief visit.

"Yes, they are." Nunally admitted with a small smile on her face over such friends. But before she could let her thoughts wonder the doorbell was heard and thus Sayako saw it. "That must be them now." Nunally said as Sayak chuckled a bit.

"Well, they are punctual." Sayako said as she went to greet them.

(Later downstairs)

Sayako opened the door and waiting before her was the disguised Umbra, Ven, and Eureka waiting for them. Umbra then began to perform sign language showing Sayako he was mute. "Is Nunally home right now?" Ven asked as he looked to Sayako hopefully.

"Oh, why yes she just woke up I do hope you don't mind waiting for her." Sayako said and thus Umbra nodded to them.

"It's fine." Eureka said as she didn't mind waiting as did the others.

(Scene Break Later that day Narita Mountains)

The Tenno had arrived at the Narita Mountains just in time as their convoy was seen driving up the road. The Burai's were pulling containers filled with mining equipment as in Umbra Ven sat on Noir who was leading a small vehicle with Django and Eureka leading the rear. Right now, the Cephalons were operating the Knightmares remotely to make sure they stayed with the group while Sayak and Ava were driving the vehicle.

the truth was that not only was this stolen vehicle filled with equipment for the Tenno, but it also had Nunally inside it as Sayak and Ava acted natural. Opening a small slide Ava looked to the back to speak to Nunally. "Hey, Nemo are you doing ok back there?" Ava asked as she made sure the equipment was secured so Nunally didn't get hurt back there.

"I'm quite alright thank you." Nunally said as she knew why Ava called her Nemo instead. Security risks as Ven would say and for Nemo it was simply easier that way.

Ven looked around as they were supposed to part ways at a certain point for the mission. Zero wasn't too forthcoming with his plan and Ven suspected that with the Gurren Mk. II in play it had something to do with the mining equipment they brought along. Earlier Zero had given them the signal to move from afar and in turn they were on their way to their next location. The Lotus had prepared them some new equipment for their Knightmares and would drop it off at the designated drop point.

They would have taken the larger forward command base, but it was too large, and they were trying to avoid enemy detection. Thus, as they continued to move Ven could not help but overhear the conversation the Black Knights were having at the moment.

It would seem that the Black knights had no idea of Zero's plans either, as they all think this was just a training exercise or they were out making their own hot spring with the mining equipment. But that was not what they were used for or going to be used for. This began to make Ven wonder why Zero was keeping his people in the dark of Cornelia's plan of attacking the JFL.

Ven would have ask him himself, but Zero seemed to have disconnected his radio so no one can bother him, or listen to any plan he could be saying out loud. This of course was a smart move for him to do but, at the same time it was also vexing. This made Ven sigh as he leaned back on his Knightmare trying to figure out what Zero was planning. It would seem that Nunnally sensed Ven was uneasy as she asked over a communicator, "IS everything alright?"

"Hm? Oh, yeah it is, it just seems that Zero is trying to keep everyone in the dark of his plans. Heck, he didn't tell us his plans either, and it has me a bit on edge." Ven said to which Nunally responded and said, "You think he has a plan to fight against Cornelia?"

"With all the equipment he's bringing along, he has some kind of a plan. But what that plan is I have no idea, which make me worried right now." Ven said as he made his thoughts on this clear. But he also had his own questions as he didn't think Nunally would come out on this mission. Then again, he didn't think the Lotus would contact her at all but hey Ven can admit when he'd been wrong before. "Speaking of I know the Lotus had contacted you to join us on this mission, but given the situation, this may become a blood bath, so why join us in this battle?" Ven asked her as Nunally said, "I may not like to fight, and I do want it to stop but I know asking people not to fight won't work… so I believe the way to stop all fighting is to fight as well so no one else has to die."

Ven could not help but smirk, even if you can't see it, it was there as Ven should have figured Nunnally would be like that, even if Nemo didn't like it. At least she is able to get some action at least as Ven said, "Well if that's how you feel then, I guess you should get dress for what's to come."

"Hu?" Nunnally went as Nemo was confused on what he meant, as Ven then said, "There's a container inside the truck you're in with some equipment that was specially made for you to use, and I think that you may enjoy it greatly."

(Little later)

After parting ways on a fork in the road the Tenno arrived at the spot where Lotus said she'll have the equipment dropped off at for the Tenno to use. As the Tenno were preparing everything, the truck that Nunnally was in was being park before it stopped and its engine cut.

Soon enough the back of the truck soon open up as its drop down like a ramp and from it stepping out into the light, Nunnally in a new outfit, to the look of it, it seem to be a mix of the Tenno's Operator outfits with a jacket and a helmet that cover the upper part of her face and head, similar to the Lotus just without the many wires coming out from the back but her hair was that was in a ponytail and a strange prosthetic device attach to her legs. The mask was originally something that was sold in Cetus that many Tenno bought due to how much it reminded them of the Lotus. Nunnally had then taken a few steps forward getting a feel for walking after so long. After a few steps it was clear that she was still a little shaky at first and thus she tumbled forward. Ven came to her side and caught her before she could fall and accidentally hurt herself as he said, "Easy now, don't lean forwards, keep your body center and let the leg braces carry you around."

"I'll try," Nunally said as she did as Ven instructed and took another step this time a little smoother but still a little shaky as Nunnally was surprised by this. After all it has been a longtime since she was able to walk on her own two legs, so it made sense that she was rusty. When the exiled princess had reached the ground finally as Ven said, "There you go, a little rough but you may get used to it after a while."

"I don't understand it, how am I even… walking again?" Nunnally ask as this was the first time, she was walking in years with the help of the devices that the Tenno had given her as Ven said, "The prosthetics that are attach to you are acting as both a brace and motors for you. The neural headpieces that you are wearing are reading your brainwaves while also acting as a transmitter telling your legs to move. A sensor is also there as well to help you stop before you run into something. In a way you can say that you are walking on your own just with your mind telling your legs to move via a proxy."

"In short the device your wearing help you simulate natural walking again," Ava said as it seem she had a hand in it as she came up to them and said, "Just be aware of how much you do walk around, as just like any other person you will get tired after a while of walking, but with your condition from before you may get tired quickly as well so best to take break ever now and again."

"I understand, thank you for doing this for me," Nunnally said as Ava said, "It was nothing, and if you have to thank anyone, thank Van for putting in the request."

