Chapter 6: Relaxing at Café Mitter Meyer

Heine and Minnie are then seen walking out of the building. Minnie's basket is filled with the bought materials. Everyone in the building is waving goodbye to them.

"Ken ya believe they done sold me the materials ay nee cheap?" Minnie smiled with sparkles surrounding her face.

"I can't believe you nearly bought all of the fabric that they recommended to you. It's a good thing I put a stop to it," said Heine.

"Ya sownd like ayy husband would say ta his wife."

Minnie blushed in embarrassment at what she said and this flustered Heine. Licht, Maximilian and Ludwig watch in amuse.

"Sugar honey iced tea! Ay ken't believe ay done said that there out loud!" Minnie thought.

"Did I sound like a husband?! I don't know how to react or respond to that comment!" Heine thought.

"It's like a romantic comedy from the books," Licht commented.

"Oh, yeah. I can see that," said Maximilian.

"Maximilian, what kind of books do you read?" Ludwig said.

"Shush, they're on the move. Let's follow. This report is getting good," said Licht, leading the way.

Minnie then spoke up, "Whel, Heahn. This here shopping were shawtuurr than ay done thought. Do y'all wan-ta stik around, aw do y'all wan-ta go home?"

"I could go get a treat from somewhere. There's this little shop I would go to when I'm in town. It's called Café Mitter Meyer. We can stop there and rest for a while," he replies.

"That there sownds kind."

Then Licht said, "Time to get back to work, Maximilian and Ludwig. It's Richie's turn to help spread the love. You two fill out the report when he gets to work."

"Yes, Your Highness," both guards respond.

When Heine and Minnie come to the café's entrance, Richie shows up when they enter the place.

"Welcome, Sir and Madame. Allow me to show you to your table. It's the best spot for a lovely couple like yourself," said Richie.

"Thank ya, ser, but he's just ayy friend," Minnie responds as she and Heine follow him.

"Poor Professor," Richie thought.

"What is Prince Licht up to?" Heine thought.

While they walked, the other customers and employees soon noticed Heine and Minnie. The men were charmed by Minnie's chest while the women were shocked.

"Luckily! We got a pillow for a customer. I wish I were her waiter. That man with her must be her husband. I'm so envious," the men muttered.

Then the ladies muttered, "Those boobs are weapons. How did she get them so big?! Unless they are padded up. I think she and the man with her are married. A tiny couple, adorable."

When Heine and Minnie took their seat on another side of a table in a booth, Richie handed over the menus to them. Meanwhile, in the other stall, Maximilian and Ludwig are watching.

"I hope you two enjoy yourselves. So, what would you like?" Richie asks.

"I'll have my usual: a kapuziner and a sacher torte," Heine responds.

"Yes. And you, Miss?"

Chibi Minnie is sparkling while reading the menu.

"Oh, sawry. Ay nevuurr done thought ay would see this here on ayy café menu. Ay like green tea ayn' peppermint awful red velvet pound cake, please," she said.

"Coming right up."

When Richie leaves, Heine says to Minnie, "Is the cake a family favorite?"

"Luky guess. It's both av my grandfathers' favawites. Grandpa likes peppermint, ayn' PawPaw enjoys pound cake. We now eat it during the holidays ayn' kinfolk reunions," she responds.

"Minnie, if you don't mind me asking, what is your PawPaw like? If it's okay with you to talk about it."

Minnie was silent for a moment before taking a deep breath and said, "He were an amazing grandfathuurr ayn' fathuurr. Dad always tells us stawies av what he done told him ayn' his siblings when they was younguurr. PawPaw were always there ta help anyone ayn' thay ...err second tallest in thay ...err kinfolk ta my fathuurr. Dad always done said ay get my personality frawum him. But y'all know, pawpaw will make the same face y'all would, Heahn."

This surprised Heine but touched Maximilian, Ludwig, and Richie, who arrived with the order. Ludwig quickly writes down everything.

After clearing his throat, Richie placed their orders before them and said, "Thank you for waiting. Please enjoy and take your time."

"Oh, it sure looks yummy. Ay'm sure we will. Thank y'all so much," Minnie said while Heine nodded in agreement.

Richie then comes near Maximilian and Ludwig to watch the two instructors dine. Their chibi selves sparkle in happiness from eating their meal.

"Oh, pure romance from this first date will forever bless my soul," said Chibi Richie.

"The only thing that would improve this date is having an indirect kiss," Chibi Maximilian spoke up.

"Oh, come now. They wouldn't go that far," Chibi Ludwig.

"Does that pound cake taste good, Minnie?" Heine asks.

"Y'all done got it. Here have some, Heahn. Say aaahhh," said Minnie with a smile while holding a fork.

She puts it in Heine's mouth, which surprises everyone around them. But Heine was more surprised before Minnie took back the fork to continue eating the cake.

"INDIRECT KISS!" Richie, Maximilian, and Ludwig shouted with joy in their minds while expressing their excitement.

It didn't take a minute for Heine and Minnie to realize what they'd done.

"Wait a minute…Did she and I…," Heine thought while blushing slowly.

"Fudged up cookie kipfels! done ay make Heine…," Minnie thought with her face pink.

"DO AN INDIRECT KISS?!/DO AN INDIREC KISS?!" they both thought at the same time while steaming up in embarrassment.

Ludwig begins to write everything as Richie continues to work.

Meanwhile, at the Palace, everyone is super anxious that they are drinking lots of cups of tea. Adele, Lothringen Triplets, and Baby Penina are asleep on the couch.

"Licht, come on. Where is the report?" Leonhard said.

"He better get back soon before the couple returns home," Eins added.

Still caged, stripped, and muzzled down, Miguel comes barging in as he hops into the room.

"Miguel?!" said everyone surprised.

"Oh, geez. I forgot how Miguel is a determined spirit," said Titania.

Miguel spat out the muzzle and said, "Did you really think something like this will stop me?! Once I get out of here, I will get revenge on the four-eyed short stack!"

But everyone ignores him while he struggles to get out as they say, "He'll never get out of there."
