Hey y'all! here's part three of Catastrophe, hope you like it!

Silvie-Tadashi IS going with them to fight Obake, sorry i should have made that more clear. He's just not technically a member of Big Hero 6 cause then they'd have to be Big Hero 7 and i wanted to keep the name...sorry about that!

I strap on my scratched-up breastplate and gloves, then survey myself in the mirror. My tracksuit and armor seem a lot less tight than they used to be—I made the tracksuit skintight, and the plates can't just flop around. I've always been a skinny kid, but it's a lot worse now. We need to save San Fransokyo or no one will have enough to eat, and we'll all eventually starve.

My helmet is still broken, and I can't fix it because I'm totally out of Plexiglas and I can't exactly get any more. So I have to go without any head protection. That might not be good, considering my history of concussions, goose eggs, and head wounds. I'll just have to try to not land on my head.

As I stare at the mirror, I realize the shadows under my eyes are so big that it looks like I have two black eyes. That or my eyeballs are sinking into my skull. And my hair is still a rat's nest—no comb is gonna work on that. Awesome.

I sigh and tear a hand through my messy, tangled hair. It doesn't matter how I look going into battle as long as we win, I guess.

I walk downstairs to where everyone is waiting. To my surprise, Fred is here now, dressed in his super suit.

Baymax raises a hand at my arrival and explains, "Fred is recovering well and is capable of joining us on this mission. His memory is slowly returning, so he will be fighting alongside us. Do we have your consent?"

"Yep. Absolutely."

At least we have all of Big Hero 6 now. But I'm still not sure we can take down Obake.

We head out, traveling on foot to the ruins of SFIT under the darkened sky. There's a perpetual layer of smoke all over everything, so the sky is black. Some fires are still burning, and we still haven't started rebuilding. We can't get any resources—everything at the ports and all the transport networks were destroyed. Defeating Obake is our only hope.

I climb the pile of rubble that used to be our school, staring down into the crater in the middle. Somehow the debris has formed a giant ring several hundred feet across. I assume we'll be fighting in that. Unless we can simply do a peaceful conversation, but that's definitely not likely.

A dark silhouette appears on the other side of the ring. It's Obake, holding my energy amplifier.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Hiro Hamada. I must admit, I didn't think you'd have the courage to show up." His voice is soft yet terrifying.

I grit my teeth. "You should have learned by now that I'm not a coward. And you should know that we can take you down any time we want."

Obake laughs. "And you should have learned by now that I never lose."

He pushes the two halves of the amplifier together, and a huge arc of electricity soars into the air. It illuminates something that I'd hoped never to see again.

Microbots.

Electrified microbots.

Awesome.

I pull out my magnetic disks and activate them, then climb on top of Baymax, addressing Obake as I do so. "You might not ever lose. But we never give up, and that's what matters. Baymax—" I take a deep breath.

"Destroy."

Baymax flies at Obake, dodging the electric microbots. I extend my disks, trying to pull the amplifier out of Obake's hands. But he's got an iron grip, and it's no use. Baymax and I fly around Obake in wide circles as the rest of the team gives it everything they've got. I can vaguely hear Fred yelling at Obake that it's his fault Fred has amnesia and that there are personal issues involved. It's honestly pretty funny.

Obake sends spears of electric microbots through the air at all of us, and it's all we can do to dodge them. He's really good at this. One tendril hits Wasabi and knocks him to the ground, and GoGo immediately stops fighting to check on him. Obake hits her in the back with more microbots and she slumps over Wasabi, motionless. Two down, five to go.

Fred is next—Obake spears him right through the mouth of his suit. I hope that didn't actually hit Fred. Three down.

Baymax and I are still circling Obake, trying to get close enough to grab the amplifier, but he has so many flippin' microbots that it's impossible. Dashi and Honey are trying to move in, too, but Obake isn't having it. I clench my jaw and steer Baymax closer. Then suddenly, a blur of dark blue and copper flies past me with a yelp of pain.

Obake has hit Tadashi.