"Yeap Loverboy can't get over it." Sayak said as he walked by while carrying a container out from the truck.

"Supply drop, inbound." Ven announced and in turn the group looked and saw the supply drop was in fact coming in while exiting cloak mode.

"Huh haven't seen that thing vehicle in a while." Eureka said as landing in the clearing was what appeared to be a modified Corpus Tank that had carried supplies during a Hijack Mission the team took part in.

"Tenno." Lotus spoke getting the Tenno's attention on her via communications. "This is our knew Knightmare mobile Transport, it holds everything needed to keep the Knightmare maintain as well as a foundry for ammunition, energy, and shielding just like the Railjack." Lotus spoke as Ven noticed that the vehicle was heavily modified from back when the Corpus had it as it now had several knew bits of equipment to go with it. "Inside I also have new equipment for Noir to use after studying, re-creating, and modifying the Varas weapon of the Lancelot, Ven you might come to enjoy it." Lotus spoke and in turn Ven looked to Noir and thus proceeded to have it loaded into the tank.

(Inside)

The group looked and saw Noir was being equipped with a new rifle as Ven noticed that it was of a sleeker design in comparison to the Varas. "This is the Medusa a new Knightmare weapon that utilizes the technology used in your Archguns we recreated the Varas for Tenno used." Lotus said as Ven saw the new guns specifications on the tanks monitor.

"Looks deadly." Ven said as he saw the gun in question.

"It has the same fire power as the Lancelots gun but with mods to make it even more deadly." Lotus said and thus the Tenno saw they had some firepower now. "I've also made small modifications to the Noir it now has combat daggers in the event your swords are destroyed." the Lotus said as the Noir's data was pulled up showing where the Daggers were stored.

"Thanks." Ven said grateful for the new gear.

"Now on to the mission parameters." Lotus spoke showing the data that Zero had provided prior and Lotus had looked over. "Your target is Cornelia Li Britannia she is to be captured alive." The Lotus said as the Tenno saw the data on Cornelia. "Zero seems to believe she has information of value and thus requested this." The Lotus said as the Tenno saw the data. "Even if she does not have the information, he seeks she does possess access to all of Britannia's major secrets military or otherwise." Lotus said as she looked to the Tenno.

"So why bring the Knightmares in on this?" Sayak asked as he was confused.

"Cornelia has prepared herself in the event you all show up." Lotus said showing the data of Cornelia's G1 Base. "The Vents have been equipped with scanners and should the Camera's go offline she will be alerted of your presence." Lotus said but there was more data to be had. "And even with that she will not be in the G1 Base my sources suggest she will be leading from the front lines instead." Lotus said and thus Ven got the gist of it now.

"So, we basically have to fight through her forces to get to her." Ven said and thus Lotus nodded to this.

"Cephalon Talva and I shall command this vehicle and provide tactical support where needed." Lotus said as Sayak moaned in frustration at the first one.

"Why Talva?" Sayak asked as he and Talva were not on good terms. Talva was a Command Cephalon who the Tenno had discovered after they had fully built their Railjack, and Cy had been linked up to it. When they found Talva during a Void Storm Sayak, and Ava were the ones to reactivate her. Sayak said some smartass comments that Talva didn't like and thus she made his life miserable ever since.

Her precepts for a Railjack were useful to the Tenno and thus they kept her around in the event they ever get a second Railjack. That event came about when they discovered the Temperstari and helped her complete her mission which resulted in the Tenno acquiring the Warframe called Sevagoth. Of course, after they fixed up the old Ghost ship Talva had made it a habit to make Sayak's life miserable. Sometimes she does small things like locking him out of the Railjack or slamming a door shut in his face. Other times she messed with his resource collection by dropping it by 35% all because he was against giving her a ship upgrade.

Sayak had of course fired back with his own things, after all it's not his fault that his Warframe likes to set fire or freeze the ground in the ship. "Oh, is that Sayak I hear? I was wondering where you wondered off to." Talva was heard as the semi-sadistic Cephalon was helping Lotus with Mission control.

"Bite me!" Sayak snapped glaring at the Cephalon.

"I don't tempt me." Talva retorted as Sayak growled to this.

(Scene Break Cornelia's G1 Base)

Cornelia with her staff and Euphemia were discussing the battle plan for the destruction of the Japanese Liberation Front. Euphemia was here mainly because she wanted to see actual combat firsthand and was quite stubborn about it. Cornelia of course allowed it since she tended to spoil if not dot of Euphemia even back when they were children.

"We're certain that the Japan Liberation Fronts headquarters are in this area." Dalton reported as he and those of Cornelia's staff surrounded their war table. "We've already split four battalions into seven units and hidden them in the vicinity." He reported before all eyes went to Cornelia. "We only need to wait for the Viceroy's signal then we'll surround them in one fell swoop and wipe them out." Dalton said as he looked to Cornelia.

"And are you confident that the enemy won't show up outside the encirclement line?" Euphemia asked as she had some concerns about this plan.

"You mean Zero?" Cornelia asked sounding oddly cocky about it.

"Have no fear about that as the operation begins, we will be blocking off the surrounding highways and mountain roads also." Dalton reported as Cornelia was confident in this.

"Plus, we have reserve units if Zero or the Tenno are foolish enough to show up then we will see the end of Zero and a proper interrogation of the Tenno who come here." Cornelia said as she had long since updated her security to ensure the Tenno would not be able to breach this place. The Security included sensors, cameras, and even inferred. If the Tenno managed to get in, then they will NOT be getting back out of the G1 base.

"But sister the Tenno have managed to breach such encirclements before." Euphemia voiced and in turn the staff grew concerned as the Tenno had a history of doing such things in both the battlefields in the EU and the Chinese Federation.

"If it's the civilians your concerned with... the Tenno have made it clear they tend to shy away from civilian casualties." Cornelia said as her tone showed she had given them some respect in that aspect alone mainly because she shared a similar sentiment for her troops.

(Meanwhile with the Tenno)

Ven was working on Noir as he was making sure the Knightmare was ready for battle. Their mobile Knightmare base was up and running as it was able to hold up to four Knightmares at any given time. The Tenno Knightmare frames and an auxiliary Knightmare could store as well as any tech or gear they scavenge off the battlefield for later use. Grabbing a wrench Ven was working on the machines as Ava was sitting cross legged typing away on her newly acquired computer. On her screen was the data of Nina's little project as she was running it through several variables.

"So why do you still have that information again I thought we neutralized it?" Ven asked as he grabbed another tool to use.

"We pushed her back a bit, but the Lotus doesn't want to take any risks with it." Ava said as she did her work. "I'm developing a means to counter it should it be ready for weaponization." Ava said as she then took a sip of a drink that she brought along with her on this mission. "If she gets it that far or worse the Britannians ever catch wind of it we need a way to stop it." Ava said making it clear they needed to be ready for a possible worst-case scenario.

"I wager if Nina was around during the Orokin Era she'd be recruited by the Scientific caste to further its development." Ven said taking another tool which was followed by the sound of a blow torch from where he was.

"No kidding." Ava said as her parents were from that Caste before joining the Zariman crew. Ven then closed up the hatch after finishing what he was doing before looking over to Ava. "So far I've figured out some of the wavelengths involved and I should be able to make a counter measure, but I'll need to keep updating it the further along Nina gets." Ava said making it clear that bug they put into her computer might be useful for them.

"Can't we just delete it?" Ven asked but Ava had other ideas.

"Maybe but we need to consider a possibility she has a photographic memory or had written the notes on paper somewhere." Ava said making it clear that those two variables needed to be considered as well.

"A hard copy she can fall back on... good call." Ven said as he knew Ava made a good point on that. "But can you really make a counter measure BEFORE she can weaponize it?" Ven asked with concern for Ava.

"We'll just have to wait and see." Ava said with a smirk while adjusting her glasses a bit causing the computer screen to reflect off the lenses. No doubt Ava saw it as a challenge and took the opportunity to answer said challenge. "I've also got a side project using Archwings is all well and good but on a Knightmare frame, they're not very reliable." Ava said as she showed another application, she had that had such plans. "Our guys in the labs are working on it but we need more Knightmare data... but based on the data we do have I think that the Britannians have something called a Float System but the data on it I have is not enough." Ava said as Ven chuckled a bit as he saw Ava was in full science mode again.

"Slow down Ava one breakthrough at a time." Ven said knowing how Ava can get at times.

"Yeah, sure maybe when there isn't a need for genius to happen, I'll possibly slow down then." She said taking another sip of her drink. Ven in turn rolled his eyes and walked off to make the final preparations for the battle.

(Later back at the G1 Base)

Cornelia was now in her Gloucester as they were making the final preparations for the battle. "All units are in position." A soldier reported to which Cornelia nodded to this.

"Understood. Euphemia will provide logistical support from G1 as planned. Have her command the Medical group." Cornelia ordered as they prepared for the mission at hand.

"Yes, you're highness." The soldier said and thus went to convey the given order.

As Cornelia prepared to launch, she knew the Tenno would show up. They've always showed up to a battle against the Britannians and knowing what she knows now her problems came from the Tenno all the way back at the EU battle lines. She needed to secure Area 11 and return to the front lines as soon as possible because if the Tenno are allowed to continue then chances are all the land Britannia had conquered will be lost and thus push them back years in that regard.

"Princess Cornelia." Guilford was heard as he took Cornelia's mind off those thoughts.

"Guilford let me guess, this is about Euphie isn't it." Cornelia said more than she asked knowing that was exactly what has Guildford concerned.

"Yes, she really should be in a government agency not." Guildford began but Cornelia cut him off.

"She's being unusually stubborn about this she told me she wanted to see actual combat herself." Cornelia said but then brought a more morbid thought of the sort of battle the Tenno take part in. Many soldiers have begun fearing a Tenno as just one of them left behind scores of dismembered Britannian troops in their wake. Just then an alert popped up from the private channel she had set up with the Irregulars and thus she had to cut her conversation with Guildford short. "Sorry Guilford I need to take this." Cornelia said and thus switched channels to speak with what she hoped would be their anti-Tenno unit. "This is Cornelia." The Princess greeted and thus waited for them to respond.

"Hello Princess." A woman spoke as her voice belonged to Madd's unit. "My unit is in position and prepared for Tenno interception." She reported making it clear that they were ready to deploy the moment the Tenno appeared.

"Good ensure that you are ready to move in the moment confirmed sightings are made." Cornelia said as she knew this was the units commanding officer in the field. If rumor held truth no one in the unit was a Brittannian and thus it was why they were relegated to a Black Ops unit taking the missions no one else could or would.

"Understood." the woman spoke and in turn ended the conversation. Honestly, Cornelia would rather not rely on these Irregulars, but it was better to have them and not need them then to need them and not have them. This group was their best if not their only shot at taking the Tenno down. If they fail to beat the Tenno, then the Tenno's popularity will only skyrocket causing anarchy from the conquered areas. If this group fails, then Cornelia will need to bring in the big guns in the form of the Knights of the Round Table. And if people hear of this then it shows that the Tenno forced the Britannian's to bring out their A game and thus the EU and Chinese Federation may rally behind the Tenno against Britannia.

(Meanwhile with the Irregulars)

The Britannian Special Honorary Foreign Legion, Irregulars were all set and ready to move out. They had been given these orders to help neutralize the Tenno because their specially made Knightmares would provide for them an edge their opponents did not have. The Tenno were fast as they were powerful with or without a Knightmare and thus their Knightmares were the only ones with the ability to match them blow to blow, at least on paper.

The four Knightmares were ready to deploy as they were not too far away from the G1 base. They had a specially made transport for them as hardly anyone knows who they actually are. The four Knightmares were prepped as the pilots were all females who were ready to ship out and deal with the Tenno.

"So, what do you think we'll be facing with these Tenno, Sancia." The dark-skinned girl asked as she sat cross legged on her Knightmare. "Do you think they are actually Geass users or something else entirely?" She asked curious as to what they might be dealing with.

"I'm not entirely sure Dalque." Sancia said as she was looking over the data once more. "But the Empire is really worried if they are going to risk deploying us into battle." Sancia added as she knew whatever these Tenno had it was either an exceptionally powerful Geass or something else entirely.

"But what about the unknown Knightmare unit?" A pale haired young woman spoke up as this got Sancia's attention. "From the reports it seems that it's allied to the Tenno yet unlike the Tenno it uses nonlethal methods to disarm and remove its opponents from the battle." She said as Sancia nodded to this.