I turn Baymax around and look down at Tadashi, sprawled facedown on the ground, unmoving. Honey scrambles over to him and checks his pulse. I can almost hear her sigh of relief, and she doesn't seem upset or panicked, so I infer that he's alive. But still. Obake hurt my brother, and he will pay if it is the last thing I do.

I pull Baymax into a nosedive and streak toward Obake, the wind rushing in my ears. All I can think about is that Obake is hurting my family and I can't let him do it anymore.

When Baymax and I are ten feet above Obake, he pulls the two halves of the energy amplifier apart, and I see it before I hear it.

A huge explosion rips the sky apart, and I'm flung off Baymax, soaring through the air, and then I slam into a pile of debris. Lying in the wreckage of the school, I hear Obake's soft laugh, and then his retreating footsteps. He's gone.

Dazed and confused, I sit up, rubbing my head and wincing. I don't think I have another concussion—that would not be good—but there's a sore spot on the back of my head that might take a few days to go away. The parts of my body not covered by my armor are a little scratched up, but I'm lucky to not be hurt worse, fighting a supervillain.

I struggle to my feet, still dizzy. Baymax lies just below me in the pile of wreckage, his armor a little scuffed and his visor cracked. He seems okay, though. He sits up as I half scramble, half fall down the pile of rubble. "Hiro? Are you all right?"

"I'm fine, buddy," I reassure him.

"I will scan you now. Scan complete. Your scan shows that you have several minor epidermal abrasions, but these will heal quickly and require no intensive treatment."

"Thanks, Baymax. Can you scan everyone else now?" I'd rather hear about them than me.

I hear the scanner whirring and then Baymax states, "No one has sustained major injuries. They have, however, been the victims of minor electrical shocks. We can easily treat these injuries, but we should get them home immediately."

I let out a sigh of relief—it's not too bad—and limp over to Honey. "Is Dashi okay?"

She looks up, her eyes filled with worry. "I think he'll be alright. But Hiro, Obake got away. What are we gonna do?"

I sigh. "I have no idea."

We fly the unconscious members of the team back to the café and start treating them. Tadashi wakes up after a few minutes with a faint groan.

"Hey, guys," he rasps. "W-what happened?"

He sees my face and knows. "Obake got away, didn't he?"

I nod. "Easily. But Dashi, are you okay? He shocked you pretty bad."

He sits up gingerly, testing his appendages to make sure they all work. "I think I'm okay. Just kinda…tingly, I guess? Is that how you're supposed to feel after getting shocked?"

"It is," Baymax declares. "You are not badly injured, but I recommend that you rest for a few hours."

Dashi gives him a thumbs-up. "Sounds good. Hiro, you wanna come with me?"

I realize I'm absolutely exhausted. "Sure."

Tadashi and I trudge up the stairs into our room. I collapse on my bed, still in my armor. I sit up and pull it off, then lay back down, putting a hand over my eyes to block out the light. I have a headache and my hip throbs dully. Probably bruised it crashing into that pile of debris. Great. I think I'm just going to lay here until I pass out.

My stomach growls angrily, demanding food. But I can't feed it—all our food has to be rationed. I'm just gonna try to sleep.

I pull the covers over me and curl into the fetal position. It's always either freezing cold or blazing hot in here with no heat or air conditioning, so I've been sleeping like this when it's cold. When it's hot, I have to sleep on top of my blankets. This is not a fun situation to be in.

The thought only gives me more determination to take down Obake, and it's the last thing in my head as I fall asleep.

When I wake up the next morning, my head still hurts and my gut is even more angry at me for not feeding it. I drag myself out of bed and stumble into the bathroom, checking the water. It's still not back. I didn't expect it to be, but I can hope.

I don't even check my reflection anymore—I already know I'm an absolute wreck. I sleep as much as I can, but it's not enough to make those dark circles go away. And my hair is still a mess. And I'm probably filthy from yesterday's battle, as well as having a bunch of scratches on my face. I need a shower. But I can't take a shower. I'd better just head down to the bay today.

We do go down to the bay, and it's downright freezing. But at least I'm clean. Mostly.