"Yes, Lucretia, I read that from the reports as well." Sancia said as she looked to her partner knowing that whoever their foes were might be difficult for them to handle. "But we will need to exercise caution whoever or whatever these Tenno are they are most likely high trained warriors with years of experience, practiced discipline, and a killer instinct that they will not hesitate for even a moment to exercise." Sancia said unaware of just who or what the Tenno really are.

(Back with the Tenno)

"Heads up!" Sayak called out as Eureka was then nailed in the head by something Sayak was working on. Thank the Void Eureka was in her Warframe as Sayak realized he was in trouble. "Woops." Sayak voiced making it clear that what he just did was a total accident on his part.

"Idiot." Ava sighed as she kept up her own work and grabbed a soda right after.

"Looks good, but I need to cut it a bit from maximum fire power to increase speed," Ven said as he was going over the mods on his Knightmare and weapons to make sure they were all up to his standers as Nunnally stood by as she said, "Say Ven, I want to ask you something that been on my mind."

"And what's that?" Ven asked her as Nunnally soon asked him, "How did you become a Tenno, I asked Nemo about it, but she doesn't know at all what a Tenno is either."

"Is she here as well?" Ven ask without even bothering using his Geass to see if she was here or not as far he sees it, the more he uses the more stronger it may become and he trying to avoid using it as Nunally saw Nemo in the corner of the room but wasn't even looking in their direction at all and more look towards the others as she said, "She is, but she doesn't seem interested in listening."

"Then let me make this very clear as I can… we didn't become Tenno because we wanted to but more forced than anything, as you already know we came from another world to say, but it's more of an alternate world of this one where being known as the Orokins ruled at one point, they were great architecture, geniuses in their own rights, but they got greedy and to go as far as stripping everything their world destroying it in the process and not just theirs but other planets too stripping them and they plan on extended their reach toward other worlds in another system which lead us the Tenno on the path of become Tenno in the first place."

"And how did it happen?" Nunnally asked curious as to how such a plan could lead to the creation of the Tenno. But before Ven could answer her question, in the background the sound of energy weapon being fired for a sec which hit Sayak's rear catching it on fire. Sayak was heard screaming out in pain as he said, "HOT! How did that happen?!"

"Sorry, my finger had slipped," Eureka said as she acted calmly, no doubt her way of getting pay back, accident or not. With Sayak just keep running around until Ava soon pull out her gun and shot him with a cryo round which put out the fire and made some frost as she said, "There now fire's out."

"Thanks Ava," Sayak said as he brushed the frost off of him as Ven waited for thing to calm down a bit before he said, "Zariman ten zero, that where it all started for us."

"Ten zero?" Nunnally asked with the wording sounded strange to say and familiar in a way as Ven answer her saying, "A large colony ship, that pretty much a giant floating city that held hundreds of thousands of families that were being transported to the tau system to help build a foundry for the Orokin empire… but that plan fell apart quickly as we travel through space, the Orokin wanted the crew of the Ten zero to build a machine that would transport the entire colony through a dimensional gap known as the void which was believe to be a short cut… which it was but it was more than that, but we didn't know it at the time. So, when we tried to make the Void Jump to Tao well… I guess you can say the other side didn't open for us and we were trapped inside the void."

"And that what changed all of you?" Nunnally asked with Ven nodded a bit and said, "Yea… it did, but mostly the children of the ten zero crew."

"But… what about the adults?" Nunnally asked and felt something was wrong as Ven said, "The adults were effected as well… but more mentally, somehow most if not all the adults became unwell and then went crazy… no they went mad, they became violent, blood thirsty, or just savage they attacked each other or anyone they came across that wasn't like them… it wasn't pretty, with all us, the children went into hiding, locking ourselves in classrooms, closet, or any place they could find to survive against the adults that went mad."

"How did you get out then?" Nunnally asked that as she wonder how all the children even gotten out of the void in the first place as Ven went silent as he remembered meeting… him for the first time as his voice echo in his mind, "Thanks kiddo."

"Let's just say a miracle happen as the ship void jump again escaping the void and we were saved… but we weren't safe at all… none of us were because after that, we were treated less than human as you see the Orokin were just the worst, maybe as much or more so than the entire Britannia empire, take what they want, torture and kill to amuse themselves even feeding their own ego of dressing up in gold claiming to be golden lords but in a way they lack something compare to empire."

"What's that?" Nunnally said as to the sound of it the Orokin were not good at all as Ven said, "They didn't have the backbone to fight for themselves and just had others fight for them, thus lead them creating Bio-Metal exoskeletons that became known as Warframes from the very technology they created with the data they had stolen from one person that treated us Tenno with kindness after putting her to death, the one person we had all called our mother."

Nunnally felt sadden by this that the Tenno had lost someone they had consider their mother, and anger at the Orokin were just cruel beings. Ven had of course omitted how the Warframes were made to prevent Nunally from learning about the infestation and the Helminth that was used. But the story didn't stop there as Ven went on going, "The Orokin had enslaved all of us to fight machines they had created as we fight, we learn how to be honorable, we learn how to judge others that pray on the weak, we learn that there was more to fighting than we thought thus we became godly warriors that fought for honor and justice and we ended the war, but after that it seem they didn't have a used for us anymore and plan on either destroying us… or used us for something more sinister that maybe worse than death itself."

"But how are you all still here then?" Nunnally said wondering how the Tenno escape from the Orokin's grasp as Ven said, "We were freed by the lotus and given us a new purpose, while we also took our revenge upon the Orokin toppling their entire empire within the months after we became freed, we didn't just tore down the Orokin empire… we destroy it completely in hopes they would never rise again and so far they never had and never will and after that we went into a deep sleep but it was years later that we were reawaken to save the system again against many faction that was created after the Orokin's down fall."

"And this is the reason why you haven't stop fighting then?" Nunally said, as Ven thought for a moment as he said, "I suppose so, but there is more to that then you would think."

"Why is that?" Nunnally said but before Ven could answer the Lotus contacted the Tenno and announce, "Tenno, Cornelia's force has begun to move and about to start the battle."

"That mean Zero's plan is about to start as well then. Everyone, mount up, we're moving out!" Ven said as that gotten everyone attention as they quickly grab their weapons and gear with Eureka getting to her Knightmare as she said, "Time to see what she can do."

"I really wish I was going out there with my own Knightmare," Sayak said as the Lotus said to him, "Don't worry Tenno Sayak, you have an important role as well, as you will be temporarily be in command of the Byakuen, as we may not have all the equipment and weapons set up for it, it will still be a powerful assist to have in the field just in case but you will be keep on standby until needed."

"Oh man, I got the lame job, I wanted to kick ass too," Sayak said as Ava said, "Well with the only available Knightmare we have with its only weapon has is on its arm, it best to be a backup, not to mention the E.M.P device it has that can shut down everything around it, including itself. Which is just ridiculous as why anyone would put that in the machine in the first place if it would become useless too?"

Saying that last part to herself as she couldn't believe some genius thought it was a good idea to put an E.M.P device in a Knightmare that will shut down upon using it, at least until they can somehow modified the Knightmare itself to withstand this effect along with the others, it was only good as a support type at the moment with Ava soon said, "And you're lucky to be even using it in the first place, as not all of us are lucky to get a working 7th gen Knightmare to use, as we're stuck with these mass produce types."

"Don't worry Ava, you'll get a special Knightmare of your own too just be patient," Ven said as he didn't want to hear her winy about not having her own Knightmare to use compared to the other Tenno, as soon enough everyone Transference into their Knightmare with Nunnally switching with Nemo while bringing out the Mark Nemo as she said, "Finally some action."

In turn Sayak and Ava jumped onto Noir and Django and held on ready to move out. All they needed to do was wait for the first shot to be fired.

(Later with the Britannians)

The operation began as the Knightmares all launched into battle. From the G1 base Cornelia and her immediate troops flew forth with weapons ready for battle while. Hundreds of Knightmares launched into battle from varying launch places. From Train carts the Knightmares had been transported in as cargo and once the pilots were in, they went forth.

From the sky drop jets were released that sent forth several more Knightmares into battle as they had no doubt caught the Japanese Liberation Front by surprise. From a nearby town several more Knightmares were seen as the town had no doubt been evacuated for this operation alone. They had launched in scores with the intention of trapping the JLF in the mountain to prevent them from escaping. Cornelia led the charge as she had the Irregulars on standby to take on the Tenno if and when they appear. The Lotus had humiliated her back in the Saijima Ghetto and she intended to repay that insult a hundred-fold.

(Meanwhile with the JLF)

Inside the mountain is located the JLF main base, the screen of their giant sensor started to display hundreds of Knightmares surrounding the mountain. Warning lights were blaring as the door opened to reveal an old man, "We're under enemy attack?!" General Katabe called out in shock over what was happening.

"Yes, sir the Britannian forces have completely encircled the Narita mountains." A soldier informed as he saluted his commanding officer. "We've counted over one a hundred units." The Japanese soldier said as he reported what was going on.

(Meanwhile with the Black Knights)

After the Black Knights had regrouped with Zero, they had gone on to set up the excavators for this mission. They had already got through several lairs of the ground and were ready for whatever Zero's big scheme was. But then the attack on the Japanese Liberation Front began and in turn saw what was going on.

"It has begun." Zero announced as he saw the battle had begun.

Tamaki was the first to start voicing his objections to this. "What the hell! You've gotta be kidding me, Zero!" Tamaki called out as he turned his attention over to Zero. "Those troops coming in have this whole area totally surrounded! There's no way out" Tamaki said as he knew a suicide run when he saw one.

"We've already been cut off our only chance of surviving now is to fight." Zero announced as this began to get everyone worried. "Our only chance to surviving now is to fight." Zero said as this got everyone worried knowing that they split ways with the Tenno earlier for their own missions.

"What but we can't fight the Britannians?!" Inoue said as she was also worried about a possible suicide run.

"So let me get this straight we're surrounded you want us to fight head on?!" Tamaki asked shocked to hear this.

"We'll be fighting against Cornelia her forces are far stronger than any we've encountered!" Sugimiya said as he was against this idea.

"Correct it would be a miracle if we win this." Zero said as he knew that if his timing was right then that would mean that the Tenno would make their, move any second now. "Even a messiah must perform a miracle if he is to be acknowledged and thankfully, I've already set the stage to begin a miracle." Zero said and thus an explosion was heard from the battle.

Everyone looked and saw what looked to be one of the drop ships being shot down and crashing into the field. "This is why the Tenno parted ways from our group to stem the tide as it were." Zero said as he looked to the group who followed him into battle. "If any of you have doubts then lay them out before me now or lay them to rest." Zero said as he looked to the Black Knights. The Tenno had a good track record of success vs defeat so it made sense this would be the case.

(Battle)

The Lancelot Noir was craving its way through the Britannians as its twin Katana's cleaved through the varying foes in the fight. Clearly the Sutherlands never anticipated this and were forced to fight off the newly arrived enemy. Covering his back Sayak jumped off and slammed Gram Prime into one of the Sutherlands cleaving through the Knightmare. He took the arm out first before stabbing the blade into the shoulder using it to hold on. Once he got close, he flexed his left arm and slammed his fist into the Knightsmares head sensor before gripping something inside. He then tore out the censor and part of the eyes while he was at it effectively blinding the enemy unit before jumping off. The Knightmare never saw Noir as it was cleaved in two with but one sword. Sheathing the weapons, the Noir then drew forth its rifle and began to open fire upon several Sutherlands.

the shots were accurate and well-placed headshots making it clear to blind the Sutherlands first and foremost. If a Knightmare is blinded so is the pilot and if the pilot can't see, then the pilot was in turn left vulnerable. In turn Nemo dove in and removed the limbs of the Knightmares making sure they could not harm anyone while also ensuring the pilots inside survived.

AS the two went about fighting off their foes a few Sutherlands tried to circle around them only to be blindsided by Knightmare sized bullets coming at them. The source was from Django who was speeding through the battle shooting up every Sutherland it came across. Django, operated by Eureka then holstered the large pistoles before jumping over the battlefield and activating the heat whip and began swinging it about. The weapon was covered in serrated blades that were giving off a powerful heat allowing it to slice through just about anything it came in contact with. Thus, it came as no surprise for Eureka as she saw the new weapon easily carve through the Sutherlands like a hot knife on butter.

When she landed between her foes she then spun around and allowed the heat whip to do the work for her. Once that was done Eureka stood there in the center of the carnage. A lone Sutherland began to show itself only to be met with Ava who jumped out and sliced the Knightmare Frames head clean off blinding the pilot inside the cockpit. Seeing this Eureka had her Django drew forth it's combat dagger and stab the Knightmare in the chest forcing the cockpit to eject the pilot inside it.