We go out on patrol, both to actually patrol and to look for Obake. I'm not surprised that he's nowhere to be found. If he doesn't want us to find him, we won't find him. He wanted us to find him yesterday, I guess.

Dashi and Honey are patrolling on foot below me and Baymax, so I'm amazed that I can hear the loud gasp this far up. Alarmed, I look down and discover Honey doubled over, clutching her stomach.

"Honey?" Tadashi shouts. "What's wrong?"

"My contractions just started," she gasps. "My water broke a couple hours ago, but I really wanted to help…"

Tadashi tears a hand through his hair. "He's coming? Right now?!"

"Yes, you idiot!" Honey yells. "Baymax, get down here!"

Baymax speeds toward the ground and I let out a yelp of surprise. We touch down and I scramble off Baymax, running over to Honey and Dashi.

"Hiro," Tadashi gasps. "Call the others—we need women—"

I stifle a laugh and pull out my improvised comm link, which I've added Aunt Cass to. "Hey, guys. Honey's in labor." After all the gasps and a tiny girlish scream from Wasabi, I say, "Aunt Cass, GoGo, we need you both here. Could you bring some, um, supplies? Whatever you need for a birth? Like a blanket and maybe wipes and stuff to, um, clean up after this?"

"On it," says GoGo. "I'll bring Wasabi. She might need something to squeeze."

Aunt Cass and GoGo show up a few minutes later, carrying several blankets, antibacterial wipes, and Aunt Cass has a tiny dinosaur onesie. I think that was mine when I was an infant. I wonder how Aunt Cass kept it all this time.

GoGo throws a blanket over Honey's legs, telling her to breathe. "You'll be fine. Your son will be fine. Everything's gonna be okay."

Honey nods, her face white, her eyes closed. "I need something to squeeze," she gasps.

"You can squeeze my hand," Tadashi offers, holding it out. "Do it as hard as you need."

"I don't want to hurt you, Dashi!"

"Just do it! I'm a strong man—"

Honey grabs Tadashi's hand and cuts him off. He lets out a tiny squeak of pain and clenches his jaw.

"I need something else to squeeze," Honey begs.

I give her my hand gingerly, and she clamps her other hand around my wrist. After about ten seconds, I hear a small pop and a jolt of pain shoots up my arm. I actually scream, collapsing to my knees. Honey lets go of me with a gasp. "Hiro!"

"I'm okay," I gasp, the world spinning. "I'm okay…"

Aunt Cass pulls me to my feet and calls Baymax over. He scans me and informs me that my ulna is bruised. Baymax splints my wrist and gives me a couple painkillers, then waddles over to Honey to assist with the birth.

I collapse onto a broken piece of stone, clutching my wrist and panting. Who knew women in childbirth could squeeze so hard?

After several minutes, I get up and limp over to the birthing area. It's chaos—Honey is screaming, Dashi is sobbing, Baymax is trying to be helpful, but his words are going right over everyone's heads.

Then suddenly, it stops. GoGo lifts the baby up and hands him to Aunt Cass, who wipes him down and zips him into the dinosaur onesie, then wraps him in a blanket. Both hers and GoGo's hands are now covered in blood, and I struggle not to pass out. I hate blood.

Aunt Cass hands the baby to Honey, and a tear slips down the new mother's face. Honey kisses her son's forehead, and Tadashi looks down at the baby, a look of awe and wonder on his tearstained face. The scene makes my heart melt, and I cautiously approach the new family. Dashi beckons me closer and pulls me into a side hug. I survey my nephew's tiny face—he's just about the most adorable thing I've ever seen, with big green eyes, jet-black hair, pale skin, and round, chubby cheeks just like mine. I smile, and the baby lets out a tiny cooing noise that makes my heart melt all over again.

"I want to name him Teddy," Honey whispers. "Tadashi Hiro Hamada. But we'll call him Teddy."

"He's beautiful," Tadashi said, unable to tear his eyes away from his son. "And we're both honored."

He hugs me tighter, and I know that right now, there is nowhere in the world that I'd rather be.