"Alright fan out and locate Cornelia's unit!" Ven ordered as he knew for a fact that she had to be around here somewhere. "Radio in if you find her." Ven added and thus the group parted ways.

"Come on Nemo you're with me." Eureka said and thus she saw more Sutherlands were coming their way. In turn she jumped towards them and much to their shock the Django began to transform before their very eyes. It began taking a more bipedal form as its head whip became its tail and the two holsters opened to become guns for its back. The head retracted to become more wolf like as once it landed the Frame even roared like a beast ready for battle. It then charged at one of its foes and bit down on its neck tearing out the wires inside them before jumping back and firing the guns off at it. Once that was done Django began to circle around another Knightmare snarling at it as Nemo saw it all play out.

"Impressive." Nemo commented as she saw what Eureka's new Knightmare can do.

"That's not all." Eureka was heard before from the Knightmare's back a slash harkens launched bit the blade changed form. Instead of a blade it looked to be a handle which the Mark Nemo caught easily enough. Once the handle was caught Nemo quickly saw where this was going and in turn saw a riot shield nearby.

Meanwhile Ava and Sayak jumped back onto the Noir and thus the Ebony blacked scarf wearing Knightmare drove off using the land spinners for said travel.

(Meanwhile with Cornelia)

Cornelia led her unit with Guildford at her side making sure to keep her eyes open for any surprises. Just then the trees began to part ways and from it a small group of Burai's rose from it. Cornelia saw this and smirked as she saw what the Japanese Liberation Front had done around here.

"How cleaver they turned this whole mountain into a fortress." Cornelia said as she saw what had happened.

"Your highness please fall back." Guilford said as he rode by Cornelia's side in his own Knightmare.

"Guilford don't treat me like I'm another one of your women." Cornelia said as she saw the opponent before her.

Just then Cornelia charged forth showing her intention to do battle against the Japanese Liberation Front Burai's. "Princess Cornelia!" Guilford cried out but it fell to deft ears.

"It's Cornelia." One of the pilots of the Burai's cried out in recognition and fear of the Princess, nicknamed the Goddess of Victory.

"Don't panic take out the leader!" The leader of that detachment ordered as he and the other two opened fire on Cornelia.

"Insolent worms!" Cornelia called out as she made quick work of her foes. The attack was quick and without mercy as the last survivor of the detachment was met with the business end of her lance. The Knightmare was destroyed as Guilford in turn destroyed a turret on a ridge with his Slash Harken.

"Very well I will cover you from the rear." Guilford said as Cornelia smiled a bit from the cockpit of her Knightmare before striking a pose.

"Cornelia is here is there no one who will challenge me!" Cornelia bellowed out her challenge for all to hear. Just then her unit was being fired upon before from the wood line a familiar set of Slashharkens were seen. This forced Cornelia's unit to dodge the attack as from the shadows Noir showed up and took out several of Cornelia's soldiers.

"I'll take that challenge." Ven said making it clear he was about to make Cornelia eat her words.

Of course, Cornelia was surprised that the Tenno managed to breach their defensive line, but this makes things all the better for her. She had been hoping for them to show up and low and behold, they did. "The Tenno I was hoping you would show up this day." Cornelia said as she had been itching to repay the Tenno for the humiliation, they dealt her last time.

"Well, here I am." Ven said as he held his new rifle at the ready.

"Cornelia that weapon." Guilford said as he recognized it as the Lancelots weapon though it seemed to be a variant of some kind.

"Yes, Guilford I can see it." Cornelia said as she knew that once again the Tenno had managed to create their own versions of Britannian Weapons with modifications to suit their needs. There was no telling how dangerous that new weapon was, and Cornelia did not want to take any chances on this. "Well then I suppose I should admire your valor you Tenno seem to live off of war." Cornelia said as she then pointed her lance at Noir. "But you're a fool to face me alone! We have you outnumbered!" Cornelia said as Ven saw this.

"Outnumbered yes... outgunned no." Ven spoke and thus from behind his Knightmare Sayak and Ava jumped out in their Warframes and went on the attack. Ava was using Garuda Prime as Sayak, and his Chroma Prime took care of Cornelia's back up. It was no secret that the Warframes were able to tackle Knightmare frames with no issues as it was only Gen 7 Knightmares that were noted to give the Tenno any trouble.

With Cornelia's back up disburse by the two, Ven take his chance to go for the strike while Cornelia acted fast and dodge the attacked, with Ven barely scratching the paintjob on her Knightmare while she fired her Slashharkens nearly point blank range as Ven quickly dodge it when she did fired them, no doubt her piloting skills are above the average soldier using 5th gen Knightmares and maybe a custom one too with the speed it had as well.

While Ven may chase after enemies or they may come up to him so he can cut them down faster, but Cornelia was like that as instead she brought out a spear weapon and charged at Noir trying to pierce the cockpit itself, not like it would do her any good if there was no pilot in it to begin with, as Noir dodge it with ease and slash at the Cornelia's Knightmare only for her to come in closer and tackle against Ven.

Ven knew what Cornelia was doing, a mix of med to very close combat to keep Ven on his toes a bit. I would seem that despite not having a seventh gen Knightmare of her own she knew how to counter against close range fighters well enough. Ven smiled a bit to this as he had to give proper credit to Princess Cornelia that she has some skills… but it was just kid stuff for him.

Changing stance as Noir reverse grip his sword and ducking under Cornelia's attack before giving it an upper cup causing it to roll back while also balancing herself after that strike, no doubt took her by surprise as Ven said to her, "Not bad princess, but while you may have experience fighting in a battle field against number, it seem your clueless on fighting against people with skill beyond that of a normal soldier and literally a one man army so I will offer you this once chance, surrender quietly and end this battle, or be humiliated a 3rd time, as a saying goes, 3 strikes and you're out."

"And dishonor myself by this, I think not. I will have my revenge against you Tenno and the Lotus!" Cornelia said as it seems she wasn't going to surrender anytime soon as he said, "Then you have chosen the latter."

Before Cornelia knew it, noir was already on top of her as she quickly side step to dodge his attack while fire her Slashharkens once again as Ven dodge it with ease as he keep advancing against Cornelia as now she was on the run as she try to use the environment to help her as using the trees as cover while Ven slash through them with ease loosing site of Cornelia for the moment as he said, "You can run, but you can hide from me."

Looking at his mini map in his site he knew where she went as now, she is running as inside Cornelia's face was cover in sweating with a pissed off look on her face no doubt, she did everything she can to avoided noir, as right now she was getting a called in hoping they would be there soon.

(At another part of the battle)

Cornelia's troops were advancing up the mountain taking out any JFL soldiers they come across as the commander of the squad said, "Keep it together you lot, we're going to break through the 'Japanese Liberation Front' ranks and destroy that base for Princess Cornelia!"

The troops yell out to this as they keep going up, until suddenly one of the Sutherlands suddenly got hit by something before exploding with the Sutherland soon scattered as the commander said, "Enemy contact!"

"Where are they?" a soldier called out only to get blasted as well with more shots being fired, with everyone soon found the sources of the fire as they saw a Beast like Knightmare coming down the mountain towards them with a familiar dark Knightmare behind it being pulled by it while riding on a riot shield under it felt like its riding a surf board.

Django and Mark Nemo were coming in fast as Eureka fire her weapons to keep the enemies scattered around as Eureka said, "Time to shine Nemo."

"Got it!" Nemo said as she suddenly leaped up to the air with the shield at her feet before letting it go flying towards the Sutherlands, crashing into one with its firearm being thrown in the air with Nemo caught it before firing down at the enemy.

They brace themselves but the shots didn't hit them, but the ground around them causing dust and dirt to come up causing a smoke screen to blind them for the moment before Nemo landed and use her blades weapon and stab through the dust.

After the dust cleared each blade hit their mark as they stab through the heads of the Knightmare Sutherlands causing the cockpits to eject quickly before the Knightmare bodies exploded.

There was still more left as one guy called out, "You bastard!" before open fire upon the Mark Nemo, as the Nemo dodge and avoided the shot before returning fire upon the Knightmare that shot at her, taking out its weapon and arm that was holding its weapon before getting in close to destroy the rest of the limps.

Others tries to help their comrade, but alas it was for not. They ended up sharing a similar fate to their other comrades from before. They were then shot at by the Django before one of the Knightmare was pounce on like an animal while getting its body torn to shreds.

Just then rocket fire came down on Django as it finished up another Sutherland. The Rockets went off as the pilots believed they had taken out the new Knightmare. That was not the case as from the smoke Django came back out in its bipedal form and with its twin pistols opened fire upon the Sutherlands. Dalton's Gloucester was soon grabbed by Django's heat whip and thus held in place. The setting must have been lowered for this as the Dalton's Knightmare was in the grip of Eureka's Knightmare, Django.

Dalton growled and fired off a Slashharken at Django which forced the enemy Knightmare to free Dalton to avoid it. But that was a fake out as with one hand free the new Knightmare fired off its handgun at Dalton forcing him to back off. The Bullets tore through the Sutherlands like nothing, so Dalton knew he had to avoid those at all costs. Whatever those rounds were made off he dared not test his luck against them with the knowledge that they can tear through a Knightmare like nothing.

The two Knightmares had his unit beat as Dalton knew he needed a miracle or something to get out of this alive. Both of these Knightmares were too fast for him to fight head on and with his backup being a good way behind him he was trapped like a rat.

Meanwhile Eureka smiled as she glared at her foe showing that they would win this while Nemo was ready to end this fight and move on. That was of course until a new contact was heard on their comms. "Tenno Nemo fall back you're in the path of the attack!" Zero called out and in turn this meant Zero was enacting his plan.

Dalton of course fired at the duo with his backup in tow but just then they felt the entire ground beginning to shake. Nemo looked and thus with Geass saw where this was going and looked over to Eureka. "We need to fall back now!" Nemo called out and in turn the Lotus spoke up.

"She's right I'm detecting massive amounts of heat radiating from underground!" Lotus called out and thus the Tenno plus Nemo knew it was time to leave. As Django and Mark Nemo made their escape the entire mountain began to rumble and with it a landslide erupted forth. No one saw it coming as even members of the Japanese Liberation Front were taken by the massive landslide.

Dalton and Alex's units were being wiped out by the landslide as this severely cut down on Cornelia's forces by a large number. This was no doubt to the Tenno Zero's plan use the landslide and take out as many of the enemy forces as he could in one fell swoop. Eureka had actually used a similar tactic with her team during the Old War the offensive against the Sentient at the Praxis Citadel.

(Back with Ven)

Ven stopped his chase as did Cornelia as he saw what was happening. "What in the name of Void?!" Ven asked as he got the message, but he was a mere few feet away from also being swept away by the landslide. "I thought only Eureka with Atlas had this kind of strength." Ven said as he knew this would be child's play for Atlas if that Warframe was the cause.

Meanwhile Cornelia also saw this as she wanted answers to what was going on. "What's the situation?!" Cornelia called through her communicator wanting an update of what was going on and more specifically what had just happened.

"Were still confirming." One of the soldiers reported

"Get back your majesty! It's dangerous here!" Guilford called out in concern for the Princess.

"No matter! Where is Alex? Find him and find Dalton!" Cornelia ordered as she wanted to know if her Generals were alive and well.

"Princess." A new voice from the private channel spoke and thus Cornelia knew she was running out of options.

(Meanwhile with Sayak and Ava)

The two had moved to higher ground to avoid any surprises that landslide may have left behind. With their archwings the two Tenno had a vantage point from the sky as they saw what was going on. "Well that just happened." Sayak said as he was clearly surprised how close they came to being swept away.

"I think that it was the Gurren Mk. 2?" Ava said as she saw what just happened as well.

"But a Knightmare can't do that... can it?" Sayak asked as he was concerned now.

"Not normally unless it was equipped with that new radiant wave surge device but the only person who can make that is in the Chinese Federations payroll." Ava said but she suspected that somehow the Gurren had that as a weapon.

(Back with Cornelia)

When the chaos began to calm itself Ven was already on the move. Cornelia was on guard as she glared about looking for the Noir. She knew to keep her Knightmare's eyes protected since the unit's main cameras were located there. Just then a communication came in which got Cornelia's attention. "We have confirmed a new unit coming from the direction of the summit. Karius' unit is moving to intercept." A soldier reported to which Cornelia saw where this was going... or so she thought.

"They're trying to take advantage of the confusion." Cornelia commented assuming she had the JLF's plan figured out.

"Urgent transmission from Karius." Guilford said as he was almost in horror over what he found.

"What is it?" Cornelia asked with concern in her voice.

"It's not the Japanese Liberation Front! He believes the Black Knights are the enemy!" Guilford said and in turn Cornelia knew what was coming next.

(With Ven)

"Tenno, the Black Knights are moving in, move to support them." Lotus ordered as Ven knew that Zero planned to trap Cornelia.

"Understood." Ven said and thus the group moved into action. Noir began making its way to where the Black Knights were at as Sayak and Ava flew in from above and flew next to Ven's Knightmare.

(Meanwhile with Zero)

"Cornelia has only a limited number of reinforcements heading her way smash right through them." Zero ordered as soon some of the surviving Gloucester showed up. Seeing this the Black Knights were ready at least until they were gunned down and from the tree line Noir showed up with his rifle at the ready. Once he landed, he joined up with the Black Knights. Following it up several others were gunned down and from the other side Django showed up with his twin pistols out curtesy of Eureka.

The last few Knightmares left, Sutherlands, were then caught by surprised at the loss of their limb's curtesy of the Mark Nemo with her Blond Knives active. The Sutherlands ejected their pilots who flew off to a safe location away from the battle so they can regroup at the G1 base. The three Knightmares joined up with Zero's group who saw this and were happy for the assist.

(Meanwhile with Sayak and Ava)

As Zero's forces began to fire down upon the Britannian's they were soon aided by Sayak and Ava. With Garuda Prime Ava had her Warframe's claws out and was tearing her way through soldiers left and right. Meanwhile Sayak with Gram Prime cleaved through the Tanks his blade not at all stopped by the tanks thick armor.

"Look out!" Inoue called out as she had her group fire rockets at other tanks to help the Tenno out.

"Thanks for the assist!" Sayak called out with a wave and thus went to rejoin the fight.

(Back with Zero's group)

Just then another Sutherland came firing its gun off at the group opting Ven to use his Knightmare's shield to stop him. "Zero!" The voice of Jeramiah was heard as he fired his gun off at his foes. The good news was the Puritans were permitted to join this fight, but the bad news was that they were relegated to the back end of the battle. So, when Jeramiah had heard Zero was in the fight, he had charged in fully intended on restoring his former statues that Zero had cost him.

Two of the Burai's were taken out by Jeramiah as thankfully Ven and Eureka managed to protect themselves using the shielding on Noir and Django. "Is Zero here, if he is then face me! Come forward and fight Jeramiah Gottwald!" Jeramiah announced as Zero saw this as did the Tenno.

"This guy again?" Ven asked as Villette heard that voice and snarled a bit.

"Wait... Tenno!" Villette called out as she remembered the Tenno from when they managed to steal two trucks worth of supplies. The Puritan also remembered the deception that the Tenno had managed to pull off with the bomb carrying decoys.

"You will pay for the humiliation you caused me!" She called out as Ven looked to her with a raised brow.

"Do I know you?" Ven asked as Villette growled but unlike Jeramiah kept a calm demeanor about her.

"Well, well it's been a while Jeramiah and impressive that your subordinates seemed to have made a new friend with the Tenno." Zero said as he was no doubt getting a rise out of the two. "So, your still in the army? I'd love to stay and chat and catch up but I'm afraid that I don't have time right this minute orange boy." Zero said as Ven remembered that whole Orange, fiasco Zero pulled to free Suzaku.

Jeramiah was in turn triggered as Villette knew that Jeramiah had played right into Zero's hands. "ORANGE?! DIE!" Jeramiah yelled as he charged at Zero but was then stopped by the arrival of the Gurren Mk. II. The Red and orange Knightmare landed between Zero's Burai, and Jeramiah's Sutherland before the Tenno and Nemo could move in. Karen and her Gurren then disarmed Jeramiah of his Sutherlands rifle opting for him to use the combat knives attached to his frame's arms.

"Lord Jeramiah!" Villette called out as the Tenno saw no reason to intervene now.

"Stay out of this Villette this is my dual!" Jeramiah called out ready to do battle.

"But look at it I've never seen a Knightmare like that before. Is it possible that the Elevens have?" Villette called out but was cut off by Jeramiah.

"Do you think the Elevens are capable of such technology?!" Jeramiah asked as he was no doubt letting social biases cloud his mind.

"Dead man walking." Ven announced as he glared at Jeramiah.

In turn Jeramiah went on the offensive and thus the Gurren Mk. II did the same with nothing but a dagger weapon in its left hand. Jeramiah was in turn surprised when the Gurren moved around with the speed equal to that of the Lancelot and the Noir. The Knightmare then jumped to the sky avoiding the attacks from Jeramiah leaving him in shock. "It's fast!" Jeramiah gasped and in turn had to dodge the Gurren Mk. II's attack as it came back down.

Jeramiah was then pinned as he saw the Gurren Mk. II up close and personal. "This thing is this what destroyed Karius unit?" Jeramiah asked as he was in shock over the event.

"Yeah, that's right Britannia we can finally go up against you on equal footing head on and our counterattack with this baby the Gurren Mk. II!" Kallen announced as she glared at her foe. The Gurren Mk. II then reared back its right arm opting Jeramiah to move out of the way. He assumed if he kept his distance, he would be safe and while that was a good idea, he did not realize the right arm could extend. He was thus caught off guard when the Gurren Mk. II's right arm did just that and had Jeramiah's Sutherland grabbed by the head.

Unknown to anyone Eureka was scanning the Gurren Mk. II so Ava and the Lotus can develop the third Tenno made Knightmare using Gurren Mk. II as a starting point. The Tenno were then surprised as was Nunally through Nemo when Jeramiah's Sutherland began to heat up and inflate do to the pressure being forced through its body.

Ven saw what was going on as he figured Jeramiah had been humiliated and thus wanted to regain his honor. But in trying to do that he seemed to be willing to sacrifice himself for it showing he was suicidal in that regard. This was all just speculations on Ven's part though and even after a brief delay the Sutherlands auto eject kicked in and thus Jeramiah flew off with the Cockpit.

Everything was in position now the Tenno could see this their opponent had suffered tremendous loses and thus they with the Black Knights held the advantage. The question remained though how long before the Lancelot appears and how long will it last against 3 Gen 7 Knightmare frames as well as the Mark Nemo? But another question was melded in... will the Lancelot be fighting alone when Cornelia's little back up group was prepped and ready to deploy into battle? One simply had to wait and see for the results.
